Speaker 1 (00:52):
Someone save Jason.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
He's in his bathroom far far away, right, that's true.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
No, I don't know if it's that I talked to
him yesterday. I just think it's maybe like a cold,
allergy's COVID. I don't know what's going on. He probably
has COVID and then who knows.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Yeah, it's it's the time where.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Everybody gets sick either not Yes, maybe he's run down,

to him was, why don't you take a couple of days.
I want to take a couple of days off and
not write any emails and not answer any phone calls
and just refresh, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Yes, I don't think he can do it.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
I don't think he can, but at least he took
my advice on not coming in today. Hi Paulina, Hey,

(01:54):
Shelley new waiting? Metaphone? Why does somebody get ghosted? This hour? Blogs,
the Entertainment Report and headline what are you working on?
Speaker 4 (02:00):
K Well, I'm going to defend someone that I actually
don't like, so that's going to be an interesting thing. Also,
you guys, it may be time to worry about Dolly Parton.
Oh I know, I'm freaking out, Like I'm actually freaking out.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
So I'll tell you what her sister had to say.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
Oh no, yeah, so just just keep wearing his socks.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
I'll freak out.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Cam Newton, you know what to say?
Speaker 2 (02:27):
What to say about Cam Newton? I so, Cam Newton
a former NFL quarterback, and you know, now he's just
wearing he's he's wearing hats a lot. He's wearing hats,
and he's wearing things around his neck, always something around
his neck, and like, I don't know, I would feel
very confined with so many things tied around my neck.
(02:49):
And as Scott you know, he loves to scarf, you know,
something around his neck.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
It's always giving like mister Monopoly in some way, Like
I feel like he has one of those like one
eyeglasses on sometimes, you.
Speaker 5 (02:59):
Know, like what.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
He probably owns a Monica.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
I feel like he wears like old timey accessories.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
Was he the one who like said to that sports
reporter like, hold on, it's really cute to.
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Hear you talk about plays.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
I think he did say that.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Okay, I don't want to misquote Cam the Legend Cam Newton,
but I agree. I feel like maybe he said something
like that. But here he is with his latest hot take.
Cam Newton explains to uh someone on a podcast, Parker McKenna.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Why, of course he asked.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
His girlfriend Jasmine Brown for a list of all of
her previous partners before their relationship.
Speaker 6 (03:38):
Really, I wanted to know her list of who I
need I want to know. I needed to know, Oh
my god. And I'm gonna tell you why though. I
want to know because before I sit up here.
Speaker 7 (03:53):
And really keep moving and elevating our relationship, I want
to know who got one up on me.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
And if I'm willing.
Speaker 6 (04:02):
To take on that burden, Because.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Why, I want to know if you had any.
Speaker 7 (04:09):
Type of relationship intimacy experiences with people that I really know.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
I need to know that I'm old, That.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Says says the guy who has many kids as he am,
and not all from the same person, right, I mean
like eight kids. I don't know how many different partners
he said he does, three different people? Okay, well whatever,
which which who cares?
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Right?
Speaker 2 (04:36):
But I mean, you know you you are a guy
who I mean, does he have to give a list
of all the people that he's been with ectly.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
The only thing I will say.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
About this in I'm not gonna say the defense because
they really I don't I'm not defending him, but I
guess in Hollywood, where he considers himself, in Hollywood famous,
you know, sports, sports, whatever you want to say, it's
a pretty tight circle. And these people tend to date
the same kind of not the same kind of people,
but the same people.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
But some of these people float around a little bit.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
They've dated other NFL players, other NBA players, depending on
you know, sort of what you're going for. There are
some people who will this isn't my opinion, and people
brag about this, I've been with this many NFL players
and this many NBA players or whatever. I'm not saying
she's one of those people. I don't know anything about her,
but I mean, I guess it would be helpful to
know if she's dated a teammate or a friend or
(05:26):
something like that, you know, if we're all keeping it
in the family here, I mean, I might like to
know that, Like if I don't know if you've dated
five other radio people, you know, and now if you're
a radio girl, which nobody is. Nobody's out here trying
to date a radio personality, nobody for a lot of
different reasons.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
You guys used to get it thrown at you.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
There is no one throwing anything in me.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
And is scary, But you guys used to get.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
Throw one's throwing anything at the hottest girls. Yeah, we
get like, you don't have to.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
We cannot reminisce about the time when radio people were
considered famous.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
It's fine.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
It's fine that we're not any because you guys are
the same, So it's fine.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
There were radio groupies though, shout out back in the day.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
It was fine.
