You've ever been left waiting by the phone it's the
Fred Show. Will, good morning, Welcome to the program.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
Hey, how you doing.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
We are great, Thank you for being part of the show.
So what's going on Will with this woman Selene? We
got to know kind of all the background, how you guys,
mad about any dates that you've been on, and then
kind of where things stand right now.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
Yeah, well I met her on I actually I met
her on Instagram. I DM her.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Okay, yeah, you know modern love, modern love, you know, yeah,
I do. I do know a little bit about modern love. Yeah,
but Instagram, that's the move. Now. We did a whole
story about it last week. People are just not even
doing the dating apps anymore. They're just finding stuff they
like on Instagram and they're sliding the DM. So this
is how it worked for you.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
Yeah, cut up the middle man.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Okay, all right, So you you find your on Instagram,
you slide in the dms.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
Then what happens.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
Well, So then we went out and I felt like
it was a perfect date. I mean it was pretty normal, like,
you know, we did dinner and then we went to
a bar afterwards and we talked. I mean, we're out
pretty late, and I thought she felt the same like
I thought it was a great day, and I thought
she had fun too, Like we were really connecting, and
(02:15):
now she's completely ghosting.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Me, right, I mean that's usually a pretty good sign, right,
Like if you go on a bad date, you might
have a drink maybe too, and then hey, you know what,
I gotta get going or whatever.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Nice to meet you.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
I feel like when you agree to a drink state,
then you really are agreeing to like an hour, you
know what, I mean, A couple drinks, that's it. But
in this case, you guys went had drinks and then
it extended into the evening and you say you were
out all night.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
Yeah, I mean, once you switch location, I feel like
it's like, okay, this chicks it into me.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Well yeah, because they could just bail, right, So that's
usually a good sign. But in this case, you're being
ghosted and you want to know why. So what we'll
do is, I'm going to put you on hold, play
one song, we'll come back. I'm gonna call seleme, I'm
gonna ask some questions. You'll be on the phone at
the same time. At some point you're welcome to jumping
on the call in and maybe this is something you
know that she can explain or something's been going on.
We can straighten things out and then set you guys
(03:03):
up on another date that we pay for.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Okay, yes exactly.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Thanks for waking up with us on the radio and
the iHeart app. You can listen live each morning and
catch up anytime. Search for The Fred Show on demand
and make us a preset. Hey, Will, welcome back. Let's
call Selene. You guys, you hit her up on Instagram
and you guys wind up going on a date. Drinks
turned into like a second location, and you guys were
out for a long time. You thought the date went great,
(03:26):
except she is ghosting you now and you want to
know what's up exactly. Let's call her right now. Good luck, Will,
thank you. Hi's this Selene. Yeah, Hi, Selem, good morning.
My name is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred Show.
(03:47):
I'm sorry to bother, but I do have to tell
you that we are on the radio right now and
I need your permission to continue with the calls. That okay,
if we chat for a second, Yeah, sir, I know
it's a little bit weird, but I get right to it.
We're calling on behalf of a guy named Will who
says you mentioned you on Instagram and you guys went
out recently.
Speaker 5 (04:10):
Yeah, yeah, we did.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Okay, So he described what he thought was a successful date,
says that he's slid in your DMS and you went out,
had drinks and then moved on to another location, had
more drinks. We're out for a while, and so I mean,
what's going on? Because he also says he can't get
a hold of you now and he kind of wants
to know why.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
I mean, yeah, we have a we had a fun date.
I just I saw after that, like we we went
on a date like right before Halloween. And then I
saw some photos like after for Halloween, and I saw
costume and he dressed up as a brustolizer with a
sign that's here.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Humor. No no no, no, no no no.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
So you no, you were fine with this guy and
until you saw his choice of Halloween costume, and then
you're you're thinking, I could never have been seen with
this man, Like imagine if you'd go into the holiday
for you know, the Halloween party with him.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
Yeah, I never.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
I forgot to mention that Will is here on the call.
Will what was the thought process with the Halloween costume?
It's funny, I mean it is funny, but I don't
you know, it's not going to be for everybody.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Wait is that really?
Speaker 2 (05:31):
What?
Speaker 4 (05:31):
Is that really? What happens to me? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (05:34):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
It's not for me. It's just not for me.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
So you so, what what if you guys had gone
to a Halloween party together? What if he came to
pick you up and that was his costume?
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Seleen?
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Would you have asked him to change or would you
have not gotten in the car? I mean, is there
no forgiveness for this? Can you not overlook it and say, like, yo,
that was that was kind of inappropriate and you know,
I don't want to don't do that again kind of thing.
Speaker 6 (06:00):
I just feel like it's truly indicative of like his humor,
and I just I don't think it's funny.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
So it was a bad joke.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
He does seem to be standing by it, but I
mean he is doubling down on this one. But I mean, okay,
so it was it. It was an off colored joke.
