Yeah no, that is I say, how terrible we are.

(01:02):

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Yes, it's funny, inspire.

Speaker 1 (01:12):

this morning and the entertainment reports are coming up? What
are you working on?

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Okay, we got to talk the Diddy trial and that
journy number six that we were discussing yesterday.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
I'm getting worried about Karen. Read now now I'm getting worried. Yeah,
I promise taking too long. I promised yesterday that she
would be acquitted. It's taking too long. And now I
understand there's the same issue from the last trial with
the with the jury form. No, apparently there's something about
the jury form that makes it maybe appear as though
like I've not been on a jury. I've managed to

(01:54):
get out of it because I have a very important
job I have to do here at the radio station.
Actually it's not even true. They don't care. I just
have never been drawn for it. The times that I've
gotten jury duty notices, you call the number to see
if you have to show up the next day and
knock on wood. I've just never been the guy you
know saying, but you know, if you walk in there,
I don't even know what the case is, I'll be
like guilty, But you, sir, we haven't even told you.

(02:16):
I don't not guilty. I want to be in a jury.
I don't be. I don't because I don't know. It
could take months. But you get all the tea.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
You're anonymous, but you do know you can't go to work.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Sometimes they sequester you. Sometimes they make you stay at
a hotel during the live in a hotel. Yeah, I
was gonna say, yeah, no, no, did these people can
go home? Anyway? That's part of the problem.

Speaker 6 (02:49):
You want to be what of did.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
People act so we can stare at you all day?

Speaker 5 (02:55):
And they're seeing some videos yesterday?

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Yeah, anyway, there's something wrong with it with the form.
I guess where. And I did see it, but I
don't entirely understand. I didn't like study it. But apparently
there's a jury form that they fill out with their
verdict or their their selection for the verdict, and it
maybe doesn't clearly outline. And if there's a lawyer listening
who knows what I'm talking about, then you can hit

(03:20):
us up. But like it. Apparently it's not. And this
has happened in the last trial. It's not super clear
how they can decide on certain cases or certain counts.

Speaker 6 (03:28):
Rather, so it's confusing them, right.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Exactly, And so they wanted it to be different, and
of course Judge Bev said no, because Judge Bev I
correct on the corruption.

Speaker 6 (03:37):
Yeah, Aunt Bev, you mean whatever she is, Well, that's
what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
That's what those cops, those corrupt cops call her, Aunt Bev.
You shouldn't be able to call your judge in a case.
Ant shouldn't be that close to your judge.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
No, I don't think I mean she did it. I
don't think she did it. Well, I call her ant
Kiki all the time, you know, yeah, because when I
go to court, I will only be represent I will
only go to Kigy's score.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
It always was my favorite.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yeah exactly, not guilty, Yeah see boom exactly.

Speaker 6 (04:07):
Yeah, you promise, and I believe I.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Did promise, and I believe too. Christmas morning when I
said it. Oh, I was checking all day yesterday and like,
where's the verdict? Where's it? Come on, let's be done
with this. But the fact that a day day and
two hours later they're still talking about This means they
don't agree, which means that it was not slammed onunk
I slammed. I couldn't even imagine this taking longer than

(04:32):
twenty minutes.

Speaker 6 (04:33):
I got to get in there and talk to them.
I'm sick of it.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
I mean, I don't know. I don't know what they
I don't know. There were people on TikTok though, that
were saying, They're like, there's no way she gets off,
and I'm going, how, like, what what did you see
that I didn't see? I was I was court TV.
The situation room was my living room. I watched as
much of this as I possibly could.

Speaker 6 (04:57):
Paper's on the wall, you know, with like a little point, yes.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Yes, case, Yes, I came over. We briefed it, you know, yes,
with a laser pointer. I know you're the magic wall.
Oh my god, we magic wall out. It takes up
with apartment Shane. Her boyfriend was making for Katia the
whole time, and we were just cooking up bread and
then with and we were doing a full analysis.

Speaker 6 (05:19):
Yeah on this case, I am not. I'm worried, guys.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
I don't think she did it, and I am worried too,
because this is taking too long. If it's taking it,
I honestly would have thought, in my stupid brain that
they would have been just waiting to get in that
little room so they could be like, you, guys, she
didn't do it. Nope, didn't do it. Are you sure?
You sure? Let's sit here for an hour just to
make sure that it looks like we're doing our Job's cool,

(05:43):
you know exactly, Like I'll tell you what. It's Friday.
We only get two hours left. Like, let's just kick
it here for a minute, and then we'll come back Monday.
We'll fiddle far and around for an hour or two again.
Maybe don't feed us, maybe they'll feed us lunch. It'll
look like we re did the thing. But we already
know we're all going home on Monday. It's done.

Speaker 6 (06:05):
That's nice to do about somebody's life, you know, it's not.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
It's crazy. Now I'm starting to think that that maybe
it's not slam dunk in you I slam nk anymore.
I'm really worried about him.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
Can they read to miss trials?

Speaker 7 (06:16):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Yeah, that they can keep doing it and they can
keep trying it. Oh, but that was part of this
was like the form, if I understand correctly, the form
and of Karen read case didn't make it clear that
they could how they could vote on certain cases, or
that she could be not guilty on counters. Right, keep
saying cases count that she could be not guilty for
some of it, maybe guilty for some of it. And

(06:37):
so what they're arguing is that some of these that
she was found not guilty for, or she should have
been found not guilty for it, then this would be
double jeopardy. So some of the counts she shouldn't be
retried on because she's already I don't know. It's all
very confusing. Oh, Fred's show is on Fred's Biggest Stories
of the Day. Well, we avoid political stories, but I mean,
a deal is a deal, and I have a deal

(07:00):
for you all. And this is not an endorsement. I'm
not being paid for this. I'm just covering the news.
I'm a journalist in this. In this particular segment, I
am what's his face from ABC that everyone fantasizes over
David Muhror.

Speaker 8 (07:13):
My guy, Yes, David Muhrort.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Now I got to talk about this about David Muir
and because I guess they. I guess they ABC moved
buildings or something. I don't I don't know, but yesterday
I see a video it was from Good Morning America.
Maybe Good Morning America moved into a new building with
ABC News, I don't know, but they're in a new space.
And so Laura Spencer, the blondehaired lady. I don't know

(07:38):
why she irks me so much, but she drives me nuts. Anyway,
she and somebody, oh, she and Sam Champion, the meteorologist guy,
both with bleed spond here they go up to see
David Muir and the new digs. And so they're walking
through like the newsroom of ABC News, and all over
the walls are like ten feet tall murals of David
Muhr all all over the like and I'm not talking

(08:01):
about like when Lester Holt retired a couple weeks ago,
they had like behind the scenes of his office and
like down the hall of NBC News were like little
framed pictures of Lester like in Iran and like you
know Lester on that chopper and like you know Lester
with some kids, and you know what I mean, like
Man of the People, like all the stories we've covered. No,

(08:22):
these were literally like fifteen feet tall murals of like
David Muir posing in a war scene and it's like
him looking hot with his biceps. But obviously, but I'm going,
why do we need that? Like that's very vain, don't
you think? And I'm not sure that it was his decision,
but like, w what are we doing here? You're a
news anchor, you're you're a journalist. Why do we have

(08:45):
fifteen feet tall posters of you? It's like Key said,
like I like to look at pretty things. Yes, and
he is. He is a very pretty guy. Now there's
no doubt about that.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
So cancel the mirrors for you.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
I say, Well, that was the point I was just
about to make, is that you wouldn't even know walking
in here that any of us work here. They put
us in a box with no windows design but like
we're the problem, like there's a well, yeah, they can't
put it. They put a fifteen foot mural up a
met I'll be peeling that thing off in six months.

(09:15):
So it's like at the rate we're going now, that
might be why they're not putting up murals of the
Friend Show because I don't have a contract. So that
might be why otherwise maybe there would be a big
mural of us. But you wouldn't even know, You wouldn't
know who works here if you walked in this office,
you walk in David Muir's office, that David Murry is here, yes,

(09:37):
but the guy it's like it's like fifteen foot tall murals,
like a bunch of them, and he just keeps walking
by them like they're not there. Like, yeah, it looks
like my living room at home. My mom's got pictures,
you know, from my high school. She got murrors of
David Muir too, Like, Mom, I can't go anywhere with that,
this David Muir guy, She says. Why anyway, back to journalism.

(10:02):
I got a deal for you guys. The Trump Organization
is getting into the mobile phone business. The company behind
President Trump's Business Enterprises unveiled Trump Mobile, which includes a smartphone,
a new cellular service expected at launch later this year.
The announcement coincides with the tenth anniversary of him announcing
his first presidential campaign, and under the flagship plan, the
forty seven plan unlimited talk, text and data for forty

(10:25):
seven forty five a month, okay, and a five hundred
dollars phone as well so hey, a deal is a deal.
I mean, what's the last time you look to see
what you're paying for your mobile service? I have a
Facebook a running right now. Well, what's funny is a
few people in the office this morning, Like we were
talking about it in the hallway and then someone's like,
I'm like, honey, you looked, you looked, you shopped it.

(10:48):
Don't tell me you didn't go see how much it was?

Speaker 6 (10:50):
Does it only have like truth social on it? Like,
can you only get you can only.

Speaker 1 (10:53):
Call Republicans too? Can if you have any any liberal frenzy?
And actually it's not able to connect with them.

Speaker 6 (11:00):
I feel like I can't just do whatever I want
on there.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Yeah, it's giving this. You can only use true social,
you can only watch Fox News.

Speaker 6 (11:09):
They're monitoring us, right, but I hate.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
I'll tell you what though, forty nine to ninety vet's
a deal. I think I pay a lot more than that.
So yeah, way, Tesla is having some issues this morning
in full self driving mode, one of their cars got
hit by a train because it went around a barrier.
A Tesla Model three, reportedly in Elon Musk's full self
driving mode, drove around a crossing barrier and became stuck

(11:34):
on train tracks in Pennsylvania before being struck by an
oncoming train. The driver was able to safely exit the
vehicle before the train hit the car. The Tesla driver
claimed that the vehicle was engaged in this mode, but
it became stuck on the train tracks, And this raises
questions about the capabilities and limitations of the autonomous driving technology.
And I still want to know. If you're behind the
wheel and your car is driving itself and it goes

(11:56):
around a barrier onto a train track where trains are coming,
at what point do you say, huh, maybe I should
see hit the brakes right, this doesn't look good to me.
Maybe I should not, But no I did. We're along
for the ride, I guess.