Speaker 3 (06:10):
They wanted to get in here, you know with the
late night show.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Maybe did a little little you know, when they were
plenty of late night people, myself included.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Back in the day.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
It took Oh, I know, plenty of advantage of that
hot girl check in.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
You already know.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
But I would say that actually being on the radio
has has driven more people away today than it has.
You're gonna talk about me on the radio. He talks
about people on the radio. I don't but plenty of
that going on. But anyway, would you guys, do you
guys think that you're entitled. Here's the question eight five
five five three five and contact the same number. Do
(06:51):
you guys think that you are entitled to any context
about who the person who you're now with was with
before you? And, like I said, where I was getting
with the other point is that it's a relatively small world,
so it might be. I mean, look, if you dated
other people that I know really well, I would probably
like to know that, just so that to his point,
and not probably coming from the same place he is,
(07:13):
But to his point, I just don't want to be
the only guy in the room at the SP's because
I'm always at the SP's, But I don't want to
be the only guy in the room at the Radio
Hall of Fame. Okay, who doesn't know that that my
wife or girlfriend dated a bunch of other people there,
And so again, no one did anything wrong here. You're
a lot of to date whoever you want. If your
list is to you know, volumists, then know you shouldn't
(07:35):
be judged for that. Like if I like you and
I want to date you and you're good to me
and whatever, fine, no judgment. But do you believe that
you have a right to know any like how many who?
And then does it depend on whether you ever have
a chance of running into them or not? Like for example,
you know, even you could remove the NFL and being
famous for this. Like let's say you grew up in
(07:57):
a neighborhood and you marry somebody who grew up in
the same neighborhood, and so you know, and you're gonna
stay in that neighborhood. So maybe there's a good chance
you go to the grocery store and even though it
was ten years ago and everyone's moved on that, you know,
your husband dated so and so, who's now you know,
shopping for comquats right next to you? And and do
you have a right to know that or or is
it just hey, a life as it comes up, then
(08:19):
I can be like, yeah, I used to date her,
you know, or whatever, because I suppose if you laid
this whole out ahead of time, there's a good chance
that somebody would disqualify you before you ever got to
know them, because it's like, oh, you dated her, I
don't like her, I don't want to be with you.
Now you could argue that's not the right person for you.
But still, like, sometimes too much information is too much information, yeah.
Speaker 8 (08:36):
But not enough information is not enough information, And I
don't need to be sitting down eating mistake nuggets with
the lady that you smashed before.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Yeah, because most of Big Tim's ladies also eated Armies.
Arb Armies is a hotspot for.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
For all of big Where is like where is Arby's?
I kind of love Arby's, to be honest, really, I
can't if I there enough.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
The Army's roast beef sandwiches is elite on it it is,
but no, maybe there should be more.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
I'm not sure.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
But then again, they're serving now like like wedges of meat,
like that's that's what't even come down to. They do
say they got the meat. That's what they say. They
are doing what they said they were going to do.
But basically now it's like what chunk of meat would
you like when you go to and then we'll put
it on bread if you want, or we'll put it
on top of mac and chees what you want, or
we'll put on type of fries if you want, or
(09:29):
you can make it yourself. However do you so you
say yes? So you know everybody who Big Tim was
with before.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
You probably don't know everybody.
Speaker 8 (09:37):
But I know if we're in the same type of circle,
like I know if I know the girl, like if
I know her, I need to know if you smashed.
If I've never heard of this person, I don't really care.
