Speaker 1 (00:01):
Honestly, this is what the Catholic church. As a Catholic,
I can say what we need is a rebrand, and
you would be the guy.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
To do it.
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Imagine the pink smoke that would come out when I
get left. Fred's show is on. Someone DM me over
the week. I said, you know, the Pope listen to
your show because he's from Chicago. I'm like, no, he didn't, No,
he didn't, no, no, no, he would have flipped right
past it. But I like to believe that. We'll go
(00:29):
with it. We'll go with the Pope. The current Pope,
the new Pope has listened to this program.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
We're his favorite morning show.
Speaker 1 (00:39):
We do get a lot of listening out of out
of the Vatican, out of Vatican City. So it's true. Yeah,
morning everyone, Monday May twelfth. Hi kal Hi, Jason Brown. Hi.
Can you imagine that? Though I guess his brother, the
cute the cute guy, and he's older guy, the younger brother. Though,
he's a treasure. He's an absolute tread and he's in
(01:01):
the Vatican now I flew there. He did. Yeah, he's
like sitting in the background while his brother, the Pope
did some ritualistic stuff. Over the weekend. Whatever he was
in it, I don't know what he was tomb of somebody. Yeah,
I'm mcatholic, I should know. It's like it's like here's
the Pope and his white and his little disciples, his people,
you know, he the Pope as people, and then behind
him is his brother in like a like a checkered
(01:22):
plaid shirt and just sitting there. My god, right, what
is going on? His two brothers are on like a
press tour of their own. Have you seen them? They're
both on a tour. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
They used to make fun of him. I don't know
if you guys talked about this on Friday.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
No, they push him down the stairs, his older brother,
that'll get him. He was dressed as the pope. Our
current pope was little and played pope.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
Yeah, he played he Yeah, the whole time he was
a little kid, all he wanted to be.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Was the Pope. So he knew, like, whoa, this kid
is special.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
But they tease him, going, you'll never be the Pope,
You'll never be the Pope.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Which was a pretty safe bat because he was American,
so you know, they were ahead of their time. They
knew something. But no, huh uh. Take that back.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
His brother's like a going to hell now because I
told the pope like, you'll never be pope.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
Look at him now, that's nuts, Vegas flex that's nuts.
I can't imagine because he apparently didn't think he had
any shot and then you know, forty eight hours later
he's the Pope. I wonder where that hits you, Like,
you went from being a big deal in the Catholic church.
You're just but you're a relatively normal guy from Chicago.
He lived in Peru whatever else. But but then now
(02:23):
you're I mean, how many days would it take for
me to be like, oh my gosh, gosh, I'm the Pope.
I can't imagine waiting by the phone. He's new And
next wey to somebody get ghosted. Seven point fifty a
tiebreaker in the Showdown. Five pop Culture Questions Esthetician Carisa
back for another one, and the Entertainment Report This hour,
What's in there? K what you expect from Diddy with
(02:45):
the trial today?
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Also Morgan Wallan talking about the possible Tate mccraig lab
also SNL also.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
SNL Okay, good, Oh that's coming up? Fred Show ever
been waiting by the phone? It's the Fred Show, Dakota,
Welcome to the program. How are you. I'm good, how
you guys doing doing? Okay? What's going on with this woman?
Vanessa on waiting by the phone. You feel like you're
(03:14):
being ghosted? Tell us kind of about how you met,
any dates you've been on, and where things are now.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Yeah, yeah, I mean exactly right, right, like we feel
like I'm being ghosted.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
We met on bumble week.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Sin's numbered pretty quick, first date, really great, right, amazing
things where things are really promising. We were already planning
our second date and Lynn like out of nowhere, just like.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Just nothing, all right. So that's always frustrating. I mean
we hear it all the time, is you have one
impression of the date, and even on the date, you're
talking about future plans, except then once the date's over
and you guys go your separate ways. Now you can't
get a hold of this person, and you're like, wait
a minute. We talked about another date and I thought
it went well, So what happened? And you start kind
of beating yourself up and you want at least the closure, right, Yeah,
(04:02):
And to be fair.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
We talked about plans for a second date after the
first date ended, So it's not like it's not like
that was just that night, Like the conversation continued, like
I thought, I really thought we were going places.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Okay, all right, well let's I'm gonna play a song.
