Speaker 1 (00:02):
You could learn Chinese in less than thirty minutes. Apparently
me me.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Out the Fread Show is on.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
I don't know if people can tell in that thing
that I was messing with that software that you can
type in, you know, one thing and it spits it
out in different language, that we were trying to learn
Chinese quickly because what Kieki was because she thought TikTok
was going away forever.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Yeah, that was such a scary time in my life. Man.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
And every ninety days they play with us. Yeah, they
play with our minds, our emotions. Morning everyone, Friday, July eleventh,
It's a Fread show. Hi, Kalem, Good morning, Jason, Hikiki. Hey,
thatll is out today on Vacation showby Shelley is here.
One hundred and fifty bucks is the prize over a
thousand wins only sixty nine losses, one game win streak.
We had to pay out thirteen hundred bucks this week

(00:51):
wasn't okay. It was after a very long waiting time. Yeah,
thirteen hundred bucks between no no running water in the
office for a while, waiting by the phone. Why did
somebody get ghosted? That's new and next the Entertainment Reports
coming up this hour too. What are you working out?

Speaker 4 (01:05):
Kay?

Speaker 5 (01:05):
A singer called out the person interviewing him for yawning,
which is like New Fear unlocked. Also, Shack did something
amazing for a girl in high school.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
He's always doing stuff like that.

Speaker 6 (01:15):
Always.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
I wish I had no like that, so I can
just you know what you you and you just don't
even worry about the rest of your life. College is
paid for waiting In two minutes after o jiar on
The Fred Show.

Speaker 7 (01:28):
You've ever been left waiting by the phone?

Speaker 1 (01:31):
It's the Fred Show. Hey Tyler, good morning, welcome to
the program.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
So what's going on with this woman? Kim? I got
to know you know all the backstory here? How did
you meet? Tell us about any dates you've been on?
And then you know why you're calling? Why do you
think you're being ghosted?

Speaker 7 (01:46):
Well, bar a few weeks ago, we were flirting for
a bit. I got her number. You know, it felt
nice to meet someone like I call it organically, like
in the wild, you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yeah, I get done.

Speaker 7 (02:02):
You know, I definitely wanted to see her again, and yeah,
we went out and then nothing. She totally ghost to
me and that's that's why I'm linking up with you guys.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
I want to know if y'all can give her a call.
I'm sure that what went wrong. Yeah, because I get
why everyone's on the dating apps, right, but there's just
no investment. And when you meet someone in person, you're
getting the vibe like you've seen them, you've judged the chemistry,
you know, kind of what you're working with, and I
guess it's a little bit more real that way, except

(02:35):
it doesn't happen that often anymore.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
No, but it was really nice.

Speaker 7 (02:38):
You know, we went to brunch, you know, classic mimosas
all that, and you know, I thought we had a
great time. But like I said, she ghosted me after that.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
That's surprising, you know, because between meeting and because you
meet someone on the app and then it's like, okay,
that fell flat, you don't hear from them, but you
met her in person, so she knew what she was getting.
Then you go on the thing. No, I understand. So
let's play a song. Come back in a couple of minutes.
We'll call Kim. You'll be on the phone. We're going
to ask these questions on your behalf and hopefully Tyler,
we can straighten this out and set you guys up
on another date that we paid for. I hope. So

(03:09):
let's get to the bottom of this after chaparone back
in two minutes with part two on The Fred Show.
Stay right here, Chaparoni's the Fred Show. We're on the
radio on the iHeart app Live and anytime catchup. Search
for a Fred Show on demand to make us a
pre set Tyler, Yo, all right, let's call Kim. You guys,
you met in person, you met, you met out and
went on a date that you thought were really well.

