Speaker 1 (00:00):
It is the French Show one three five Kiss FM
in Chicago's number one of music station, Good Morning Everyone,
Sweno's tickets, Tacos and Tequila Festival, Ali and AJ tickets.
Got those all this week and then one thousand bucks
thirteen chances to get your bills paid just after eight
is your first shot. I went to a benefit on
Friday night for first responders for the it was it

(00:21):
was a foundation.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I don't have it like the line. I believe what
it was called Ella.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
French and her partner and they it's in honor of
her memory raising money for first responders.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
And a legend was among the group.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Eddie was there from Eddie and Jobo, and I'd be
lying right for the guy. I took a picture with
him and it was very strange because he listens to
us now with his daughter. He was thirteen going to
school in the morning.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
I just got shows and no.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
It's funny because first of all, you got the legend
listening to us, which is amazing. Second of all, I
said to him, like, does your thirteen year old daughter
realize that you were that you were him?

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yeah, you were the girl you were you were him?

Speaker 2 (01:00):
And he's like, oh, she has no idea. I doesn't care.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
But I'm like, so you're driving to work listening to us,
but you were ten times us, you know, I don't know. Yeah,
your kid has no idea you were him. They never
do back in the day. But anyway, shout out to Eddie,
who's a listener of the show. That was was pretty wild.
I'll be honest with you. It was a little surreal
to hear him talking about us. This morning, we're celebrating

(01:26):
another legend and that's our friend Marshall.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Our friend Marshall.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Now you remember from the radiothon in December, the Larry
Children's Hospital radio thon, Marshall was waiting for a new
heart at Lurie. He'd been waiting for a very long time.
He got his heart early this year, right, Yeah, And
now he's going back to school today. He has not
been back to school in three hundred and seventy six
days since his transplant surgery. And today he's going back

(01:52):
in Hinckley and they're having a parade for him. And
he's going to school in a Tesla truck this morning
and we're in the parade. We got the we got
the kiss vehicle out there Brady's going out there. We
got gifts for him. There's some kind of bullhorn involved.
I saw there was the procurement of a bullhorn over
the weekend. I don't know where we got the money

(02:13):
for that.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
It was on my front porch when I got home, Yes, Saturday,
it's the bullhorn.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
But we're so excited for him that he's uh, I mean,
that's amazing. After over a year of not being able
to go to school waiting for his heart, he's got
his heart. He's back in school now and we're really
happy for him and his family. So yeah, So if
you see some commotion this morning at Big Rock Elementary School,
then that's that's for our boy Marshall, who's headed back
to school this morning with his brand new heart. It's

(02:39):
the Fred Show. I've had enough Sabrina Carpenter with that
single espresso. But Kiki, you got what.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Bread show is on?

Speaker 1 (02:50):

How are you hey?

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Thanks for having me? Well, thank you all.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Right, Well, hey, it's our pleasure. Maybe remains to be seen.
I'll tell you in ten minutes. But what's going on
with this woman?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Sierra?

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Tell us how you met, about any dates you've been on,
and then what's going on now and how.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
We can help? Yeah, so we met.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
On Hinge she was smoking hot. We uh yeah, once
we matched, you know, conversation was amazing. We have the
same interest, same humor. She just like super flirty. Right
off of that, everything was great. So, yeah, got her number,

(04:24):
asked her out, and she said, yeah, just got some drinks.
She was like even more beautiful in person. I guess
she was a little shy. Maybe she was nervous. I'm
not sure, but yeah, that was I mean, that was.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Like I said.

Speaker 5 (04:46):
Other than that, I thought we had a great date. Afterwards,
I asked her if she got home. Okay, she told
me she did, thanked me for drinks. But after that,
like hear back from her, like yeah, so I don't
know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
So now we're here, all right.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
So, I mean there was some communication directly after the date,
like same day, but then like next day and beyond
that nothing.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
She started to GHOSTEO at that path. Oh yeah, pretty much.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
All right, Well, let's call Sierra. You're gonna be on
the phone Jesse at the same time. Let's see if
we can get you some info before you jump in.
But at some point you're welcome to jump in, and
the hope is that we can set you guys up
on another date and pay for it.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
All right, cool, Thank you? Let's see what's going on?

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Part two of Waiting Metaphone After Goga, Bruno Mars back
your two minutes Fred's Show, Idiots, the French Show on
the radio and the iHeart app. You can listen live
at any time. Search put a Fred's show on demand
and make us a preset. Hey, Jesse, Hey, what's up?

Speaker 6 (05:43):
All right?

