Oh yeah, I think it's finally happening because it especially
can you imagine if and I'm gonna get it right
this time, if Travis is in the Super Bowl with
the Chiefs and then she performs the halftime, he retires,
she did it the whole thing.
Speaker 7 (02:14):
Oh yeah, I just go and announce her residency.
Speaker 5 (02:18):
Yes, we're going to this year, you guys.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Yeah, I can see it happening. Also this weekend the
Aaron waters Show. What are our thoughts on the Aaron
water Show because I'm noticing a lot of people on
social media hate it and they hate that it's four
days of over the top of the of the city.
Of course, I think it's great. Yeah, it because I'm
a little I'm a little pilot person. But these guys,
(02:41):
these guys were welling out this weekend. I gotta say,
I feel like they were. They were messing around because
there was more than one sonic boom allegedly, which means
they exceeded the speed of sound, which we're not supposed
to do, and so much so that windows in multiple
condo buildings were shattered on Friday as.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
A results of the Aaron Water Show.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
We Whearsle's residents said that the Air Force Thunderbirds jets
were flying low over the lakefront and they heard a
loud noise at the same time that the glass shattered. Apparently,
glass flew all over the place. One resident said, you
felt it in your body. The upper floor windows are
made of safety glass, but down to the lobby it's
plate glass windows, and they were shattered everywhere, and then
(03:20):
one of them went over the top of Wrigley super low,
like to the point where there's video of all the
players like ducking, and it's like, yeah, you know you
I got to think that if I'm a thunderbird and
I'm flying over Chicago and I'm the one who goes
in that direction during this, you know I'm going over Wriglely, Like,
come on, man, I got a fast jet, Like this
(03:41):
is once in a lifetime stuff. I'm doing it. If
I'm those guys, I'm doing it right, wouldn't you.
Speaker 5 (03:46):
But you're freaking everybody out.
Speaker 8 (03:49):
Breaking windows is in saying that's.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Right, But it was You're not supposed to go that
fast that close to the shore. But there are videos
that I mean, it was loud and then the windows
cracking and then the or breaking, and then of course
over the top of Wrickley was I mean the players
in the dugout and they like duck cause it's like,
what is going on? It was so so loud. But
(04:13):
you guys are you're all of the camp that No, no,
Aaron Water show.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
I don't think we need it.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
I was ducking here in the office when I was
hearing like the planes labe, I was like.
Speaker 5 (04:22):
What is going on? I hate it?
Speaker 4 (04:24):
For the dogs, Yeah, the pets get really firewars ban
it all.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
I love it. I love it.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Fly lower, fly fastly, well up in the city.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
But then you straight, Jason, let's hear how that sounds?
Speaker 5 (04:39):
Okay, girl, I like them jeans.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Let me get up in them.
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
I would feel fairly confident that you were not, in
fact hitting on a woman if you were to deliver
the message.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
In that way.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Fred's Show is on gudeas Monday, August eighteenth. The Fred
Show is here. Good morning everyone, Hi Kalem, good morning,
Hi Jason Brown.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Hi. Paulina Kiky is here.
Speaker 8 (05:01):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
She'll be Shelley two hundred and fifty bucks in the showdown.
If you could stat for three game win streak, five
pop culture questions and if you listen to the ports,
then you've got the answers and you can win. I
say it every day, but not everybody win.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
I'm trying to help you. I really am blogs. In
just a second, waiting by the phone. Right after that,
why did somebody get ghosted? The entertainmer report this hour too?
What's in their key?
Speaker 9 (05:24):
The singer who has denied a gig because he didn't
have enough Facebook followers.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Okay, yeah, they talk better than they say. Tell me.
These are the radio blogs on the Fred Show.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
So it's like we're writing in our diaries, except we
save them a loud. We call them blogs. Jason Brown's
got one go.
Speaker 5 (05:43):
Thank you, dear blogs.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
So this weekend, Mike and I took a long weekend
and we went up to his family's lake house just
for a little you know, lake time, little getaway. And
it's about two and a half hours away, and so
Thursday we left like after the show, so that you know,
we could be rush hour, get up there in time,
blah blah blah. So I go home, get everything in
(06:06):
the car, get the dogs in the car. We're all
picked up or ready to go. I'm about twenty minutes
away from his parents' house when I remember I forgot
my bag of stuff, which has everything I need in it.
