Text Obsessed to five seven, seven three nine right now
for a chance to win. A confirmation text will be
sent standard message and data rates may apply. It's all
thanks to Live Nation Friend's Biggest Stories of the day.
All right, So travelers could face more delays at major
airports nationwide because of the shortage of air traffic and
sholories we talked about yesterday. The aviation problems became as

(00:42):
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, who was once on road rules,
wasn't he I'm not saying I'm not saying anything away
from Shan Duffy. You know, whatever your politics are. Obviously
he's part of an administration that some people find this tasteful.
But Sean Duffy, I believe, was a congressman, but he
was on cast and he married a woman who was

(01:03):
I think on the same cast.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Okay, held on and she.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Was a and I want to say she was on
like Access Hollywood or something.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
He did Real World San Francis, he did.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
Seann Daffy was in Real World with Puck.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
It's looking like that Road Rules All Stars in nineteen eighty.
There it was his future wife. Rachel Campos was previously
on Real World San Francisco, not him. She was Boston though,
this is real World Boston for Duffy. Oh oh, he
was on a Real World too.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
I love Boston. Well you just said San Francisco, but
I don't think.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
She was his wife.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Oh that's right, that's right. Yeah, Yeah, she was on
with Puck.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Yeah I misspoke.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
She was on yep, and they met on anyway. But
doesn't matter. This guy was on, he was on. They
had nothing to do with the story. But I saw
Sean Duffy and I was like, oh, they had that guy.
That's But like TSA agents, air traffic and cholers are
considered essential employees and must work without pay during the impast.
Numerous airports were affected by this yesterday, including O'Hare, which
was expected to operate without a compliment of controllers. For

(02:01):
over nine hours. IF also issued a groundstop for flights
heading to Nashville due to staffing SHORTAGEESY issues as similar
to what happened on Monday at Hollywood Burbank International Airport.
I'm telling you, air traffic controllers very important and it's
a shame there. They will get paid, but they're not
getting paid now, and I'm sure that's very irritating. And

(02:21):
I kind of want those people paid, please. I kind
of want them paid. I kind of want them motivated
and incentivized. Yes, you know, I love an air traffic
controller keeping my airplane away from other airplanes. I love
that for us. And I love for them to feel valued. Yes,
I love for them to feel valued.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Throw them a pizza party asax.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
You know, it's funny. A bunch of the airline unions
have been sending food over to them and stuff because
it's like, hey, hey, we love you, we really do.
Sorry about this. It's not our fault. We didn't do it.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
We should all yeah, do it go fund me like
I want to pay them. I do. I want to
be saved. I want all those three I fly this weekend.
I want them to be saved.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Well, I mean they're gonna do the best job they
can because they all have integrity and take pride in
their jobs.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
If I'm disgruntled, I'm not doing as good at work.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
I've been doing it for years, So I've been successfully
disgruntled and getting it on, you know, getting it on
successfully here for years. Yeah it's fine, But anyway, shout
out to your traffic enjoy I feel like they're unsung heroes.
We don't think. You don't think about it. You get
in the plane and you just go, and you just
assume it's going to be safe. And and yet here
these folks are doing their job without getting paid. So

(03:26):
hopefully we get this whole thing settled quickly. Will at
HUM looked at the one hundred most populated US cities
using thirty metrics across four main categories, cost of ownership
and maintenance, traffic and infrastructure, quality of local roads, access
to maintains BAA bore. The best cities to drive in
Number one Corpus Christi, Texas and Greensboro, North Carolina. Boise, Scottsdale,

(03:48):
which I'm from there and I don't know about that.
A lot of traffic, Laredo, Lubbock, Birmingham, Alabama, plane O,
Austin and Winston and Salem, North Carolina the worst. This
is the list you want to hear. The worst city
in which to drive Baltimore, San Jose, La Detroit, San Francisco, Chicago,
New York, which is last in traffic and infrastructure, DC Oakland, California,