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Let's called Sierra.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
You guys recently went on a date and you thought
everything went really well, except you have not heard from
her since the date. I mean, like you did mention
she was a little bit shy on the date, and
but you thought it went well, and then you texted
her to make sure she get home and she responds
did and you know whatever. But then since then you
haven't heard a single word and you have no idea.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Why Yeah, nothing, Yeah, no idea. What's called Sierra?

Speaker 6 (06:08):
Now?

Speaker 2 (06:09):
Good luck? Jesse? Thank you?

Speaker 6 (06:19):
Hello?

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Hi is this Sierra?

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Hey, good morning.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
My name is Fredam calling from the Fred Show, the
morning radio show, and I have to tell you that
we are on the radio right now and I would
need your permission to continue with the call. Can which
that for a couple of minutes on the radio, would
you mind fuck Oh guess, I know it's a little
bit strange. I do understand that party, but thank you.
We're calling on behalf of someone who reached out to us.
His name is Jesse. I guess you met him on

(06:44):
his dating app and you went out.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Okay, okay, you no joke? Yeah, I mean, I don't know,
it's no.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
I mean he reached out to us and he said
he liked you a lot after your date, and uh,
and it's surprised he hasn't heard from you since then.
He wanted to go out with you again, so he's
us to kind of figure out what's going on. Why
are you not reaching out to him anymore?

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Oh, it's pretty simple.

Speaker 6 (07:05):
I mean he showed up to the date in a
full face of makeup, like blush, fake lashes, lipstick, eye shadowed,
the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
I don't judge, but like, it was just kind.

Speaker 6 (07:18):
Of shocking because he had no pictures like zero of
him with makeup all of you know, his dating profile
or socials, and honestly, he seemed very masculine on the
you know apps, and uh, he.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
He did on the date too, just with tons and
tons of makeup on.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
So wow, full face, you are you are a special lady.
I mean he really he did his big one just
for you.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Now, was he was?

Speaker 6 (07:44):
He?

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Did he look nice? Did you like did you like
to look?

Speaker 3 (07:46):
It was absolutely?

Speaker 2 (07:48):
It was just shocking more than anything.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
And he did he did a good job at his makeup,
if that's what you're saying, but I'm not.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
I just was like, what, I feel like there should
be some kind of heads up or something.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Now when you look at like when you were looking
at him with the dating apps and stuff, if he
didn't have any of this, then like maybe you couldn't tell.
I guess if it was you know, a good good anyway,
you wouldn't know.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
No, I mean he did not.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
He did not look he looked again. He looked very
masculine on the dating apps, just like I like them.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
And so that's you.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
The makeup is feminine. I'm just trying to make sure
I understand your position here and then you you don't
want to be with the guy who wears as much
or more makeup than you do. Yeah, that's a sentence
I didn't think I would say today. I feel like
every day I say a sentence I didn't think I
would say. But let me bring in in Jesse Jesse
full face of makeup?

Speaker 6 (08:32):
Right?

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Is that is that correct? Did she? Did she observe properly?
I mean, yeah, I always wearing makeup, but it wasn't
like that much like I was a clown or something.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
Take glasses all out, you know. I'm just mean, you know,
I'm just making sure I understand what I'm setting the scene.
I'm changing the picture. I'm making a picture Paulina building.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Oh, you're right building it? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (08:55):
What like what am I supposed to do? Like I
text you before, like to tell you I'm a makeup
like it's twenty twenty five.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
Yeah, and twenty twenty five?

Speaker 6 (09:06):
Like communications like really in two you know what I mean,
like some form of communication about it.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
How long have you worn a shot? How long have
you worn this much makeup?

Speaker 1 (09:15):
I mean you have like a And I'm being honestly,
I'm I'm asking the question, do you have like a
skin condition or are you trying to cover something up?
I mean I've heard, I mean I have I have
a little concealer at the crib mane. Yeah, I have
some man seialor I've been known to put a little
drop or two, you know, to cover like an ingrown hair, like.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Yeah, okay, I don't look Hey, go off, Fredericka.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
I have you never heard that before? I think I
think men do that sometimes.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Yeah, they do.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
I don't like different guys. I don't have eyelashes different
right now today, I'm not. I don't have them on now.
You know, lipstick might be a little extreme and like,
you know, like foundation and things like that. I don't
think i'd go that for man, because I'm too lazy.
I'd probably look better. But I mean, I hate I
hate to say that. You know, it's masculine, feminine. I
hate to get into all that, but I just say time.

(10:00):
I mean, I think, you know, some women like men
to be what they consider men to be more traditional.
I don't know, like carrying an axe and cutting trees
down and stuff. I don't know, is that is that
kind of what you're saying, Sierra is, Hey, you want
to wear makeup? Fine, that's just that what you're into.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Yeah, and also maybe give a heads up to the
next woman you've go on a date with.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
That's weird.