It has my laptop, it has my charger, it has
my phone chargers, it has my medicine, it has everything.
(06:26):
I had my clothes bag because we put our clothes
in the same bag, but I didn't have my bag
of stuff.
Speaker 5 (06:34):
And when I tell you, I have never been so mad.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
I've been this mad, but I've never been so mad
at myself, Like I could not blame anybody but myself
for this occurrence. Okay, so I just start like I'm driving,
and Mike's I turn around, we'll go back. I was like, no,
the girls, I've been in the car for almost three
hours at this point.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
You are not going to ruin your first day of
vacation because I'm an idiot, right, So I'm like, I'm driving.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
I drove all the way to his parents house, dropped
him and the dogs off, and I was like, Okay,
I'm gonna do it. Like I've been up since three am,
but we're gonna make the three hour drive back.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
And then three hour home.
Speaker 10 (07:15):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
So then I get there and his mom's already got
her purse in her hand.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
She's like, I'm going with you.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
You've been up too late, too long, like you got
up so early this morning, like I'm driving you, we
can switch off like whatever. I was like, please, like
let me be by myself. I'm so mad, like I'm
like in tears. I'm just so mad at myself. And
it was like hours of driving total in yes, so
literally she drove us back here, got my stuff, walked
right in the kitchen, grabbed my bag, got right back
(07:42):
in the car, and three hours back, literally nine hours
in the car to and from Michigan three times. I
was trying, like you know, my brain is like immediately
problem solving, right, So I'm going through like a Rolodex
in my brain.
Speaker 5 (07:57):
Like okay, can I get a temporary prescription? And can
I log into another computer? Can I lea do this?
Speaker 4 (08:03):
And I could not think of a way where all
outcomes could reach where it needed to be.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
So I was like I got to there's no other
there's no other.
Speaker 8 (08:11):
Option besides the medicine.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
I don't really think you needed much else my personal opinion,
like you.
Speaker 8 (08:16):
Would never but you couldn't had a dead phone and
a no lesson.
Speaker 5 (08:19):
Oh yeah, no, I definitely could have.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
There was.
Speaker 4 (08:21):
I just was planning to do a lot of stuff
from the Lake House that I needed to do, So
I mean.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
Maybe it was maybe maybe they maybe the work gods
were like, no, it's okay, the boss doesn't need to
email you on Saturday night and to make a PowerPoint presentation.
Like it's maybe maybe that was the the you know,
the vacation god saying well, now he has no choice
but to relax.
Speaker 5 (08:43):
Yeah, So like I brought the computer back do what
I need to do.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
But then I did make like a conscious effort to
disconnect like all day Saturday and didn't touch anything Sunday
until Sunday night. I like was disconnected. So you know,
I'm trying. But I was like, wow, I am so dumb.
Speaker 7 (09:01):
Yeah, if you know anything about Jason, he's not leaving it,
think pad, honey, he won't Lake will.
Speaker 8 (09:10):
Leaving it.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
So Jason, I kill.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
You, man, Jason can't go anywhere with that that two
thousand and six thin and rely on.
Speaker 5 (09:18):
It's my biggest nomicis.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
But yeah, nine hours of driving bro.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
I was I was exhausted. Yeah, but you know, big
up to Mike's mom. Particularly the real one. I bought
her culvers.
Speaker 5 (09:33):
On the way back. I was like, dinner's on me.
What do you want?
Speaker 4 (09:35):
She's like, I want cheese skirts. I'm like that, let's go, yes.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Man, I want have taken you to a pawn shop
and got you a new computer. I would have taken
you to Target and got you into a cord and
told you I don't know what's up with the medicine,
but you're gonna be a litle nuts this weekend. So again,
nothing to cut water.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
Can't sit.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Ever been left waiting by the phone?
Speaker 1 (09:58):
It's the frendshell.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
Welcome to the program. How are you?
Speaker 11 (10:02):
I'm doing good?
Speaker 8 (10:03):
How are you guys?
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Okay, what's going on with this guy?
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Craig?
Speaker 3 (10:06):
On waiting by the phone?
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Here?
Speaker 2 (10:07):
We need to know everything. How did you guys meet?