But to Cam's point, yes, if we are going to
be running in the same circles, sitting at the same
dinner tables, attending the same events, it would be nice
to know.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
I hope he's providing the same transparency. Something tells me
he may or may not be.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
Just a so many woman in his vicinity if I
was his girlfriend.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Do you think that?
Speaker 2 (10:06):
You do? You think you should know a complete rundown
of who you're with was with before you?
Speaker 3 (10:15):
No, I don't. I don't think I need to know
if like I.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
Could be in a room with someone that you hooked
up with or vice versa, like shopping for kumquots I think.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Was your example.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
Yeah, I don't mind that, Like if it was like
my friend or my sister, like, you should probably let me.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
Know about that.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
But I I'm a weirdo because I have had the
conversation in past relationships, like the how many conversation, and
it does not bother me for a single second. I
could not care less how many people you have been with.
It does not bother me at all. I don't care
if it's five hundred. I really don't.
Speaker 1 (10:51):
The number doesn't bother me.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
I suppose maybe some of the particulars would that bothered me,
but I don't know. I'm mixed on this, Like sometimes it's.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
Like, what do you mean particulars?
Speaker 2 (11:00):
Like like who, well do this? Because I might be like, oh,
really you did that? Really that you can't?
Speaker 3 (11:06):
You can't handle that. I can tell you that.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Because you think I look like that, you know what
I mean?
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Like you don't really, so yeah, yeah, that's you know,
And I started thinking about it's not an insecurity.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
I just start thinking about it too much. It's too much.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
But then again, I don't want to be the only
person in the room who doesn't know, so I can't
win on this one.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
Ignorance is bliss and that's suiture. You'll never know, so like,
who really cares?
Speaker 1 (11:30):
This is funny?
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Someone texted, I mean I don't want names or addresses.
I'd probably want a body count. And then Bella said, hey,
we're gonna call you. And then she said normally yes,
but my daughters are in the car never mind well speaking.
Speaker 3 (11:40):
Code, Yeah, right, say friends, how many friends have.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Been together for thirteen years? Married for seven? My answer
is no, I don't need to know, and I'm not entitled. Yes,
need to know who you smashed in your circle of friends?
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Yeah, I guess it would. Proximity is really important, That's
what I'm saying, right.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Like if you hooked up with so and so, and
I'm never going to meet them and I never will
know them or come in contact with them, Okay, fine,
Now the only time that could be a problem is
like if you, I don't know, got went to Cancun
and hooked up with some like awful celebrity on spring
break or something, and then I just can't get that
out of my head, Like like you know, I'm to
think of somebody who like is very distasteful now and
(12:20):
you're like, you hooked up and again it's context, like
you hooked up with that person then for whatever reason,
in whatever state of mind you were in, in whatever
level of maturity. But like then, every time I watch TV,
I gotta see this jerky and know that he knows
about my wife, my girlfriend. Like again, so I am
I am a hippop, I'm a hypocrite. I'm conflicted because
part of me wants this information and part of me
(12:41):
does it because I don't know what I'm gonna do
with it.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
I'm gonna just think about it.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
Yeah, I light to you. Yeah, well, not lying, you know.
I don't believe any of that malarkey either. Hey, Ellen, Ellen.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
You want to know. You want to know if.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Somebody who if you're with, hooked up with someone in
your group of friends. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (13:02):
I mean my husband grew up on the South Side
and he has the exact same group of friends from
high school, grade school. I lived far away. We're never
going to run into any of my people. But yeah,
I do want to know, and I do know, and
it makes me much more comfortable.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
It does. I think it's fair if there's going to
be regular contact, I think it's fair.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Now I would be more worried.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
I will know about any kind of lingering, emotional feeling
about it, or kind of the nature of the relationship,
like if you did. I wouldn't love being in the
same room with someone who'd like just stuck and moved
like you guys just hooked it up one time and whatever.
