music station. I got my Bible over it. It's not
a real bible. I think we had a real bible
in here that like lightning might strike, yeah and burn
the place down, But so I have. It's Jason's Bible, actually,
which is all the things I'm supposed to say and
read and make sure that I said him correctly or
else do a lipa. And it's sold out too, isn't it? Yes,
sold out to a leaf of ticket See talk back

And many years ago a Google search led me to
Aaron's farm where I was able to secure a cow
(01:28):
for Caylen to cuddle, because Caylen likes cows. She loves
cows and doesn't eat them or any you know, consume
any part of them. And so I was like, I
wonder if there's a is there a way that Caylen
could like touch one or pet it or something. Did
I see cows all the time, like on the side
of the road, like you'd be driving around, you know,
(01:50):
in various parts of the country, and I'll see cows
and I'm like, man, I really wish I could pull
over and like pet them.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Sometimes I pull over and talk to them and they
come to the fence.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
That's very nice. And that's something I would do too.
And people would think maybe I was like on LSD
or something, but and I might be, But I still
like to talk to animals. I do. And I remember,
you know, many years ago, I learned that a lot
of those cows out in the field, just roaming, they
don't really want to talk to us because well, when
humans come a knock in, you know, it's usually not
an excellent sign of things to come. So it's you know,
(02:18):
they don't know that the guy who pulled over in
the rental car is, you know, in the side of
the road. It just wants to chat and really hesit,
you know, only good things to offer. Yeah, But nonetheless
you've kept in touch with these people and they're doing something, yes.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
With Aaron, So yeah, you got me. That was one
of my favorite gifts I've ever received. The other one
was from you too, the Lucille ball Time magazine. But
I had such a good time and they're an amazing place,
Like I learned that they have more than cows to
cuddle there. They are a nonprofit animal rescue and sanctuary.
They are home to two hundred and fifty previously abused, handicapped,
(02:53):
neglected or discarded animals. So like literally even animals that
have broken out of the slaughter truck, they will take.
They will not turn away. You know, they got an
injured horse recently. So they are having their first ever
barn raising gala, which is a fundraiser for a new
barn for the animals as well as a learning center
for children that can be used year round because they
thrive in the summer, but if kids could go, you know,
(03:14):
year round, then they could really help take care of
these animals who really need this love and care. If
you want to go to the fundraiser, they will have food, drinks,
and you could bid on items like you know, we're
gonna give some tickets, but also you could bid on
cow cuddling if you want to do that. The gala
is Saturday, August second at Wildwoods in Hobart, Indiana. If
you want tickets, or you can donate online, or you
(03:35):
can give something to the auction.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
It's kind of a hard website.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
We will post it, but head to Aaron's Farm and
that's E R I N S dot home dot q
T e g O dot U s SO it's aarinsfarm
dot home, dot q t E g O U S.
I'm sorry dot us and they're at I will post
a link.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
I know.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
It does.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
That's okay, and you're doing amazing work.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
It does it.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
I tried to find an easier way, like if you
could google searching.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
About like cowcuttles dot com. The problem with that one
is I'm afraid to look up that one.
Speaker 5 (04:07):
Please.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Yeah, I don't know what that might lead us to do.
Not go to that website.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
No, or just like honestly DM me or Texas and
I'll send you the link. But yeah, that is it
and they're amazing.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
So I run the bathtub. He thinks I'm taking a bath,
but I'm really doing. What I gotta do is do
that too.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
The French Show is on Good Morning, Everyone's Heir see
July twenty fourth, though Kaylin, good Morning, Hi, Jason Brown, Hi, Paulina, Hikki,
sho Y Shelley and hyperecord Megan's back again. She'd already
earned yourself an extra hundred bucks in the game. Six
hundred is the prize in the show Down five pop
(04:44):
Culture Questions against Shoby Shelley, the expert will play in
about twenty minutes, waiting by the phone from the vault.
Why does somebody get ghosted? Kiki's got a blog in
the entertainment reports coming up to what's in there?
Speaker 2 (04:54):
We are talking the Idaho murders and iconic bands getting
back together and something thanks for.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
You to watch, and we're commercial free for in the
next forty minutes. Yeah, they talk better than they sit.
