I mean, Maya's got my back case of the X
is like one of my favorite songs of all time.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Do you have any idea what she may have thought
she saw? It was upsetting to.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
Her, Like I honestly think it was a case of
classic mistaken identity. She thought I was a hater. But
because there's just no way on a shanty. There's just
no way.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
She's a queen.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Yeah, there's no way. So we'll get to the bottom
of this. Sure, I'm gonna be sure and bring it up.
See if I can make you know, I may do
a leap a cry. We'll see if I can make
a shanty cry that'd be equally iconic. And when you

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Wait and Kiki, you have a demographic of fans that
I never knew about. Really, it is fifty plus year
old white men. What did I come give me here?
Every day Fread's show is on. Man, some of you
guys have texted the meanest stuff that you said in

(02:30):
fights with people. I don't know if I can say
some of this stuff. Can I read this one?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
I don't, so.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
I'll paraphraid judge. This is a tax day five five
five five. I once told my ex no, wonder his dad,
who removed himself from the world. He couldn't stand living
seeing the bee of a son that he has.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
I mean a few examples.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
I've said some really mean things to people, but nothing like,
oh my god, I don't involve your parents.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Keep keep your mama out of this. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I once told an ex tering an argument an abusive
argument that his mom was his mom dying by getting
hit by a tree probably wasn't an accident.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Dealing with him.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
WHOA, Oh my god, you guys they're actually are nice
to us then our listeners, because they could be saying
stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
This is what they're keeping right.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
My boyfriend got me really mad and I said, do
me dirty.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
I don't care. I have a list of guys waiting
to date me.

Speaker 6 (03:43):
I say that every day nobody was there.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Don't let them know that. Though some of these are bad.
Going through some of these.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
During a fight, my wife told me nothing important ever
comes out of your mouth.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
That's amazing.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
That could be Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
My fiance had a hematoma from football when he was
like eight, and one time I told him, sometimes you're
so dumb. It's very obvious you had head injury growing up.

Speaker 7 (04:20):
Wow, I'm getting ideas, you guys.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
It is a really good one in there.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Which one.

Speaker 6 (04:27):
Well, this lady she was like, no, wonder I had
your son on the E way because that is where
accidents happen. Oh, so she called her own kid an accident,
but she kind with that though.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Wow, I don't know who that's a bigger disco.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Little own mom.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Your kid was an accident.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Wow, like my own mom turned on me that I
need to reassess what I'm doing with a lot of things.
Waiting by the phone is new and next, why did
somebody get ghosted?

Speaker 2 (04:53):
After?

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Blogs are audio journals? Kiki eleven one hundred bucks in
the showdown Game Show Wednesday, definitely gonna be and Kiki
karaoke this morning as well, all in the next ninety
minutes or so. And of course you're expected to listen
to all of that on the radio and the iHeart app.
You can catch up if you do miss it, search
for the Fred Show on demand, Magus a preset.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
What are working on for a port?

Speaker 8 (05:12):
K Miley Cyrus talking about why her fans no longer
have as much access to her. Also, if you went
to see Shakira recently, you may have a contagious infection.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Oh yeah, and that's a fun kind either talk. Yeah,
they talk better than they tell me.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
These are the radio blogs on The Fred Show, like
for writing in our diaries, except we say to them aloud. Paulina,
Yes that's from vacation. Tell us all about it.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Go oh, thank you so much, dear blog.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
I am back.

Speaker 7 (05:42):
The bee is back, and uh you know I did
that did a thing called Disney. Well, first, first, this
is crazy. I went to Affluence Palm Springs. You guys
know what happened to Palm Springs the day I flew in? No?

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Oh, yeah there was there was a Yeah, there was
a terrorist attack there.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
Literally a mile away from me eating at Lulu's Mike
Walking Chips.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Yes, that was wild because there was a bombing there
last week.

Speaker 7 (06:04):
You know, it was crazy. Nothing really happens in Palm Springs.
It's pretty it's pretty bellow. So that was really interesting
to deal with. I mean, I was fine, it was fine,
And I don't know exactly the details of that.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
I know they're still kind of coming out, but yeah,
and I feel bad I didn't reach out to you.
I didn't realize the order. I didn't realize you were
there when that happened. Yeah, no, no, no, it's totally fine.