Speaker 9 (12:11):
And if you're in a way mo or whatever, you're
in the backseat. Yeah, so you really can't do anything.

Speaker 6 (12:17):
Like you can't get no.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
No, you're driving the things driving you to your death.
That's final destination. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know, but I
can honestly see myself if I had one of those
Tesla's with the self driving mode, I think at first
I'd pay attention, and I don't think it would take
very long before I'm you know, needle pointing and you
know on my I mean you you would have a
full TikTok studio in the car. I imagine if you

(12:40):
didn't have to focus on keeping the car straight, keep
telling me, I know, I mean, my god, the amount
of content you would produce would triple.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Get ready with me cooking recipes in the backseat.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
You'd be back there tepping yakiy, don't thing. But they
would drive right into a train track and you wouldn't
even know what happened because youre in the middle of
a production. You're on take three.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Rest in peace.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Yeah, yeah, I know, I just I don't know. It's like,
why are we not. You're driving a large metal object.
You're in it like maybe sort of pay attention, like
kind of out of the side of you, or maybe like,
I don't know, put the newspaper down for a second
to see where the thing is driving. This is for you, Pauline,
and only for you. Stanford University researchers one that popular
chatbot therapists from apps like character dot, Ai, Replica, and

(13:22):
know Me are encouraging dangerous delusions and self harm in
your abusers. Now you don't subscribe to any of these things.
You just go to the free or actually it's your
friends chet GPT subscription and then you type in there
you know what you what you're seeking. As far as
mental health advice, I do that and I no, I know,

(13:44):
I know, I know.

Speaker 8 (13:45):
Yeah, And yesterday I asked for advice about, uh, how
do you how do you tell a friend something?

Speaker 3 (13:50):
It was like ridiculous what I wrote?

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Like it? What did you write?

Speaker 8 (13:52):
It was just like, how do you ask a friend
like or tele a friend that you really don't want
to like spend time with them? Like I know it's mean,
but I'm like just super busy and I but how
do I kindly tell them that? Because it's always the
same thing with me of being busy, but it really is.
And I'm like, how do I kindly tell them that
I would rather do anything else like walk my dom
to hang out with them, but in a kind way.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
That's why we texted me yesterday.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Oh my god, I'm sorry, Jason.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
She'd rather do anything but hang out with me. So
what did chagy B tell you? Did Chad GPT tell
you to do?

Speaker 7 (14:22):
Well?

Speaker 8 (14:23):
CHEGT was like honesty. She's all about honesty, and I
don't like that because I don't think honestly. I always
wait and she said to be honest.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
She sucks.

Speaker 6 (14:30):
Yeah, she said, to be honest.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
And die in that situation.

Speaker 8 (14:33):
Let this person know that I truly am busy at
the moment, but I will get back to them when
I can.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
And I was like, this is this is stupid.

Speaker 6 (14:40):
But you don't want to be friends with them.

Speaker 8 (14:41):
It sounds like, yeah, that's where I was going with it,
but Chad wasn't catching my drift.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Okay, Yeah, So apparently they tested this and bot readily
supported a teen's grandiose levels and even romantic or sexual scenarios,
failing to challenge risky behavior or steer users towards real help.
In one chilling case, Florida teen died by suicide after
chatting with a bot posing as a licensed therapist. Another

(15:05):
teen with autism grew hostile following viral advice from a
chatbot claiming to be a psychologist. Researchers found the bots
reinforced delusions in about sixty eight percent of trials, basically
cheering users on rather than guiding them to support. Experts
say that no kids under eighteen should be using AI companions.
They reinforce harmful thinking instead of offering real therapy. The

(15:27):
APA is urging regulators to step in, saying that chatbot
empathy often comes with the cost of real mental health safeguards.
So we're not driving our cars now, we're trusting a
computer to tell us how to live our lives. Paulina,
come on, I mean, like.

Speaker 6 (15:41):
Yes, please seek professional help by all means.

Speaker 8 (15:43):
And if you're gonna ASKTRGBT like, ask you like what's
for dinner, don't ask you for like what should I
do regarding my mental health? That's scary even though that's
what you do, not a little bit. Yeah, therapist, Yeah,
we sprinkle of advice.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Yeah. And and Wendy's is upsetting many many people. This morning,
their newest ad starts with a loud ring doorbell chime,
and animal owners are not happy and they're complaining about it.
The sound triggers dogs to bark and race to the
front door, turning the ad into a nightmare for animals.
I guess this is fuel now for the dogs. That's
happening to you. Lux goes crazy, he.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Loses his mind when he has a ring doorbell on TV.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
So they're mad about this. I don't think you should
put sirens. I don't think you should put doorbells in commercial.
Sirens you should not put in commercial. Now, if I'm
driving down the street in my car and there's a siren,
I'm looking on where is it? I gotta pull over.
This thing's going to run me over. And then I
find out there's just on the radio. You shouldn't be
able to do that. The ring doorbell chime needs to go.

(16:41):
It gets my dogs all riled up. Somebody step another
pet owner chimed in my daughter's little French. He goes nuts.
You can't catch it with the mute, and people are
very mad saying that when he's just traumatizing dogs everywhere.
So we got people getting farted on victims. We got
victim dogs this morning. We got people on chat he'd
be tea trying get therapy, therapized. We got people in

(17:03):
they're not paying attention, but they're texting right now from
a model. Why as we talk about this, I hope
you got your hands on the wheel. I can nothing
can happen to you. And at least we got cheap
cell phone service as long as there's no branding on it,
as long as no one's ever gonna know phone worse.

(17:26):
There would be sides toilet, there would be indications It's
National mascot Day, National Eat your Vegetables Day, a National
root beer Day. Today with Callon's Entertainment Report, he is
on the Press Show a.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
Follow up to what we were talking about yesterday. A
mail jur that jury number six was booted from the
Diddy trial after the judge said that he lied to
be on the panel about his living situation. Diddy's lawyers
argued that getting rid of him would reduce the panel's diversity,
but the judge said, nope, not today.

Speaker 6 (17:55):
Elsewhere in the trial, things took.

Speaker 4 (17:57):
A wild turn yesterday as the jury was shown graphic
footage of his alleged freak offs.

Speaker 6 (18:03):
Their reactions said it all.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
One looked away, another covered her mouth, and some shifted
uncomfortably in their seats as the explicit videos played.

Speaker 6 (18:11):
The prosecution is.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
Expected to rest soon and the defense is up next,
so we'll obviously keep you updated on all that. Luke
Colmbs is now the only artist with four Diamond certified
country songs, as he just added she got the Best
to Me to his list, which is my favorite song
by him. The certification comes from the group responsible for
certifying songs as gold, platinum, multi platinum, and diamond. Diamonded

(18:36):
certified songs are given to songs or albums that passed
ten million certified units, which is how they measure it.
Caine Brown and Florida Georgia Line are the only other
country stars with multiple Diamond certified songs.

Speaker 6 (18:49):
I think they each have two.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
As for Luke's songs Beautiful, Crazy, Hurricane, when it Rains,
it Pours, and.

Speaker 6 (18:55):
She got the Best of Me.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
Now all hit that milestone, so congrats to him and Cleveland.
Newlywed Jackie and her groom skipped their whole wedding reception
in a full gown and tucks to catch Meghan Maroney
live at a venue called Jacob's Pavilion right after saying
I do in town. There, their wedding planner teamed up
at the venue to make it happen, and so literally
this was their first dance, but it was at a

(19:18):
concert and it happened as Megan played girl in the mirror.
The couple swayed down a lit walkway, cameras flashing, and
some people in the crowd were even crying. So that's
a very cool first dance, to go right to a concert,
hit your favorite song, dance and then go back and party.

Speaker 6 (19:33):
That's like, that would be a dream.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
By the way, if you want to, as I like
to say, and hounce your listening experience, tickle more than
just your ear holes, you know, entertain your eyes as well.
You can go to YouTube and subscribe and search the
Fred Show and we will be right there, our little faces.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Just out of my ear holes. Yeah, Zack state five
three five. I love my model. Why oh okay, is
it a humble break. It's a humble break. I think
full self driving mode more than most Chicago drivers, but
not enough to have a steering wheel in front of me.
My anxiety wouldn't let me right. So you like you

(20:12):
stare at the steering wheel like you look at it, right,
I mean, look, it's cool, Like that would be cool
to be like, okay, here I'm going, I'm going to
work and then push the button and then I just
but I think, and that was my point earlier. Is
I think maybe for like the first I don't know
a few times a couple of weeks, would I would
be very vigilant. I'd be paying attention to it. And
then once I trusted him, I'd be over here, you know,
investing in the stock market. Yep, over here, you know,

(20:35):
putting legos together or something. I mean, look at think
at the time. But we would get back if we
didn't have to pay any attention to driving. But the
problem is then the thing drives you into a lake.
We're onto a train track with a train coming, and
you were sitting there watching it all happen, but you
weren't because you weren't paying attention to That's a meat problem,
not a you problem. I'm sure you're very vigilant and
paying attention to everything. Me I wouldn't take me long

(20:56):
and I'd be off doing something else. Sang yeah, I
want to know eight five five feeh three five. I mean,
this is kind of an obscure one, but I'm just
curious because I saw this this morning. Have any of
you or has anyone Do you have a friend that
you've never met, like a friend, like someone that you
either like In this case, this is the thing I

(21:16):
saw this morning. It's on Reddit. It was a picture
of a man and a woman together and it said
met my internet friend today for the first time. We
started chatting online in two thousand and one, when we
were both sixteen, So that that's what twenty four years ago.
Twenty four years ago they started chatting online. They never met,
they kept in touch for twenty four years wow, and
they went to an Iron Maiden concert together. I guess

(21:39):
they're Iron Maiden fans. But like, I don't know, is
it Is it maybe someone you talk to, like another
branch of your office that you've talked to you for
a long time, never seen, which I guess in this
day and age, is hard to do. People can FaceTime
or you know whatever, but video chat all all the
different zoom meetings and whatever else. But like, I don't know,

(22:00):
have you ever chatted with someone played video games? You
ever had a pen pal?