Tell us about any dates you've been on, and then
what's happening right now?
Speaker 6 (10:12):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Great?
Speaker 11 (10:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (10:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (10:15):
I met Craig on Bumble and I went on one
date with him and after we matched very very.
Speaker 11 (10:22):
Quickly, he reached out and was like, do you want
to grab drinks? And you know, he was really cute,
so I was like yes. The day was so much fun.
It really was.
Speaker 10 (10:34):
We had a really great time. We talked the whole time,
the conversation was flowing, and he invited me back.
Speaker 11 (10:42):
To his place.
Speaker 10 (10:43):
Okay, really good signs, right, Yes, this guy.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
Gets to it man.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
Like you know, a lot of times these dating app situations,
they just become these long conversations. I'm guilty of that.
But no, this dude was assertive. He's like, let's go out,
and then he went out, and then he was like
come over to the house, and you were like, let's
do it. I mean he was really controlling the day
in a good way. Assertiveness, right, yes.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Very assertive.
Speaker 10 (11:05):
Like I loved it, and I was feeling it too,
So it was nice to have it.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Really, we like it makes you feeling like it. We
like it when everyone's feeling it. Yeah, I heard, Yeah,
that's what we're all going for.
Speaker 10 (11:15):
So then what happened, Well, you know, I thought it
was a great night.
Speaker 11 (11:20):
And I left, and then now he's ghosting me, like,
I actually.
Speaker 10 (11:25):
Don't know why. I really thought it went well, and
I thought me going over to his place, I thought
that went well too. I'm not really sure and that's
why I need your help.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Okay, so you have not heard from Craig since you
were over at his house for the evening.
Speaker 11 (11:42):
Right, No, I haven't.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
Okay, all right, And have you reached out at all?
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Or you've just expected him to contact you, which I
guess I would expect too, since he was sort of,
you know, very very assertive, that was the word, you know,
up until this point.
Speaker 11 (11:54):
Yeah, I haven't reached out.
Speaker 10 (11:56):
I kind of feel how like what you're saying. I
feel like it's kind of up to him.
Speaker 11 (12:03):
So I haven't reached out.
Speaker 6 (12:05):
Yeah, I'm a little confused.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
Okay, Well, let's call Craig and in just a second, well,
place on, we'll come back. We'll do it, and we'll
see if we can get him on the phone and
ask these questions on your behalf, try and figure out
what's going on. And our hope is always and it
doesn't happen a lot, but it does happen sometimes. Our
hope is that we can set you up on another
date and pay for it.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
Sound good, Yeah, that sounds great.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
Let's find out what's going on.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
In part two of Waiting by the phone, Hey, Jane, Yes,
let's call Craig. You guys met at one of the
dating apps. I believe you said it was bumble you
went on a date. I mean, the things kind of
move fast. He was assertive. I keep saying the word assertive.
He was really on top of things.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
It's early.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
I can't come up with the synonym.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
But you guys met up and it was a great
date and back to his place and that went well
and everything was vibing. But you have not heard from
this dude since then, and you want to know why.
Speaker 11 (12:54):
Yes, that's exactly right.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
Let's call him right now.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Good luck. Hi is this Craig. It is Craig, Hi,
good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling from the
Fred's Show of the morning radio show, and the whole
crew is here, and I need to tell you that
we are on the radio right now and I would
need your permission to continue with the call.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
Can which have for just a minute? You can hang
up anytime? Sure? Okay, Well, thank you.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
We're calling on behalf of a woman who said she
met you online on one of the dating apps. Her
name is Janey. Do you remember meeting Janey and going
out with her? I do, yeah, Okay, so we just
talked to her. She reached out to us and told
us that she was into you and really liked your approach,
and that you had a great date the nice evening,
and that she hasn't heard from you since and it's
(13:46):
bugging her and she wants to know why.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
So would you mind telling us what's going on?
Speaker 6 (13:52):
Are you sure? Do you want to hear about this?
Speaker 2 (13:55):
I feel after that, I'm absolutely sure. I don't know
that I never want to hear anything more, so if
you would tell us what happened?
Speaker 12 (14:02):
Okay, So you know, the date I thought was going
pretty good. I thought you was cute and you know, funny.