Tell me about these are the radio blocks on the
Fresh show. I noted that I read everything that you know,
everyone submits to talk about on the show. And then
someone said he reads everything except that one time that
Kiki got hit by a car.
Speaker 5 (05:20):
Yep, I will never forget that you didn't.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
But you just dropped that in there. And it wasn't
a news story. It was an old story.
Speaker 6 (05:26):
Well, it was something that I was reflecting on in
my life, Okay, something that I survived and I wanted
to share with you all, and I kept putting it
on the prep sheet. I kept putting it every day,
and you just ran on passages.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
So like one time he wrote it and I missed it.
So that's it.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
Yes, you're fine now, by the way, that.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
One time that you just dropped onto our sheet that
you got hit by a car. Yes, and I'm sorry that.
I'd like to apologize public with you for missing that.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
Thank you a shout out to that texture, and thank.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
You to the texture for bringing that up again. Thank
you appreciate that, like for writting in our diaries, except
we said him aloud. We called him Kiki's got one go.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
Yes, dear blog.
Speaker 6 (06:02):
I don't know if anyone else plays this little skit
in their lives that I do, but if I make
plans with you and they're far out. So for instance,
you know, we set a dinner for two months from now,
which we did as a show like two months ago.
We said We're going to go to dinner in July,
at the end.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
Of July, because that's how long it takes to find
a day that everybody can do it. Yeah, yep, literally
a new slash. I'm not the hold up. I have
zero social plans anyway, go ahead, same.
Speaker 6 (06:29):
But so we set this date two months ago and
I've been looking at it all week on my calendar,
but no one on the show has said anything all
week about this dinner. And I am the type of
person if we set plans two months out and it
comes to the week of, you don't mention anything, even
the day before. If you don't say anything, and my mind,
we're not going.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
What Yes, what am I supposed to say to you?
Speaker 5 (06:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
The calendar invite to the follow up.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Apparently I'm supposed to ask her if she got hit
by car twenty.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Years ago, so you can talk about it at dinner.
Speaker 6 (07:01):
No, But okay, So you guys aren't like this, Like
if you have a date with somebody right and they
don't text you the day of to say like, hey
can't wait to catch up later, or hey can't wait
to see you tomorrow or can't wait to go out tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (07:14):
In my mind, we both forgot about it, so it's
not happening.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
I mean maybe with that, But we have a calendar invite,
so I know it's no it's real.
Speaker 5 (07:22):
But nobody said anything all week. What do you want
me to say?
Speaker 2 (07:26):
I'm so excited to spend time with you, Yes I am.
Speaker 6 (07:29):
If anybody's like, what, have anybody looked at the menu
or you know, are we still on for said date
that we played where months ago?
Speaker 1 (07:37):
I don't feel this way about this dinner? Yeah, And
I joke about how antisocial am. I am. I am
fairly introverted, which seems to surprise a lot of people.
I think I use all of my talkie talkie at
work and then I'm kind of out of words. Yep,
And that's the real thing. But I do this all
the time where I'm like, oh, it's eight weeks away
or so, sure, I'll do it. Yeah, great, And then
(07:59):
I I don't remember that I agreed to it, And
then every Sunday I look at my calendar to see
what I have and I'm like, oh my god, I
did agree to that, didn't I don't feel that way
about this dinner. But I did pop up and I
was like, oh, yeah, that's right, we're going to dinner
this I forgot about it. I did forget right.
Speaker 6 (08:12):
But if anyone so satan, no one said anything, because
the only reason it got brought up today is because
Bella is extremely exciting.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
I saw Bella from fifty feet away and going up
the escalator we get to bond tonight.
Speaker 6 (08:27):
So if she hadn't said anything and no one mentioned anything,
were we all just going to show up at the restaurant.
Speaker 5 (08:33):
Yes, I mean I was there, It's on my calendar.
Speaker 7 (08:36):
I was.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
I was assuming that we were going. The only thing
I was wondering about was are we really going at four?
