Speaker 1 (03:51):
What are you working on?

Speaker 4 (03:52):
K directshot from Miss Charlie XCX to Taylor over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Taylor might be planning something in return.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Also, we gotta talk about Brian Branch of the Detroit Lions.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
It's stay or go, all right, Kayla is here? Good morning, Kayla?
How you doing?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Hi?

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Good morning, I'm well how are you, Kayla?

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Welcome to the program. Doing great? So you reached out
to us about your fiance. You guys you met a
few years ago. And while we're getting into some financial
territory here too, this is you know, this is a
place to come for any sort of cryptocurrency news and

(04:32):
advice on the Pulse of the market. Kiky is on
the pulse of all things financial. So what's going on
with this guy?

Speaker 6 (04:42):
Well, I appreciate you taking my call.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Listen.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
So, a few years ago, you know, my fiance and
I were doing a lot of research, well he's mostly
he was doing research on bitcoin, and he seemed to
know like really what he was doing with it, and
so we decided to invest a lot of a fair
amount of money.

Speaker 7 (05:06):
On bitcoin.

Speaker 6 (05:07):
We went fifty to fifty and he said that he
was going to do well, he said, to grow it
in the future.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
You said, a few years ago you did this? Yeah, yeah,
you richerange girl.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Okay, Well, so yeah, that's my financial that's that's that's
how I feel about that financially as your advisor, girl,
you rig Ridge anyway, Okay, So years ago you invested
in this fifty to fifty then what.

Speaker 6 (05:31):
Okay, So, which you know, that's also what I thought.
But so, okay, we're getting married and like, as you know,
weddings are super expensive and at the moment we're pretty
over budget, and so I asked him, you know, like, hey,
what about the bitcoin could we use some of that
to pay to the venue, and my fiancee reacted really

(05:54):
weirdly and so like it could you know, I kind
of prodded him about it, and then he finally told
me that when he checked on our you know, on
our account, it had grown a lot and obviously and
then he cast it out and used it to pay

(06:15):
apparently some of our bills and then apparently also a
vacation that we took and I had I had no idea,
and so honest.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
How much you invested, but since in the last five
years it's up one thousand percent, So whatever you invested,
it was a ten x like whatever you put in.
I mean, that's we're not talking about I don't know
how many coin you have or whatever, but like we're
not talking about an insignificant amount of money that he
apparently decided to delegate to something else. I mean, we're

(06:48):
talking probably tens of thousands of dollars.

Speaker 6 (06:50):
Well yeah, yeah, exactly, Okay, yeah, and apparently it's all gone.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
It's all it's all gone or like some of the
inkrey and he spent all of it.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
And you know what, that's also a question that I have, you.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
Know, I mean because if you bought one one coin
is worth one hundred and seventy thousand dollars. I think
I haven't looked recently. Let me see you what is
one coin worth? One bitcoin?

Speaker 3 (07:19):
My brain just like automatically shuts off. I don't understand.
I want to understand.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Want a bitcoin value one hundred and eleven thousand dollars today?

Speaker 1 (07:25):
I wish I could get it same?

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Why was I could have gone in ten years ago
one hundred and ten grand anyway, so you don't. So
he took He took money that is both of yours
that he has access to you. He spent it on
things that are for both of you, But he did
it without asking you if that's what you wanted to
spend it on.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Yeah, huh.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
Now why didn't you have access if you put half
the money in and it was growing at the rate
that it was growing. And I'm sure you sort of
out of the corner of your eye were watching this
because you can't really miss that that you know, crypto is.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
It's been pretty vollatile.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
So I mean, why did you not ask for access
to this account too so you could look at it?
Because I think I would, you know, if I put
half of some an investment in and there was a
way to look at it. I'd probably you know, take
a little look see every now and again.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
But no, you know, I.

Speaker 6 (08:18):
Hear you there, and that's the way that I wish
I would have gone about it. But I guess I
kind of in my mind was sort of going about
it in like sort of like a traditional way and
was sort of like, well, you know, I'm going to
be with this man, and I trust him, and you know,
he said you want to take care of our finances.
So I just kind of, now that it's coming out

(08:41):
of my mouth, I kind of like blindly trusted him
with my money, and I feel like a fool.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Now let me ask you this kaya because why I'm sorry,
I continue I apologize.