So I invited it back to my place and we
started hanging out and we were, you know, talking and drinking,
and all of a sudden shift that she could rub
my feet.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Okay, all right, that's okay. Some people like, you know,
foot touching, some people don't. I can't say I've ever
asked for that before, but okay, so of all the things,
she's like, can I rub your feet?
Speaker 1 (14:31):
Great?
Speaker 2 (14:32):
And when?
Speaker 3 (14:32):
What's and what? Say? You?
Speaker 6 (14:35):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (14:36):
I wasn't that weird that?
Speaker 12 (14:37):
I mean usually I started with a kiss, but you know,
men don't usually get spoiled in this way.
Speaker 6 (14:41):
So I said sure.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
Okay, So you hadn't even kissed yet. No, right for
the feet, okay.
Speaker 5 (14:48):
All right, okay, I thought it was a little odd.
Speaker 12 (14:50):
All right, okay, but you know, to your point, at
first it felt really nice.
Speaker 6 (14:56):
And then she started sucking on my big too.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
Yeah, okay, I you know I saw this. I saw
this coming.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
I did.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
I saw it?
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Well, yeah, I just I had a gut feeling, you know,
I'm professional but doing this for a minute. Yeah, and
I could see where this was going. Okay, So, and
then how did we feel about that?
Speaker 3 (15:15):
Did we? I'm guessing not not great.
Speaker 6 (15:19):
I was a bit shocked.
Speaker 12 (15:20):
And then I became more shocked when she put my
entire flip in her mouth.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Oh wow, I mean that's yeah, that's I don't have
tiny feet?
Speaker 12 (15:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (15:34):
Yeah, which one is it?
Speaker 6 (15:36):
Twelve?
Speaker 3 (15:37):
Oh boy? Oh boy? I mean kudos kudos something? Wow? Okay,
So then what are you doing? And during all?
Speaker 2 (15:45):
I mean, are you just sort of like amazed? Are
you mistified? He stunned?
Speaker 3 (15:50):
I mean, what what are you doing during this?
Speaker 12 (15:52):
It's hard to even know because it felt like I
was in some sort of tractor being because the entire
time she was making eye contact with me.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
Okay, wow, And so so you just sort of go
with it, and then did things continue from there?
Speaker 3 (16:11):
Do we move on to other activities or or or no?
Speaker 6 (16:16):
I don't really know if it's right to go into that.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
And Okay, so it didn't stop you then, and so
we did move on, So maybe maybe we liked it
a little bit. Yeah, maybe let me bring Jane in though. Janey, Uh, Craig,
I'm sorry, I'm so forgetful. I just get caught up
in the story. I forget to the other person's here
the whole time.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
Wow. So you he.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Was appalled, I guess by that behavior, but it didn't
stop him from apparently continuing on with the evening and
the activities that you know that that's the activities and
then that.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
But that's why he's not calling you. It's the foot.
Speaker 11 (16:49):
Stuff that's that's like wild to me. I was just
we were about to hook up. Obviously we did hook up.
I was just setting the mood like I just wanted
to treat.
Speaker 6 (16:59):
You like a king.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
Yeah, you were so upset about it, Craig that you
kept going right.
Speaker 6 (17:04):
It's hard to go back once you're in that situation.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
But no, it's it's it's you just say no, and
move on to a different I mean, I think that's
the thing, Like maybe maybe she was trying something she
thought you would like it. You didn't like it, so
then you say no, I don't want to do that,
and then we move on to something else. There are
nice ways to do that. What we don't probably do
is then continue on and then not call someone back
because of the thing that you didn't vocalize you didn't want, right, no, right, absolutely, yeah,
(17:31):
you're shaming her for this thing, but you didn't stop her,
and it led to what I think to say, you
liked it.
Speaker 6 (17:37):
I liked the foot rub.
Speaker 12 (17:39):
I didn't like anything that came after that.
Speaker 8 (17:41):
I think I just don't know.
Speaker 10 (17:43):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (17:45):
I don't know how many guys she's done this too.
I don't know if she's ever gotten an in section
in her mouth.
Speaker 3 (17:50):
What I mean, but the other stuff, but you hit it.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
I like.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
You did that.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
No.
Speaker 12 (18:01):
I was walking around in bare feet the entire time
we were back at my apartment.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
Oh oh yeah, so Janny, this is something that you
like or or some of you thought he would like her.