See see yourself, Okay, I was just making sure because
I love that. I'm all about going to dinner at
four o'clock. This makes me very happy.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
I used to hate it.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Right, We're going to go to dinner at four. Paulina
will show up around five fifteen.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
The first time that they'll serve dinner.
Speaker 8 (08:53):
By the way that Jesson, I wanted to go at noon. Oh,
but they don't open until four, So that's where we're going.
I'm not trying to be in the city till nine
o'clock and I gotta get up at three am.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
This is great. I mean, we go at four, I'll
probably be in bed by six thirty. This is amazing. Yeah,
watching Netflix or something that fully my little bellies full. Oh,
I'll be so excited. I'll just be so full of
energy from all my social interaction. Or I'll be completely
exhausted one of the others the bonding.
Speaker 5 (09:24):
Either way, the bonding will be exhausting, I'm sure.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
So what you're saying, Kiki is that you need like
a daily reminder.
Speaker 6 (09:30):
Not a daily reminder, but like if we play in
this too, even my dentist office.
Speaker 1 (09:35):
But that was out six months so you need Jason
to call hi from the French show. I just wanted
to confirm your reservation to have dinner with us on Thursday.
Speaker 5 (09:44):
Yes, like, let me know that you remember, because in
my mind if I.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
Send you a calendar, but I remember.
Speaker 6 (09:49):
But Jason, it's a dinner though it's not a meeting,
it's a family It's all this to me.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
If it's in the calendar, we're going. If we're not
all right, good to know.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
I just like a little confid to make sure we're
still friends. You still want to go, you still I'm
still invited.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
You know things saying I'll tell you what I would
never survive in the real world. And this is a fact.
I've never had another job. I mean I have in
college or high school, whatever, but my knock on would
in my professional career. This is the only job I
have had some form of radio personality. And we don't
do the corporate rules like we never just it's not
(10:25):
we don't work the same hours as everybody else or
you know, what we're asked to do is different. And
I'm not saying it's harder or less hard. It's just
the parameters of a nine to five. I don't know
how I would conform after twenty five years of doing
this because I've never had to. In some ways it
might be easier, and in some ways it would be
very difficult. Right, this is not a hard job, but
(10:45):
it's a job where you're on There is no downtime
really unless we're playing a commercial, which we've played many
But but but you know what I mean. Like, I'm
not suggesting that at work you don't do anything, but
you know, so I would imagine if you have an
office job, there are times where you can close the
door and it's something at your own pace. We don't
really have them. What what I would What drives me
absolutely crazy is when people put things on my calendar
(11:09):
without asking me if I'm available. Now I know why
they're doing it. Can't say that I know why they're
doing it, because in the corporate world, they go into
their little teams or a little little out look or
whatever the hell it's called the little I don't even
know what it's called the calendar, and they can see, right,
can't they see what I'm available? And when I'm not
what's blocked off and what's free, and I don't participate
in that, Like I don't. I don't block things off.
(11:31):
I don't. I don't put little messages up. Hey, I
don't use teams chat, I don't do anything. I don't
do any of this. I don't do it because I
don't have to, because we don't, you know, Like, if
I need something, I'm looking at everybody who's important to
me at work right now except for mellows in the
other room, and I just say, hey, we're doing this.
Whatever can you do this? Can you ask me? Yeah?
Is that simple? So like, but I noticed in the
corporate world it's very common if you if you're if
(11:53):
you're open on the calendar, somebody can put something on
them because the expectation is that you're you know, you're
there from eight to five or whatever it is, and
we just it just does not operate like that. So,
like last week, someone just puts something on my calendar.
I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Speaker 8 (12:05):
Everybody calm down, Who do you think you are?
Speaker 1 (12:08):
Who do you think you are?
Speaker 5 (12:10):
I got a life, man.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
How do you know I'm available? Well, because your schedule's open.
But that doesn't mean I don't. I didn't put in
there my wax or whatever I am writed. It just
so happens you wanted to meet during my weekly Brazilian Yes,
it's weekly.
Speaker 5 (12:25):
It's crazy.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
This sexor has a great point in Kiki.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
If you didn't forget, why didn't you confirm with us?
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Like?