Speaker 1 (10:21):
I mean, how's he supposed to say that? Like, Hey,
you're not going to believe the beat I just got
on my face, he.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Doesn't put it on his social media photo. Is different
than right that you nailed it?

Speaker 6 (10:33):
No different than being like, I'm six foot something and
then you show up your five foot eight.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Right now, How would you be able to tell if
he didn't have makeup on in the pictures? I mean
you could tell if he didn't have eyelashes, But how
would you really know a in a profile.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Picture lavener eyeshadow and lipstick. Yeah, yeah, you would know
that that's true. That's true.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
And Jesse, this is something that you just started doing
or you tried it out for the stage, or like
if it's not happening in the pictures, Nah, when did
you decide the full face of makeup was the move?

Speaker 5 (11:07):
I mean, I've been doing this for a while, but
it's like it's not I don't know whatever that's it's
not that much like it's not like she's just making
you sound like I'm wearing like a ton of makeup.
I mean, yeah, I like do my face up like
it looks nice. I don't understand what the problem is.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Yeah, I don't want you to feel bad about it,
and you could do whatever you want right like, but
you I think you probably also have to understand that.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
True, it's well good, but you have to know, hey,
you do you and with the sas too.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
But I just think anytime you're doing something that's vastly
different from how you represented yourself on the profile, aren't
you kind of asking for You're kind of asking for
some some questions, right, I mean you want to you
want to show up the way you look, the way
that someone you know swiped right on you, wouldn't you think?

Speaker 5 (11:55):
I mean I was wearing makeup in some of my pictures,
just like it wasn't waring maybe as much, or I
was wearing something different, but like I don't know what
that's all?

Speaker 6 (12:06):
Right?

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Well, I mean jealous, like because my bee was better
than hers, That's right.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
I mean, look, you do you you know, whatever it
is that you do, you'd have to understand that it
may not look I have a beard, right, like, I
have a I don't know, it's more than stuble. I
think that that is something that people are attracted and
I realize it's different than wearing makeup. I'm not being
that softer piece, but I'm saying I have a beard, right, so,
and I think women are attracted to that or some
are so that if I show up without a beard,

(12:34):
I look like a different person. And you might say, like,
I wouldn't take it personally if you were like I
like the beard. I've had people say to me, I
like the beard better, and so I can't really I
mean it's superficial, yes, but I mean I don't know.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
We've had people on the show.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
Before who they matched with a blonde and then the
person shows up and they have black hair, you know,
or like dark dark dark hair, and that's not what
they matched with, and so it wasn't disappealing to them.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
So you kind of have to understand that, right.

Speaker 5 (13:04):
Yeah, for sure, you know, maybe I'll like, maybe I'll
get some more pictures with like kind of my more
like updated look.

Speaker 6 (13:13):
But I guess.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
We got a girl, Zoe Rain we got and we'll
get your face beat too.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
What's your name? I mean, love with it, Laura, Lauren
la we'll hook you up. We'll hook you up body
By Lauren, you know photos By. It's an amazing photographer. Yeah,
we'll get your spray tanned up. Man wax if you
I don't know, maybe you're not if you want to
get wax or whatever. We that was okay, all right,

(13:40):
we've found the limit, Kaitlin. All right, Sierra, I'll ask
the question he wants to I mean, I guess we
don't know how he's going to show up to the
date because he wants to do what he wants to do.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
What would you like to go out with him? Again?
We'll pay for it?

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Thank you?

Speaker 2 (13:53):
All right?

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Hey, Jesse, good luck to you, and you know you'll
find somebody who's not jealous of your beat.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
And Sierra, thank you for your time as well. Thaps,
I will push that's right.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
The entertainment report is next to two minutes after the
weekend five hundred and fifty Bucks with Kiki in the showdown.
Right after that, it's the frend Show back.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
In too Callin's Entertainment Report and he's on the Bread Show.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
Today is the day jury selection begins in New York
for Ditty's impending trial. Of course, the defense will have
a much more difficult time because there's no such thing
as an unbiased jury in this case. I mean, there's
pretty much no chance of finding a prospective juror in
New York or anyone anywhere else in the country for
that matter, that hasn't formed an opinion already on this case.