(04:11):
which is the last in cost of ownership in maintenance category,
and then Philadelphia. So a lot of big cities did
Trustan is not on there. Austin is on the best.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Okay, first of all, Austin when it was built was
not built to withstand the amount of people that are there.
Their rush hour is awful. This list Atlanta.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
No. I lived in Austin like twenty years ago, and
they moved the airport from the city to like an
old air Force base which was way far away from
the city, and they forgot to build a road to it.
I'm dead serious. So like there was like a two
lane dirt dirt road to the airport, I believe, and
then they were like, oh, we should build a highway
to that thing, which they just finished a couple of
years ago. And I lived there twenty years ago. But yeah,

(04:49):
it was like they were driving on like access roads
next to a highway they were building to the airport
while they were also like trying to make this one
of the you know, hottest cities in the country. Was like, man,
we've got this big airport, bunch of runways out there.
We should turn that into the airport. Great idea, mayor
make it the airport. Great. How are we going to
get there?

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Right, No idea, We're going to ride a horse?

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Yeah. So, but apparently down they're one of the best.
I'm not sure. California has banned loud commercials on Netflix,
Hulu and other streaming services, which I think they did
on TV years ago. I didn't realize this was a problem.
But Governor Gavin Newsom he says that he's going to
require commercial audio to match the volume level of the

(05:31):
content that they accompany, so no jarring spikes in the audio.
The law takes effect on July first of twenty twenty six,
giving streaming platforms time to adjust. The law is modeled
after the Calmact, which was from twenty ten, a federal
law that already governs ad loudness for broadcasting cable TV,
but until now streamers were exempt. Because many major streaming

(05:51):
platforms are headquartered in California. This law could influence national
practices for ad volume regulation on streaming services. NBA superstarlar
On James made everybody mad. He's facing backlash after HIPing
in announcement as a major sequel to his bombshell twenty
ten decision to join the Miami Heat. The Lakers star
had fans speculating that he was retiring when he teased

(06:12):
the second decision. Instead, Lebron was attempting to generate buzz
for Hennessy. Who couldn't see that coming, right, I mean,
just I came first of all the first decision. If
you don't remember this, I think he was on the Cavaliers.
I could be getting this wrong. And then he said,
I had a big press conference in a gym, and
I'm going to announce my decision, and I think it

(06:34):
was on ESPN. And then he basically dropped the bomb
on everybody without telling anyone from anywhere. Hey, I'm not
gonna be I'm leaving my hometown to go to Miami.
I'm taking my talents to Miami. That's where that line
came from. And it made everybody mad because it was like,
how arrogant of you? And then you know, fans were
left blindsided and this whole thing. He was never going
to do that again, so I don't know why. And

(06:56):
then people are mad because, oh well, I went and
bought eighty dollars Lakers to gets for five hundred bucks
because I want to see his final season. And then
he scammed me. He didn't scam you, He didn't scam you.
But like it's kind of a I don't know, it's
kind of cheesy. It was kind of dumb, but like,
I don't know why everyone's mad at him. This is
so this is such a lebron thing to do.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Give the bag, doesn't Did you say this? Tom Brady?
He does it like he literally teases us all the time.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
I'm coming back and playing again. It's flag football.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
No it's not.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
I'm on the air. I'm there. I'm on this team.
It's like, girl, just pick it.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
He's just polarizing and people don't like him, and that
decision thing was not well thought out, and I think
the people are just triggered by it. But whatever, by
everything right on. TikTok is this for you, Keith, Here
we go. TikTok is designed to be compellingly habit forming,
using personalized algorithms to keep users swiping and watching. A

(07:49):
key statistic, watching two hundred and sixty videos, which takes
about thirty five minutes, is enough to form an habitual
pattern of app use. After just one week of use,
users daily watch time tends to grow about forty percent
on average. This is true. I went from not being
a TikTok guy to TikTok is a part of my
daily life.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Yes it is.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Yes, No, don't smile. I don't like it. Family, you
don't feel happier, You don't feel better, I don't. I
really could use that time back to do what to
do important things right else? Do you know what I
was like? I was off the Legos for a while
until I impulse spot yesterday two days ago Lego game
Boy that I assembled, and it's dope. I don't want

(08:31):
to hear about it anymore. Consequences include reduced self control kiking,
increased compulsive use kiking, losing track of time kiki, and
using TikTok even in social settings. I will say, you
are wildly productive for the amount of time that you
spend on TikTok. Thank you your ability to watch TikTok
while making a TikTok and editing a TikTok is incredible.