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Why is it on us to confirm with you?
Speaker 5 (12:33):
Wow invited me? Jason invited me.
Speaker 6 (12:38):
So I can't just confirm Jason's meeting like or his plans.
Speaker 5 (12:43):
You know, he's the.
Speaker 6 (12:44):
Captain, so he just tells me where to go and
I have the show up. And if Jason doesn't say anything,
I'm like, man, I wonder if we're still doing it.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
He's not like inviting you for fun my choice.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
One thing I know about this show is we just
come up with this. We do have a calendar invite
on this show. We love a calendar invite, and and
it don't work, so it doesn't matter. But when they come,
when they go up, they'll come down right. So like
you know, Jason and Camland are very thorough about the
calendar invites, and so do you guys need it? If
(13:17):
the dinner had been canceled, then it would have come
off the schedule. So the fact that it was still
there meant it was happening and I didn't have to
ask anybody about it.
Speaker 5 (13:26):
Well, damn my bad, because I'll you right now.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
I want to hear if I had come in here
and said the same thing you said, I would have
heard somebody's feelings. I promise you. We're still having dinner.
Of course we are.
Speaker 8 (13:37):
It's on your calendar full expecting like, uh, one to
two pm text from Kiki, Hey are we doing this?
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Like it was a like in my head that it
was coming.
Speaker 5 (13:49):
It like to make sure it doesn't fund to me,
I would just be like, yeah, people change their mind.
Speaker 6 (13:53):
You know you still like me at one o'clock today.
Speaker 5 (13:56):
I don't know. This is a.
Speaker 9 (14:00):
I've never been left waiting by the phone.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
It's the Fred Show. Christian, good morning, Welcome to the show.
Speaker 9 (14:06):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Are you very well? We call this waiting by the phone,
of course, trying to figure out if you got ghosted,
what happened? Why don't you explain how you met Ellen
and about any dates that you've been on and what's
happening right now?
Speaker 9 (14:21):
Yeah, of course, So I actually met Ellen on bumble
you know the dating.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
App and familiar with the bumble. Yeah it's been okay,
cool time or two. Yeah, okay, yeah, so you met
her there.
Speaker 9 (14:34):
So so I met around there, asked her out to
grab drinks at one of the like this speakeasy nearby
my place, and I love that day. It's got like
a good atmosphere. But they have these wild cocktails and
you end up having too and you ended up getting
pretty loaded. So we were defrunked by the end of
the night. And we walked back over to my place
and you know, get intiment do what do an adults
(14:55):
to I don't know how explicit I can be with you,
but I think you'll pay to use your imagination.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
Feel pretty over all? Right, Yeah, I think everybody knows
what you're talking about, so that that happened exactly.
Speaker 9 (15:07):
Yeah, So I just want to get that out of there,
right sots. And she, you know, she starts close to me.
I thought we had a good night, you know, and
now stuck wondering if she only hooked up with me
because she was drunk, and I would really hate for
that to be the case, And could I actually liked her?
I had a good time with her conversation was easy flow,
and she's very attractive, and you know, I kind of
felt that this romantic connection a bit of chemistry, and
(15:29):
you know, if it wasn't she didn't feel the same way,
wasn't reciprocated, it was fine. I just you know, I
want I don't I.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
Want to know. I just don't want to get going.
I mean, sometimes male female whatever. Maybe I don't know
if it matters the gender. Sometimes when people drink too
much and then things happened, it's like, well, did I
Is this how I wanted things to start? Did I
give off the right impression? Some people have anxiety where
they're you know, they're hungover, and like, ah, I can't
believe I did that. I know that's happened to me.
(15:56):
So it's possible that she just kind of thought maybe
it was fun, but not necesscessarily the way she wanted
to start the relationship. But I suppose that's a conversation
you could have unless you wanted to just disappear, which
is maybe what she's doing.
Speaker 9 (16:08):
You're exactly right, I want to have that conversation. I
think at least let me know, you know, I'm man
enough to take that kind of rejection, but it's unusual
for me to not even get to follow up and
be like, hey, do you want to try this again?