(03:31):
That being said, you haven't heard from Kim since the date.
You've reached out. You've tried to get a hold of
her plan another date. She's not responding. You want to
know why. It looks like you're being ghosted. Yeah, that's right,
let's call her now. Good luck.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
He his is Kim. Yeah, Hey, Kim, good morning. My
name is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred's Show, the
Morning Radio Show. I have to tell you that we
are on the radio right now, and I wouldn't your
permission to continue with this call. Can we chat for
just a minute. You can hang up anytime.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Like we're on the radio now correct.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Yeah, I know it's this strange thing to get a
call like that, but I'm gonna take that as yes,
we're calling on behalf of a gunnamed Tyler, who I
guess you met in person and then recently went on
a brunch date with. Do you remember this guy?

Speaker 4 (04:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Okay, and there it's the class. It's it's you know,
tale's the oldest time, Pauline. It's what happened with this guy, Kim,
because he reached out to us and he told us
that he was excited to meet you in person and
excited to go on a date, and he felt like
the date went great. They all do. And then he
says he hasn't heard from you since then. We had
no issue getting ahold of you. So I mean, what's

(04:45):
what's going on?

Speaker 4 (04:46):
I mean, like it it started out good, like it
was a nice date and he seemed like a normal
one in the beginning of the date. But then he
just like out a tot whitch up after like after
he like found out I had a cat, and like
it's like, okay, so we were you know, we're having

(05:08):
we're having a good day, right, And I look on
his phone, any phone any seat, and I see that
like his background, like his wallpaper is a dog. And
I was like, oh my gosh, is that your dog?
And he was like yeah it was, and you know,
I was like, what's his name? And we talked about
dog and it was really nice. And then he asked
if I had any pets and then I was like, yeah,
I have a cat named Daisy, and then like no joke,

(05:29):
like he just like flipped out, like I've dealt with
people are.

Speaker 8 (05:33):
Like no, he like yes, no, serious, yes, And then
he just like went on this huge rant about how
cats are like like you said these words the spawn
of Satan.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
He thinks like nabbing them in my house is like
having a portal to.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
Hell and like yeah, and then went on to like.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
Yeah exactly, and then just like went on to like
another ten minut that's about and like I just couldn't
believe that, like he just like guy would just like
talk about my like my child, like when I was
just like like, I don't really like dogs. I would
never like rag on them like that, like that's disrespectful.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
See, cats are so controversial. I don't know what I
like all animals. I like cats. I'm allergic to cats.
That would be the hurdle, right if, like if you
and I met Kim, the hurdle would be that I
am allergic to them. I also, you know, go pet
them and stick my face and so I'm an idiot.
But nonetheless that that would be my objection would be

(06:36):
this could be a problem from that standpoint, because I'm
really allergic actually, But as far as spot of satan
or something, I don't know that I've met anyone who's
that sort of has that sort of drastic opinion. But
here to tell us more, Kim is Tyler. Because I
forgot to mention that Tyler is here. You left the
part out about calling her kat satan. I mean I

(07:00):
thought that was a non issue. You know, her cat
satan issue. You at issue. Just because I don't agree
with her choice of pet doesn't mean, you know, I
don't want to see her. We can just hang out
of my place, okay. But you yelled at her about
selling it's important to her and well, because.

Speaker 9 (07:19):
Cats are evil, cats are legit evil.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
Tell me more, historian, they like them in ancient Egypt.

Speaker 1 (07:31):
They like them because the cats were ruling over them.
Cats make you their slave.

Speaker 9 (07:36):
They have no loyalty to you?

Speaker 4 (07:40):
What I mean, like like are you kidding? And like
this was like in public, like at a nice restaurant,
Like are you kidding?

Speaker 1 (07:46):
You can't yell at your first date and then call
us and wonder why she's not talking to She obviously
loves the animal and the way that you love your dog,
and you don't necessarily have to agree with that, but
you're calling us wondering why she didn't call you. I
think I know why.

Speaker 9 (08:04):
Well, dogs, Dogs are loyal dogs like a man's best friend, legit.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
They will follow you the end.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Cats will eat you while you're asleep.

Speaker 6 (08:13):
Why does it affect you?