Speaker 4 (22:05):
I'd made friends on Instagram, but then I've ended up
meeting them like a year or so later.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
But I how did you meet her that DM you?
They listened to the show they DM you?

Speaker 4 (22:13):
Yeah, yeah, I think so, And just over time, like
realized we had similar interests and I don't know, I
felt like I could trust her and then we met
up in person and ended up being a great friend.

Speaker 1 (22:25):
She was an ex murderer. Yeah it's a shame. Yeah,
but you still visit her in prison right now? That
your friends.

Speaker 4 (22:31):
Well, if she was an ex murderer, wouldn't I not
be alive to.

Speaker 6 (22:35):
Tell the tale?

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Well? I think unfortunately she wasn't able to get to you.

Speaker 6 (22:38):
She spared me.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
Yeah, because you were friends.

Speaker 6 (22:41):
Well that's why you meet in public always.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
I agree, But like, is it one of those things?
Is it like between glass when you go to see her,
or is it like across the table. Are you able
to like, you know, sit physically or is it is
it like a video chat on the phone? I what's
it like when you go to.

Speaker 4 (22:53):
See her and you know, I usually bake a cake,
put some treats in there for her.

Speaker 6 (22:57):
Oh, it's always her birthday.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Sneak stuff man, Yeah, yeah yeah. But none of you though,
because I mean this is crazy like to keep it,
I mean, especially now. And I don't know if these
people live in you know, wildly different parts of the
world or something like, you know, really crazy extreme distance.
But I mean, I just think it's it's amazing to
think that people have been able to keep in touch
for this period of time and never meet. Now. Granted,

(23:21):
when you're sixteen, you meet someone on a video game,
you don't have any money. You know, you're not probably
not thinking like, oh, I'm gonna be talking to this
person in twenty five years. But I just I wonder
if this has ever happened to anybody that's a really
long time.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
It has definitely happened.

Speaker 9 (23:36):
I feel like now, like we did the tour, and
that's when I met a lot of the thirteen that
we've been France for over the last two years that
I've been here, and then you finally get to put
a face to name. But it's a few that I haven't.
Like there's this one friend online named c Style. All
I know is her Instagram handle. I don't know her
real name, Lady lyftdriver, I don't know her real name,

(23:56):
my friend, my friend. So it's like, yeah, like, and
I know those people write for me on social media,
rite for ablem of us on social media, but it's
like I've never met them in real life, but I
consider them for him.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Yeah, I mean there are radio people that I've chatted
with for years and years and years and never met
in person. Yeah, that's true, But I mean I don't
know if they're friends some of them are. There are
people that I see very very rarely, but I know
when I see them, I know what's going on in
their lives because of Facebook. That's the only reason I
still have Facebook, cause I can quickly scroll through and
I can get the birthdays. I can hit the birthdays quickly, yes, right,

(24:29):
And then because that's important, I can. I rarely will
message them on Facebook. I'll cheat and I'll go to
Facebook to see if it's the birthday, and then I'll
text them. And then people are like, how did you remember?
I'm on top of it, you know. But then there's
other people that like I'll catch up with them after
years and I already know all the things they are telling
me because I saw it on Facebook. But I know

(24:49):
them like I can't think of anyone who I've been
quote unquote friends with for you know, years and never
actually like, Matt, hey, Melissa, you have an internet friend? Really?

Speaker 10 (25:02):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Multiple? Okay? Are you a gamer?

Speaker 8 (25:05):
Like?

Speaker 1 (25:05):
How does this come about?

Speaker 9 (25:08):
No?

Speaker 11 (25:08):
In like twenty seventeen, I was at a friend's house
and used her PlayStation to play a game just once,
and I met people who I really liked, and we
ended up following each other on social media and we
talked pretty often, and they gave me tips on how
to do my hair or makeup, and I've never met them.
They live in an entirely different state.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
Now, what prevents you from just I was going to
say bags fly free on Southwest, but they don't anymore. So,
I mean, what prevents you have it on Spirit and
you know, ducking from you know, ducking for cover from
the you know, fights in wrestling that happen on Spirit sometimes,
and just going to see these people like it's it's
you know, modern air travel is amazing.

Speaker 6 (25:45):
Yeah, I never genuinely have never thought about it.

Speaker 11 (25:47):
I think I'm just okay with them being my phone ferns.
And I think it's really common for like people in
gen Z to have these friends that they've never met,
that they used or met through social feek media or
other like gaming.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Okay, yeah, I mean it's kind of crazy. I think
eventually that my curiosity would get the best of me.
I'd want to meet the people like, I'd want to
see that they're real, But I don't know, maybe it's
boundaried and doesn't really matter if they were them.

Speaker 11 (26:14):
I choose to believe and hope to not get catfished.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
Yeah, okay, thank you listen, have a good day. Problem.
This is a random story, but I I growing up,
I had a family member who and I don't think
they do I don't know what they do anymore. But
like this person had like a receptionist for their office,
but the receptionist worked in like another office. And you

(26:39):
hired this company to answer the phone for you, but
they like weren't in the same office as you. Oh yeah,
so like this, so one day and so I would
call this person regularly and the same person would answer
the phone. Never saw this person ever talk to them.
They were in the same city, but like they worked
in a different office, and then they would transfer the
call or whatever every day for years. This woman, I
can't remember her name. And one day I'm in a

(27:01):
doctor's office and my sister's there, and my mom's here's
a therapist. My parents are getting divorced, and I hear
this woman talking behind the desk and it's her. It's
the woman who's been answering the phone for years and
years and years and years. And like I was a kid,
so it was always oh hi, Christopher, this whole thing,
and my sister. I was watching my sister for a
period of time, and she was kind of acting up,
and this woman stands it from the desk and starts

(27:22):
screaming at us to like be quiet, and I like,
she didn't obviously know that, like this little boy who's
like birthdays she celebrated and all this stuff, like we'd
never seen each other. She had no idea. We were
just disrupting her like work, I guess. And I wanted
to be like, hey, Karen, it's me. You know, I'm
the kid who's been calling and talk to so and
so for you know, years and years, but I didn't

(27:43):
have the heart to do it. But for some reason,
I think about that story all the time because I
was like, because this is back before you would have
any way of knowing what these people look and I
had no idea who this person was. It was just
you call every day and you talked to it. Hey
can I talk to so and so? Yeah, sure, hold
on every single day you make that call, and it's like,
here's this person. And then she screamed at me. So
it really hurt my feelings and upset me. But it's funny.

(28:05):
It is like a few hours later I called talk
to this person, and there's the lady. Okay, I got
something to talk to you, and I'm like, it wasn't
two hours ago screaming at me. And I know if
I'd said something to her like hey, I think I
know you, I'm so and so, and I would have
changed everything. But whatever. Holly, Yes, Hi, Holly, Hi, it's Holly.

Speaker 9 (28:28):
Holly.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
Sit guys, it's Holly. This is exciting. I'm waiting for you.
You have an internet friend through gaming and you've never
met this person. What's the story?

Speaker 12 (28:41):
Correct? So I've been playing this game it's called the
Old School Rooms game. I probably played it on and
off for about fifteen years. And I hate so many
like internet friends that you mentioned. I have a friend
in Arizona in the UK, and it's just like a
great like bond that we have with the game. But
you know, we all live in a different by staying.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Our country interesting, and so these these friendships, like they
you're appeased by them only going so far, like they
don't need to go much further, Like you don't need
to run and meet these folks, like it's it's good
enough the way it is. They could be, they could
be anyone doing anything and it doesn't matter because it's
just it's boundary.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
I mean, honestly, if I.

Speaker 12 (29:20):
Was like, let's say, for example, those friend I have
in Arizona that played through the game, if I were
ever to visit, I wouldn't mind saying, hey, let's you know,
meet up, because it's like a bunch of us that
are like, well, I'm in my mid thirties playing this game,
and you know, it's like everyone resonates because we're in
the same age, rage playing this game for fifteen twenty years,

(29:41):
and it's just you know, again, this is something that's fun.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Yeah, I think sometimes like the idea of compartmentalizing a
friendship and like having it be in its own lane,
its own little like this is my friend from the
game and we talk about some stuff, but like that's
the expectation, because like, maintaining friendships as an adult can
be hard, and I think it's why adults, many adults
wind up with fewer friendships because it's a lot of work.
But now you got this sort of friend but there's

(30:05):
no real expectation and you're you're you're vibing over the game.
So it's like it's kind of a nice thing. I
don't know, thank you, Yeah, you don't have to.

Speaker 12 (30:13):
Talk about stress and like all work sucks.

Speaker 10 (30:17):
It's just you go on you play, You're like, hey.

Speaker 13 (30:20):
You know, what are you doing in the game, and
you're just.

Speaker 12 (30:21):
Kind of like making that own little world.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
Does that make sense?

Speaker 1 (30:24):
Okay? Yeah? Fair enough? All right, Well thank you, Holly,
thank you. We have a good day. Hey Trisd, Hi, Tris,
So you have an internet friend group and you're all
meeting this weekend. That's exciting. Well, how did you make it?
What's the deal?

Speaker 6 (30:40):
We met on an online auction.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Website for what what were you bidding on?

Speaker 2 (30:47):
I was bidding on I don't know, craft supplies.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Okay, so you're bidding on this. There's like a chat
feature in there or something.

Speaker 14 (30:55):
There's a chat feature, and you know, I kind of
started out with everyone sort of harassing each other, you know,
teasing and picking on each other and being really inappropriate,
and we all find out we have the same that
the credit appropriate of humor.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
You craft is a nasty Okay? Is it all women?
Is it all women meeting? Trish? It's all women.