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Yeah? Yeah, or you could look at it as wow,
we really hit it off. The chemistry was great, Like,
why don't we keep going in this direction? So let
me call Ellen. You'll be on the phone. I want
to see if we can get her on the line
and ask some questions to figure out what's going on.
At some point, you're welcome to jump in on the
call and hopefully we can straighten this out and set
you guys up on another date that we pay for. Okay,
So right, this is the part.
Speaker 9 (16:38):
Where I get to be like sneaky and I don't
say anything right.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
Right right, because you've obviously heard this before. So just
follow my lead on this and let's see what happens. Yeah,
I'm going to play one song. We'll come back and
do it. Okay, cool, let's see what's good? Hey, Christian, Yeah,
all right, let's call Ellen. You guys met on Bumble,
you went out, you thought there was a lot of chemistry,
had a great date. I wanted poking up, except you've
reached out since that date, trying to set up date
(17:03):
number two, and she's not responding to you at all.
Speaker 9 (17:06):
Exactly exactly. We had a good time. We had a
good time, and I'm looking forward to a day two.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
You just at least you want to know, you know
why she's not calling or if something happened or whatever.
So let's call her now. Good luck. Christian hiasus Ellen, Yeah, Ellen, Hey,
(17:32):
good morning Fred from the Fred Show. The whole crew
is here. I have to tell you that we are
on the radio right now, and I would you're I
would thank you. Wow, my god. I don't know if
that's a compliment. I don't know if that was an
oh my god, like I love the show, and notice
I just say thank you right away, like that's what
that meant. I love the show, genuinely surprised. Okay, well
then you know the rest of the deal. So you're
(17:52):
on waiting by the phone right now. I got him.
Christian reached out to us so that you guys met
on bumble and went out. Do you remember this guy? Yeah?
You do? Okay, so he called us, and if you
listen to the show before, then you know why he called.
He wants to know why you aren't calling him back.
He described to us what he thought was a very
successful date. He did mention that you guys got intimate,
(18:13):
and it's like, why did all that happen if you
weren't interested? So what's your side of the story.
Speaker 7 (18:19):
Well, I would bet that he didn't actually tell you
the whole story. We went out for drinks.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
Never do.
Speaker 7 (18:27):
Yeah, we went up for drinks and then we like
how to sleep over? Right, and I don't know whatever,
Like I would have hooked up with him even if
we hadn't had drinks, just because like, I don't know,
the chemistry was there.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
Maybe we weren't, like because he was worried about that.
He was like, well maybe it was. Maybe this whole
thing is because everybody had too much to drink and
now people are regretting things. But you're saying that's not
the reason you're not calling him.
Speaker 7 (18:49):
Well, well, I mean, like I would have hooked up
with him either way, but because of the drinking, we
weren't like as they probably should have been.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Okay, we'll leave it at that, Okay, yep.
Speaker 7 (19:06):
And then in the morning he asked me if I
was on birth control and I was like no, So
we were like, okay, you know, we decided together. We
should go get a plan. B I like need to
go buy it. And he just keeps like blowing at
my phone, demanding that I send him a video of
me opening the package and putting the pill in my
(19:26):
mouth and swallowing it to.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Make sure you get it.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
Yes, I wasn't convinced exactly that you're going to buy it.
Meant that you were going to utilize the product. So
he needed proof that you were going to do it.
Speaker 7 (19:39):
Oh and he needed like the date somewhere shown in
the video. It was just completely insulting. He didn't trust me,
and he thinks that he's so great that I would
like want to have his baba.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
What is wrong? So you know, the Christians here, Christian
what's your side of the story. I mean, I wasn't
for you guys just to make that decision and to
let you know, let say what she said she was
going to do, or do what she said she was
gonna do.
Speaker 9 (20:04):
Yeah, no, no, no, I just kind of what I
wanted to cut you off because you're really like putting
all of all of my business out there.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Okay.
Speaker 9 (20:10):
So just like oh and.
Speaker 7 (20:12):
You when you called a radio station.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
Yeah, I mean, what did you say what I mean,
you knew you had the story. You're on the radio now,
of course she's gonna put your business. But I didn't
think that this.