Speaker 1 (08:15):
I've noticed that about cats. Everyone I'm around trying to
eat me while I'm asleep, and yet I'm still here. Crazy.

Speaker 9 (08:21):
But well, I mean, like I said, I mean, we
just can hang out at my place.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
You know that's that's fine? Why not? Yeah, I don't
think she's interested in that at all. And I think
I'm starting interrupt you camp. It doesn't sound like there'll
be any hanging out at any place.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Yeah, like not saying my cat, not saying my kitty,
that's for sure.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Oh yeah, I kind of like that.

Speaker 9 (08:44):
Yeah, I mean good luck with your seat and worshiping
cat that one day i'll, you know, try to eat
you while you're sleep and the cat trying to eat
your face.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
Good luck in your.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Yeah, good luck. Yeah. All right, So she's not gonna
hang out of your house every time you've made fun
of something. It's important to her. This is not going
to be a match. I don't even have to ask
the question, but look, Tyler Kim, thank you for your time.
Best of luck to both of you.

Speaker 4 (09:19):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
The entertainment report is next Dan one hundred and fifty
bucks in the showdown if you can beat Shelley and
five questions, that money is yours on the Fred Show.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Cal's entertainment report is on the Freash Show.

Speaker 5 (09:32):
During an appearance on The Today Show's third hour, eighties
rock Icon, Rick Springfield, Jason, do you know who that is?

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Rick Springfield, Bruce's brother? Yes? Yes?

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Wow? Did you know?

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Kansas yesterday? Rick Springfield today? Unbelievable, Big Bruce girl right here.
You know what's funny? Let me play. I'm gonna play
Atrick Springfield Son for you because you do know Ri.
I mean, I don't know how you could ever have
shopped at you know a grocery store and I know who.
True story, so I know you are all on. Let
me see.

Speaker 6 (10:02):
I ever heard of a little song called or Do
you want to play it first?

Speaker 1 (10:05):
I'm going to play it. Oh no, I don't worry.
We only have a stomach is in suspense. We have
an Apple to Sea computer that runs this thing, so
it takes a minute to load. It's to be familiar with.

Speaker 9 (10:14):
This Jesse's girl, right.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
It amasses me what you do and don't know.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
We were going to see him in Marion if we
went Thursday and you guys.

Speaker 6 (10:24):
Wouldn't go with me?

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Yeah, no, that was it was an opportunity on our boy. Dennisaid,
we could go backstage and like hang out with him,
to go on the bus with Rick Springfield. Yeah, but
no we couldn't. Look, I get it, just.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Maybe you didn't know Rick Springfield. A lot of people
listening probably don't somehow, But but you knew Kansas. You
knew Kansas.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
Stays with the bobs, like you don't even years to go.

Speaker 6 (10:59):
To the person ever said and the only.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
Stays with the Okay, well you know they do, actually though,
don't they have the stay with the Bob. They have
this one too. You are married to an old guy, Bob,
that's what blew me away. And you've never seen Ferris

(11:25):
Mueller's Day Off or American Hi, but you've seen but
you know Kansas everything Bro is everything Bro? Okay, I
don't know what you.

Speaker 5 (11:40):
Do know Rick Springfield, and he was talking about Jesse's
girl when co host Craig Melvin was busted yawning, which
I mean, we all get the urge. It's bad to
do when you're interviewing someone. Rick Pau's mid sentence and
stared at him and asked, am I boring you, which,
thank goodness made everyone laugh. He tried saying it was
a cough, but Rick told him it's early, don't worry
about it all ya on two, So he was a

(12:00):
good sport. The moment kind of kept it a fun interview.
Al Roker said it was his top five favorite guest.
Andy Cohen on Yon's a lot during reunions, and it's
usually when Dread speaks and she gets really mad because
she's long winded.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
But have you ever had any interview disaster? Not that
you call that a disaster, but the person was mad.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
So scared to answer this because I feel like the
second I do, something's gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
But no, and any of you guys ever had an
interview go awry? No, never never had anybody.