Speaker 7 (06:20):
I mean I'm not making about me at all. It's
just like, was crazy because I've been there so many
times and I love it there, and like, what are
the odds of that happening? And I know in southern
California it's found the news like every day, so I'm like, whoa,
this is like kind of a big deal. I mean,
of course it was a fertility clig. It was it
was wild. Oh yeah, all is wild though for me.
And then you know, we we moved on then from
Palm Springs and we my my husband, my daughter, and

(06:42):
I and my sister in law Ariel. We went to Disneyland.
And I know you said that you grew up going
there a lot f.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Yeah, which is where we went because growing up in
Arizona you went to Disneyland.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
How far is the flight? I was thinking about that yesterday. Oh,
that's not bad.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Wow, that's not that.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
We didn't go to disney We went to disney World
one time, but that was like a that was that's
a whole thing. Florida. It was like, you know, that
was like the organ trail. Yeah, you know, I'm having
to strap us up and take us across the country.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
It was a big deal. No, I mean even for us.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
I feel like it is.

Speaker 7 (07:09):
That's why I chose Land because I felt like, maybe
it's a little more chill. I know, there's two parks.
I'm so bad at this. There's two theme parks. There's
Disneyland and there's California Adventure. Was that around when you
they didn't have that when I was a kid. Now, okay,
so now you get to pick the chew. It's two
different tickets. It's like a whole thing. I chose Disneyland
because you only had one day and I had a
one year old with me, so I was like, let's
just experience Disneyland. It was a baby. It's very interesting,

(07:32):
it's very different. But it was beautiful in a way too,
because my daughter, I dressed her up a snow white.
We did the whole thing. We did a princess for
expensive Princess breakfast.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
How much is princess breakfast? Oh tell me, do you
want to know how much?

Speaker 7 (07:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:44):
How much was Princess breakfast for three adults one child? Yeah?
It was five dollars one for Princess breakfast. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
I almost like to cry. Its placed on.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Oh my nieces, Like, don't I hope they'd like to
read books and watch their in their houses because I
want her bucks to take those kids to meet a princess.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
I didn't expect that good.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
The food was gone.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
I'll give you that.

Speaker 7 (08:09):
I mean, I love breakfast food. I love anything breakfast,
so like to me, it was delicious. It was the
best breakfast I ever had. And it's a baby, so.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
I'm sure she's like you, that was more about you
than her, right, because she enjoyed it, but like it's
she's not like she's probably not gonna remember it.

Speaker 7 (08:23):
She's her head from her ass, so she doesn't know anything.
Like she was just there like vibe and having a
good time.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Was you don't remember the look on her face and
the way you felt when she saw the princesses and stuff.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Yes, you'll remember that.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
I will forever.

Speaker 7 (08:36):
And that's why I'm so happy we did it, because
she was so happy and I have photos and I
posted a couple, but she's so happy. She doesn't know
who she's looking at and what princess this is, but
she was just so into it. And then I didn't admit,
like I'll admit that I cried, and Hobby gave me
the whole like you're not gonna be.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
That parent, are you? And I was like bawling, And.

Speaker 7 (08:54):
Then Princess Aurora comes around and she's looking at me.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
I'm looking at her.

Speaker 7 (08:58):
She can't break character and she's probably wondering why I'm crying.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
But what made you emotional about it?

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Just that you were able to take her or that
like she was able to experience that or what made
you so emotional?

Speaker 7 (09:07):
I think I'm living my childhood kind of for her,
and I think I'm experiencing that because I never got
to go to Land or World as a kid.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
I went when I was obviously much much older.

Speaker 7 (09:17):
But I feel like it's cool to be able to
see your child live this magic.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
If you will, like I don't.

Speaker 7 (09:24):
I don't know, And I know she doesn't know the
characters yet, nothing like that, but I do because I
grew up with all the princesses.

Speaker 8 (09:28):
That photo I showed everyone was the cutest thing I've
ever seen of her smiling at Jasmine.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Yes, oh, my ovaries.

Speaker 7 (09:37):
It was like such an experience I mean for me,
like we won't probably do that for a very very
long time ever again, but like to have that experience
with her was really beautiful.

Speaker 3 (09:46):
And I don't know, I was just I was just
bawling my eyes out. And we met Mulan.

Speaker 7 (09:49):
I loved Mulan growing up, Like you know, I'll make
a man out of you, like that was my jam.
That's a great song, and that's why why I am
the way I am, why we are the way we are,
Like Oh, I love that. And she gets to meet
a lot and they're so in character though, these princesses,
it's like the funniest thing.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
You kind of want to like break them out of it, bigure,
like what are you doing after this.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Break and they're just like.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
So many smoking. Yeah, I just want to see it. Yeah,
but there.