(08:52):
Thank you, it really is. So maybe you're learning to multitask.
I'm not sure, and had two more stories for you.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been find for giving a
fan the finger, so they find him two hundred and
fifty grand for making an obscene gesture toward New York
Jets fans at MetLife Stadium. He says that it was inadvertent,

(09:13):
and then he meant to give a thumbs up to
Cowboys fans in celebration. I can see how this and
this are confused series right, please this, I can totally
see how you meant this, But you did that to me.
I'm driving all the time. I meant to say, way
to cut me off with this right here, but instead
I did this. It's crazy.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Listen at the Lions game this weekend. I might mess up.
You know, I'm gonna tailgate and I won't know what
finger to find.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
I meant this to the other team this, but this
something's happened. It's crazy Networks. He's appealing to Fine, I guess,
and I think it was was it Netflix? I may
have already promoted this or disgusted. But there's a documentary
about him, and I don't like the Cowboys, but I
liked the documentary. He is a fascinating man and how
he came, you know, to bet on everything to buy

(09:59):
the Cowboys and then to it into what it is.
You can say that the guy you know is an
idiot for one and complete and total control over the thing.
And Cowboys fans will tell you that the reason they
don't haven't won a super Bowl and so long is
because of him. But the reason that they did win
Super Bowl was also because of well of various things.
But anyway, he's a fascinating guy. So if you're all
inclined to like sports, you should watch. It's on Netflix.

(10:20):
I forget what it's called, but it was pretty good.
And just minutes after a medical helicopter crashed into a
California highway, the fire captain in Sacramento found himself directing
an impromptu response team of fifteen drivers to physically lift
a helicopter the wreckage off of a paramedic that was
trapped underneath. And they were able to do it, so

(10:41):
he said, a bunch of a guy there car they
saw this thing that the helicopter had some mechanical issue,
landed on the highway, and out of instinct, the people
were there willing to help, and they didn't hesitate and
followed my exact command, said the fire chief, and we
were able to lift the helicopter with ease and potentially
save some people's lives, which is amazing. Yes, you're just

(11:02):
driving by, and you know, you want to believe people
would get out and help. But like you hear about
these things where people are able to lift cars because
they're adrenaline and like this sort of I don't know,
something befalls them and they have this superhuman strength to
save people's lives. And I thought that was an incredible story.
It's National Parogi Day. Where the parogi? It's your job
on my anniversary, it's your job anniversary. No, but where

(11:27):
the parogi? Yeah that too, but where the get in?
The Kigeon's National Hero Day. Yes, I want the Mexican
guy to make me not to have polish Lady, where's Marta?
Get Marta up here with some immediately, she knows where
to get the most authentic ones. Whatever. Absolutely, It's National
Hero Day, National Curves Day, National take your parents to

(11:49):
Lunch Day, National Stop Bullying Day, and National Emergency Nurses Day.
And for those who don't know, a parogi is like
a little, uh, little pastry kind of thing. Okay, why
does that fall into a pay street category? Anyway? Patriot
thought was like, sweet, no, well I parogi? Sweet No,
you're thinking of punch k Oh, what's it? Oh? Parogi
is the one that's like a pasta.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
It's like a little dumpling, uh, with like little cheese
or meat inside potato.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
Is there a sauce?

Speaker 2 (12:14):
You can make a sauce if youreur cre Oh no,
look it up.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
I was excited about punch g