I wouldn't love that because they were great, you know
what I know, But I'd be more concerned with Yeah,
I was in love with him and he dumped me,
because then the way is well that you didn't even
(13:44):
so are there are there lingering feelings? Like you didn't
you didn't get the close, you didn't get closure on that.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
See.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
You know what's funny, like if you're if your husband
or a boyfriend or whatever still good friends with people
like that. I mean, I just think that lends the
character or too, Like he's good friends with somebody who slappish.
I see her, she knows I know, no lingering feelings
and I don't know.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (14:09):
You gotta work through that.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Yeah, No, there are a lot of variables here, Ellen,
thank you, have a good day.
Speaker 5 (14:13):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
A lot of people are just saying no, well it's
yes or no way. I guess it is a yes
or no thing. But like for me, it's kind of
mixed because I just don't know. And then someone else
made a good point, well what do you do with
that information? And that's the problem I have. I don't
really know what I would do with that information.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
So if you say you would be open to the
number conversation, but not knowing who what would be a
number that you'd be comfortable with.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
I don't know that I care about the number, okay,
but some people do. I mean, because then you could
start get to get into this, like if you've been
with the five hundred people, it's like, whoa, Now we're
a busy lady, you know, like we haven't been along
that I live that long. So like, what was the
thought process there exactly?
Speaker 1 (14:48):
You know? I don't know. I mean, people could get
really judged judge though.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
But I look, I I could give you the thumb
drive with the inventory of what I've been doing, what
I did up until about now, and it would take
you quite a while to go through the deck. But but
but I wouldn't want to be judged on that because
I I don't have the same mentality.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
I don't look at it the same way. I don't
necessarily regret my past. I've been single my whole life.
I didn't cheat anybody, I didn't do anything wrong. I
was I was ethnical, I was honest. Technically, yes, no,
I was. I would actually not not your bs, I
was actually single, you were, No, I actually was not
dating anyone like or in a relationship when I was
out here with the Shenanigans, and when I was dating
(15:29):
somebody I wasn't. I wasn't doing stuff I wasn't supposed
to be doing. I don't know, but I wouldn't want
someone now to say, oh, Wow, in your twenties you
did this, or in your thirties you did that, and
then and then disqualify me now because because I don't
think that that means anything about the way that I
would look at something moving forward. I don't think it
meant anything then, like if i'd met, you know, the
(15:49):
right person that I stopped the Shenanigans and and date
the right person, I don't know. Yeah, I just said,
this is not there's there's no consensus on this. Some
people can handle the information. Some people can and that's
all there is to its biggest stories of the day.
So travelers could face more delays at major airports nationwide
because of the shortage of very traffic and chlories we
(16:11):
talked about yesterday.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
The aviation problems.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Came his Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, who was once on
road rules, wasn't he I'm not saying I'm not saying
anything away from Sean Duffy, you know, whatever your politics are.
Obviously he's part of an administration that some people find
just tasteful. But Sean Duffy, I believe, was a congressman.
But he was on Roads and he married a woman
(16:34):
who was I think on the same cast.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
Okay, held on and she was.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
A and I want to say she was on like
Access Hollywood or something.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
He did Real World San Francis didn't.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
He did.
Speaker 2 (16:44):
Shan Daffy was in Real World with Puck.
Speaker 4 (16:48):
It's looking like that Road Rules All Stars in nineteen
eighty there was lad His future wife, Rachel Campos was
previously on Real World San Francisco. Him she's Boston though
this his Real World Boston for Oh oh, he was
on a Real World too.
Speaker 3 (17:02):
I love Buster.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Well you just said San Francisco, but I don't think.
Speaker 3 (17:04):
She was his wife.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Oh that's right, that's right. Yeah, Yeah, she was on
with Puck.
Speaker 3 (17:09):
Yeah I misspoke.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
She was on yep, and they met on anyway, But
doesn't matter. This guy was on, he was on. They
had nothing to do with the story. But I saw
Sean Duffy and I was like, oh, they have that guy's,
but like TSA agent's, air traffic controllers are considered essential
employees and must work without paid during the impast. Numerous
airports were affected by this yesterday, including O'Hare, which was
expected to operate without a full complement of controllers for
(17:33):
over nine hours. The IFA also issued a groundstop for
flights heading to Nashville due to staffing SHORTAGEESY issues as
similar to what happened on Monday at Hollywood Burbank International Airport.