Speaker 10 (12:28):
We witnessed one a lil yachtie that was like viral,
but it was hilarious to.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
See a person.

Speaker 6 (12:35):
So when Keki and I were maybe going to talk
to Nick and.

Speaker 5 (12:37):
Manash, I was like, I wonder if she'll be mean
to us, But then I was.

Speaker 6 (12:41):
Like, hell, yeah, if she's mean to us, like let
me Yeah, right, we're gonna go viral.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
So no, thank goodness, But now I feel like saying
that I'm knocking on wood. NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal did
something amazing for a group of high school girls during
a visit to a dressed shop on Staten Island. According
to the owner of the shop, he asked whether or
not she had a restroom, which like, even if you
don't have one, you make one for shack.

Speaker 6 (13:04):
She said yep.

Speaker 5 (13:05):
He walked in, which obviously shocked the group of high
school girls who were trying on dresses. He took the
time to talk and take pictures with the group before
paying for everyone in.

Speaker 6 (13:14):
The stores dresses.

Speaker 5 (13:15):
The moment was caught on camera later posted to the
shop's Instagram, which is how we know.

Speaker 6 (13:18):
Of course Shack didn't post.

Speaker 5 (13:20):
It, but they wrote, look who's in the house today
at Shack, The one and only stopped into Oh, Underscore
Couture Boutique Underscore that's their handle. With Shacked in the building,
everyone gets addressed, like every single person. He very much
does this a lot, and we love that about Shaq.
He just like walks around malls I feel like, and
like pays for people's stuff.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
It's really cool. He's very very generous.

Speaker 5 (13:43):
Yeah, and you're right, it would be amazing to be
able to do stuff like that and have that much
money where you can just hand it out for people.
But made the girls' days and they didn't have to
pay for their dresses. So shout out to Shaq, you
are making the world a better place. Maroon five's album
is coming. It's called Love Is Like, dropped August fifteenth,
and it features some maybe surprising collabse So Lisa is

(14:04):
on the album Who We Love, Lil Wayne is on
the album.

Speaker 6 (14:08):
And Jason Sexy Red Yes the album.

Speaker 5 (14:15):
Kansas is on the deluxe Thank You for Blowing that
story featuring Sexy Red, Right, I always do that brick Springfield.

Speaker 6 (14:24):
Well, there you go, don't I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (14:27):
Galen Adam was also on the Today Show confirmed Low
Wayne did a verse. He said it's a nice mix
of collaborators. The album follows Jordy their twenty twenty one
album and will be supported this new one by an
October US tour. Reaction has been mixed online, like people
are calling it collabs. No one asked for. Some of
them like their best songs. I feel like their song

(14:49):
with Cardi's good. So I don't know why everyone's so mad,
but we always need Lil Wayne and Sexy Red.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
So there you go.

Speaker 5 (14:56):
If you want to catch up on anything you missed
from our show, everything's up on the free iHeart Radio app.
Just search The Fred Show on demand and if you
can set us as a preset.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
All right, Chowby Shelley's up next. One hundred and fifty bucks.
It's the price or record one twenty one wins, sixty
nine losses, one game, win streak, five pop culture questions.
If you can beat our pop culture expert, then you
start the weekend with one hundred and fifty bucks, and
then Shack will come along and buy you address. Call
that whoa, I'm going so fast, Shelly, it's beautiful. I

(15:25):
can't remember. I might have forgotten to give out the
phone number. I can't remember if I did it. Well, no,
because people were calling me. I'm like, did I say it?
I don't know if I said it. I can't remember.
E five five five nine one four fred no eight
five five five nine one one three five. We need
one of those. We need like a We need like
a eight five five, you know, fred a bit. I