Speaker 6 (08:54):
Well, just now here I am on a radio show,
you about how my money was taken away from me.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Well, there was nothing to be ashamed of calling a
radio show for advice, there's absolutely nothing. This is what
we do and there's nothing shameful here. But I guess
you didn't do anything wrong. But where did you think
the money was coming from to pay off these joint bills?

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Slash go on vacation? So like if not from there.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Did you just think he had You just thought he
had enough money to pay for this stuff and didn't
even consider that he was dipping into that fund.

Speaker 6 (09:30):
I didn't think much about the expenses, Like we we
both have good jobs, we both work full time. He
does make more than me, and so I honestly I didn't.
I didn't think anything of it. It never crossed my mind.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Huh, yeah, this is this is interesting because like maybe
you wouldn't have gone on the vacation or chosen to
pay the bills if you had known that this was
happening because you were counting on this money for something else.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
So you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Like, so this guy's like, yeah we can go on vacation, Sure,
I got you, Or let's go on vacation.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Then he pays for it.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
But if you had in my mind, if I'm with
someone and they say, hey, let's go on vacation, I'll
cover it, then you've got the money to pay for that.
If we're going into our savings to pay for it,
that's a different conversation that we have to have together exactly,
because then you have to ask yourself, is this vacation
worth it? Are these is this the financially responsible thing
to do to pay these bills off, right now, you

(10:28):
know there's a lot that goes into that, So I mean,
you had a right to know when the money that
you that's half yours.

Speaker 1 (10:34):
Was being spent.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
In hell, in my opinion, you had every right to know,
even if it benefited you.

Speaker 6 (10:41):
But he said that he used it on stuff for us,
and so he's like, he doesn't. I guess he's at
a point where he doesn't understand why I'm so mad
about it.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
I would also ask for a full accounting. I would.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
I would ask like, okay, great, so you spend all
of our bitcoin, which again I don't know how many
you had, if it was one or a part part
of one or whatever, but we're not We're talking about
probably tens of thousands of dollars and a big increase
over when you bought it five years ago, so there
was a fair amount of money there. So I think
i'd also be like, hey, let me see where you
spent it, because that's a lot of I mean, I
don't know what kind of vacation you went on or

(11:15):
what these bills were, but like, unless it was a lot,
then I think he's I don't know where.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
I don't know where he's taking care of another family
on his status.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
And i'd like to know boy eight five five three
five you guys, I'd love to hear what you have
to say about this. I don't think you can trust
this guy. He's it's not for him to go spend
joint funds without talking to you. And then I also
think he spent all of it, Like where did it go?

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Let's see?

Speaker 6 (11:46):
Yeah, yeah, well, and I'm really at a point I
just I don't know if I really can marry someone
who's such a good liar, Like, yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
I don't and and so and in his counterargument is,
well I spent it on you, Well did you? Okay, fine,
all right, Well maybe we didn't have as much as
I thought. I'm it, just show me. But then it's like,
but I also didn't authorize. I didn't know this is
we were spending that money on this. Now in your mind,
it was this was going to be for the wedding. Well,
now we don't have any money for the wedding. Now
what are we supposed to do? So, yeah, this is

(12:17):
all very shady to me, Cayle. I'm gonna take some
phone calls to see what people have to say. I
have a good day and good luck. All right, this,
yeah you got it. These guys co invested in some
crypto five years ago. It is worth a bunch of money.
She wants to know where it is now because they're
planning a wedding. And he says, oh, I spent it
on our vacation. I spent it on some bills already,
but you were there and they were your bills, So hey,

(12:39):
it's all good, right, But like, no, not right, I
mean we're it was half my money, so we're half.
I get half vote in how we spent. And by
the way, whose bills your bills? My bills? Right?

Speaker 5 (12:51):
You know, where are the receipts. I need to see
exactly what you spent. Need a break down of where
the money went and was in your account right now,
because why did you need to dip in to our
savings if we both are working right now? Like, what
do you have going on? Are you gambling on the side,
you got a drug problem, you got a family? What's
going on? And girl, I believe everything happens for a reason.
So the fact that you're finding this out before the

(13:12):
wedding and it's stopping your wedding planning. Might be a sign.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
Yeah, Marvin, Hi, Marvin, how you doing?