I'm telling you, air traffic controllers very important and it's
a shame there. They will get paid, but they're not
getting paid now, and I'm sure that's very irritating, and
(17:53):
I kind of want those people paid, please, I kind
of want them paid. I kind of want them motivated
and incentivized. Yes, you know, I love an air traffic
controller keeping my airplane away from other airplanes. I love
that for us, and I love for them to feel valued. Yes,
I love for them to feel valued.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
Throw them a pizza party, asa.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
You know it's funny.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
A bunch of the airline unions have been sending food
over to them and stuff because it's like, hey, hey,
we love you.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
We really do. Sorry about this. It's not our fault.
We didn't do it. We should all.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Yeah, do it go fund me like I want to
pay them. I do. I want to be safe. I
want all I'm flying this weekend. I want them to
be saved.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Well, I mean, they're gonna do the best job they
can because they all have integrity and and take pride
in their job.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
If I'm disgruntled, I'm not doing as good at work.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
I've been doing it for years.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
So I've been successfully disgruntled them and getting it on,
you know, getting it on successfully here for years. Yeah,
it's fine, But anyway, shout out to air traffic controlers.
I feel like they're unsung heroes. We don't think. You
don't think about it. You get in the plane and
you just go and and you just assume it's going
to be safe. And and yet here these folks are
doing their job without getting paid. So hopefully we get
(18:58):
this whole thing settled quickly. Wallehum looked at the one
hundred most populated US cities using thirty metrics across four
main categories, cost of ownership and maintenance, traffic and infrastructure,
quality of local roads, access to maintas BLA BA blah blah.
Are the best cities to drive in Number one Corpus Christi,
Texas and Greensboro, North Carolina, Boise, Scottsdale, which I'm from
(19:21):
there and I don't know about that, a lot of traffic, Laredo, Lubbock, Birmingham, Alabama, Plano, Austin,
and Winston is Salem, North Carolina the worst.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
This is the list you want to hear.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
The worst cities in which to drive Baltimore, San Jose,
La Detroit, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, which is last
in traffic and infrastructure, d C Oakland, California, which is
the last in cost of ownership in maintenance category, and
then Philadelphia.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
So a lot of big cities did.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
Tristan is not on there.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Austin is on the best.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
Okay, First of all, Austin when it was built was
not built to withstand the amount of people that are there.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
Their rush hour is awful. This list atlant In.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Austin like twenty years ago, and they moved the airport
from the city to like an old Air Force base
which was way far away from the city, and they
forgot to build a road to it.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
I'm dead serious.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
So like there was like a two lane dirt dirt
road to the airport, I believe, and then they were like, oh,
we should build a highway to that thing, which they
just finished a couple of years ago, and I lived
there twenty years ago. But yeah, it was like you
were driving like access roads next to a highway they
were building to the airport, while they were also like
trying to make this one of the you know, hottest
cities in the country. Was like, man, we got this
(20:32):
big airport, bunch of runways out there, we should turn
that into the airport.
Speaker 1 (20:35):
Great idea, mayor make it the airport. Great. How are
we going to get there?
Speaker 7 (20:39):
Right?
Speaker 3 (20:39):
No idea?
Speaker 1 (20:40):
We're going to ride a horse? Yeah. So, but apparently
down they're one of the best. I'm not sure.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
California has banned loud commercials on Netflix, Hulu and other
streaming services, which I think they did on TV years ago.