Speaker 14 (31:19):
There's for women ones in Kansas, ones in Ohio. I'm
in North Stiniana, and the last one is in Florida.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
And where are you meeting? And what's the agenda? And yeah,
what what sort of activities are we going to partake? Again?
What sort of shenanigans?

Speaker 14 (31:33):
Well, I don't know, that's all. We left it all
up for chance. So we're all meeting. I got myself
West tickets ahead of time, so I my bags are
flying free.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Hell yeah, you got deadline, that's right. Now, hold on, Church,
I have to ask what everybody's wondering. Is there a
sexual component to this?

Speaker 2 (31:53):
Well that's to be determined.

Speaker 15 (31:54):
We left it open.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
Now hold on, I have to ask that again. And
you can tell me, you can tell me this is
too far, but you know me. I don't have limits.
I have no filter. Are you? Are you? Are you
a lesbian? Are you? This your interest?

Speaker 7 (32:06):
And it's not.

Speaker 14 (32:07):
I am married and I have three children, who I
tell you never go meet up with people.

Speaker 10 (32:10):
From the internet.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
So done? Does your husband know that you might go?
And you know, get it on on the day's end somewhere.

Speaker 10 (32:18):
We're all staying at one of their houses.

Speaker 1 (32:22):
Oh okay, so all four of you, none of you
have met each other before, and you're all flying somewhere
to meet at and you're going to stay in a
person's home that you've never met. Also, like, so this
is wow.

Speaker 14 (32:34):
Way way outside of my comfort zone.

Speaker 10 (32:36):
I'm doing it anyway, And it's happening.

Speaker 1 (32:38):
On Friday Saturday morning. And when do you get back?
When are you supposed to be? Can someone check it?
Can one of us have can one of us have
your location? Please?

Speaker 10 (32:51):
My coworkers are convinced I'm getting killed.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
Yea. How strong are your organs? I think there might
be some organ harvesting going on here.

Speaker 14 (33:00):
Wow, I'm the tough one in the groups, so I
have the least amount of fear.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
This is Can we call you back after Yeah, when.

Speaker 14 (33:08):
You get back midnight Tuesday night, I'm.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
Going to put you on holding. Get your phone because
I want to hear how this. You have to promise
to tell us how this all ends up. But I
want to know if you're if you're straight, where does
the sexual ambiguity, like where does where does that component
come in? Have you guys talked about all like just
sort of getting it on together?

Speaker 16 (33:26):
No, we have not.

Speaker 10 (33:28):
I'm not sure be any of that.

Speaker 14 (33:30):
I mean, she has a wife and teenagers.

Speaker 2 (33:33):
So she has a husband teenagers.

Speaker 17 (33:35):
So I don't know that it'll be gone.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
But you didn't shut it down. Like when I said, hey,
crafting friends this weekend and wherever. And I asked you
if there was a sexual component to this. You didn't
say absolutely not. You said to be determined. So what
makes you never.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Know what can happen?

Speaker 18 (33:50):
Right?

Speaker 6 (33:50):
I mean you.

Speaker 10 (33:52):
Don't never know what can happen to.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Just make sure there's a safe word, okay, and also.

Speaker 14 (33:58):
Drinking and shopping most like, wow, you don't know when
involved any you don't know?

Speaker 1 (34:04):
Wow? Okay, Well we're gonna put you a whole trip
put on the calendar to call her on Tuesday or Wednesday,
either way. I got to know what happens here. You know,
we're praying for you. Okay, thank you?

Speaker 19 (34:18):
Okay, all right, say I go in a minute.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
I want to know why she's a straight, married woman
with a bunch of others straight. And I say to you,
is there a sexual component to this visit? And she's like,
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (34:32):
Why don't we know? We do know. We're just not
saying more. She's just open. Whatever happens, you're going to
feel the vibe.

Speaker 5 (34:39):
The other three Wow cafters, man, it turned out this weekend.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
Hey you look at this. I thought this was an
obscure topic and you guys are blowing me up. Beth Any,
good morning, good morning. Hi. So you have an internet
friend and now you're engaged.

Speaker 15 (34:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (34:54):
So we we met in twenty nineteen. I actually had
I was in another relationship at the time, but we
were in We're both in an online group of people
who work in hotels and he is actually in Australia.
He's Australian, and we started talking because he was helping
me with an issue I had with the system at work.

(35:18):
And here we are six years later.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
Wow, and you've met.

Speaker 10 (35:23):
Oh yeah, I went. I lived in Australia for a
year because of him, and he came to visit me
like it was COVID. So we could only talk online
for like three years.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
And Bethany right here, So what happened after how long
of chatting did you say, I'm going to Australia to
meet you.

Speaker 10 (35:44):
Well, he came to us. He came to America.

Speaker 1 (35:46):
Okay, okay, yeah, good for you.

Speaker 10 (35:52):
I won't be flying there again by myself, that's for sure,
because that was a terrible flight. But yeah, he came here.
I think like three years after we started talking.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
Okay, wow, so you talk for three years and then
was it every you're engaged now? But like, was it
when you finally saw him after three years of communicating?
Was it everything you hoped it would be.

Speaker 10 (36:16):
Yes, it was a little awkward at first because I
think it was just like so much.

Speaker 20 (36:20):
Of a lead up.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
But yeah, a lot of pressure, a lot of pressure
after three years. I would think for you to be
in front of him and him in front of you
and hope that it matches.

Speaker 10 (36:30):
Yeah, Luckily it did because otherwise he I don't know
what would have happened. He was going to be staying
with me for two weeks.

Speaker 1 (36:36):
So oh my gosh. Well, congratulations and thank you for calling.
Thank you, have a good day. Okay, Well, a lot
of people do this, I guess I can't wait for Wednesday.
By the way, Yeah, I got more Fresh Show next
Fred Show, Good Morning one O three five Kiss FM,
Chicago's number one hit music stage. Our friend. That story
is there's this more to that story about the woman

(36:57):
who's flying with the other three ladies that have never
from the Crafting website. There's more to the story, and
I can't wait to hear what it is. But there
was a lot of question there, like like, I'm going
on a trip this weekend, guys, this is a whole
different topic.

Speaker 5 (37:12):
But remember the guy I don't know.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
In fact, maybe in blogging it's a second, I'll get
into this because I I done did it. I done
did it, and I told you guys about this story.
But I'm going on a trip. Uh, it's a it's
an annual guys trip from a guys group that I'm
not in. It's I'm friends with one of the guys
and he invited our friend Dennis from Carbon Dala, the
guy who runs the ad agency.

Speaker 6 (37:38):
Other friend Dennis.

Speaker 1 (37:39):
I was like, Dennis Clark. If I go on a
guy's trip to Pump Springs with Dennis Clark, I think
we all know what's happening there. God bless that man.
I'll get into it and blogs for a second, but like,
I don't I don't know any of these people, but
I can tell you exactly what isn't going to happen,
you know. But this in this situation, it's like, oh,

(38:01):
let's I don't know anything could happen. Like what makes
you think that? What makes you think anything could happen?
I don't know. I don't know. What do we have
for you for free? Today? We have Jason runs through
every Okay, thank you tickets? Yeah yeah, Carpenter because I'm
one day like I know what I know, wax, I
don't know what's gonna happen to Yes, I do, I

(38:21):
know what's going to happen tomorrow already, but I get confused,
which day is it? Where am I? What am I doing?
Stray kids got the talk back for tickets seven to
fifty five. We'll give you a keyword. You know it's
going to be wacky because Jason's now getting a little
clever with these keywords, making me say crazy stuff. So
we'll give it to you at seven fifty five. If
you have the iHeart app, you can leave us a
talkback message click on the microphone using that word, your

(38:42):
name and where you're from, and then Brady will have
your tickets later on this afternoon. We also have many
other things of Caigo tickets. Almost said diplow, but it's
Kaigo's one word, same thing, but very different, same thing,
but very different different right summer smashed tickets this morning,
all kinds of stuff and yes, I will, I will,

(39:05):
I will give full context of what I'm talking about,
because you guys already know about this, but I'll remind
you in blogs in just a second. So this is
what we gotta do. You know this, This is why,
this is why we're masters of our craft, because now
you explained it, because now you have to listen another
few minutes to hear what I'm saying. See, Yeah, So enjoy,
enjoy whatever happens between now and then. Hey, wake up.

Speaker 6 (39:30):
Do you think I'm building a picture here?

Speaker 1 (39:32):
I'm on the picture, so that you're building a picture,
You're painting.

Speaker 6 (39:38):
I'm pazy a.

Speaker 1 (39:39):
Yes, I'm painting. Fred Show is on today morning. It's
Tuesday Tune seventeenth thread Shows not hig Kalin, Good morning,

the phone. In the text eight five five, five, nine

We'll get to some relationship drama on just a second.
Shelby's Jelly nine hundred bucks. New player in the game

(40:03):

Entertainment Report this hour too. What are you working on? Kay?

Speaker 6 (40:09):
We are talking to euph You and Jason's new favorite
movie F one.

Speaker 1 (40:12):
Yes, I told you you'd be an F one guy.

Speaker 5 (40:15):
I am an F one guy. I saw it last night,
so good. Now you need to go watch Drive to Survive?

Speaker 1 (40:21):
Is that a movie? Which documentary sort of thing about
F one on Netflix? Yeah? Yeah, you know you'll enjoy.

Speaker 5 (40:30):
I watch a real F one race on Sunday, like
an actual one on TV.

Speaker 1 (40:33):
What the Canadian one? Canadian Grand princ Canada baby, Yeah,
so fast. I refuse to watch F one now because
I want to. I don't want to know what happens
when I'm watching Drive to Survive. This was like a
documentary because it like follows the season and then after
the season it goes up. So if I watched, I know,
if Max for Stapping is the winner, you know, then
it's not as exciting for me. So I can't. I

(40:56):
can't watch it. I can't watch real TIMEUS. A lot
of them are in Europe and they're like as by
John and they're on it, you know, two in the morning.

