it's great that we were able to get them on

Speaker 1 (04:26):
I don't know you're on a roll, but she got
a three, which is not a bad score. That is
a respectable score, will bring Shelley back. Three is the
score of bead and she was like boom, boom, boom,
and then it slowed down. So let's see how you
do Question number one, which singer left the stage mid
show during her co headlining The Boy's Mind Tour stop

(04:50):

Speaker 2 (06:13):

so much for playing, all right, thanks and for listening.
And I'm sure we'll talk to you tomorrow to Blake

and ten straight Shelley, good.

Speaker 3 (06:32):

Speaker 2 (06:33):
You, Okay, I have a good day. We'll see you tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
All right, you do.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Never been left from waiting by the phone. It's the
frend Show. Adam, good morning, welcome to the program. How
are you all right?

Speaker 8 (06:48):
How are you doing?

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Man doing? Okay? What's going on? With this woman, Kristen.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
I gotta know how you met, about any dates that
you've been on and where things are now in waiting
by the phone because you feel like maybe she's ghosting you, right, Yeah,
I mean, so me and Kristen had met by the
pool at our gym one weekend, and I mean we
were both just kind of hanging out with friends and
so like both we were both in the pool and
we just kind of started talking and so like I

(07:12):
was like, I really want this.

Speaker 7 (07:14):
Conversation to keep going. So I asked her out and
she said yes, So she gave me your number, and
so like we texted for a little bit and then
we decided that we wanted to take it further.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
So we met up for.

Speaker 7 (07:25):
Drinks and then like drinks that week ended up doing
really really well, and so like even before the date,
like our artechts were getting super super party and I
mean even even a little spicy to a certain point,
and so like, and then when we met, we had
like just this in person chemistry that didn't disappoint and

(07:45):
it was going really really good. Like I mean I
was even late to work the next day because like
we had ended up having so much late night fun.
But I mean ever since that date, like I just
haven't heard from her, and I don't know what's going on.
For going well. She agreed that things were going well,
and I mean, I don't know what happened.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Yeah, it's always kind of crazy when this happens, because
it's like everything was going so well. I mean the
way you describe it, all this chemistry and all this
sort of uh, you know, fun stuff.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Going on at night, you're late to work.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
I mean, this is all this all sounds great, except
for whatever reason, something must have happened. And now I
assume you've texted, You've called Christen, you've you know, carried
her pigeons and smoke signals and everything.

Speaker 7 (08:28):
Yeah, I mean I didn't like send her an over abundant,
like desperate amount of text but like I did a
couple of check in texts. Even tried to call her
one night and on like one of the nights we
had like that I knew degree because that was the
night that she has a preset schedule with work, and
so like those were usually the nights we would like
talk over the phone, and so like I tried to

(08:48):
call her one night and she just didn't pick up,
and so I don't want to be like a stalker
and keep texting and yeah, we don't know what, but
I just kind of want to know what's going on,
Like we're going really really well.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
Then nothing, Yeah makes sense. So we're gonna play a song.
Come back in a couple of minutes. We'll call Kristen.
You'll be on the phone, Adam. We're gonna ask these
questions for you. And the hope is that maybe she's
been busy or who knows what's going on. Hey, Adam,
all right, let's call Kristen. You guys, you met at
the gym, right. You met at the gym, and you

(09:21):
were at the pool right with with your friends, and
you hit it off and we're chatting and everything went well,
exchange numbers, texted, you know, things kind of got there
was a lot of flirtation going on. They got a
little spicy, kiky, they got a little spicy by his uh,
by his description, And you guys have gone out and
had a great time and then all of a sudden
radio silence, Kristin is not responding to you like she

(09:42):
normally would. It appears that you're being ghosted. You want
to know why Okay, let's call Kristin now. Good luck Adam.
I appreciate it, but thinks, HI is this Kristen, Hey Christian,
good morning. My name is Fredam calling for the Fred Show,

(10:02):
the morning radio show, and I have to tell you
that we are on the radio right now and I
do need your permission to continue with the call.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
It said, okay, if we have for a second.

Speaker 9 (10:10):
I guess I guess I guess that's yes.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
Okay, Well, thank you were calling out behalf of a
guy named Adam. I guess you met him at the
at the pool and you hung out a couple of times,
and uh, I guess you guys went on some dates
and stuff like that. Do you remember meeting this guy
and going out with him?