Speaker 5 (13:18):
Hey Marvin?

Speaker 1 (13:20):
Hello Marvin, what what do you do? You hear this
this scenario? What do you think?

Speaker 8 (13:26):
Run for the hills? Yes?

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Right, you gotta go, Like where doll this money go?

Speaker 8 (13:33):
My thing is if she is willing to just go
behind her back, use the money and not even tell her, Hey,
I'm did to get to this account and just.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
Gonna do it. Oh willy nelly whatever the word. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:49):
He will.

Speaker 8 (13:49):
He is there that he is willing to do it again, uh,
and not feel like a shame about it. So she
should run, run for the hills.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
And like, why wouldn't you discuss that.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Why wouldn't you say, like, hey, we had a chance
to pay off a big chunk of our debt and
we can go on this cool vacation. Well maybe maybe
outside of savings, you can't afford the vacation, right, Like
maybe that money was supposed to be over here, It
wasn't to be spent that way. But you and I
guess you could say, Kaylor should have asked that question, Well,
where'd you come up with this money to buy? You know?

Speaker 1 (14:16):
This trip or whatever.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
But maybe I don't know, maybe in her mind he
makes enough money for this, So where's that money?

Speaker 1 (14:21):
Then where's the money, Marvin.

Speaker 8 (14:25):
Someone to pay for a trip for me. I'm not
asking where the money's coming from. I'm going on a
free trip.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Yeah, yeah, I don't s too. Yeah, thank you, Marvin,
have a good day.

Speaker 8 (14:35):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
I agree with you, And you know, I don't like
to go to the most sinister place. I don't know
that it's infidelity per se, but like this is how
This is what happens when people are gambling. This is
what happens when people have some form of addiction. I'm
not saying he does. I don't know, but like this
is the kind of thing people do when they are
chasing debts or you know something. Well, we just did

(15:00):
go there. We just was it to mafia. We went
straight to the mafia. Hey Rachel, Hi, good morning, Hi,
stay your goat?

Speaker 1 (15:07):
What do you think?

Speaker 3 (15:09):
Absolutely?

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Go?

Speaker 3 (15:10):
She needs to run.

Speaker 7 (15:11):
He has shown her everything she needs to see.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
It's super unfortunate to have lost everything, but if he's
been sloppy with his money and communication right off the bat,
he has shown her everything she needs to see.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Yeah, I need to see this account, Like me personally,
I need to see this account, like I want to
see where it all went.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
I mean, because it would be pretty clear.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
I mean if you had I don't know, tens of thousands,
and I'm making this up, but if you had tens
of thousands of dollars, like where did it all go?

Speaker 1 (15:36):
Like what kind of trip did you take?

Speaker 2 (15:38):
Like we went to Saint Louis Man, like you know,
like how you spend that much?

Speaker 3 (15:43):
I was so exciting these days. It would have been
way more clout to say that he had crypto then
he went to Hawaii or wherever he was.

Speaker 8 (15:50):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
Well, yeah, thank you, Rachel, have a good day.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Thanks so much?

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Is it Naim? Is that right? Yes, sir, Hey, good morning,
Brad stare go.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Go.

Speaker 9 (16:04):
Why well, I think he, uh, he did not communicate
well enough in regards of making this decision. I feel
like this is a you know, a marriage decision or
if you have a decision regardless, like you know, it's
still a relationship decision. And if for whatever reason, you know,
he's saying he did what he did, like if I

(16:25):
was sure, I would ask for like some kind of receipts.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
Yeah, oh, yeah, you know, like some kind of.

Speaker 9 (16:29):
Proof, like all right, you say you did this, but
can you can you back it up?

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (16:35):
Like I'd like to see what debt we don't have anymore? Like, well,
that's good. What bills am I paying that I don't
need to be paying anymore because you paid him up exactly.
Thank you for calling. Have a great day.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Thank you, guys, appreciate.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
You listening to Hey Sheila, good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Guy, Hey, good morning stare.

Speaker 7 (16:52):
Go go leave with sho'bridleheels.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Yes, yeah, run.