Speaker 5 (41:02):
Yeah, what you say, Yeah, I said that to you
there By John.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
It's enough one term you want to understand, that's enough one.
It's a place, Yeah, yeah, yeah, you can google it
a frend show and they whip me stay or go.
They whipped me now. Yeah, Brianna's here, Hi, Brianna, good morning,
Good morning. By the way, when I said to you,

(41:28):
look up az by John if you can spell it,
then someone texted me our friend Violetta and said that
was funny. There wasn't a slam though. I don't know
how to spell azrab by John, So if you wanted
to know where it was, you'd have to. I guess
you have to get close, Like how many words is that?
I don't even know it's one word, but I think
if you, I think you could get close enough that
but I don't. I don't think I would spell it

(41:48):
right the first time I got it by John.

Speaker 20 (41:53):
John.

Speaker 1 (41:54):
I just wouldn't get it right the first time anyway, Brihanna,
I don't know. Don't worry about that. So here go.
They thank you for your note. You can DM us.
You can hit us at Friendshire radio dot com. So
you are in a new relationship with a boyfriend of
about six months. This has been going on, yes, And I.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
Want to just preface by saying we are very happy,
We're very into each other and everything is great except
one thing.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
Great, nice topic this, thanks for calling. You just want
to call here and brag I'm so happy in my life.
Scrubs stark That yeah, that relationship. Well, so what is
the one thing? Though?

Speaker 2 (42:34):
Well, so we have a very big age yet. So
I'm twenty four and he is fifty.

Speaker 1 (42:40):
Okay, all right, so we get a nice, nice twenty
six year age gab. Now I need to hear both
of it. Now, I'm not quite fifty. In fact, I'm
not anyone you're fifty. But but but you know, let's
defend the older let's defend the older men dating the
younger women thing for a moment until I hear the
whole thing. So how did you meet? And like, why
are we talking of? If you're happy? I get that

(43:02):
it's a huge age gap, but like what the insecurity?
Like where does it come from? Why are we talking?

Speaker 2 (43:08):
Well, we met while we were both out, and this
is not like a thing for me, like I don't
seek out men that are older than me. But we
met at a bar. I thought he was much younger
than fifty. He does not look fifty, and I approached
him and then we got along and after talking for
a while, he was like, by the way, how old
are you? So I wasn't like looking for this, but

(43:29):
it just kind of happened. And we've been dating for
six months now, so it's like kind of getting to
be time to introduce into my family. But I'm very
afraid of how they're going to react. They know that
I'm dating someone, but they don't know his age.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
Does he have kids? How old are his kids? He
does not have kids, okay, because that could get a
little Weirdah, you know if I agree, if his kids
were you know, close to your age. And there's my dad, right, yeah,
that's right. Your dad has dated someone. You're one of
your friends?

Speaker 4 (43:58):
Right, Well I'm not her friend, but we did to
attend the same high school at one point.

Speaker 1 (44:02):
Yeah, we're not friends now are we?

Speaker 6 (44:03):
We never were? But I can't help no, mom, right,
Oh my goodness.

Speaker 1 (44:11):
So weird. And so your family's like, oh, this is
so exciting, Brionn has met someone or whatever. How do
you I mean, is your dad? Let me see, if
you're twenty four, your dad your dad could very easily
be close to his age, which could make things kind
of weird. I mean, are you worried? About what they're
going to say, I am.

Speaker 2 (44:30):
I mean, I don't think they're going to tell me
to break up with him, but I don't think they're
going to be like jumping for joy about it. And
my friends know about him and they're concerned. They've told
me that they're concerned.

Speaker 1 (44:41):
Well that says a lot now why it's a huge
age gap, right, But like why if you're happy, why
are they concerned? Would be my question?

Speaker 2 (44:50):
Well, none of them have met him, and I think
they're just like, why is a fifty year old man
dating a twenty four year old? Like they think it
reflects badly on him, but he's such a great guy
and they don't know him.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
So I have a lot of questions. First of all,
eight five, five, five, nine, one one three five, you know,
you know, what what do you think when you hear this,
this twenty four year old fifty year old dynamic? I
also would ask the question like why is it necessarily
a bad look? Like if you're a mature twenty four
year old and he's a decent guy and he's not
a perver, a weirdo or creep, then I guess I

(45:24):
don't know why this couldn't be a thing like, yeah,
it's unorthodox, but like why, I don't know, I don't,
I don't know. I mean, I've dated people of all ages.
I'm forty four. I've dated people anywhere from twenty five
to over fifty, so I've gone both ways. But like,
if I date someone who's over fifty, no one says
anything about that. I've dated people who are twenty eight
and the next person I date is my age, and

(45:45):
they think that they think I'm disgusting for that. But
is am I disgusting for that? Or is there an
insecurity about that? It's like you were dating someone so
much younger, what are you doing with me? It's like, well,
because I can like both things, right, Like, I'm not
necessarily I'm not targeting twenty twenty somethings. But if I
meet someone that I connect with you, then I'm not

(46:06):
really sure that I care about the age necessarily. But
your priorities may differ. I mean, he's fifty, Like, do
you want kids? He may not want kids, he may
want not want to start now, Like I feel like
that's the kind of stuff that might get you in trouble. Heard,
I mean, do you want kids? She's like received yeah, yeah, yeat,

(46:27):
you know, yeah, do you want kids?

Speaker 2 (46:32):
I think I do? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (46:34):
Okay, Well, I mean did I get on it?

Speaker 20 (46:37):
Do you?

Speaker 1 (46:37):
I mean, have you had that discussion with it? I
feel like it's that kind of stuff that where you
you might have an issue because you might very well
be very mature for your age and and find that
this guy offers security and money, a parental figure, you know,
or something that maybe well I'm just saying like, you're
allowed to You're allowed to be to gravitate towards whatever

(46:58):
you need, right, and maybe and there's something wrong. You're
both adults, right, I mean, there's nothing inherently wrong about this,
But I guess I wonder, like, do you do you
think that you will align on all of the principles
and all of the goals that you have for one another? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (47:16):
Those are valid concerns, But I am also just kind
of like living in the moment of this relationship, and
for the moment, it's very good.

Speaker 1 (47:23):
Is he rich?

Speaker 8 (47:25):
Hell?

Speaker 2 (47:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (47:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (47:28):
When leaving me, I want to say that, like, you know,
when I was twenty four, I'm surprised that anybody went
out with me. When I was thirty four. I'm surprised
that anybody went out with me, to be honest, like,
the difference between the human being that and I'm not
sure that's saying much, but the difference between the human
being I am now and I was twenty years ago
is significantly different. And I don't know, I'm much more settled,

(47:49):
I'm much more kind of like, you know, I don't know.
I don't have anything to prove to anybody anymore. I
am who I am. I don't know. I think I'm
a better version of myself. You know, back I thought
I was hot stuff, and I I don't know, I
had a lot to prove. I didn't have any resources.
I didn't know, you know, my butt from a hole
in the wall, you know whatever. I just so, I

(48:11):
guess I can see why younger women gravitate towards older men.
I just wonder, I just wonder how long you're you're
sort of you're gonna be on how many points you
were aligned? Or hey, are you happy not having kids
and being with a guy who's much older, who's rich
and there's security there, And I mean, I guess, I
guess this all depends on what your priorities.

Speaker 2 (48:30):
Are, right, God, lots to think about. Geez.

Speaker 1 (48:35):
Yeah, all right, Well, let me take some calls on this,
Brianna and I will have to follow up. I can't
wait to hear and let me get Let me guess, Brianna,
he's got money, he's he's he's mature and confident and
the sex is really good. Right, what's them? Brianna? Thank you,
good luck, have a good day, keep the radio and

(48:55):
we'll see what people have to say. Bye, Calyn, You've
done something like this.

Speaker 6 (49:00):
Yeah, twenty was where I maxed out, maxed out.

Speaker 1 (49:02):
Excuse me, choked up there, think about it, see emotional Yeah, yeah,
when beneath my wings, Yeah, twenty is where.

Speaker 6 (49:12):
I maxed out. But I don't know.

Speaker 4 (49:14):
I mean, I do also have concerns, Like one of
the reasons that I'm not so in that relationship is
like I and this is dark, but like I took
care of my grandpa as he was dying, and I
was like, I'm about to do that and like ten
years for this man, you know what I mean, Like
I just fought, I can't do it again.

Speaker 1 (49:28):
He was in his fifties. Yeah, he was fi I
think you had a little bit more time than that.
Hopefully I hear what you're saying.

Speaker 6 (49:34):
I was like, I can't do that.

Speaker 1 (49:35):
You're going to be a caretaker at some point you
marry this guy.

Speaker 6 (49:37):
Yeah, so that was part of it.

Speaker 4 (49:39):
Honestly, I was like, I need I need a little
because I want to have kids.

Speaker 1 (49:43):
But I think I I don't want to say anything.
I think that generally women think that men who date
women who are much younger are doing it like it's
only to their benefit, like it's just about sexually, just
about it own body, or just about just about or
or somehow it's like naivitae or lack of maturity or

(50:06):
manipulation or something.

Speaker 10 (50:08):
Not.

Speaker 1 (50:08):
Every twenty something I've gone out with appealed to me right,
like they could be banging in every way, but like
we couldn't connect because we didn't have similar priorities because
they were I mean, I've met very mature late twenties,
early thirties people who you know, they're not into the partying,
They're into the things that are traditionally stereotypically young stuff,

(50:28):
stuff that we all did go out and going out
every weekend and going out and getting crazy, stuff that
you maybe don't do when you get a little bit older.
So it hasn't always appealed to me, right, Like, sometimes
I've noticed the maturity gap and it doesn't work. So
I don't think it's in And sure, I think there
are guys out there with a boat and they're rich
and they're old and they're divorced and they just want
hot chicks and they don't care about talking to them

(50:49):
or connecting kind too, And that's all right too, if
that's if you're transparent about that. But I don't know
that it's I don't know that it's always as it looks.
I think there are examples where it's like that, and
I think there are examples from the other way where
the girl has really no interest in the guy. He
has interest in the money and the resources and not
getting messed with, you know, or not being with an
F boy a younger F boy, g right, and like her.