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Yep?

Speaker 8 (10:26):
Sure?

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Okay, So he describes to us a minute ago what
he thought was, you know, this this great story about
meeting and all the chemistry you guys had, the dates
you've been on. But he says he can't get a
hold of you now, So what's going on with that?
Why are we ignoring Adam?

Speaker 9 (10:40):
Okay, listen, Adam is awesome.

Speaker 6 (10:43):
Okay, He's attractive, he's charming, he's confident, has great energy.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Okay, what's the butt, where's the problem. I want to
go out with it? So we did.

Speaker 9 (10:57):
We did go out, Okay, just sex was amazing.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
But okay, I'm still interesting that Okay, all.

Speaker 9 (11:05):
Right, just wait for it.

Speaker 6 (11:07):
He's leaving my place and you know, he's talking about,
you know, meeting up again, and he just casually slips
in now you know, Oh, he just has to work
it around, you know, like his kids swim schedule, which okay,
yeah cool, he's got kids.

Speaker 9 (11:21):
Fine, and his wife's works schedule.

Speaker 8 (11:25):
Oh how do you think I felt having just had
this amazing night with this man and all of a
sudden learning that he has a wife.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Okay, so hold us.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
So you guys, you met, you talked, you hooked up,
you went on dates. You didn't a way he never
mentioned that he was married. And then like in passing
he's like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, maybe tomorrow, but if
my wife can.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
Pick up the kids. How was it out there? Like
it's nothing and you didn't know anything about this. You
didn't know there was a wife.

Speaker 6 (11:53):
I knew nothing about it.

Speaker 9 (11:54):
I would have never gone out with him.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
That's that's a details.

Speaker 9 (11:57):
I had known that he had a wife.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Be helpful to know. Let me bring Adam, and I
forgot to mention Kristin that Adam is here. I'm very forgetful. Also,
you're married, Adam, and that that's just not important to know.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 7 (12:10):
I mean, did I forget to mention that?

Speaker 9 (12:12):
I mean, yeah, yeah, you forgot to mention that.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (12:16):
No, I'm non monogamous and my wife has agreed to
everything to an open relationship. She doesn't want to live
that life, and so she says that I'm I'm available
to do whatever I would like because she would like
me to be happy in that respect, but she just
doesn't want to know about it.

Speaker 9 (12:35):
So she doesn't want to know about it, like.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Really, and that would be interesting to see because I mean, honestly, madam,
what you're describing is not.

Speaker 6 (12:42):
I don't believe that.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
I don't believe that what are you describing. I have
heard of existing before.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
I have to.

Speaker 6 (12:49):
But the wife actually like agrees and like she's available
to like talk to, you know, potential partners.

Speaker 9 (12:55):
It's like they don't believe quite a few.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
She says she's wanted to be doing it, but at
the same time, it's Aadam, you got it. I'm trying
to rupt you, but you you got to disclose that
the other person involved in this needs to have all
the information because maybe, like in this case, Kristen is
not comfortable with this arrangement even if it's above board
in your house exactly.

Speaker 9 (13:18):
And I mean, if it is about board, why can't
I talk to her? I have trying to you know, with.

Speaker 6 (13:22):
This kind of a lifestyle, and they're always allowed to
talk to.

Speaker 9 (13:25):
The south and get it verified. That's all I'm.

Speaker 6 (13:28):
Asking for, Like, if this is above board, the only
way I could participate in this is if I got
to talk to your wife and she said, yay.

Speaker 9 (13:34):
Baily, she can do this.

Speaker 8 (13:36):
Okay, that's the only way.

Speaker 7 (13:38):
I'm for this, Adam, I can about like a verification,
Like that's not problem.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
I'm not trying to hide anything.

Speaker 7 (13:44):
Like she just was very like she just very much
said she doesn't want to know about it if I'm
being involved with another person.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
But I mean, that's just let's say that Adam's telling
the truth. I'm just going to give him the benefit
of the mount and he is telling the truth. You're
saying that if you could talk to her and verify,
you might be interested. But my question to Adam and
tower you, Kristin, is are you not upset or concerned
about how this might define the relationship? Because even if
it's okay, Adam, what's the likelihood you leave your wife?

(14:13):
What's the likelihood you wind up committed to Kristin in
a relationship like without? I mean, Kristin, do you want
to be a third member of a dynamic?

