seven now for a chance to win. A confirmation text

(00:21):
will be said. Standard message of data rates may apply
all thanks to Live Nation. Please. How do you lie
to your kid?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
I need to tell them that they if they were
really bad, I would rip up their birth certificate and
they will have ceased to exist.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Whoa whoa WHOA Fread show is on Man. The other
time I hear that, I'm like, that's ruthless. I told
your kid, you cease doing this. I like it. I
love it. I kind of like it.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
You gonna use that one, you know, put it in
my pocket? You know how I feel about that. When
things get bad, you got to pull up the mo.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
I mean, Gigi's little but do you are you getting
the vibe, Paulina? The Gigi will be like you or
be like your husband, who's a little bit more logical
and rule follower, and like, is she going to be
doing the crazy stuff you were doing?

Speaker 3 (01:05):
I hope not, because I am going to redirect her
in every single way, like we are going towards like
math and science, and we're going to go towards like
being indoors and not outside, like we're gonna do a
lot of stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
But I didn't just so you're not going to encourage
her to pursue the music career that you have.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
You know, I can tell she's got interest because she'll
grab a microphone at home and she'll start singing.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
That's how it started with me. And take the microphone away,
the microphone away, take the microphone away. It started with
me about that age and look at what happened. Yep,
this is what happened. Yeah, and this is a lot
of mental illness and uh, you know a lot of problems.
So yeah, just I need to come over there and
let's put like an airplane in her hand. And you're right,
like a like a like a stethoscope. Look how cool

(01:47):
medical equipment is, Like isn't this neat like the coolest girl? Right?
Like w coouldn't you love to be a a scientist?
You know, here's here's a microscope. Isn't isn't space cool?
You ever thought about aig?

Speaker 3 (02:00):
I will give her my texes like accountants, awesome, whatever, anything,
I don't care.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
I'll even any kind of trade. I'm down, it doesn't matter.
Just keep her away from this place. You know what's
like that? Everyone told me that and then I'm here,
and then it turned out okay, and so I wanted
to do it more. If you try to right right,
everyone's like, oh, you don't do that, and then look
what happens. So I'm going to give her a lot
of attention so she doesn't do this. You know what
you should do, go the opposite way, be like you

(02:26):
you are a born media star, and she'll just be
so fed up with it she'll do the exact opposite. Yeah,
that's true. You should do that. Yeah, center to business school, center,
anywhere else. Just please go there, go right for me.
It's Thursday, October thirtieth, Good morning, Hi Kaylin, Hi Jason, Hi,
Paulina Peaky's back tomorrow. She'll be Shelley Belahamin. So your

(02:48):
players are Paulina, Kaylin and Jason eight five five five
nine one one three five The throwback, throw down, a
mentune battle or play next. Those are your three players,
and arguably three of the best. I mean, kicking every
now and again pulls one out. I shouldn't say it
around again. She's six times this year.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
But a blind squirrel gets a nut, right exactly?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Wow? No, I never heard about a blind squirrel and
a nut. No, even a blind squirrel gets.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
In that first time you've heard that?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Yes, do it again.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Even a blind squirrel gets a nut every now and again.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
It was a real slapper girl. Good for him. Yeah,
if you scrounge around enough, eventually there's a nut in
your mouth. It's true. If you just walk around your
mouth open, eventually something pops in it. You know. Yeah, Okay,
if you like to play eight five five five three five,