Come back in a couple of minutes. Were going to
call Vanessa. You'll be on the phone at the same time, Dakota,
And the hope is that we can figure out what's
going on, straighten it all out, set you guys up
on in this case, that second date, and pay for it.
All right, amazing, Thank you very much. Let's see what's
going on? Part two of waiting at the phone. After
this song The Weekend, Cry for me back in two minutes,
Fred's Show, The Weekend, The Fred Show is on. Hey Tocody, Yeah,
(04:40):
all right, welcome back. Let's call this woman Vanessa, who
you met on Bumble You guys exchange numberies. You went
in a great date, you felt like everything was going well,
things were very promising, you were even planning a second date,
and then now you're being ghosted. You feel like you
can't get a hold of right now. So we go
from a good date and plans for a second date, nothing,
(05:00):
And you want to know why yeah, exactly. All right,
let's call Vanessa now, good luck Dakota. All right, thanks? Hello,
Hi is this Vanessa? Hey Vanessa, good morning. My name
is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred's Show, the morning
(05:21):
radio show. The whole crew is here, and I do
have to tell you that we are cool. Oh okay,
so well let me finish here, just to get this
out of the way. We are on the radio, and
I would need your permission to continue with the call.
Can which have for just a second?
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Okay? Perfect? Well this is a very agreeable person. Thank you.
We're calling up. We have a guy named Dakota who
you met on bub and you went out with Dakota recently.
Do you remember him?
Speaker 4 (05:43):
Uh huh?
Speaker 1 (05:44):
Okay, Well, he called us, Vanessa, and he told us
that he thought that your date was really successful and
he was excited to see you again, that you were
talking about a second date. And now he can't get
a hold of you. So what changed.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
Well, he's crazy, first of all, but yeah, he's also right.
We did have a great date, like that was fun
and you know, and we were like talking and texting
and you know, I was pretty excited about him until
he showed up at my house.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Wait excuse me?
Speaker 4 (06:13):
Yeah, so.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
Like you didn't you didn't want him there.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
Yeah, like the next weekend after we had had a
date everything, so I was doing errands and then I
hang out with some friends, like they came over and yeah,
it was just a busy day and I wasn't like
checking in my phone once I was at home, and
then I got this random knock on my door and
it was Dakota and he was just like, oh, you're
(06:39):
not answering your phone.
Speaker 1 (06:42):
Like, okay, had you given did he pick you up
previously or does he live nearby?
Speaker 4 (06:47):
Or like, oh he got my address from when he
had called me an uber to give me to get
me rif home after a date.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Okay, so you he was like, let me get you
an uber and then he gave you his phone or
he typed it in or somebody Okay, so he typed
it in and then he so you didn't answer the
phone in a in a or get back to him
in a fast enough fashion, So then he just decides
to look in the uber at for your address and
then show up at your house.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
Yeah, and he also was like, oh, who's over there?
Any guys here? Like the cars out front.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
It was some weirdo stuff. There's some big time weirdo stuff.
You can't do that, now, No, you can't do that.
I forgot to mention the Dakota. Now I gotta get
I gotta get Dakota on the line. I got to
be completely transparent here because that's some weird stuff. Dakota
is here, Dakota. Yeah, Womi game. Yeah. We don't show
(07:43):
the people's houses uninvited. We don't do we don't. Like
I wasn't.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
She wasn't answering anymore after everything had gone well, so
I wanted to make sure she was okay.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
Like I was.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
I was doing like a like a health check. I
wasn't trying to stock you're.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Doing a wellness check. That's so nice of you. Yeah,
she has every right not to respond to you in
whatever period of time she wants to without you showing
up at her house. That's not that's not why she
She didn't put the address in there for you to
show up. She put the address in there for her
to get home totally.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
And I wasn't. I wasn't like planning on showing up
like I figured we'd like get it. And actually, at
some point anyway. But like when I didn't hear anything
from her, I was really worried that's something on her.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
I don't think that's for you to have to worry about.