Speaker 4 (51:11):
Like, who's asking I mean, I'm not asking ages, so,
you know, like for my ex, for example, he looked
he didn't look his age, So who's like going, wait,
how old are you?

Speaker 1 (51:20):
No, Well, Diane, you say this is too big of
an age gap. This is a hard nol for you.

Speaker 12 (51:25):
Yeah, And when he was twenty four years old is born.
She was, I mean when he was twenty four, she
was born. It's no, absolutely not. I have a daughter
that's almost that age, and I would absolutely not be
on board with this.

Speaker 1 (51:38):
So she comes home with me. I mean, let me
ask you this. She's she's around twenty four, your daughter, Diane,
she's twenty five, okay, And I'm sure that in her
life you've seen her dates some real douchebags that are
her own age, right, And they're douchebags, maybe not because
they're inherently bad people, but because they're young and stupid
and naive and and and immature, because we all are

(52:00):
before we know better, right, So like would you there's
no way that you could see this for what it is,
which is maybe he's a decent guy and they connect
and he's and he's got his act together more than
somebody her own age might.

Speaker 20 (52:14):
I can't.

Speaker 10 (52:14):
It's my husband day. It's appropriate because by the time
she's going to have babies with him, he's going to
be ready for bad.

Speaker 1 (52:23):
Another wrong with that?

Speaker 6 (52:24):
Are you ready for.

Speaker 1 (52:26):
Let's the big time? All right?

Speaker 2 (52:30):
Going to be falling apart?

Speaker 12 (52:31):
Come on, now, I see the concerns.

Speaker 1 (52:37):
I see the concerns, but I guess I take it
more to are their lifestyles going to align? Are their
goals going to align? Because I do think it's possible
that they both could be good people. And yeah, okay,
thank you, Diane, I know, I know, yeah, okay, well,
thank you, Diane. Have a good day. You may not
want to have kids. You may want to, I don't know,

(52:58):
travel the world and and be secure and and maybe
that that guy can offer that, and someone your own
age can. I mean, I think I think we all
assumed that everybody has similar priorities, and maybe this woman doesn't.
I don't, but she did say she was thinking about kids,
and so that's an issue. Hey, Liz, Hi, Hi, Liz,
So you this resonates with you. You've been on the on

(53:19):
her side of this.

Speaker 7 (53:21):
Yes, not such a huge age cap. But I dated
someone who was fifteen.

Speaker 10 (53:27):
Years older than me years ago.

Speaker 7 (53:29):
I'm thirty now, and I dated this person when I
was twenty two, and my parents were not on board
with it.

Speaker 10 (53:37):
They didn't they didn't like it.

Speaker 7 (53:39):
It was more like, I've never looked my age, so
I look way younger than I actually am, and they
just thought it was weird and I've dated that person
for two years, and we were.

Speaker 1 (53:53):
Like, why did it all? I'm sorry interrupt you, but
why did it ultimately not work out?

Speaker 7 (53:59):
I And it was like I had a different mentality
back then, like I wanted to go out and party
and do.

Speaker 10 (54:05):
All this stuff.

Speaker 7 (54:06):
When you're like twenty and he's always here trying to
like settle down and start a family and everything.

Speaker 1 (54:12):
It was more like that type of I see. Okay,
so you were attracted to each other and there was
like a connection maybe physically or whatever, but again that
your priorities were different. Yes, yeah, yeah, Okay, Well, thank you, Liz,
have a good day's glad you called. That's what That's
where I think ultimately they may align. I don't know.

(54:32):
Not every twenty four year old wants to go out
and get hammered every weekend. Not every fifty year old
is like you know, in a recliner on an AARP website,
you know, I mean, I think there's probably a compromise
in there somewhere. Hey, Diane, another diet Diane number two
certainly no less important than Diane number one, just the
second one to call in this segment. What do you

(54:54):
think this is a woman who called in stay Orgo?
She's twenty four, didtyon guy who's fifty. Her friends are
concern her family doesn't know, and she's been with him
for six months and is happy, but is in sure.
What do you think?

Speaker 15 (55:05):
Well, I think if she were confident in knowing that
this is a good relationship for her, it's really healthy
and strong. It doesn't matter what other people think. But
I'll tell you, I think her parents might pick up
on that and say, wow, this could be really good
for you, because that's what happened with me. And I
was forty five. He was twenty three years older than me.

(55:26):
He was the age of my father, and of course
they had some you know, like a second thought, but
when they met him, they could see how he related
to me and how I related to him, and it
was wonderful.

Speaker 2 (55:39):
My mom actually cried when we broke up.

Speaker 1 (55:42):
Oh wow. And what ultimately was the demise of the relationship.

Speaker 15 (55:47):
What ultimately happened, Well, what happened was it was an
energy difference where he actually had more energy than I did.
I was more of a deep thinker, profound meditation, spirituality
kind of a person, and he was more of a
let's go travel let's go here, let's go there. And
I'm the world's worst traveler, so I wanted him to

(56:10):
be free to do what he really felt like.

Speaker 2 (56:12):
He wanted to do. And I said, you know this,
I really need to let let you.

Speaker 1 (56:17):
Go oh wow wow. And Diane, I think I feel
like when people hear these age gaps, all they're thinking about,
or at least the first thing it comes to their
mind is sex. The first thing that comes to their
mind is this is this is about sex, This is
about the physicality the old guy wants young girl. And
I don't that's certainly probably an element in a lot

(56:38):
of these cases, but I don't think it is in everyone. No.

Speaker 15 (56:41):
Oh no, gosh no. I mean that was part of it,
and we both had kind of like wounded backgrounds in
that area. But the other part of it was that
we were so deeply connected in a just a fundamental
way that we had fun no matter what we did.

Speaker 1 (56:58):
Yeah and so yeah, And in which case, it had
nothing to do with age. Really, it had more to
do with your interests and what you guys wanted to
do in life. And and I think that the situation
you ran into could happen if you were the same age,
or if you were thirty years apart. So I'm sorry,
think about it.

Speaker 15 (57:14):
Oh all the time, and we still stay in touch.
He's a lawyer. He did my mother's papers before she passed.
He was at my dad's funeral. I mean we cried together.
He's still a wonderful friend.

Speaker 1 (57:26):
But you won't reconcile. There's no way that that you
can see, you know, finding some common grounds.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
At this point he's in his nineties.

Speaker 1 (57:34):
Oh well, I'm going to say, you know, when I can.
You want to get his papers, get some papers of
your own, you know, ok, yeah, okay, I mean you
did the hard work, you know, time, time for the payoff,
you know. Oh god, we're terrible. All right, thank you, Diane,

(57:55):
have a good day. Thank you, Thank you for sharing.
All right, I only have time. It really was sweet.
And now I mean, yes, I will also say forties
and sixties I think are probably less of a maturity
difference than twenties and forties. Yes, in any case, so
I can see them. But listen from the male perspective,
here comes big Rich. Ben Rich is here. He's forty seventy.

(58:18):
His girlfriend's twenty five.

Speaker 6 (58:20):
My man, congrats, right.

Speaker 20 (58:22):
Come on, come on, we don't have to make it
sound like that, Fred, Is it like that?

Speaker 1 (58:28):
Is that what it is?

Speaker 20 (58:30):
I mean that those are the numbers.

Speaker 1 (58:31):
Yes, those are the numbers. And how did you mean?

Speaker 20 (58:35):
We met at a mutual friend's house. So when we
were introduced, she told me she was twenty eight years old.

Speaker 1 (58:42):
Well that's a big difference, Rich, twenty.

Speaker 20 (58:45):
Twenty.

Speaker 1 (58:45):
Come on, man, so you.

Speaker 20 (58:47):
Hello, you been together the prime at the time, she
was twenty three, and she told me she was twenty eight,
and every time I saw her after that it went
down a year.

Speaker 1 (58:55):
Okay, all right, so she's eighteen years It says on
the screen, you've been together for two years. Yeah, So
what's the future.

Speaker 20 (59:03):
Living together for two years, dating for like just a
little over two years?

Speaker 1 (59:07):
Yeah, okay, and so what is it? Woll she pulled
she pulled adjasent on you and just moved in and
never left. Aint nothing wrong with that? What what's the
endgame here?

Speaker 5 (59:15):
Like?

Speaker 1 (59:15):
Are you gonna get married and have kids and do
all the things that you would do with you? Yeah?

Speaker 20 (59:20):
Yeah, that's that's that. That's what we're that's what we're
hoping for. I mean, we're obviously trying to get some
stuff ironed out, uh, each of us in our in
our lives, and then you know, her thing is she
wants a white fence. Pick a fence, and then she'll
get married.

Speaker 1 (59:33):
Rich has to get divorced and she has to graduate
high school. So there's a luck going on.

Speaker 20 (59:37):
I've been divorced for seven years.

Speaker 1 (59:42):
Richie was too easy. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but no,
I hope. Look, I hope it works out if you
guys connect and everybody you know and you're on the
same page, and then I don't know who would who
should judge rich.

Speaker 20 (59:53):
Right, Yeah, we get we get a lot of judgment
online and stuff like that. And she has She posts
a lot of one of her TI talk says wish
we met earlier, and then it shows a picture of
me and and uh two thousand and two and her
in two thousand and two.

Speaker 1 (01:00:06):
And I love doing that. Yeah, that's not that's certainly
going to feed the narrative. Hey, rich good luck Man.
I appreciate you calling. Have a good day. You're good sport,
all right? Not good for rich Man? Yeah yeah, Hey,

(01:00:30):
no college loans for her and he can pay for it.

Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
You know, I want to give me a oh Man,

Speaker 1 (01:00:36):

Speaker 6 (01:01:18):
Have to start out with such a sad story.