Speaker 7 (10:17):
It was such a cool experience and I highly recommended,
and like I said, we will be back for probably
a very long time.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
But it is because you got to start saving now yesterday.
I can't believe how expensive it is to go to
that stuff. Yeah, for a breakfast. Then you guys don't
have tickets right to get to be able to go
to the breakfast.

Speaker 7 (10:33):
Tickets and the drinks that we had to purchase because
you know, we have to have a drink at Disney,
because you're gonna go, You're you're gonna have a drink.
And then the extra food and just everything else. It
all adds up. So you know, I'll be working overtime now.
You'll hear me on the radio till over the weekend,
working over. The pictures were amazing, Welcome back, waiting by

(10:54):
the phone. Why did somebody get ghosted?

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Brand New? The next Red show. I've ever been left
waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
Hey, Brianna, Hi, Hi Brianna, good morning, Welcome to the show.
I want to hear about this guy, Alex. Tell us
how you met, about any dates you've been on, and
then where things are now.

Speaker 4 (11:13):
Yeah, So we met like everyone does on in Bumble,
and we grabbed drinks. Honestly, it was great. I felt
like I could really talk to him about anything. I
was really looking forward to seeing him again, you know.
But after the date, he literally never reached out to me.

(11:34):
I have no idea what happened.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Really, Okay, so you look back on this date and
you felt like the conversation was good. I mean, these
are all the questions I always ask. But there was chemistry.
I mean, you know, oh my god, yeah, you look
like your pictures, he looked like his. I mean, I'm
trying to think of all the things that usually go
wrong with these dating app dates. I mean, a normal
date in by every definition.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
Like, nothing was weird. We were flirty, I had a
really good time. So I'm just like confused why he
just wouldn't at least like text me. You know.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
Yeah, and you mentioned in the note you mentioned that
you know, there was a kind of a in my words,
but a comfort in the communication. Like you guys, you
really felt like you could talk to him about anything,
and and there was just a natural nature to it
all you said, it.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
Was like it was, it felt very easy. We definitely
had it like a connection.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Okay, except you haven't heard a word from this guy
since to day. Have you reached out to him at
all or are you just waiting for him, you know,
as the man, as the gentleman to reach out to
ask you out.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
Well, I was waiting at first, but then a couple
of days went by, so I did text him and nothing.
He didn't respond.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Okay, so he's ghosting you, it would appear. But here's
the thing. We're gonna call this guy Alex. You'll be
on the phone at the same time. We're going to
ask these questions on your behalf, try and figure out
what's going on. You know, the guy. There could be
some other explanation. Maybe he does want to see you again.
And if that's the case, then we're going to set
you up on that date and pay for it.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Okay, Oh my god, it I would love that. Let's
find out what's going on. Part two of Waiting.

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Met the phone after this song, So brin a carpenter
back in two minutes. It's the Fred Show. One hundred
bucks in this showdown on the Fred Show. If you
can beat Kieky in five questions, that money is yours
in about ten minutes. Hey, Brianna, right, all right, let's
call this guy Alex. You met on one of the
dating apps and you, guys, you felt like you connected.
It was bumble that you met on and then you

(13:27):
went on this date and you felt like you connected
in person. You were attracted to him, You felt like
that was mutual. The conversation was flowing, there was a comfort,
there was I mean a lot of good things happen
on this date. Except you haven't heard from this guy.
You've reached out to him, he hasn't responded to you.
So it would appear that you're being ghosted.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
I mean, I'm one hundred percent being ghosted. I just
don't know why.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
All right, Well, let's call Alex now and try and
figure this out. Good luck, Brianna, thank you. Hello, Hi
isus Alex. This is him Alex. Good morning. My name
is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred's show, the Morning
radio Show. And I do have to tell you that
we are on the radio right now, and I would

(14:08):
need your permission to continue with the call. Said, okay,
if we chat for just a second on the show,
you can hang up anytime. A sure, sure, Well, thank
you very much. We're calling on behalf of a woman
named Brianna who says she met you on Bumble, the
dating app, and you, guys recently went out on a
date to you remember meeting her?

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Yeah, I remember. Okay, he's pretty cool. She's pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Well, okay, that's I guess that's better than I was expecting, because,
you know, we just talked to her and she told
us about your date and had a lot of nice
things to say about you and felt like there was
good chemistry and all kinds of things. Except she says
she can't get a hold of you since the date,
So why are you not reaching out? Why are you
not responding? I mean, you know, if she was cool,
then what's the problem.