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Not really true?

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Sign up for that when you meet a guy or
you when you guys start talking and no one just
closes this sort of open relationship thing.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
I mean in your mind, it's it's not make it
for me? Right?

Speaker 1 (14:32):
So Adam, if you fall in love with Kristin, well,
are you going to leave your wife? I mean that's
pretty unlikely.

Speaker 7 (14:38):
But I mean also Kristen said that she didn't want kids,
So I mean, I don't know what's to stop us
from just doing this, Like.

Speaker 6 (14:47):
It'll make me feel like I'm a cheater. I'm a
cheater for the entire length of our relationship.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
How do I introduce you to people?

Speaker 8 (14:55):
Well?

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Then, but like, I just want to try to figure
out this is okay?

Speaker 2 (15:00):
So so let's say it's all on the up and up?

Speaker 1 (15:02):
I mean, is that just so that you know you
haven't been cheating and then you're gonna dump this guy,
or like if she says, yeah, it's true, I let
him do it, then are you okay with those terms?
Because he just said he's not leaving his wife, So basically,
now you can accept that you're.

Speaker 6 (15:13):
Going to be if there's no chance of him leaving
his wife. And I'm just like some weird little secret. Yeah,
I'm probably not interested, honestly, Like, I just I don't
think I can live with that.

Speaker 10 (15:24):
I can't live that way on your head, Kiki, what
because this is like he's insane.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
This is insane.

Speaker 8 (15:31):
Like you, if your wife gave you the green light
to do whatever you want to do, do it.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
But why bring in people unknowingly like hey my wife,
I have a wife.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
You don't tell somebody after the fact.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
I think you've got to lay that out for me.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
I think, Adam, you know that a lot of people
are gonna say no to this situation, and you didn't
want Kristin to say no, so you just didn't tell her.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
That's what I lied, lied, And I can accept that, right, Okay?

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Do we have an accountable person on the Oh, it's
impossible I do think you got to You got to
lead with it, Adam, Like you got to tell people, hey,
I'm in an open relationship, like I got a wife
and kids, and that's not going to change because everything
changes now for Kristen because maybe she didn't want to
be an accessory. Maybe she didn't want to be just
you know, the side thing. Maybe she wants you to
all to herself, and she has every right to make

(16:18):
that decision.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
But if she doesn't know, then look here we are.

Speaker 9 (16:22):
It's just really disrespectful, is really what it comes down to.

Speaker 6 (16:25):
It's incredibly disrespectful, and it puts the other person in
a place where they feel dirty.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
And yeah, have you ever had this problem before, Adam?
I mean I assume you've been doing this for a
little while. Like if you had this issue, where when
do you normally lead with it? You normally tell people
up friend or no, I mean usually to kind of
gauge how.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
How things go. First it's not going to work out, Kristin.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Hey, thank you for your time, and I'm sorry that
you know this happened to you, and I wish you
the best of Adam a good luck out there too
as well.

Speaker 6 (16:51):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
It was an entertainment report. He's on the Fresh Show.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
It is time for one quickie.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
Kristen Bell is getting some backlash over a post that
she through up on Instagram in honor of her anniversary.
So she posted a really cute photo where her tiny
little self is bear hugging her husband Dak Shepard. There's
a big size difference there, and she wrote, happy twelfth
wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me,
I would never kill you. A lot of men have

(17:17):
killed their wives at a certain point. Even though I'm
heavily incentivized to kill you, I never would. And of
course she meant it in jest, but lots of people
called the post tone deaf, siting that October is domestic
violence Awareness Month. One person wrote, that's a wildly sad
and insensitive thing to say, considering it's domestic violence Awareness
month and thousands of women have died at the hands

(17:39):
of the man they trusted. Another pointed out, please keep
in mind that this is something real that lots of
people suffer from on a daily basis, and the text
could be triggering for victims. People said also that they
could not believe she stayed with a man who would
joke like that some did.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
Sure, guys.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
First of all, she did not google what is happening
in the month of October before she wrote a tongue
in cheek post that I think many people can relate to.
I mean, how many times in the course of a
relationship have you said, or even in a friendship or
I could I could kill you for that, I could
kill this person. Ah, you know Italian she No one's

(18:18):
talking about actually killing anyone, right, yeah, or hurting anyone.
It's a figure of speech. And I can promise you
she had no idea what month it was. Guys, Why
are we always looking for the angle to complain? Like,
I promise you she didn't really mean to offend domestic abuse.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Victims for sure.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
For sure, And if you are a victim of that
and that triggers you, just try and understand that that
was not her intention. I understand, Like maybe she will
think now before she posts. But I will also say
the hotline though, if you do need to call the
domestic violence hotline, you can eight hundred seven nine nine
seven two three three or text eight eight seven eight eight.