Speaker 4 (01:01:20):
Former Gray's Anatomy and Euphoria star Eric Dane is fighting
als and has tragically lost functionality in his entire right arm,
with his left side beginning to weakend. While updating fans,
he shared a really frightening moment while snorkeling with his daughter,
and he says that she had to pull him back
onto the boat herself because he couldn't power through the water. Eric,

(01:01:40):
who was diagnosed back in April after nine months of testing,
said I have one functioning arm a couple more months,
and I won't have my left hand either. Tearing up
as he spoke of how als could take him away
from his daughter's and intense physical challenges, he said, I
don't think this is the end of my story, while
confirming that he will continue acting, including returning for season

(01:02:02):
three of Euphorias. So I'm not sure if they'll, you know,
write his illness into the show, or how they're going
to handle that, but hopefully make him as comfortable as possible.

Speaker 6 (01:02:10):
You hate to see that. It's a terrible disease.

Speaker 4 (01:02:13):
And next up is Alex Cooper after a number of
former Boston University women's soccer players are speaking out in
support of that coach at the center of her sexual
harassment allegation, saying their interactions with the staffer were drastically different.
Tamz shared this letter from a rep of BEU women's
soccer alumni signed by ninety nine former athletes, which states

(01:02:35):
while they do not look to quote, diminish, or discredit
anyone's individual experience, they felt it was necessary to share
their own perspectives.

Speaker 6 (01:02:42):
As a united group.

Speaker 4 (01:02:43):
And the letter, the alumni say we categorically never felt
unsafe under Coach Nancy Feldman's leadership, adding we were never
at risk or witnessed to inappropriate behavior or anything that
could be characterized as sexual harassment. The group, featuring alumni
spanning several decades, went on to say that Coach Feldman's
influence didn't end after their collegiate careers, as she has

(01:03:05):
remained an important part of their lives and they will
stand by her. Remember they call her Daddy. Host shared
in her new Hulu documentary that the coach was very
inappropriate with her during her time on the team in
the mid twenty tens. Twenty tens. I don't even know
how to say that. She was very clear though that
she was singled out in that situation. So I'm not
sure how other people saying that they didn't experience the
same thing is relevant at all, but they felt like

(01:03:27):
they needed to say that. And lastly, our iHeartRadio Music
Festival presented by Capitol One, is back September nineteenth and

Speaker 6 (01:03:52):
Like to see our little faces as we sweak.

Speaker 1 (01:03:54):
Yeah, there's a little new thing we're doing. Though. You
can listen and watch at the same time, and don't
do it if you're in a tesla with self full
self driving mode. Don't think it's a fresh show. I
want to be responsible. Do you have what it takes
to battle show biz? Shelley in the show biz? Showjob, showbiz,
show be show bes, good mon, show bes. Kai is

(01:04:17):
your challenger today, Hi Kai Kai?

Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (01:04:21):
Fun fact about you is.

Speaker 6 (01:04:22):
What I cannot do it backslip.

Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
I think that's most people. I mean, he's been trying
to show me how to do one forever. He can

I'm getting the lab.

Speaker 3 (01:07:43):
Peet the show every morning.

Speaker 1 (01:07:44):
Maybe I think that's what we're doing. Yeah, give me
the give me the instrumental. Should we call mister juvenile?

Speaker 18 (01:07:49):

Speaker 1 (01:07:50):

It's not my money on earth going to report us? Hey, friend,
can you do a show with no music, no talking,
no microphone, no Internet, no air conditioned contract. Shelley, Hey,
by the way, for our friends in Norfolk and Chicago.

(01:08:39):
Of course, the original, the original Superstar Middays showed with
Shelley ten o'clock today. Everyone listens. You know what we got.
We got the people trying to go up against you.
Now that won't work. We got people copying.

Speaker 3 (01:08:55):
Your game, they laughed out loud straight No, sorry, no,
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:09:04):
What we shouldn't talk about.

Speaker 1 (01:09:06):
Wow, that was ruthlessly no. But now now we got
some other dummy competitors that have to pay for their ratings.
They are playing the same they're trying to play the
same game. Oh my god. Now I will admit. I
will admit about a decade ago, before you worked here,
we tried it too, and it failed miserably. We tried
to we literally tried to do the exact same game

(01:09:29):
at the exact same time, and it failed miserably. And
then our competitors were stupid enough to fire you. And
I don't think you were even out of the building
before we hired you. And that look what happened. Incredible
here we are. What a success story it really is.
You know, you come over here, you meet your husband,
you get married, you have kids, you know, you're on
the number one show. It's just look at what happened.

Speaker 6 (01:09:50):
Life went up.

Speaker 1 (01:09:51):
It certainly did what it made you upgrade. You gotta
go from you gotta go this way, and you gotta
go this way. You gotta go this way.

Speaker 3 (01:10:02):
No, that wasn't meant at all.

Speaker 1 (01:10:03):
Read me. What I heard was Shelly. I heard sorry,
Shady Shelley. I like Shady. That's that's a new character, unlocked,
the nicest person on earth, Shady Shelley. Though it's there.
And if you ever shell and some tequila is served,
this woman has the mouth of a trucker to which

(01:10:24):
you would never expect, you'd never expect it from. I
was appalled like.

Speaker 6 (01:10:31):
A little dinner this weekend.

Speaker 4 (01:10:33):
I'm so excited because I haven't been out to like
anything and forever. But I don't know because I'm breastfeeding,
so I don't know if I'm a tequila but I let.

Speaker 1 (01:10:40):
You know, girl pumping, pumping Shelley. Shelley after a couple
of shots at the quila is a is an entertaining
is hell loud? Profane? Amazing? Oh yeah, Next Tangent Live,
we do Next Tangent live, that we do our podcast
and we do a live one, because that's what the
tangent live.

Speaker 3 (01:10:59):
Is is we do it like Angel. I was like,
my worst nightmare.

Speaker 1 (01:11:02):
No no, no, no, no no, it's a couple of
you show up. You're part of the next list.

Speaker 3 (01:11:07):
I want to Actually, no.

Speaker 1 (01:11:10):
It's happening. It's happening. It's been decided. Nine to fifties
in price tomorrow, ten fourteen oney fourteen wins and ten
straight wins. Shelley, have a good day, Okay you two?
Wow shady Shelley right there. That was wild. I didn't
think she had a dinner. Oh but she does more.
Fredshaw next. Honestly, this is what the Catholic church. As

(01:11:36):
a Catholic, I can say what we need is a
rebrand and you would be the guy to do it.

Speaker 5 (01:11:40):
Imagine the pink smoke that would come out when I
get like, yeah, Fred's show is off.

Speaker 1 (01:11:45):
I don't think it should have been you, Jason. It
should be if it was going to be an American pope,
it should have been you. Yeah, Leo or me. They
talked to you about I know they talked to you
about it, but you couldn't come to terms, which is
really busy. Yeah, you know, I don't even really know
where Rome is, Like I have to figure out that
that would be helpful to know where that is. Yeah,
probably Europe somewhere. Yeah, probably Europe. Am I right? Oh bo?

(01:12:12):
Hi everyone, Tuesday, June seventeenth, It's the French show. Hi, Kalem, Hi,
Jason just kiving Europe? Hi, Paulina, Hi, Where's what's ozured
by John?

Speaker 7 (01:12:20):
You though?

Speaker 10 (01:12:21):
Oh?

Speaker 20 (01:12:22):
John?

Speaker 2 (01:12:22):
I know John?

Speaker 1 (01:12:23):
Yeah, last night Kiki save me Bellaha means here Emma
from the sales departments here? What are they?

Speaker 16 (01:12:30):
What are they?

Speaker 1 (01:12:32):
What is this about?

Speaker 8 (01:12:34):
Like?

Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
They got salespeople coming and sitting here and watching this,
this this train wreck of a radio show. It's an
absolute abomination. Why why what do they think is going
to happen? Like you're going to see that we talk
into microphones since they hide us in these boxes?

Speaker 20 (01:12:47):
Is that what it is?

Speaker 1 (01:12:47):
Pretty much?

Speaker 18 (01:12:48):
Pretty much they just want us to watch all the magic,
behind the scenes magic.

Speaker 1 (01:12:52):
Yeah, so exciting. Yeah, it's better if you don't see
how the sausage is made. I think it's Are you
impressed so far?

Speaker 19 (01:13:00):
I'm impressed, very impressed. That sounded authentic. No, they got
salespeople coming in here, you know who are like they
sell the commercials. They got them coming in here to
watch us do this, truly, because if you otherwise, this
is like an H and R block, Like you wouldn't
know that we're not like a finance company or something.
If you walked in this office, like there's no there's
no microphone, there's no there's no window to anything.

Speaker 1 (01:13:25):
Lock us in a room with a lock on the
outside of the door, and they let us out when
the show is over, Like, you would never know what
we did here. She could sell anything magazines for all
I know. Have you sold anything else besides radio commercials?
Not really?

Speaker 4 (01:13:42):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:13:42):
Okay, all right, so a lot of experience required. One
I got here, Emma from sales, the newest member of
the show. Do you are there any accounts that you're
working on right now that like, are maybe not responding
to you as well as you'd like that Maybe we
can just call them out right now? Would that be

(01:14:03):
helpful too?

Speaker 6 (01:14:04):
You know, I just touched down here in Chicago.

Speaker 1 (01:14:06):
Okay, man, one that's on my well, you let us know,
you let us know if anyone's giving you a hard time,
because Kaylin knows just how to get their attention. No,
we'll we'll get people to call you back. It won't
they won't always be happy when they call. But when
they call, at least you've got them on the phone.
You can say, well, well I have you you know,
so there, Okay. As a salesperson, what is your response

(01:14:28):
to an objection? So like, if someone says to you, em,
I'm not interested, Like, how do you say, like, how
do you get them to not to be interested in something?
Because I watched these videos on you on TikTok. They're
these guys who specialize in like sales, and they'll tell
you the script to how to get people who told
you they don't want to do what you're saying. It's
so like, how if I if you call me at

(01:14:48):
Fred's car dealership and and I said I don't want it,
then what do you say?

Speaker 7 (01:14:53):
Then?

Speaker 18 (01:14:54):
I like to hit them with some questions, you know,
make them talk their way out of it, put the
take the pressure off me, and then we'll get to
the root of it.

Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
Really not want it? Or are you just really annoyed
with me calling you? Which is fair?

Speaker 18 (01:15:06):
And I think sometimes I just hate to pick up
the phone.