(15:48):
don't whatever I was gonna say, now I saw myself.
We need we need like a we need a number
like that. We need like a like a catchy number,
you know, like something that something that uh yeah, you know,
like one of the jingle numbers that we grew up with. Everybody,
no matter where you're listening, everybody, especially if you're in
Chicago and well in Arizona, uh, where I grew up with, Dallas,

(16:09):
where I went to school, everybody can remember the jingles
with the number.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
You know.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
In fact, we should do that that bit again one
of these days soon. We did it before, like the
song that you grew up with that you'll never remember
or the catch line that you'll never forget. I don't
care where you grew up. Every town has one of those,
at least one of those. You got Empire, you got.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
When I was singing, you got, you got one, lun
you got Luna, you got h I grew up in U.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
In Phoenix it was Dale earnhardt Ford and he's rip
and he in the commercial he would sit on a
bowl and then at the end of the commercial he'd say,
and this ain't no bull and he pointed the bull
because there was no bull. With Dale Ernard, he wouldn't bull.
It was no bull. And then in Dallas it's the
Texas Hammer Jim Adler and now his son does it.

(17:00):
He will hammer and hammer and hammer to get you
the money you deserve. Yeah, I like it, Shelley. Can
you think of what I mean? Every I feel like
every town had one of those.

Speaker 10 (17:09):
Yeah, Luna was on a uh firs didn't. What is
that place? You guys talked about it before? The place
the place where people go. It's like the hotel what
is it called?

Speaker 1 (17:21):
Oh, you mean the sex hotels?

Speaker 6 (17:25):
Yes, didn't they have a song or no song?

Speaker 1 (17:29):
A commercial? If they did? Jason's parents you have what
it takes to Like someone said, eight five five, get Fred.
It doesn't have to have my name in it, but
it's just like we need something. We just we need it.

Speaker 6 (17:47):
Eight five to five, call for it like that.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
Too many numbers numbers. People used to do that where
you just dial the extra like if it was if
the number was after the number, you just didn't push
it anyway, doesn't do anything. Mayor how are you doing? Marry,
good morning? Hey, what's up? What's up? Fun fact about
Mary is what are you?

Speaker 6 (18:08):
I'm twenty four, I work in customer service and my
birthday's in a couple of weeks.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
Nice, okay, oh, happy birthday, Thank you. Thanks e. One
hundred and fifty bucks is the prize over a thousand
wins for Shelley sixty nine losses and she's on a
one game win streak. Are you ready to play? Yeah? Okay,
good you gotta go, Thank good, all right, good luck?

(18:35):
Thanks you gotta go to the sound booth, Pool Fencer
with and here we go. Question number one, Mary, which
country icon said she's taking a break from making music
while she grieves the death of her husband, Carl Deane.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
Three two one.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
We've got four left. We're good, Mary, We're good. Jojo
Sea what received a mixed received mixed reactions from fans
over her cover of the song Betty Davis Eyes, which
reality show originally brought Jojo to fame. After sparking breakup speculation,
Cardi B and wide receiver Stefan Diggs were spoted working
out together. Which NFL team did Stefan play for?

Speaker 6 (19:19):
Three? Two?

Speaker 1 (19:23):
I think I would have said a wrong team? Actually?
Which movies darring Meryl Streep and Hathaway, Emily Blunt and
Stanley Tucci is getting a highly anticipated sequel? Oh, Princess
and Meg the Stallion posted a photo with NBA player
Klay Thompson seemingly in the background, leading fans that think
that they're dating. What does Megan affectionately call her fans?

(19:49):
Thank you? Yeah? All right? Two? You got two? Respectable? Respectable?
You are one. I believe that you are one. If
you listen to this show, you are one. Two is
the scord of beat. Okay, okay, you know, look, we love,
we love Mary, but kind of a layup for you today. Honestly,

(20:10):
I don't know. I guess you never know. You're right?
But see here's my theory, and Shelley thinks I'm wrong.
But I think when when we tell her a low score,
she plays to the score because she knows all she
has to get is three, so she tries less hard.
That's what I think.