(19:01):
But let's you know, of course, it's going to be
more triggering for someone who has been through that, who
is going through that, I don't think that she's a
horrific person, like a lot of people are saying, she
did not know.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
She was not targeting anybody with that. It was in jest. Yeah,
if you sorry, if you've been yeah, I'm sorry you've
been through that. But I just guys that it's mistargeted first,
but so many things are.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
Yeah, if you've ever been in a long term though,
you you can relate to the conversation that they had ingest, Pauline.
If people had a bug in your house, they would probably,
you know, if they were listening to some of the
fights you and how you get into.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
Do you think that they would be.

Speaker 10 (19:38):
Like that bug would try to escape so quick just
because there's so the fights are over everything at this point.
But it's like, I love you know, I know, I
know what was last week? We were fighting over something
about oh about not putting something in the oven at
the right temperature.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
Like that's where we're at. Yeah, and you guys take
it to the floor, we take it to the whatever
works for you.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Really, but Paulina, it's oven mid appreciation month. I mean,
how what, I god, what are you doing I do.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
This every year.

Speaker 4 (20:03):
I also love that I met like if your house
was bugged like in the Mafia, and you were like
if there was a bug in.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
My house, about a real bug flying away?

Speaker 4 (20:16):
It's a day today and Paulina is pressing buttons and
she's crushing it and lots of stress, crying.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
I'm pushing button right, I'm throwing up. We've gone through
the full gamut of emotions today.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Are you we have are you pregnant?

Speaker 7 (20:29):
No?

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Me, she said.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
She said she's crying and throwing up. So no, I
was talking about the person throwing up. I just I'm
just making sure.

Speaker 5 (20:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
No, it's giving, it's giving that right now?

Speaker 2 (20:39):
What's this nausea about everything? Okay?

Speaker 3 (20:41):
Oh, we are one and done. Nope, don't you try it.
We're one and done it again.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Let's do the fun Fact. It's about snails and I
wish today and I were a snail and I'll tell
you why.

More Fread Show next right here, The Fread Show. Fread's
Fun Fact, Freds Fun Okay, let's learn so much.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Did you know that some snails can sleep for three
straight years?

Speaker 1 (21:20):
Huh?

Speaker 2 (21:21):
I'm jealous. I wouldn't mind.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
There are days when I think a nice three year
nap wouldn't be so bad, But they hibernate during dry
seasons to conserve moisture, and they literally seal themselves off
and wait out bad conditions. So sometimes I can last
for up to three a three year nap. Yeah, I'm down, Like,

(21:44):
let me know, like maybe now, and then let me
know when twenty twenty eight comes around, and like you
see what's up, then you know, maybe things are better.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
I could. I could do the whole snails thing. More

Speaker 3 (22:32):
Thank you so much, dear blog.

Speaker 10 (22:34):
So over the weekend, I had a little like, I
don't even know what it's called, guess, a Halloween party.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
Well, i'm very you know, creative, crafty woman over here.
I had a party for it.

Speaker 10 (22:43):
My daughter and her birthday is nowhere near Halloween is
an April baby. But I'm really into Halloween and I want.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Her to be too. So I had like a little
Halloween thing at a play place. It was really cute.
We had like a little cousin's calm.

Speaker 10 (22:55):
We had her her little friends comm I guess are
technically my friends and their kids. Yeah they're her friends
now to little friend, her little friends, all your little friends.
And it was so cute and the kids were dressed
up and it was a really great time. Except my
daughter's costume some people, I guess, And I wonder if
this happens.

Speaker 3 (23:12):
Often on Halloween. I know Keiki was talking about the
sexy costumes. There's no confusion there. Okay, sexy is sexy, yes,
But my daughter was dressed.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
Did you get the sexy Nune costumes? Know that that
wasn't that wasn't intended for her. Okay, that was a
fourteen and over costume. All right, come on, got it?