Speaker 11 (18:14):
Both a little bit of both. I definitely like it,
and like you know, I was getting the vibe with
the foot rub, and I was like, maybe I'll just
try and see, like why not? And then we ended
up hooking up, so I thought it was great. I
thought he was like, great, keep doing it.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
I might have thought the same thing, because loo when
we're first meeting someone, we try different things, you know,
it's kind of a process of getting to know what
everyone likes that we got to be communicative. But I
feel like you're shaming Craig. You're shaming Jeanney for something
that you didn't actually dislike. It's like you're almost ashamed
of yourself.
Speaker 6 (18:49):
Don't I don't know what to say?
Speaker 12 (18:50):
Okay, Well I fel like I'm just gonna put my
foot in my mouth no.
Speaker 6 (18:53):
Matter what I say.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Why did I not see that coming?
Speaker 1 (18:58):
Janey?
Speaker 2 (18:59):
I mean normally normal would ask him if he wants
to go out with you again? But in this case,
I'm going to ask you do you want to go
out with him? Because I don't like I don't like this.
I don't I don't think.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
This is cool. You got to speak up if you're
going to shame someone.
Speaker 11 (19:10):
For something, right, I absolutely agree, and like this tells
me so much about him, Like will he speak up
when there's an actual problem. So no, no second date
for me.
Speaker 3 (19:22):
Well, Jess, there you go.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
So she doesn't want to go out with you anymore, Craig,
I don't doesn't something you want to go out with her?
Speaker 3 (19:28):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Maybe you're missing out. Maybe secretly you do, but nonetheless
it's it's not going to work out here, Craig. Thank
you for your time. Jenay, good luck to you as well.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Entertainment report is on the Bread Show.
Speaker 9 (19:40):
If you want to break from talking about Taylor Swift,
you're not going to get it here. Because odds to
be the super Bowl halftime performer performer for her have
gone up since her appearance on the New Heights podcast
last week. This trade company called call she k a
L s h I was giving Taylor just it's a
(20:00):
six percent chance to perform the halftime show as of
last Monday, but after appearing on the podcast for odds
have gone up as high as sixty five percent. Swifties
believe that she dropped several hints during the podcast, like going.
Speaker 8 (20:13):
On and on about sourdough.
Speaker 9 (20:15):
Apparently there was a reason, or maybe there was a reason,
this year's Super Bowl will be held in Santa Clara,
where the fourner forty nine ers play and the mascot
is Sourdough Sam, which I had no idea. Other hints
included her thinking about sourdough bread quote sixty percent of
the time, and this season Super Bowl will be number sixty. Also,
(20:38):
after Jason gave her that long intro, she thanked him
for quote screaming for like forty seven seconds. Levi's Stadium
also happened to be the forty seven stop on our
eras tour. I also saw another football theory where someone
pointed out that you remember the teaser where she's like,
I like your sweatshirt and he's like, yeah, it's blue
like your eyes, and they were really emphasizing the blue. Well,
(20:59):
someone pointed out that it was a similar shade to
what the Lions wear.
Speaker 8 (21:02):
It's called Honolulu blue.
Speaker 9 (21:04):
And then during the podcast, she brought up Jared Goff,
the Lions quarterback. If you look up the day that
the Lions play the Chiefs, it's October twelfth in Kansas City,
So that date may be something.
Speaker 3 (21:14):
Girls like how you like how you You're like?
Speaker 2 (21:18):
Someone said, no, it was you and Jason with a
transcript a conference.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
Room last year.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
I saw you on Friday going through it word for word. Yeah,
I like someone in a quote.
Speaker 8 (21:28):
Yeah right, we had protractors. Yeah we had Yeah, we
were we were full blown analysts. Figured it out.
Speaker 5 (21:35):
That is crazy.
Speaker 9 (21:36):
So here's my only hesitation on this theory is, and
Trevis talked about this in his g Q article, but
people have been accusing him of slipping and focusing on
other stuff and that's why he had a bad season.