Speaker 6 (20:22):
How can we try less hard?

Speaker 1 (20:26):
I think you just sit back in your in your
you know, on your throne. You sit back, and you're
just like, yeah, come on, child's play. Which country icon
said she's taking a break from making music while she
grieves the death of her husband, Carl Deane Dolly partner.
That's right, go dang, hold on, we'll do it again.

Speaker 8 (20:45):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
Jojo Siwa received mixed reactions from fans over her cover
of the song Betty Davis Eyes, which reality show originally
brought Jojo to fame.

Speaker 6 (20:56):
Dance small, that's right.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
After spucking breakup, she can have proved me wrong. After
sparking breakup speculation, Cardi b and wide receiver Stefan Diggs
were spoted working out together. Which NFL team just to
fawn play for?

Speaker 6 (21:08):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (21:08):
No, three?

Speaker 6 (21:10):
Well it is obviously two.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
No, it's the Patriots. I think I would have said
the Bills, but that's not right. That was his old team.
I think which movie I haven't kept up with him?
We haven't spoken in a little bit? Yeah, which movie
starring Meryl Streep, Ann Hathaway, Emily Blunt. Stanley Tucci is
getting a highly anticipated sequel, The Devils Products. Are we rolling?
Are we rolling? Stanley Tucci on TikTok Are we rolling?

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (21:40):
Every time he makes so cooking videos? Oh and he's like,
you know, mansion in Italy somewhere are we rolling? And
Meg Stallion posted I asked myself that question every day?
Are we on the Are we on the meg? The
Stallion posted a photo with NBA player Klay Thompson seemingly
in the background, leading fans to think that they're dating.
What does Megan affectionately call her fans?

Speaker 10 (22:04):
Oh three two O dallians.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
Something.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Yeah, so you got a three and you're barely one.
You're barely one close.

Speaker 6 (22:22):
I did not try though, I didn't not try that
I would have gotten one two.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
I only would have I only would have gotten three today,
I think. So, you know, it's okay, it's all good.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
You were too hard.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Okay, No, you should not feel bad. No one should
feel bad. Mary, But you're gonna have to say when
it was Mary, I got showed up on a showdown,
and you know the rest.

Speaker 6 (22:41):
My name is Mary.

Speaker 8 (22:42):
I got showed up on a showdown, and I can't
hang with the gurrilla.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
No, no, it's true. You marry you can't hang with thet.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
Can't shout out to all the hot girls Stallions book.

Speaker 6 (23:08):
That'd be a good one though, right if she did
that Stallion Stallions. Yeah, well we got yeah, yeah, you know,
so it wouldn't work for me.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Shelley, So okay, well we'll go with hotties for now.
I got Mary had a great weekend, happy birth to
hang on all right, thank you, stay right there, Shelley.
Excellent work or a two game win streak up to
two hundred bucks and we're number oney twenty two for you.

Speaker 6 (23:35):
Thank you so much. Thanks.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
You got big plans this weekend. Shell.

Speaker 6 (23:38):
My sister's in town this weekend.

Speaker 10 (23:40):
So my sister Elise is here, so will you know,
we don't quite spend time and we were used to
like going to bars and stuff.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
She helps babysit now. So that's what I feel like,
is the same with my sister. If I see her,
it's like, yeah, you know, because we're going to Texas
today or I'm going to Texas today with all the
supplies that we bought. We went on a field trips. Shelley,
and I know you were raising children and the rest
of us, well, I don't know. Boullie And where was
she was? She was in the in the sledgehammer section

(24:07):
of home. He was playing with those We bought a
bunch of stuff for taking it to h to Dallas
today to be delivered to the flood victims in Texas.
But where was I going with this?