(14:41):
As for their game plan, instead of simply asking a
perspective juror if they can have an open mind, they're
actually asking if they've ever held a view that was
important to them but they were able to change their mind,
and what that situation was. They want specifics other factors
to consider. The Cassie video could seal Ditty's fate. Even
though he's not being charged for the brutality scene in

(15:02):
the video, it certainly tells a very powerful story and
she will be testifying. There's also going to be logistical issues,
as a number of prospective jurors will be excused because
sitting through a two month trial during the summer is
a lot. I mean, they did a whole SNL skit
on all the excuses that people come up with for
why they can't do jury duty, along with many who

(15:23):
will be excused because they can't overcome their own biases.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
So they have their work cut out for them.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Ryan Reynolds is actually in the early stages of putting
together a Deadpool movie that would see him team up
with the X Men, and I need the nerds to
correct me if I'm wrong, because you know I'm doing
the story for you guys.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
But I'm not really a Marvel girly.

Speaker 4 (15:42):
The movie would focus on three or four X Men characters,
while Deadpool could be in his own, you know, supporting role.
I don't know which characters that he's thinking about working with,
but supposedly Ryan is working on the movie right now
by himself. He of course, has worked with several other
X Men characters in the Deadpool franchise, like Hugh Jackman
as Wolverine, and that last movie, Deadpool and Wolverine made

(16:04):
over one point three billion of the box office, making
it the highest grossing rated movie.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Yes it did very well, yes, but yeah that's light work.

Speaker 4 (16:13):
And while we're talking about Marvel, Thunderbolts open with seventy
six million, making it number one at the box office
over the weekend. Sinners came in at number two, A
Minecraft movie, The Accountant Too, and Until Dawn rounding out
the top five. And Fred, I watched two things that
you recommended over the weekend. So first of all, I
watched Conclave on Prime.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Yeah, what'd you think?

Speaker 3 (16:33):
I loved it. They're for sure setting up for a
second Conclave, don't you think.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Uh well, I don't know how they would do that
because that I'd have to die.

Speaker 4 (16:42):
Well, I think there's they're going to make another movie
because we don't know that backstory.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
I don't want to ruin anything of the dude who
got it.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Yeah, but I mean, how would they have another conclu
I mean maybe maybe there's another.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Like a spinoff.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Yes, but I feel like there, I don't know. I
thought they might set up for another movie. It was
really interesting And then I watched I started the trial
of Karon Reid on Max.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
I'm so invested.

Speaker 1 (17:03):
Yeah, and you got to watch that because now she's
a you know, back in court and her lawyer's really good.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
Yes, they are very and you know what else someone.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
Pointed out to me that's so smart is social media
is playing such a component in the Karen Reid trial
that there's speculation that her attorney grew a beard so
that you could tell the difference between the current videos
you're watching and the old ones, so you can tell
the difference between the coverage of the two trials. So

(17:32):
he grew in beard. This is a speculation. I'm not
sure if this is true, but like now he's got
this full beard. The lawyer does, and it's like, so
now when you watch the TikTok clips, you know if
it's this trial or the old trial, you know the difference.

Speaker 4 (17:44):
Oh smart, it's wild And I was hooked from like
the first five minutes of seeing it, and you think
it's going one way and it's going another.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
And if you guys don't know.

Speaker 4 (17:51):
What this is about, there was a Boston police officer
that was killed. He was found and you think one
thing happened to him. A lot of people think that
his girlfriend may have run him over. But then you
hear another side of it. And this docuseries is wild
and she chose to do it. So those are two
things for you to watch if you have not yet.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
Everybody else involved in this is shady, whether she at worst,
in my opinion, she accidentally hit him at worst, but
I don't know that. Why did the family who owned
the house, all the cops who owned the house where
this happened, why did they sell the house, Why did
they rehome the dog? Why did they destroy their phones?

(18:33):
Why did they erase the ringcam footage? Why do they
do all this if they have nothing to do with it,
If they know nothing, then why would they do all that?
You would think if they, if they had nothing to
do with it, they'd be like, here, here's everything, because we.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Don't know anything.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
It's all shady to me.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
And the woman who was on the stand last week,
the guy's wife who owns the house, I guess I
don't like her at all.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
I find her so unlikable. She's hiding something.

Speaker 4 (18:58):
Oh really, and you're seeing this where you seeing these
clips just online?

Speaker 6 (19:01):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Yeah, you talk or on you know wherever. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Once I finished that, I'm gonna catch on.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
This on this and then there's still pretty early stages.
But I don't know. I don't.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
I certainly don't think she did it on purpose. So
at worst she accidentally hit the guy. But everyone's lying
about everyone's changing their stories and lying, and it's like, wait,
why are you lying if if you didn't do anything,
why are you changing your story?

Speaker 2 (19:23):
I don't, I don't know. I don't like it.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
I'm investing. I don't like it, Kaitlin, I'm investing you guys.
I don't like it either, But I need to know
who did it.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
If you want to catch up on anything that you
missed from our show to type the Front Show on
demand by the way, and said this as a preset
on the free iHeart Radio app kicking.