I didn't realize this was a problem, but Governor Gavin Newsom,
he says that he's going to require Virushaal Audio to
match the volume level of the content that they accompany,
so no jarring spikes in the audio. The law takes
(21:07):
effect on July first of twenty twenty six, giving streaming
platforms time to adjust. The law is modeled after the
Calm Act, which was from twenty ten, a federal law
that already governs ad loudness for broadcasting cable TV, but
until now streamers were exempt. Because many major streaming platforms
are headquartered in California, this law could influence national practices
(21:27):
for ad volume regulation on streaming services. NBA superstar Lebron
James made everybody mad. He's facing backlash after HIPing an
announcement as a major sequel to his bombshell twenty ten
decision to join the Miami Heat. The Lakers star had
fans speculating that he was retiring when he teased the
second decision. Instead, Lebron was attempting to generate buzz for Hennessy.
(21:49):
Who couldn't see that coming, right, I mean just came
first of all, the first decision. If you don't remember this,
I think he was on the Cavaliers. I could be
getting this wrong. And then he said, I had a
big press conference in a gym, and I'm going to
announce my decision and I think it was on ESPN,
and and then he basically dropped the bomb on everybody
(22:09):
without telling anyone from anywhere. Hey, I'm not gonna be
I'm leaving my hometown to go to Miami. I'm taking
my talents to Miami. That's where that that that line
came from. And it made everybody mad because it was like,
how arrogant of you, And then you know, fans were
left blindsided and this whole thing.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
He was never going to do that again. So I
don't know why.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
And then people are mad because, oh, well, I went
and bought eighty dollars Lakers tickets for five hundred bucks
because I want to see his final season and then
he scammed me. And he didn't scam you. He didn't
scam you. But like it's kind of a I don't know,
it's kind of cheesy. It was kind of dumb. But like,
I don't know why everyone's mad at him. This is
so this is such a lebron.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
Thing to do.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
He give the bag, doesn't? Did you say this, Tom Brady?
He does it like he literally teeses us all the time.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
I'm coming back and playing again. It's flag football. No
it's not. I'm on the air, I'm there. I'm on
this team. It's like, girl, just pick it.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
He's just polarizing and people don't like him and that
decision thing was not well thought out and I think
the people are just triggered by it. But whatever, by
everything right on TikTok is.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
This is for you, Keith, Sure, I'm right here we go.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
TikTok is designed to be compellingly habit forming, using personalized
algorithms to keep users swiping and watching. A key statistic,
watching two hundred and sixty videos, which takes about thirty
five minutes, is enough to form a habitual pattern of
app use. After just one week of use, users daily
watch time tends to grow about forty percent on average.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
This is true.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
I went from not being a TikTok guy to TikTok
is a part of my daily life.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
Yes it is.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Yes, No, don't smile. I don't like it.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Family, you don't feel happier, you don't feel better?
Speaker 1 (23:45):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (23:46):
I really could use that time back to do what
to do important things right?
Speaker 1 (23:51):
Nothing else? Do you know what I was like?
Speaker 2 (23:53):
I was off the Legos for a while until I
impulse spot yesterday two days ago. Lego game ble that
I assembled and it's dope. I don't want to hear
about it anymore. Consequences include reduced self control KIKI, increased
compulsive use KIKI, losing track of time KIKI, and using
TikTok even in social settings. I will say you are
(24:15):
wildly productive for the amount of time that you spend
on TikTok.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Thank you. Your ability to.
Speaker 2 (24:20):
Watch TikTok while making a TikTok and editing a TikTok
is incredible. Thank you, It really is. So maybe you're
learning to multitask. I'm not sure, and had two more
stories for you. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been fined
for giving a fan the finger, so they find him
two hundred and fifty grand for making an obscene gesture
(24:40):
toward New York Jets fans at MetLife Stadium. He says
that it was inadvertent, and then he meant to give
a thumbs up to Cowboys fans in celebration. I can
see how this and this are confused, right, Please this,
I can totally see how you meant this, but you did.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
That with me. I'm driving all the time.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
I meant to say way to come with this right here,
but instead I did this.
Speaker 1 (25:02):
It's crazy.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
Listen at the Lions game this weekend. I might mess up.
Speaker 4 (25:06):
You know, I'm gonna tailgate and I won't know what
finger to find.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
I meant this to the other team, but this summer's happened.