Speaker 9 (20:21):
I didn't think that she would go on. We were
talking about the night before, not the morning after. I
didn't think anything. Not just asking you for a little
bit a lot. No, it's after the day, Ellen, and
I just wanted to know if, like you wanted to
go out again. But here you are accusing me of
like some sort of like phone harassment, like.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
I just I don't know.
Speaker 9 (20:45):
I just I wanted to call you to see if
you want to go out again. And the whole thing
that happened like after the day again, after the date.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Okay, well that's great, I guess. Okay, so you guys
don't know each other and this all goes down, and
I mean, you haven't developed any form of trust. You
don't probably even know each other's last names or middle
names or whatever. And that's okay. Things happen, But it
wasn't good enough Christian for you and Ellen to just
decide that you were going to take this path to
(21:12):
be extra safe. After the fact that.
Speaker 9 (21:16):
I also was like, hell.
Speaker 7 (21:18):
Yeah, we need to get something done.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
About this.
Speaker 9 (21:20):
Yeah, but great, I also need to protect myself, so
I'm just asking for a seat.
Speaker 1 (21:25):
Listen to Ellen.
Speaker 9 (21:25):
All I'm saying is that I think my request is
well within my right. I've told you that my family
has a lot of money and I have to go
to like extra link. I don't want to be taking
advantage of right.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
How does that come up on the day I'm extremely rich?
I mean, once you do that, I can see why
you're paranoid now because you're telling everybody how rich you are.
Speaker 7 (21:43):
I'm not telling everybody. I'm not trying to procreate with
a douche like you.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
Amen, you both made this decision, but you're out here willing,
really knowing that, feeling as though you could be exposed
at any time. But you're not taking any precaution that.
Speaker 9 (22:00):
Night, No, which is why I'm trying to do the
next morning again, not part of the date or past
the date. We're into the next phase of whatever this
was going to be.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Okay, And so for you, Ellen, that's too much in
a word, yet because of that and because of a
lack of trust, and you just thought the whole thing
was not cool. So you're never going to talk to
him again, I mean the video was a little much,
but I guess I can see I mean, can you
guys see the paranoia maybe that that there was no
follow up? I mean that's kind of the decision that
(22:29):
you make when you were grown up and you put
yourself in that position that like you relinquished a little
bit of power by not being thoughtful.
Speaker 4 (22:36):
Yeah, he made that decision, though I don't think he
can demand that.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
Yeah, I don't know about the video and the rest
of it.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
Doing too much. Yeah, you know, you made the mistake
and you're going to have to just trust.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
But so did she if you want to call it,
I mean devil's advocate. You know, there's no basis for
him to believe what she's saying. So, I mean, I'm
not saying I agree with him.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
I think he really wants to be one hundred percent
sure that he doesn't have a baby, then he shouldn't
do that.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
Well, I agree with that. I agree with that.
Speaker 4 (22:59):
So it's not on him anymore, like it's not in
his control.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
Okay, So basically, she didn't like the approach, thought it
was insensitive, thought it was uncool and Christian. There you go,
that's why she's not calling and there's not going to
be a second date.
Speaker 9 (23:12):
Yeah, obviously I can't. I didn't think I was being
insensitive at all, just just to trying to. I don't know,
I'll get some basis of trust going.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
I don't know that the video she could have she
could have taken anything. I don't know.
Speaker 9 (23:26):
I don't know. It's her loss.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Okay, well there you go, Ellen, it's your loss. You
hear that's entertainment report. He's on the Pread Show.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Brian Coberger, a former criminology PhD student, has been sentenced
to four consecutive life sentences without parole for the twenty
twenty two murders of the University of Idaho students Kaylee Gonzalveez,
Madison Mogan, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin. Brian took a
controversial plea deal that spared him the death penalty. I
(23:55):
know a lot of people are very unhappy about that.
During the emotional hearing, the victims family and roommates shared
very heart wrenching statements.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
They were very brave, very strong.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Kaylee's sister look right at Brian as she told him,
no one's scared of you today. No one thinks you're
important and if you hadn't attacked them in the middle
of the night like a pedophile, Kaylee would have kicked
your effing ass.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
Yeah, that was a very powerful statement.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
Powerful and I was hysterical because as a sister, that
is not something that anyone should ever have to do.