Speaker 9 (14:52):
Okay she I mean, yeah, she was cool. She's not
wrong about the date.

Speaker 2 (14:55):
The date was really good.

Speaker 9 (14:57):
Actually I was actually really into her. But it was
during the date that she said something to me that
was a little concerning.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Well, do tell I mean, I'm on the edge of
my seat. What did she tell you that was concerning?

Speaker 9 (15:09):
Okay, she told me that she feels like she might
be asexual. I was pretty sure I knew what that meant,
but I had to ask her just in case, and
she confirmed, like, it means that you're not sexually attracted
to anyone. So what am I supposed to do with that?

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Like?

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Why was I even there? Well, I'm okay, hopefully for
more than just wait.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
Can I just say something like?

Speaker 1 (15:30):
All right?

Speaker 3 (15:30):
Well, can I just say sometime.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
It is Brianna Alex. I forgot to mention that Brianna
is here. I'm extremely forgetful. I'm sorry about that. I
was going to try and get some more information, but
uh yeah, Brianna, go ahead and say something. You can
say something. What what does it mean when you tell
I mean, I think we all know what we think
we know at least when you tell a man on
a date that you're asexual? How is he supposed to
interpret that?

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Okay, but I didn't actually say I was asexual. I
said like I might be asexual. And I only said
that because, like we were both sharing things, and like,
I just I felt really comfortable sharing that with him,
but now he's judging me for it, So I really
just I don't think that that's fair.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Okay, But here's the thing, Brianna. If I'm Alex, you
can tell me if I'm wrong. But if I want
a date with you and we have chemistry and we're
attracted to each other, even if that's not going to happen,
date one right away, right now, across the table, you know,
on the dinner table. I mean, what I'm hearing you
say is I may not be a sexual person and
so this relationship might not include that or a lot

(16:33):
of that, and I don't I don't know. I can
see how if I first met someone, if I'm being
really honest, I mean, you'd like to believe, well, it's
more than that.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
But I mean, if the only.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
Thing you care about is sex, then I guess that's
not what I said.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
That's not what he said either, But I mean I
can understand why you're on this date. You're like, Okay,
so wait a minute, so that's never happening, then I
guess or not a lot.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
That's like not answer at all.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
It's just so rude.

Speaker 9 (16:59):
Like I was reached, Alex, what are you thinking? My
thing is it's fine, a very a sexual.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
But my thing is like.

Speaker 9 (17:07):
I don't that's not all I care about is sex.
But eventually a natural progression of a relationship.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
Will lead down that road. I think that's like, you know, I.

Speaker 9 (17:16):
Just at that point, I'm like, well, for me, that's
a natural progression of a relationship. A sexual that's fine.
I'm not asexual. I'm a sexual being.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
I'm not a sexual being. See here's the thing, And
I don't know enough about this. Maybe there are people
who are a sexual who can straighten us out. But
I would guess an asexual person would be best suited
with another asexual person because my you know, just my
my naive. Maybe it's naevia table, but I would think
that if one person is a sexual person and the
other ones not, that's going to be very frustrating for

(17:46):
probably both sides, right, because you got one person that
wants to do that, the other person that doesn't, So
you're probably both annoyed. So how would that work, Brianna,
if in fact you are not as interested or at all.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
I mean I never that I wasn't interested. I'm the
one that's going out of their way to figure out
what happened. So like, I never said I wasn't interested.
I was just sharing a part of myself that I
thought would have been accepted considering we weren't talking about
each other's lives. I know better now, well share much

(18:23):
of myself until later.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
No, I don't think anyone's saying that, Brianna. I think
that there's if you do say that, then there's a
chance it's going to be interpreted a good chance the
way that I think everybody here has interpreted it, and
it might not. I mean, it might need a little
further explanation. Because again, if you're someone who likes an
activity and someone else says I'm just not into that activity,
well I don't know that.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
You know, you just say I wasn't into the activity
of sex. I just said that I might be a sexual.
There's a difference. And the thing is he doesn't know
the difference. And okay, that's fine, but I like to
just not respond or not reach out at all. It's
just it's childish.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
But if I say to you, Brionna, I don't even
know why I'm trying to defend this. Somebody if I
say to you, I might be a vegetarian, that might
indicate to other people that I don't eat a lot
of meat, you know, I mean, And then you might say,
you know, well, I I mean again, and that's not
a reason not to go out with somebody. But like,
if I'm beginning to feel that I might be, you know,
fall under a particular you know, sort of description, well,

(19:28):