It's crazy.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Yeah, Networks, he's appealing the fine, I guess, and I
think it was.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Was it Netflix?
Speaker 2 (25:17):
I may have already promoted this or disgusted, but there's
a documentary about him. And I don't like the Cowboys,
but I liked the documentary. He is a fascinating man
and how he came, you know, to beat on everything
to buy the Cowboys and then turn it into what
it is. You can say that the guy you know
is an idiot for one and complete and total control
over the thing. And Cowboys fans will tell you that
(25:39):
the reason they don't haven't won a Super Bowl and
so long is because of him. But the reason that
they did win Super Bowl was also because of well
of various things. But anyway, he's a fascinating guy. So
if you're all inclined to like sports, you should watch.
It's on Netflix. I forget what it's called, but it
was pretty good. And just minutes after a medical helicopter
crashed into a California highway. The fire captain in Sacramento
(26:01):
found himself directing an impromptu response team of fifteen drivers
to physically lift a helicopter the wreckage off of a
paramedic that was trapped underneath. And they were able to
do it. So he said, a bunch of a guy
the car. They saw this thing that the helicopter had
some mechanical issue landing on the highway, and out of instinct,
the people were there willing to help, and they didn't
(26:23):
hesitate and followed my exact command, said the fire chief,
and we were able to lift the helicopter with ease
and potentially save some people's lives.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Wow, which is amazing.
Speaker 2 (26:33):
Yes, you're just driving by, and you know you want
to believe people would get out and help. But like
you hear about these things where people are able to
lift cars because they're adrenaline and like this sort of
I don't know, something befalls them and they have this
superhuman strength to save people's lives. And I thought that
was an incredible story. It's National Parogi Day. Where the
parogi that's your job on my anniversary, it's your job anniversary. No,
(26:58):
but where the parogi yeah, that too, but where the
get in the kitgeen? National Hero Day? Yes, I want
the Mexican guy, that not the half Polish lady. Where's Marta?
Get Marta up here with some immediately she knows where
to get the most authentic ones. Whatever. Absolutely, it's National
(27:18):
Hero Day, National Curves Day, National take your parents to
Lunch Day, National Stop Bullying Day, in National Emergency Nurses Day.
Speaker 3 (27:25):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
And for those who don't know, a parogi is like
a little, uh, little pastry kind of thing, the dumpling. Okay,
why doesn't that fall into a pastry category?
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Anyway?
Speaker 2 (27:32):
Patriot thought was like, sweet, no, well on parogi. Sweet no,
you're thinking of oh what's Oh? Parogi is the one
that's like a pasta.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
It's like a little dumpling with little meat inside potato.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Is there a sauce?
Speaker 3 (27:45):
You can make a sauce if you crea not.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
Look it up.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
I was excited about punch Cawn's entertainment report is on
the fread.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
Show Fred Was it called America's Team the Gambler and
his Cowboys. That's the one, okay, So that's the Jerry
Jones documentary. If you guys were wondering what that was
called okay. So here is what I kind of feel
like the problem is with the world today. So by
now you have probably heard based on where you're getting
your information from that Zach Bryan released some sort of
(28:16):
song that people are calling anti American, and there's a
mention of ice in this song. Right it's all over online.
Country singers like Jake Owen and John Rich have already
come for him. I believe on X one called him
a tool, YadA YadA. Even the Department of Homeland Security
has been involved, telling him to stick to Pink Skies,
which is one of his songs.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
The White House has weighed in. But here is what
actually happened.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
Months ago, Zach released a snippet of a song that
does mention ice.
Speaker 3 (28:45):
Months later, this song went viral.
Speaker 4 (28:47):
He has not released the entire song yet, and people
are reacting based on what other people are saying.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
Without the facts.
Speaker 4 (28:54):
Zach is now coming out it's actually on a story
right now to say that if you hear the full song,
it hits both sides of the and it is meant
to reflect the division in America, not to pick a side.