(03:44):
you know whatever? Maybe I maybe? Is there still time
for me to get a stethoscope. There's still time for
me to go to medical school. It's just a short
eight years. I'm sure it'll be fine. I called out,
you'd like to play, we'll do headlines, fun fact and
the Entertainment Report, coming up to working on.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
K What the heck, I'm so distressed.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Another reality. I'm amazed that I'm not. I'm actually not
amazed that Jason has never heard that before. I know
he knows weird sayings.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
And I also the reason I'm distracted is because I
thought about the time you came into work saying you
got a COVID test, but it was like somehow in
your throat and it wasn't when they were doing that,
and we were like, wait, I don't think you got
to did you.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Yeah, but I will talk about that John mayor Andy
Cohen's story. They grabbed my pp I was doing those
at home COVID test. Jason came over to do a
COVID test. It was weird. I'm like, I don't think
it's how you do it, but okay, I trust you.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
We were like you, guys, I got tested like this
is what happened.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
And I was like, that's not how they test you. Bro.
I don't remember that, but it sounds about right. I
mean you if you remember COVID times like we were
getting tested in back alleys, like there were on a
street corner, like I went to one on State Street
in like an abandoned foot locker. She was wearing a nurse.
I don't know. I gave her fifty told me. I

(05:04):
didn't have it. It was baked this dark. I don't
know Calin's entertainment report. He's on the Freas Show.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Look, Brian is setting the record straight about the heartbreaking
loss of his sister Kelly. Brian Cheshire and I don't
know if you guys know this story. It's actually very
very sad. I didn't realize that people kind of were
saying that they were faking something or covering up.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
I just knew about the tragedy that he endured.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
But in a new interview, he said that there's been
a lot of misinformation about the two thousand and seven
death of a sister, saying that nothing was covered up
like some people think or thought. He said, we didn't
hide anything, explaining that Kelly died suddenly from an unexplained
medical event after what had been a perfectly healthy period.
Her autopsy was also inconclusive, leaving the family absolutely devastated

(05:52):
and searching for answers, which is why people think that
they were covering something up, which I cannot imagine losing
a sibling and then having all this unnew necessary commentary
on it. Her death, though, was the second major tragedy
for Luke, who had already lost his brother Chris years
earlier in a car crash, and then in twenty fourteen,
so his sister's husband, ben Lee Cheshire also died unexpectedly.

(06:14):
So both of these people died a husband and wife,
one of them being his sister, and their three children
had no parents anymore. Jordan, Chris, and Till they call
him his name is Tilden. That meant that Luke and
his wife Caroline stepped in and they raise all those
children along with their own angels, according like if you
ask me. But Luke said he sees glimpses of Kelly

(06:36):
in her children every day. The way they smile, laugh,
carry themselves. It's like having a piece of her still.
But I guess yeah. People on the internet had some
opinions about it, and he had to address that. He
says those losses did reshape his entire life perspective. He said,
you learn to appreciate every single day every person you
love because you never know what's next. And I feel
like that reflects in him. He's a really nice guy.

(06:58):
He's like stopped to help people with car troubles. I
don't know, so you see that in him, But I
guess he had to clear up some online rumors.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Imagine that speaking of that.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Okay, so, and this was not directed at you, Fred,
But Andy Cohen was on call her Daddy this week
for a super fun episode, and of course there's always
you know, what's the headline from this episode? What are
we going to extract and make sound salacious? And you know,
the whole friendship of his with John Mayer came up,
and of course she asked him about it, and all
the headlines are like Andy Cohen, you know, it's all

(07:27):
over John and it's flirty and they're into each other.
And I feel like that's the insinuation, because I do
feel like it's hard for people to understand, like this
super close friendship between a very gay man and a
very straight man.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
And he was telling a story.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
He does say that they sit on the same side
of the booth, but that's a choice they both make
and it cracks me up. That's so funny. Yeah, And
he was telling how he was getting a little drunk
and because she was asking him something about you know,
all the rumors or whatever, and he's like, yeah, no,
we're we are the best of friends.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
We love each other so much.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
We are affectionate with each other, which I think is
hard for people to sometimes wrap their heads around. But
he said, I'm not secretly in love with my friend John.
I love him very deeply as a friend. And he
talked about the kind of woman that he would love
to see John with and that he hopes he finds.
Also said he would like to find a dude with
the same qualities. But the headlines are just you know.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
It wasn't that I was like, oh, John Mayer's gay.
It was like it was I saw it. I was
like wow, Like John Mayers just lets him hang all
over him, like wow. I don't know if I'd let
my I don't know if I'd be comfortable. I don't.
I'm not comfortable people touching me anyway. I wouldn't care
if anyone thought I was one. I wouldn't. I don't
care what anyone thinks I m really But like I also,
I'm like wow. So they sit on the same side

