Did Kiki have to do Paulina's promise for the ring?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
No? I didn't.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Maybe that's why it sis alone.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Fred Show is on eighth Thursday, Good Morning, No. November
thirteen to prend show's not Hi Kaitlin, Hi, Jason Brown,
Hi Pauline Hikki. Those are your players in the throwback
throw down named that tune battle we're playing next Canon
with fifteen, wins, Chase with eight, Paulina with seven, Kiki
with six. If you'd like to play, you might be
called upon for a phone of friends. If you no throwbacks,
you could help you out five nine, one one three five.

(01:03):
The order in which we pick you up, that's how
the order in which you get to pick your in
studio player. Who's gonna be second place this year?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Kinky? Is it gonna be you?

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Probably not, but you know I'm here for the vibes.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I love this.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Game, calling out if you want to play, We'll get
to headlines, biggest stories of the day. Fun fact, it's
about it's about doing it. It's about doing it. It's
about live music or That was almost as controversial as
the tipping topic, live music or sex?

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Which one do you pick?

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
But what about I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I didn't make this up. The entertainer report this hour,
see what are you working on?

Speaker 3 (01:42):
We are talking Taylor with a big drop.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Also why NBA fans are mad at Meg The Stallion.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Caro's entertainer report is on.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
The fread show Man.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
As if the story could not get any more heartbreaking,
Marshawn Nieland's partner, Catalina man Sarah is pregnant with his child.
As you know, by I know that was a hard
one for me to watch yesterday. As you know, the
twenty four year old Dallas Cowboys defensive end died on
November sixth of an apparent suicide following a vehicle crash
and a police pursuit.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
In a very emotional moment, during.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
A press conference, the head of the Cowboys, the coach,
shared the news of her pregnancy. Also announced that the
team has launched a memorial fund to make sure that
she is taken care of as well as the baby
for the rest of their lives. He made it clear
he's still part of the team. I heard a question
about his locker and everything, and so they are very
much going to be keeping his memory alive and taking

(02:36):
care of his girlfriend. You know, he had just scored
his first NFL touchdown days before his death. He was
drafted in twenty twenty four, was in his second season
when this whole tragedy struck. I know he struggled with
his mental health, he lost his mom. So, you know,
just thinking of his family, his girlfriend, everything she did

(02:58):
post my sweet baby. Words could never express how broken
I feel. You're my everything. I love you forever, my
beautiful angel.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
So you got to be mindful of like what people
might be going through because you just never know. And
you hear people say, well, he was an NFL player,
and he was rich, and he and he had this,
you know, all.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
These things going for him.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
How how could this possibly happen, and it's like, well,
then you don't understand how this works, sadly, So I
wish people had more of an understanding of what can
be going on behind the scenes, even when you can't
see it, which is why I don't know, maybe think
twice sometimes when you want to treat people unkindly, and
not to say that's what led to this, but just
in general, you just you just never know.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
You never know what people are going through one hundred percent.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
I posted that on my story yesterday, and his coach
said he had a smile that could bring you to
your knees.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
He had the most playful spirit.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
And so what I wrote is that when someone struggling,
it doesn't always look like they're struggling, and oftentimes those
people are the best at hiding it. So that's a
great message to take on during the day. Let's move
on to something a little smartti, shall we. Diddy's prison
release date has been bumped back and extra month. He
was initially expected to finish serving time in Jersey on

(04:04):
May eighth, twenty twenty eight. However, his release has been
pushed to June fourth of that same year after some
alleged rule violations at his facility, hearing that he allegedly
consumed homemade alcohol some.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Hooch if you're familiar toilet hooch.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Which is actually where you can make alcohol in prison
if you did not know, it's from fermented sugar soda apples.
And I guess he also took part allegedly in a
prohibited three way phone call. I don't know how he
did that, but he did. His spokesperson of course, denying
the wrongdoing.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
But we'll see how it all plays out. But yes,
you do make it in a bag in the toilet.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Former NBA guard Jason Williams aka White Chocolate said on
the Hoopin' and Hollering podcast that Klay Thompson's recent slump
might be tied to his relationship with Megan THEE Stallion.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Here we going out.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
Wi tails oldest time fault.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
It's Megan the Stallion's falled.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Right like woman, right you guys, Sometimes they can just
play bad.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
The doubts and.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Everricks Forward, a four time NBA champion, has been averaging
just seven point four points per game. How do you now,
how can you oh, because the average? How can you
average seven point four points?

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Well?

Speaker 1 (05:22):
Because it's average.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
It's like over because you don't score the same amount
of points in every game. Okay, so if you play
twenty games and you score ten and then eight and.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Okay so two and yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Okay, can you get a seven point four?

Speaker 1 (05:36):
So you only got a fourth of a point one time?
It was crazy.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
You should see what happened when in the Little Ways
came out only halfway. It's only point four. Yeah, basketball,
they would have won the game, but not with the
point four awful wait.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
So yes, we are blaming the woman once again. And lastly,
speaking of Taylor, thank you for the segue, Freddy. That's
going to get you into the Hall of Fame one day.
Taylors did just drop the official trailer for that docuseriies
six parts we are getting on Disney Plus. It's called
the End of an Era about the Eras Tour and beyond.
We see lots of behind the scenes stuff and we

(06:08):
will be getting that in December, so look out for that.
If you want to catch up on anything you missed from.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Our show, it's all up there. The stuff that we
can afford to pay for.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Type the frend Show on demand on the free I
Heart Radio out The Fread Show.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Is on Friend's Fun.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Fact Fred Fun learn so much.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
You can learn so much.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Guys, did you know that children are born less frequently
children are born?

Speaker 1 (06:38):
That's the fact. Hit the thing, Hit the thing.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Children are born less frequently on Saturdays. Among all the
days in the week, most children in the world are
born on the Thursday. Baby's born on weekends in December
is also the least common.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
That's very rude of them, what you mean, because it'd
be more convenient to have a baby on a Saturday,
wouldn't we know?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
I get a Saturday, I'm relaxing.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yeah, college football, depending on the time of year, I
guess stuff going on, you know. I know, let's do
it on a day that I'm working, so I don't
have to work, you know, because I can get out
of here, because I got to go, because.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
You know, you'd rather have your baby going.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Well, wait, I need my baby to get you so
I can get out of here, got it? You know
what I mean?

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Like, don't do it on a day I already don't
have to be you know what I mean? Because then
it's like, well it was yesterday, you can come in today,
you know, or like the bag was one Saturday, Fred,
why can't you come in Monday because because I can't fair,
But children are born less frequently on Saturdays, and among
all the days in the week, most children are born
on a Thursday. And I'm sure that we could relate
all this back to like what is nine months before December?

(07:40):
So what was a big march ish it in March?
So like yeah, so like March is spring and people
are like, you know, like because it's spring. Maybe they
went on a spring break. Maybe they went to South
Padrea Island. They were on MTV, you know, the grind,
and they met and then that's what happened.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
So it makes sense, that's what it is.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
I would actually think that summertime would be when most
people were doing it, and then it would be like
you know, March would be the other way around, would
be like March would be when the babies were born.
That clocks, because yeah, that clocks for me. That was
some quick math and biology we did. You know, It's
a good a lot of facts.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
More freadshells next.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