I mean, like this one date, I'm sure she's okay.
You know, I don't have to get a newspaper or
something turn on the dateline. I don't know. I mean, like,
you don't just show up at people's houses uninvited. I
don't know if you do that really kind of ever, honestly,
And then for you to did you really show up
there and then ask if there were any guys there,
(08:44):
like that to me is not giving the joke.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Yeah, no, that was just yeah. I was being like
like ha ha, funny, Like I wasn't.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Like whatever, that's not giving I'm checking on your well being.
That's I'm checking up on you, which is not cool.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
I mean no, like that's but that's not what I
was doing. Like I really was just just trying to
make sure she was okay, Like that's that's that's something
that like good people do you check on people with
like here with.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Yeah, he's a good guy. Doesn't sound like it, Vanessa,
are you buying any of this that he you know
he had good intentions.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
It was only not defending myself because you guys are
doing it for me. So he's clearly crazy and creepy.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
So yeah, crazy, I'm a concerned person, Like I liked
you and I thought we were vibing, and I wanted
to make sure you were. Okay, that's not that's not
crazy person behavior. That's like carrying person behavior.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
Okay, but no normal does that.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
But yeah, if in fact that was your intention, it
doesn't give that because she didn't give you her address
for the purpose of you coming over. It's a very
important distinction. You know. It wasn't like, hey, you can
stop buying any time you want. It wasn't like there
was a mass murderer in the neighborhood, you know what
I mean, Like you, you may be you may be
the mass murder I don't know, But like you can't
(10:01):
just show up at people's houses I don't even know.
I mean, there are people I've dated, whose addresses I have,
whose whose homes I've been to. I still don't go
over there and just knock on the door. Like it's
just not it's just not cool. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
I mean, my my whole family like is like we've
always grown up just kind of dropping by each other's houses, like.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
Your family, that's not and even my family sometimes I
think would probably not answer the door. Finally, so I don't.
I don't. You can't just show up at people's houses uninvited.
That you can't do that, and especially this is creepy,
Like she did not give you her address with the
purpose of you having it to come over there. She
gave me that. Well, do you right? Right? Right?
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Yeah, of course I do.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Like I didn't.
Speaker 2 (10:42):
That's why I didn't go there like the next day
and just like, hey, let's have a second date. No,
like when I hadn't hurt for her for a while,
Like that's when I was like concerned that something was wrong.
I know, you guys are totally miserying, the total misery
all of us are.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
Everybody in putting Vanessa. Vanessa looks, hey, Vanessa, we got
this all wrong. I'll just ask the question, then, would
you like to go out with him again? He had
good intentions, he says, no, not interested. Okay, not going
to happen, So look to quota. My thing to you is,
even if you do have good intentions, never do that again.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Please Okay, I mean, I think you guys are wrong,
but sure.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Okay, Okay, he's going to do it again, so that's right,
all right, Well, Vanessa, thank you for answering for your time, Anna, Dakota,
good for trying. Yeah, and good luck to you Dakota.
Speaker 4 (11:27):
Thanks guys.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
The Entertainer Report is next seven hundred and fifty bucks
in the Showdout of Time Breaker versus Carissa. That's next
Fread Show Calin's Entertainer Report. He is on the Fread Show.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
It is the second week of Ditty's sex trafficking trial
and there are some big milestones on the schedule today.
Jury selection is up first this morning, as there are
forty three jurors still to go through and the goal
is to pick eighteen twelve jurors and six alternates. Once
the jury is set, the trial will move on to
opening statements. Ditty's defense will focus on the fact that
(11:59):
he's simply a swing, not a criminal. They also plan
to say that the physical violence shown in that surveillance
video with Zex Cassie went both ways. There are three
witnesses at least said to be called by the prosecution
this week, one of which is Cassie, although we have
been hearing that one of them not Cassie, another one
going by victim number three, is currently unreachable and may
(12:21):
not testify. I don't know if they're ghosting or what's
going on with that. That witness was expected to provide
pivotal testimony about the alleged decades long abuse by Diddy.