Speaker 7 (17:00):
The biggest thing out of all this, honestly, is that
he hit it. If it wasn't for her inquiring about it,
because she was asking about using the funds for something else,
for venue, he wouldn't have even told her wants to
be married to somebody like that. That's I'm sane, Like
when somebody shows you who you are, believe him. He
showed you who he was. You know how many marriages

(17:22):
and from finances. Please don't do that. Leave.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
And he had to know he was doing something wrong
because he knew a wedding's come mean, they're engaged, so
he knew a wedding is forthcoming. Where was Where was
the money going to come from for that if they're
planning a wedding, if not for this slush fund that
they thought they had, Like, I don't know, this is
very And if he had tons of money saved himself
or something, well then he can just recoup the account.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
But it sounds like he doesn't.

Speaker 7 (17:50):
And supposedly he makes more than her, then what would
he do with his money?

Speaker 1 (17:54):
That's when he wakeney, right exactly. His money's funny. Now
where's his money?

Speaker 5 (18:00):
Hey?

Speaker 7 (18:00):
Everybody's money funny? Now whatever he does, like when you're married,
you're one unit. Whatever that man is doing, she has
to deal with it. No, no, no, no no, this
wasn't nobody, but Jesus Fabrank you know you do it.
Sometimes sadness turns into protection.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
Hey, all right, thank you? Some word she did ay?
And you know what, drop drop the mic. We'll leave
it right there.

Speaker 5 (18:24):
Yepklins entered Sainmer report he's on the Bread Show.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
Role model was the musical guest on SNL Over the Weekend,
hosted by Amy Poehler. And if you didn't know, he's
a dude that sings the song Sally when the Wine
runs out.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
Really popular on TikTok. It's also just a good.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
Song, and every live performance he picks a woman to
be his sally. Well, this time he brought up Miss
Charlie XCX, who was rocking none other than a shirt
that says Kansas City on it. It says Max's Kansas
City more specifically, which many are taking as a direct
shot at Taylor Swift, her fiance plays for the Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
YadA YadA.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Now, the shirt, I have to say was worn by
role model during SNL promos. His album is called Kansas Anymore,
and there also used to be a nightclub and restaurant
in New York called Maxis Kansas City. Of course, though,
I mean, Charlie's been in the headlines after people think
she responded to some feelings that she had in private
over Taylor Swift on her new album, The Life of

(19:25):
a Showgirl. So I think if she didn't want people
to think that it was a direction, I think she
wouldn't wear the shirt. But I'm not sure. You know
who is the musical guest on SNL this coming weekend,
though Sabrina Carpenter. Lots of people online are convinced that
Miss Taylor will.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
Now make a cameo.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
We got real life mean girls going on here.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
We got a beef. We got a good old rap beef.
Speaking of to.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
Like, Yeah, speaking of Taylor. She was shown for the
first Chiefs game ever. You're welcome. I think it was
my good Luck Sunday. If you were excited about it,
I'm sorry if you were not excited about that. But
she was with none other than the w NBA's miss
Caitlin Clark. She brought her to the game as well,
just like two very tall women, lanky, tall women celebrating
in that suitet elsewhere during that game though, well it

(20:18):
was after the game, I should say. Lions safety Brian
Branch smacked Juju Smith Schuster in the mouth.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
Did you see this?

Speaker 4 (20:24):
After getting upset over a block that went down? The
girls were fighting earlier in the evening. They tuessled on
the field.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
Right in her Chief shirt, and she knocked them both out.
They tuessled on the.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
Field before players from both sides broke things up. He
is now slated to miss Detroit's upcoming Monday night football
matchup with the Buccaneers. The league announced yesterday that banning
him without cost for one game, calling his actions aggressive
and entirely unwarranted.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
I don't know. Oh, actually I do know. He plans
to appeal, so I don't know what they'll do with it.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
I certainly understand his frustration over that game because and
you can never get physical. But the Chiefs needed that
game to secure an easy spot in the playoffs, and
I think it was apparent that the refs also wanted
them to.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
Secure that easy spot into the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
People were tweeting about Brian Branch, the loser energy, every
player shaking hands.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
You need to give respect to your opponents.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
And of course Dan Campbell, you know, was just the
best coach ever about it and just saying we don't
condone that, and it was wrong for him to do that.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