It's just heartbreaking for all the families. Spineless Brian once
again took a cop out and declined to speak or
explain his motive. By the way, I just finished the
prime documentary about this. It's called One Night in Idaho
the College Murders. It's hard to watch, but it's good
(24:40):
and a lot of stuff we haven't heard yet.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
He's sick.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
Before the murders, he would ask really creepy questions in
his criminology classes about the murder and their motive and
how they do it, like really made people uncomfortable. After
the murders, he joined a Facebook group about the murders
and again was asking questions about the murders as a
if he hadn't committed them.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
He is sick and disgusting and will never.
Speaker 1 (25:04):
Know why he did it, or or any of the
motive or anything. And the judge commented on that yesterday saying,
you know, I hope the criminologists study this guy, and
psychologists and whomever to try and figure out the signs
of people like him to be aware of. But we'll
never know the guys that coward.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
They did flag him in the Facebook group for his
questions and even beforehand with his questionnaires, but you know,
by that point it had already been done, and.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
The question was asked of the prosecution, like why didn't
you make him state his motive and the paraphragm. That
prosecutor's answer was that we don't believe that anything he
says is real anyway, and we weren't going to give
him one more chance to have any sort of power
over the victims' families or whatever, just toy with them anymore.
It was like, you know, the guys, I gotta tell
(25:50):
the truth anyway.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
Yeah, so I'd be fair.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
The friends and family during the docu series were also
surprised that it was someone that they didn't even know,
like he was watching them. All thought it was someone
in their circle. They wanted to know why evidence is
the way that they found him, linking him to this
crying DNA, a knife sheath, a cell phone data like
where he was pinged and surveillance video.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
However, we will not know the motive.
Speaker 1 (26:14):
And I want to believe that he's going to get
his except they're going to put him in a supermax
and they're going to isolate him, which is torture in itself.
But they're going to isolate him because he would get
killed in prison, because there are you know, and again
this is all stuff I've read, but it's it's there
are a few things that people in prison don't like,
and it's hurting women and hurting children, and he basically
did both. So he'll wind up in a box for
(26:36):
the rest of his life, which you know, that's that's awful.
But I kind of wish they'd just throw him into
the wolves and say, why don't you You know what,
you such a big guy, sneaking in the middle of
the night and killing people who innocent, people who couldn't
defend themselves. You such a big guy, like, you know what,
why don't you go? Why don't you go and geen
pop and see how that goes?
Speaker 2 (26:54):
Yep, I agree. I couldn't agree with you more. It
makes me very upset and angry. Let's move on, Stevie
Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham are officially reissuing their nineteen seventy
three album Buckingham Nicks, their only studio project before joining
Fleetwood Mac. The remastered version, sourced from original analog master tape,
drop September nineteenth on vinyl, CD and streaming. The opening
(27:15):
track Crying in the Night is already out to stream
if you want to hear that. After years of being
unavailable and out of print since I think the eighties,
this album was pivotal in securing Fleetwood's interest in the duo.
So this is a really big moment for fans and
really quick. In TV and movie news, James Cameron is
making a new movie called Ghosts of Hiroshima, centered around
the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The movie will
(27:38):
be graphic, emotional, and based on real survivor stories, especially
to Somo. I hope I'm saying that right Yamaguchi, who
survived both blasts.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
He's helping him with this.
Speaker 2 (27:48):
Cameron says it's going to be as raw and powerful
as Schindler's Lists, with no holding back and over on Netflix,
Wednesday has been renewed for a third season. This comes
just weeks ahead of Season two, Part one's arrival on
August sixth, and then season two Part two will follow
excuse me on September third. And by the way, if
you would like to catch up on anything you missed
(28:09):
from our show, it is all up on the free
iHeartRadio app. Just search the Fread Show on demand. And
if you could set us as a preset.

College Murders when I'm looking for it right now, One

Yep, Amazon Prime.
Speaker 1 (28:28):

said you can read.