You seem to like him though, otherwise, I mean, he
spent the whole evening with him, so or at least,
you know, I don't know, not the whole evening, but
a lot of the evening with him, so you liked
him otherwise, So this particular joke didn't land.
Speaker 6 (06:26):
Yeah, no, it didn't land. I just I just want
like more of like a mature man, and I just.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
To wait, what were you for Halloween, Selene, I'm wondering.
I was Celine Dion.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
Oh that is mature as hell, and I love it.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
No arrows pointing anywhere or anything.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
It was just straight Celene Deon, Like my heart will
go on, Selene, just you know that's it. Yeah, okay, well,
best of luck to you as well. I'm sorry it's
not going to work out.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Calin's entertainment report. He is on the Fresh Show.
Speaker 7 (07:00):
Wors Guard James Harden is being sued for negligence in
a sexual assault case. In the eighteen page filing, a
woman named Marissa said that she was at a New
Year's Eve party at his mansion in Houston and she
was actually sexually assaulted by his nephew Allegedly. She says
her friends were removed from the mansion but she was
left alone inside.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
The lawsuits shows that.
Speaker 7 (07:20):
She is demanding a jury trial and economic compensatory I've
never said that big old word and punitive damages. Basically,
she won't want to get paid money. Yeah, in non
legal terms that I can understand. Also shares that James
is responsible for the actions of his guards and his
security team failed to protect her against a sexual assault.
(07:44):
This headline made me giggle yesterday. It was basically, no
one is going to testify in defensive Ditty.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
That was like what they wrote, didty.
Speaker 7 (07:53):
His lead attorney shared that the rapper himself won't be
testifying in his sex trafficking trial, which I think is
a very smart move their part. His lawyers will instead
present the jury with an array of evidence. His defense
team also shared that they won't be calling a single
witness like I said, to the stand, which is a
change from last week when they said that they'd call
up at least three. Two of the witnesses were supposed
(08:15):
to be from Ditty Enterprises, Combs Enterprises, and a psychological expert.
Over the last six weeks, prosecutors have called more than
thirty witnesses, including three women who claimed that they were beaten,
sexually assaulted, and coerced into freak offs by Diddy, Chicago
Bears QB Caleb Williams, and actress Madeline Klein. Who you
might know from Outer Banks. She also dated Pete Davidson.
(08:38):
And what is Chase Stokes?
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Yeah, yes, thank you, you.
Speaker 7 (08:43):
Gave it to me telepathy, right, yes, yes, good job
you're listening.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
They were spotted together in your learning. You always say
you're not into this stuff. So I'm proud.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
I mean, yeah, I can't help.
Speaker 7 (08:57):
But right, well not times you turn your ears off,
you say you know no when it comes to.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Vander Pump rules in the Housewives. I then that's when
I start playing solitaire.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
Yeah, but other.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Than that, No, I tend to pay attention. Yeah, actual
cards no, yeah, yeah, no I have yet, right, I
shuffle them. Sometimes you'll hear it and I'm over here,
like okay, Well on my phone no oh no, no, no, no, no,
no physically yeah, Jason and I play sometimes.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
She does play on his phone all the time.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
But we gotta agree on the rules. I mean that's
a big deal. I mean that's a relationship ender for me.
Friendship or relationship ender. Do you believe that you can
stack like the draw cards?
Speaker 8 (09:39):
Yes, And the only reason I do is because the
official Uno game on my phone lets you do it.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
I thought it didn't know if they make the rules.
Speaker 8 (09:45):
Yeah, like you could put a plus two and then
I could put a plus four wild on top, or
if you put you, I could put a plus two
on top and it keeps going.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
You can do that, but I can't.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
Yeah, I guess I used to think that it was
like I could put a plus two you drew that
was your action, and then it comes back to me
and I could just keep stacking. But you can't, Like,
you can't just keep stacking the cards. You can't like
save all the action cards for the animas go boom
boom boom boom boom and then just kill the person.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Anyway. I read this in the little instruction manual that
comes with the thing.
Speaker 8 (10:15):
Oh they got get the video game makers then anyway, Yeah, sorry,
sorry Cale to my solitary.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Oh good, go play.
Speaker 7 (10:23):
Madelie Kleine, like I said, and Caleb Williams were spotted
at Summer Smash, which they were, and people were watching
them and filming them. They were watching Sexy Red, but
there was no PDA, and I think that's because everyone
assumed that they were there together.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
But I think she's dating Caleb's.
Speaker 7 (10:38):
Friend Zach Bia, who has somehow gotten every single hot
woman in Hollywood to like him, and I don't understand it.