Speaker 9 (23:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (23:28):
No, not this year. This this one was a Megan.
Guessn't know who Meghan is a little scary.

Speaker 10 (23:35):
Yeah, okay, she is far from scary, but like she's
supposed to be scary. But the movie was awful and
I think it's so funny, and I found it like
a spirit or something in the spirit of costume store,
and I was like, I'm gonna make her Megan.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
And somebody asked if she was Hillary Clinton.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
First of all, I didn't realize that there was a
a big, big rush for Hillary Clinton toddler costumes.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
First of all.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
Second of all, I didn't realize there was any good
commonality between those two. Those two well, a character in
a person, right, I don't see the similarity.

Speaker 10 (24:14):
And like, yes, like the Megan costume came with a wig.
She took the wig off because she's not even two,
so she's not gonna wear it. I have a video
of her wearing it. Was funny for five seconds, but
it was off. But without the wigs, she looks like a.

Speaker 3 (24:25):
Colonial woman, look like Hillary Clinton.

Speaker 6 (24:29):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
It was just so funny to me.

Speaker 10 (24:30):
And then I remember at Happy and I Are engagement
party when I made you guys all dress up. Yes,
my friend was pregnant Lucy. She came as I guess
four or fat Thoor. I thought she was Jesus, Jesus.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
I didn't know what she was.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
And I didn't know Jonathan's costume either. He was that
he wore a cowboy hat with like fringe on the front.
He was some country singer. I think I thought he
was Zoro. And that's gotta be the worst.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
You put all this thought into a costume and people
like all night you have to explain. Okay, yeah, I
don't know who that is, right, I still don't, right, Like,
we don't know what that is. That's hysterical. And she
was not in a pantsuit.

Speaker 10 (25:09):
She was in a dressed the photos I need the photos,
I'll post it by side.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
But I was just I just typed in inappropriate kids
costumes because earlier we were just talking about inappropriate costumes.
And as I type in inappropriate kids costumes, like Google,
you know it like starts to fill it in for you.
It says the inappropriate children's underwear. Oh no, And I'm like, okay,
first of all, I didn't even know that was there
was a category of that's right, and then then now

(25:36):
that I didn't click on it.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
But I'm just like, who type that in at some point? Anyway, So.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Woman's Day dot Com has a list of the most
inappropriate that this is their perspective on the most inappropriate
kids costumes. I just want to inform you on what
it says. Okay, number two on the list, and I
don't know anything involving black faith.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Thank you. Yeah, well, thank you. No, that's that's good,
thank you?

Speaker 8 (26:04):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (26:04):
What right?

Speaker 1 (26:05):
I really appreciate that someone there at Women'sday dot Com
thought it was important. Maybe it is, I mean, glord
with the world that we live in. Cultural stereotypes. Apparently
there is a homeless person costume. You shouldn't do that.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
That was a thing.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
Like I feel like a lot of kids used to
dress up they would say hobo, which obviously is not
a good word, but I don't know why that was
a trend, Like this.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
Is an insane list problematic historical figure costumes for children
like Adolf Hitler, Like, what apparently Day of the Dead
costumes that would be inappropriate according to this list?

Speaker 2 (26:42):
Is that true?

Speaker 10 (26:44):
I mean it can be, but it's supposed to be
a celebration of anything, like to paint your face.

Speaker 3 (26:49):
You're basically a skeleton with colors, you know, like pretty colors.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Yeah, yeah, I don't know, but it doesn't have anything
to do with Halloween. I think it was the point
that that white people, I guess were by a prisoner costume,
a religious costume, gangster or pamp costumes for a child,

(27:13):
very funny, and then sexual costumes that would be inappropriate
for a child. So just in case, I'm just here
to help, you know, I'm just here to be a
resource for you all. Where do we live?

Speaker 2 (27:24):
What on earth? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Bring back like the strawberries or whatever.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
What happened to right? What happened to a cowboy? You know, like,
I don't know what happened.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
What happened is just a basic Hillary Clinton costume? You know,
what happened to a pants suit?

Speaker 3 (27:42):
You know, it's so random if that was her costume.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
What happened to the Secretary of State costume?

Speaker 1 (27:49):
Man?

Speaker 2 (27:49):
Like everybody used to wear that one

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