But he says this snippet proves that we just want
to argue about everything. By the way, Zach served our
country for eight years in the navy, so he's like,
listen the full song, you'll understand the context. I don't
(29:16):
know if he's releasing it or when, but we all
just want to be so mad, and we don't have
all the facts. And by the way, I cannot stand
Zach Bryant, so the fact that I am defending him
is even crazier. But we gotta just chill. It's okay,
It's okay. Everybody's eat, breathe, because we need to shift
our focus to Dolly Parton right now, because Dolly needs
our prayers.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (29:35):
So her younger sister, Frieda, which I did not know
that was her name. I love that, says that she
actually stayed up all night one night praying for Dolly,
saying that she isn't feeling her best lately.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
And Dolly has told us a little bit about this.
Speaker 4 (29:48):
You know, she postponed her Vegas residency citing health challenges,
saying she needs some procedures. She, of course and Dolly
fashion minimized it, joked about it. But her sister is
now asking fans to be come prayer warriors.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
For her recovery. She is feeling confident that she's gonna
be okay.
Speaker 1 (30:05):
But when a.
Speaker 3 (30:05):
Sister is up all night praying makes me a little nervous.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
Well, I guess she posted this morning like an apology
or something that she was like that she got people
too scared about it. Well you know that like it
because I read it yesterday and was like, oh my god,
she's dying, like it's over because usually when people, you know,
say stuff like that, you know, prayers and whatever like that,
I can't stand if you do that, and you don't
really need the prayers, right, And I guess we do
need the prayers. But she she issued some kind of
(30:31):
further statement saying like, oh, well, you know, like it's
sorry if I made you all like overly concerned about
her imminent the potential of her imminent death or something,
because I guess it's not that bad.
Speaker 4 (30:44):
That's a great point because she's literally saying like that,
you know, it was nothing more than my little sister,
like I'm asking for prayers.
Speaker 3 (30:51):
But it's like, you know, if you're gonna ask me
for that, I saw that.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
I'm like, she's as old as she is, and her
husband died and love of her life and then we
were canceling things and then it's oh man.
Speaker 8 (31:01):
Oh you know I'm social and asked for prayers like
it better be like she can't do anything wrong.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
But I think I think the reaction was like, oh
my gosh, we're days away or hours away, and maybe
we're not hopefully greedom.
Speaker 4 (31:11):
I still think that she's now minimizing it in my
personal opinion, because the reaction got so big.
Speaker 3 (31:16):
I don't think Dolly's on her death bet.
Speaker 4 (31:17):
I do not think that, and I don't I haven't
spoke to her in some time, but I really think
that regardless, if you're up all night praying for someone
you know, I don't think it's it's making me nervous.
Speaker 3 (31:28):
It's still making me nervous. I know she apologized.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
I think she felt very guilty for upsetting people and
upsetting fans, but I do think we just need to
keep her in our thoughts. Okay, And lastly, do I
know my girl or do I know my girl? Taylor
Swift is finally speaking about the reason that she is
not doing these Super Bowl halftime show this year, and
it is because of Travis. It is because he's still playing,
and she says it's nothing to do with him. He
(31:51):
would love her to do it, but she says she's
too quote locked in. She just it's too many variables
and it's too much for her. She says she has
a great relationship with Jay Z and Rock Nation, who
leads the super Bowl halftime show. She was asked directly
about the rumors that the media filled in the narrative
that she was too difficult they couldn't meet her demands.
Speaker 3 (32:09):
She wanted to own the footage. None of that is true.
Not a single part of that is true. So let's
just calm down again. She will do it at some point.
Speaker 4 (32:16):
I'm sure she's open to it, not while her man
is playing, and he's not playing very well at that.
So yeah, he's on my fantasy team. So pick it up, Travis.
By the way, if you want to see a what
we're wearing today, I have an outfit on that, Paulina
says her daughter has as well, you know, and a
type Fred show on YouTube and then also type the
fredschwe to man on the free iHeartRadio app if you
want to catch up on anything you missed