He's like the it guy, like he used to be
a club promoter. He's friends with Drake, He's friends with
this person not supposed to be like a great dude
in a relationship. But Caleb has reportedly broken up with
this high school sweetheart as you alluded to earlier, and
(11:00):
bought a big, old mansion. So I don't know. But
Madelin Kline was here. Northwest was here. Local celebrities Kiki
and Jason Brown were there as well, sweating their butts off.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
In a golf cart.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
I was thinking this morning when I read that Caleb williamstray,
how do you think these people meet? Like do you
think he's like, she's hot? And then slides in the
DMS and he's Caleb Williams. So it's like, Okay, I'm
paying attention. Or do you think they have common friends
or do you think that he's like she's hot? It
calls his agent, call her agent, work it out.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
Well, she's getting his front. So that's why they were together.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Okay, that's how they met.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
Yeah, it's like in general, I mean like when it
comes to these relations like these hot celebrities that get together, Like,
do you think that they always meet and then ask
each other out or do you think that they use
their status to get to one another, Because like, if
you're famous and I'm famous and I reach out to you,
then do I get preferential treatment over like a nobody
(11:52):
in the DMS.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
I don't think celebrities are sliding. I don't think they
want that screenshot.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
I don't want that.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
I think they sent the portrayal.
Speaker 7 (11:59):
Yeah, yeah, you know, my people will call your people
that way. If you let me down, no one's going
to know about it.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
But I feel like that works with and I know
Tom Cruise used to do that, or at least I've
read that Tom Cruise used to do that, but that
I feel like that works with like the fans.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Like I've been in.
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Situations before where I've seen management walk over to hot
girls and be like, hey, so much that would like
to see you backstage, and then they go. But if
I ultimately like, don't you want to hear from the
actual person, yes, preferably yeah, you know, like don't.
Speaker 1 (12:28):
You want don't you I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
I wouldn't wanted my people reached out to your people,
maybe for the intro, but like, are you going to
do anything right?
Speaker 1 (12:36):
You know?
Speaker 3 (12:36):
But then you get talked about on TikTok.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
Yeah, well that's true.
Speaker 7 (12:39):
That's a whole story time, even for being on RIA.
I remember people were exposing people, you know, but I
don't know. Lastly, though, and this was hysterical. I don't
know if you guys saw this. Jelly Roll embraced the
lookalike comparisons between he and King of Queen's actor Kevin James,
and he did his show in Columbus, Ohio, and Kevin
James literally came.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Out dressed exactly like Jelly Roll, like.
Speaker 7 (13:01):
Backwards hat, same outfit, and they performed together and it
was hysterical. I didn't realize that people thought they were lookalikes,
but they were.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
And he brought him out and it was really funny.
Speaker 7 (13:11):
By the way, if you missed any part of our show,
to take the Fred Show on demand and said us.
Speaker 3 (13:14):
As a preset on the free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
By the way, I needed, oh gosh, reading the text.
I have to make a formal apology, you guys. Really,
I have to make a formal apology, and I want
to just I just can't believe that I made this gaff.
And I'm just so sorry. I'd like to say I'm sorry,
but military Mike, who's in the Navy. I said he
was a soldier and he's a sailor, and I'm so sorry.
(13:37):
I'm just so sorry that I would make that kind
of grave error. He's a member of our military, and
you're he indeed does He's not a soldier, he's a
I'm so sorry. I can't believe I did that.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
Isn't like a captain or something to.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
Uh, he's he's an eighth star general.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
Better get it right.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Can't be a jenny. He's an admiral. Ah guid, I
did it again. Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. He's
a he's a he's an admiral. Yeah, I heard he
just sold you too. That's what I heard. I already
does it all. You know what I heard. I heard
Military Mike may have flown one of those beef fifty
twos over the weekend. It looks like for eighty hours,
even though that's air Force.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
I don't know. I'm just saying. I'm just saying, that's
what I heard.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
You're in trouble now, that's what I heard, Yeah, that's.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
What I heard. Guys, come on my you know here.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
I was trying to give this guy a shout out,
give him a little love, you know, for all he
does for our country.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
And I no, no, no, no, no, no no, I'll
let it happen again. I well, I'm so sorry. The
Fred show is on friend's fun fact.
Speaker 7 (14:44):
Fred fun.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
So much so a guy. This is a true story.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
A guy sued Red Bull for not giving him wings
and won thirteen million dollars. Oh and there's your fun fact.
There's your interesting thing. Today, a guy sued Red Bull
for false advertising, claiming the drink didn't enhance performance more
than a regular cup of coffee. The lawsuit argued that
it's marketing, including the famous logan red Bull gives you Wings,
(15:17):
with misleading. The company settled with the guy for thirteen
million dollars and then offered ten million dollars our free
Red Bull products to eligible customers without admitting wrongdoing.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
Thirteen million.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
This is why people sue everybody all the time, because
it's like I just assue a bunch of people and
then somebody will settle with me.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
I guess thirteen million bucks. Because he's not flapping his wings.
This is the world we live in. Guy, I got
more pread show next