(08:38):
of the booth, which is taboo for even people who were.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
Together, Like yeah, I did it once and I can't
live a tone.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Yeah. And then he gets super handsy and I was
like oh okay, yeah wow, And John lets him do
it all right.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Yeah, people think that they're playing in our face, like
people think that they're secretly our good friend Kigy thinks
they're secretly doing it. But it was just bothering me
because I listened to the whole podcast and then I
saw the headlines, which that's just the world we live in,
but it was very much not set up like that.
He knows John is straight, he knows that he's going
to be with a woman someday, but they do sit
on the same side of the booth, which is wild.
Another thing she asked him, she makes people play this

(09:10):
game where she acts ask crazy questions and I know
we got to go, so I'll wrap it up. But
she asked him how much he made last year, or
you have to text someone in your phone something crazy,
and he was like, are you effing serious, Like I'm
never answering that. It was a very funny moment between them,
and then he explained why he wouldn't answer, and so
he did have to text someone, Lisa vander Pump something

(09:30):
very funny, and yeah, it.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Was a cute episode.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
If you want to catch up on any of our episodes,
by the way, you can type the Fred Show on
to Man on the Free iHeartRadio app The Fread.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Show is on Friend's Fun Fact, Fredlund ask so much, guys,
did you know that there is something called and I
don't even know how to say the scientific name, but
it is an immortal jellyfish. It is a remarkable creature

(10:00):
that can reverse its aging process like a Kardashian and
potentially live forever. When faced with stress or injury, the
jellyfish can revert to a juvenile stage, effectively resetting its
life cycle. The ability has earned the nickname the Benjamin
Button jellyfish due to its remarkable rejuvenation process. The jellyfish

(10:21):
can undergo this transformation multiple times, making it biologically immortal,
although it still can die from starvation or injury. Imagine
that is, whenever you feel like it, You're like, yep,
I don't know, let's go back a little ways. You know,
I might do that. I don't know if I want
to go back And hmmm, that's a very that's a
deeper question. Maybe for the tangent next week and when

(10:43):
I go back in time. Yeah, maybe if I knew
what I know now, But then would it still work
out the way that it should? If I went back
and changed history.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
So you would change stuff, not necessarily relive stuff.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Well, if I knew what I know now, I wonder
if if I could go back and everything happened the
same way. But I could. But but but certain things
I could try again with new knowledge, I might. I
know that's complicated, Yeah it is. I would.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
I would maybe relive stuff again, but I'd be scared
to mess with the future.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
Yeah, because like, okay, so if you saw me, you
can go back in time you know what you know now,
and the end result will be the same. Fine, But
like I'm afraid if I went back in time, even
at the trajectory were the same and then I somewhere
along the lines, you do something, you do something, and
then it changed, you know what I mean. Yeah, So
the only way I would do it is like simply
for the opportunity to experience it. And I'm mostly talking
about romantic relationships, Like I'd go back and like try it.

(11:40):
I would make a pass on the on the person,
or I would be more assertive, you know, like way
back in the day with certain people. Or maybe I'd
say something to certain people if I knew there was
gonna be no repercussion you know what I mean, Like
I'd say the thing I didn't say, or I'd say
the thing that I thought of like an hour later, Yes,
oh that I Oh my god, I'm I'm so famous

(12:02):
for that. And then I said, and it's like, but
you never said that. I'm like, no, but I an
hour later I came up with it would have been
so good. Yeah, yes, that's my whole.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
Like I have a playbook of what I should have
could have said, and what I actually, like, what came
out of my mouth is very different because.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
I'm very grateful for like today, right, So I wouldn't
necessarily want to rewrite and be immortal, but I but
if I can have like snapshots back, yeah, I would
do that. I might. I might. I might do that,
you know. Anyway, there's an immortal Jellyfish more Fred Show