Speaker 4 (24:20):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Yeah, and so so my sister is in Dallas and
I said, hey, I know this is And my sister's
not one for the pop up visits. She's you know,
I have to I have to ask her schedulers to
handle this way far out. But I said, hey, I'm
going to be in town today, and so you know,
do you guys want to get together? And I got
the full run down of the schedule. I might be
able to pop in tomorrow. Polly has a birthday party,

(24:42):
and I might be able to pop into the birthday
party of someone else. It's someone else's birthday party, but
I might I might be able to pop into that.
If the parents are okay with it, so I can
see my knees.

Speaker 6 (24:53):
Where's the party, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
I think it's one of these hell holes that like
like indoor playground, you know, like.

Speaker 6 (25:01):
Like a trampoline party.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Where my niece's birthday party was. I had to go
to this thing. It's like an indoor like it's it's
like a like a gigantic playland. No, which is a mistake.
Actually maybe it's not. You know some people, Yeah, but
some some people don't know where to draw the line.
They ruin it for the rest, right, Like some people

(25:22):
get will go there and get hammered, and then it's
like why do you have to ruin it for everybody?

Speaker 6 (25:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (25:26):
I think it may be in one of those places
where kids should run around on the parents just sit
in the corner and like just sort of pray.

Speaker 6 (25:33):
You love those places.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
Yeah, I know. It's loud and bright and there are
monkeys and like dressed up animals and things, and the
kids love it, which is the most important part. I
want to go. They have it's like they have like
mascots and stuff that run around, you know, like you know,
like a monkey in a dress. I think they have
like a monkey and a in a in a costume,
you know, like whatever, the furry furry.

Speaker 6 (25:58):
A mascot and animals.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
But anyway, I don't know what this thing is. All
I know is that I understand what it must be
like for you now with two kids, because it's like,
you know, I I gotta, I gotta get on this
and it's not even a man's schedule. It's we got
swim parties, we get all this stuff, and it's like
she's booked and busy, right, yeah, you know, she got
day she goes to her school during the summer and

(26:25):
like does it kind of a daycare? It's like a school.

Speaker 6 (26:28):
They can't, but like you want to keep the routine going,
so the right she had to do that.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
I got maanderin lessons. I mean, I don't know what
she's doing. You know, it's like I gotta, I gotta
find a time to see this anyway, so she's gonna
try and make time for me.

Speaker 11 (26:39):
Yeah, I understand, though I'm not looking forward to those days,
Like my daughter's still fifteen months and we're not there
yet with like the play dates and like this and
the swim and that, and like you guys know, I'm
already busy, So how am I going to fit my
daughter's a busy schedule?

Speaker 1 (26:51):
It's just not going to work.

Speaker 6 (26:52):
Well that's the people, yeah, are telling you that it
just gets.

Speaker 10 (26:54):
More busy the older they get, because then they have
stuff after school and then like all kinds of right,
like friends stuff.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
Yeah, but I think, like in my head, I'm going
as a non parent, I'm like, well, why why do
you commit to all this crap? Like why why not
just you know, why don't we just open the schedule
up a little bit. But then I realized their kids
and they need to in their little kids, and they
need to be occupied. So my sister is like constantly
looking for things. Ever, it's like it's almost like because

(27:20):
there is very little sitting around the house just and
it's too hot to be outside. So it's like I
get it. So it's you know, every opportunity there is, oh,
a birthday party, great, that she'll be occupied for four
hours and because she doesn't want her in front of
the TV, which I understand total but yeah, so anyway, Yeah,
I asked your schedules if I could see you sometime soon,

(27:40):
and they told me sometime maybe in December. You'll be
available me.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Really, that's what your schedulers said. Yeah, yeah, I do.

Speaker 6 (27:48):
Let me take a second look. Maybe I can't, right,
I'll see it work.

Speaker 1 (27:53):
Yeah, basically we have a good weekend. Okay, okay, thank
you too. Okay, someone such Chicago native listening in DFW
in Dallas right now, thank you for that. Thank you
so much. It's very nice. I'll wave at you.

Speaker 5 (28:08):
Is are you going to get you know what down
in Dallas?