And he kind of admitted it in that article, being like,
it's not that I didn't care about football. It said
I was giving too many things one hundred percent. And
so that's why he was back in Florida to train
with the guy who initially trained him to be in
(21:58):
the NFL. He's like, I need to be better for
my guys this season. So I just wondered, there's so
much pressure on him to be better. It could turn
really bad if like he doesn't make it to the
Super Bowl or if like he I don't know. That's
my only hesitation, but I know people are hoping for
that and think that's happening. By the way, Taylor said
she also worked with Max Martin on this new album,
(22:19):
The Absolute Legend and speaking of Max, he went to
see the Backstree Boys at the Sphere over the weekend
and they gave him a really big shout out with
how he's saying he's helped us create our legacy and
the soundtrack to our lives. He wrote all those hit
songs that we get a chance to sing for you, guys,
we are indebted to mister Max Martin and he if
you don't know about him, he recently was named Billboard's
Top Producer of the twenty first century. And he is
(22:42):
a Swedish hit maker who has worked with the Backstory
Boy since the very beginning, writing and producing their very
first debut single, We've Got to Going On, which was
dropped in September of nineteen ninety five. He went on
to work on iconic BSB hits like I Want It
that Way, Everybody, Backstreets, back Shape of My Heart, just
to name a few. So he is a legend and
(23:02):
also worked on Taylor's album with her.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
And English is not his first language, which is why
apparently I Want It that Way?
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Does it make a whole lot of sense?
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Right, Because then when they went and tried to make
it make sense, it was like, nah, we'll go with
the version that doesn't make sense.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
It sounds better.
Speaker 9 (23:16):
Yeah, I don't ever want to hear you say I
want it that way.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
No, I don't ever want that either ever.
Speaker 8 (23:22):
And this is the story I teased.
Speaker 9 (23:24):
Riley Green went on the Pat McAfee show and told
a story about how early in his career he was
denied the opportunity to open for Travis Tritt because he
didn't have enough Facebook followers. At the time, Riley said
he had very minimal social media presence and he was
still working in construction.
Speaker 8 (23:40):
He was literally framing houses during the week. He needed
to pay his bills.
Speaker 9 (23:44):
He said he was unaware of the industry's emphasis on
online followings for booking decisions. Today, he has over two
point five million Instagram followers, one point six on TikTok,
seven hundred and fifty three thousand on Facebook, and one
hundred and sixty thousand on x But that is a
very silly reason not to let someone open up.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
But he showed them because they wouldn't let us open
for Travis Tridd either. So if you would take a second,
it's Fred Show Radio. Search for the Fred Show in
all the different places. So because we're aspiring to open
for a Kiki, especially for Travis Tridd.
Speaker 8 (24:16):
If my life depends on it, please go follow us.
Yeah please, I just want to feed my dog, Yeah, Luxi's.
Speaker 9 (24:22):
To eat you guys, So follow us, and then if
you want to catch up on anything type the Fred

Speaker 2 (24:29):
All right, Chobs, Shelley our pop culture expert. It's her game.

only lost seventy times, answered them a three game win streak.

have the answers and you're ready to go, because that's
where we get the questions from all the different entertainment reports,
which are live of course and on the iHeart app
(24:49):
as well. But still people lose. So whatever I'll keep
saying it, then people will keep losing. Eight five, five, five, nine,
one three five call now, do you have what it's.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Takes to battle show biz? Shelley in the show Biz Showdown?
Speaker 3 (25:04):

Speaker 1 (25:10):
Showbiz? Fred?
Speaker 8 (25:12):
All my weekends are the same.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
You know, I asked you every Monday, and I guess
I'm just hoping for a different answer.
Speaker 3 (25:19):
You know, I'm Monday.
Speaker 8 (25:20):
I'm hoping one day I will know.
Speaker 7 (25:22):

two kids and just it's I don't know. My my
mom comes in, so it'll it'll be better. It's just
a lot. Yeah, So it's just.
Speaker 2 (25:36):
One time I'm gonna ask you, and I'm gonna be like,
you know what I gave. I gave the kids away.
I gave him away, and I went out and I
got wild and crazy and I should be a ford
a lot and I drank all the tequila and it
was crazy. It was wild and insane. That's what he sid.
Speaker 7 (25:50):
You're gonna say the story though, like not like drinking's
not as bad.
Speaker 8 (25:53):
I'm like, you got I don't know, I'm not, I haven't.
Speaker 7 (25:55):