He of course, has pled not guilty to all charges,
gave up all of his chances for plea deals, and
he faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted,
which is crazy to say.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
The trial is expected.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
To last like eight weeks and will not be televised
like some people were hoping. I mean, this is a
lot heavier and more delicate than like the Johnny Depp
amber Herd trial, for example. And there's people who are
trying to not go public with their identity, and I
understand that so it will not be televised.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Some people were saying, I'm skeptical of that. Is is
it a person that doesn't want to have their identity revealed,
or is it somebody who got paid to go away.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
It's interesting, right, because this does.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
Happen sometimes where people are like, you know, they go
after lass and they go after someone they well, they
go after someone because they were a victim potentially right allegedly,
and then all of a sudden, right before it's time,
they just never mind. Yeah, why never mind? Yeah, I
mean I realized it's a very hard thing to do
to come forward and brave, so they could be that,
(13:29):
but at the same time it could also be oh,
made it worth my while to go away.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
Yeah, and they were very afraid of that. This is
one of the reasons why they didn't let him out
on house arrests. They didn't want to give him access to,
you know, a lot of technology.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
And I understand why.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
It's very interesting that you would muster up all that
courage to come forward, and I'm sure it took a
lot and then become unreachable. And I also understand having
cold feet, but it does make me worried. So it'll
be very interesting. I mean, this is a music mogul,
and it's just it's a crazy time. Morgan Wallin has
finally spoken out about that abrupt departure from SNL.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
Back in March.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
He was on Caleb Presley's Sunday Conversation where he downplayed
the whole thing, saying it was a simple misunderstanding. He
explained that he followed the exact same exit route that
he used during rehearsals thinking the show had ended. That moment,
of course, gained even more attention after he exited the
show than posted on his Instagram storywriting get Me to
God's Country with a picture of his private plane, and
(14:23):
then of course everyone posted their own get Me to
God's Country by the way. Elsewhere in the interview, he
was asked about his rumored collaboration with Tate McCrae on
the song What I Want. He simply responded, I don't
even know if that Tate McCrae is her real name,
So he's playing with us, she's playing with us. We
will find out for sure the answer on Friday, though,
when he drops his thirty seven song album, thirty seven
(14:46):
song album, which is crazy. And lastly, in other country news,
Chris Stapleton's Traveler whiskey is now the official whisky of
the MLB Major League Baseball. So I have not tried
it yet, but congrats to Chris on that one. If
we have any new friends or if you're you know,

(16:28):

Were you just on the edge of your seat? Were
you nervous all weekend? I'm gonna have to play this game.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
Oh yeah, you know, I did some trivia at home,
mentally prepared, did a little massage to relax, relax my mind.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
Yeah, got the phone roller out. Yeah, I know, I know.
You right to stretch it. Kiky headed out here a
minute ago. You should see her on the phone roller.
It's crazy wonders contort herself. So seven fifty is the prize?
Another tiebreaker you've been on several times now. Twenty nine
and four is Kiki's record. Let's see if we have
another tie today? Is someone finally gonna win? And only
(17:11):
a couple of weeks left till Shelley comes back from
eternity to leave, and that means that you're off the hook,
and if there's any money left, it's yours all right,
Now here we go, Kiki. Okays, with all due respect,
you gotta go to the sound boof boof. She goes,
she can't here Okay, here we go, Chris the question.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
I don't know, why can I don't know. It's just
very like deep and I still have no idea what
we're going to find out.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
I gotta hang out. If that doesn't have anything to
do with the case, or is it just the tease.
We'll have to I guess, So I will do headlines
and the biggest stories of the day, the Entertainment Report and
fun Factor all the next or does it have anything
to do with the case at all something or if
we just have we just resorted to doing teases that
have just because they sound good. Hey baby, stay tuned.
(21:31):
I guess I will. Okay, more press show now,