Speaker 1 (28:11):
Thankful? Well, I don't think I'm going to get it.
Oh boy, you might go the well, I don't have
time to go the other way with no. But I
never I never thought in my life that, first of all,
I would buy two chainsaws in one day. And we
bought two chain saws yesterday to help out them because
that's on the list of things they needed were chainsaws,
so we bought chainsaws. I never thought I would fly
with two chainsaws either, which is happening later on today too.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (28:34):
They were like, hey, what are you guys shopping for?
Before we told them like we had a wildlist.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Yeah what we what do we buy yesterday? And this
is not I know, this is not funny because we're
buying things for supplies for the rescue workers in Central Texas,
but with the who are dealing with the aftermath of
these floods. But I mean, if you were to see
the list, you might ask questions cleaning supplies, masks, heavy
duty gloves, multiple chain saws, bugs, bray bug spray, vasolene,

(29:04):
and then I vizine kind of stuff they need cleaning product, right, yeah, bucket.
If I didn't know, I might think that we were
up to something. But they were very helpful yesterday and
we went to home DBOO because they had everything in
the near the office. But thank you to Courtney and
then Jason's new boyfriend was Richard. Okay, good, thank you

(29:26):
to them the Friday throwback. And one more thing, thank
you to Amy with the right one one hundred truck Wreck,
who I have to tell you and this is this
is a real story. We talked to her earlier this
week because we were giving away rent checks because she's
paying people's rent this month. She's one one hundred truck wreck.
She's our friend, a partner of the show. And I said, hey, Amy,
we're going to go do this. Can I take your

(29:46):
credit card? And I was kind of kidding, and she said, yes,
spend as much as you need as much and then
we gave her a number and she said, it's going
to cost more than that, so spend more.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
And I don't want anyone to know that you. I don't.
I don't want the recognition. She said that like this,
I don't. I I don't need anyone to know that
I did that. But there's no way that we can't
think and then our friend Andrea Rintrust reached out. She
offered to help to We've had some other people reach
out after the fact. Uh, we've had We've had lots

(30:15):
of the thirteen of listeners reaching out to us asking
how they can help who else? This morning somebody reached
out and wanted to help us as well. Let me
see here.

Speaker 6 (30:25):
That's so kind.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
Blue Sky wanted to help us as well, but we
got it covered. So anyway, a lot of people, uh,
you know, wanted to be part of it. So thank you,
thank you for that, and thank you for all of
you and and you guys. I rewarded my my family here,
my kids. I rewarded all of you with anything you
wanted from the home Deepo Hot Dog stand yesterday.

Speaker 6 (30:43):
You're even telling strangers to get let me.

Speaker 1 (30:46):
Take something when it is four dollars a person, I'm shack.

Speaker 6 (30:51):
Also, thank you to you for flying it there.

Speaker 5 (30:53):
Yes you're not going to say that, but it's it's
it's not cheap to my guests.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
I don't think, uh no that that. Well, I'm just
thank you for saying that it and I got a
uh well, okay, thank you. And Operation Air Drop they're
the people who facilitate all of this, So they're kind
of like the pilots and Pause or the Angel Flight
or the Veterans Airlift Command or whatever. They're the ones
who set it up so that people who have access,

(31:18):
you know, general aviation, non professional pilots who have access
to planes can can load up and get into these
areas whether it's a hurricane or they've done it in Florida,
Forever and Texas and anywhere that's affected with these sort
of things. You know, they can mobilize kind of little
guys who and a lot of little guys add up
to a lot of stuff.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
You know.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
That's what I said to them yesterday. You know, I
sent them a picture of our four carts full of things,
and it was like, I know, this is just a
drop in the bucket, and it's like every little bit counts,
and then when you when you combine that with everything
else that everyone else is doing, it winds up being
a lot of stuff. Dejenerotic is up next the Friday
Throwback dance party.

Speaker 2 (31:53):
More breadshells next