Speaker 1 (01:15:09):
I would listen to this. I would have if you
were like, like, I know you're annoyed with me. I'm
just like that, Yeah, that's the kind of approach. I'm like,
all right, that's non threat. Thanks, I'll listen to you.

Speaker 6 (01:15:18):
I love a question.

Speaker 1 (01:15:20):
But there are all these guys that do Like have
you seen the guy who's like super buff and bold
who does the car dealership sales training.

Speaker 6 (01:15:26):
We have different algorithms.

Speaker 1 (01:15:28):
Yeah, I don't see that. Maybe I shouldn't. I don't know.
I forge ever Thinky's name is. But it's like he's
like really like masculine and aggressive, and he has like
he trains he goes to car dealerships and he trains
salesmen on how to deal with like an answer to
every question, but like it's a script. And it's if
someone laid the script on me in a car dealership,

(01:15:49):
I would know exactly what they were doing. I would
start to get annoyed. But you're like, hey, I'm gonna
get out of it. I'm gonna think about it. Well,
why do you need to think about it? Do you
have all the information that you need to you know,
I've given you all the information. What would be your objection?
Or he has a response to when they say, I
got to go home and ask my wife, and what
if she says no, Like you, it's like a challenge
like he almost he almost like emasculates you. You're like,

(01:16:11):
wait a minute, No, I don't need I don't need permission. No, woman,
I don't need permission. I'll buy this car right now.
Watch me and I'll send you that. Maybe you could
learn something. Well. Welcome. I've ever been laughed from waiting
by the phone. It's the Fred Show, Melanie, Good morning,
Welcome to the Fred Show. Hi guys, So tell us

(01:16:34):
about this guy Chris. We wont all the background, how
you met, about any dates that you've been on, and
why you think you're being ghosted, just to fill us in. Sure.

Speaker 16 (01:16:45):
So I met Chris on Mumble and he clicked out
for drinks. We went on one date and thanks for
doing well. It was you know, it's really fun and
I think we could. So we were getting after a drink.
Cerw on my place and so I'm sorry, I'm kind

(01:17:06):
of nervous.

Speaker 1 (01:17:07):
He wanted to.

Speaker 16 (01:17:09):
Move on my place and so I yes, you know,
he wanted to come up, get one of my place
and hang up for a little bit. Everything was totally
PG and like we just kissed and you know, it
was fun, but that was it, and yeah, I just
I want to see him again. Everything went well, but
I just don't know why he hasn't called.

Speaker 1 (01:17:29):
Okay, Well that all sounds pretty promising. I mean, you know,
when you meet on these apps, you don't really know
if there's chemistry until you see the person in person.
And so that part went well. The drinks went well,
you had a good time, good enough to go back
to your house and you know, hook up a little
bit or I guess kiss, not really hook up, but
nonetheless that's all good, and you were hoping to hear

(01:17:50):
from him again. You were excited.

Speaker 16 (01:17:51):
Yeah, it's really excited. Yeah, I mean all we did
was kiss. It was like, you know, really really pig
and then we got along and I mean more than that,
like I think we clicked. So yeah, I'm just wondering
what happened.

Speaker 1 (01:18:03):
So what happened to this guy? So let's call Chris.
We'll see if we can get him on the phone
and ask some questions for you, and hopefully whatever's going on,
we can straighten it out. Set you guys up on
another day. Yeah, all right, welcome back. Let's call Chris.
You guys met on the dating app Bumble, went out
for drinks, a little kissing after the date back at
your place. But you want to know where this guy
went because he's not reaching out for another day. You

(01:18:24):
fully expected that, and you want to know why that's right?
All right, let's call him right now. Good luck. Hi
is this Chris, Chris, Good morning Fred from the Fred Show.
The whole crew is here, and I'm sorry to bother,
but I do have to tell you that we are

(01:18:45):
on the air right now and I would need your
consent to continue with the call. Can we chat for
a couple of minutes on the show. I'm a little worried,
but yeah, sure I might be too. No, well maybe not,
but let's talk about But it's the thing we do
called waiting by the phone. There's a woman named Melanie
who you met him Bumble and you guys went out

(01:19:06):
for drinks. Yeah, okay, Melanie, Yeah right, So she called
us and told us that she had a great time
with you at drinks and that you guys kissed a
little bit, and she was excited about the potential hope
to hear from you again, and so she hasn't, So
can you kind of fill us in as to why
you haven't reached out?

Speaker 7 (01:19:26):
Les?

Speaker 1 (01:19:27):
Oh man, No, yeah, we had a really fun day.

Speaker 17 (01:19:30):
No, yeah, so yeah, we had a really fun and
normal day like normally go away like like everything was cool, fine,
and we'd made out and that was fun and stuff.

Speaker 10 (01:19:41):
But then and so we get to.

Speaker 1 (01:19:43):
Her place and she puts on some music and like some.

Speaker 17 (01:19:47):
Candles just at the vine, yeah right, and like they
were this is like it's like kind of like silly,
but they were like good candles, you know, Like when
I smelled it, I was.

Speaker 1 (01:19:57):
Like, oh that's a that's like a night like spensive.
That was good as opposed to like those like the
ones that spell like Turkey dinners or whatever. Got the
music guy like this is she's set in the mood.
I don't see what where's the problem.

Speaker 17 (01:20:10):
So then so then she she hooked her phone up
to her smart TV. I think I think it was
to play the music, and a photo slide show came up.
It was something to have TV on the background. I
don't know why she did it, but the photos started
coming up on the TV. Then she went to grab
drinks and I was just chilling out and looking at
the photos of her family, her friends from the places

(01:20:33):
she traveled, all cool, and then like all of a sudden,
like right in a row, it was one, two and
then three back.

Speaker 16 (01:20:42):
To back to bag.

Speaker 17 (01:20:43):
They were all very like completely different. They were repressive
like it was a good like.

Speaker 13 (01:20:47):
I was like, go get it, like, go.

Speaker 1 (01:20:49):
Get your you do this sometimes Now I have a
fear you save them on the same camera roll as
everything else.

Speaker 6 (01:20:53):
I don't really save them.

Speaker 4 (01:20:55):
I said the vibe with like, you know, a nice
little slideshow and now I'm scared.

Speaker 1 (01:21:01):
The power point do you show it deck to people
like what I've had this happened before. I've had this
where like my buddies will pull out their phone to
show me a picture and then it's like a picture
of something else. Let me bring Melanie into this. I
forgot to mention that Melanie is here. I always leave
that part out. What you got to find a safer
place for those man they got to go. They can't
go with the mom and dad trip to Ireland or whatever.

(01:21:22):
You know what I mean. You got to put them
somewhere else.

Speaker 16 (01:21:24):
Yeah, okay, that's a son.

Speaker 1 (01:21:31):
Okay, Well here here's my thing. Why why do you care? Chris?
Like why wouldn't she go on another day with her?
I mean so yeah, so she's been with other guys.
She's either I don't know, receiving or saving or finding
procuring other d picts. So she's got it.

Speaker 17 (01:21:45):
So what I know, it's stupid, but like like there
those those burned into my brain, like kissing her or
like if we were gonna like like go all the
way I have, Like I just be thinking of like
those three.

Speaker 1 (01:22:00):
You know, maybe she's a doctor and those were privileged
and they probably should have been there anyway. Nonetheless, maybe
she's a medical students, she's studying urology. It was yeah,
well good for them.

Speaker 17 (01:22:12):
One of them was like like basically full screen, like
it was just right in my face. It wasn't as big,
but like the lighting was really good.

Speaker 1 (01:22:19):
It was like the first thing.

Speaker 17 (01:22:22):
Yeah literally, And the second one was like here's like
like art like it was like it like it should
be in a museum. Yeah, I'm not insecure, like listen,
like go get it.

Speaker 1 (01:22:32):
Like you know, so look, Chris, you could understand why
she might save these. I mean I can love them.
You seem enamored with these. I mean, I can see
why why, I just I just it's like so in
my head, like I can't tell studying too.

Speaker 17 (01:22:53):
They were on screen for a while, yeah, like that
has a nice TV.

Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
So it was like boom in your head. He could
be he could be action it could be action shots.
I mean, it could be so much worse to yeah,
oh boy, even though you really studied these and you're
not interested in seeing her again because you're not going
to be able to get over. I just can't get over.

Speaker 17 (01:23:13):
I know it's stupid and like dumb, but I just yeah,
they're they're burning to my red nose and it's going.

Speaker 1 (01:23:18):
To go well for that Melanie. They make apps and
stuff where you can hide these pictures, like conceal them
other places so that they don't pop up in the
family travel. Plus I mean, this time it was him,
but imagine if it really was like your parents or
family or somebody coming over and you pull up the old.

Speaker 13 (01:23:38):
Old I feel like, yeah, I think they're really old,
and like whatever they just popped up, I don't know,
you know, I mean the technology and the albums.

Speaker 16 (01:23:50):
And everything technology, they're all together with my regular pictures don't.

Speaker 13 (01:23:56):
I just didn't get that.

Speaker 1 (01:23:58):
All right, Well, hey, they he's not going to I
guess it's not going to work out, Chris. I'm surprised, Chris.
You don't want to see her again so you can
get an out of Look at the shot to all
those guys. Look not bad, Melanie mess it luck to you.
Thank you both for your time. No, of course I'm
a going melody red the luck.

Speaker 16 (01:24:14):
Its like you're doing great.

Speaker 1 (01:24:16):
Cawin's Entertainment report.

Speaker 4 (01:24:17):
He's on the Freadshew Matthew Perry's doctor, Salvador Placentia, has
plaied guilty to four counts of distributing ketamine to the
Friends star, who died of an overdose in October of
twenty twenty three. Salvador acknowledges in the plea agreement that
he repeatedly provided ketamine without a legitimate medical purpose in
the week's leading up to Matthew's death. Matthew, of course,

(01:24:40):
was found dead in his hot tub at his home
in the Pacific Palisades at just fifty four years old,
and Salvador faces a maximum sentence of forty years in
prison if found guilty.

Speaker 6 (01:24:50):
Moving on to Jeff Bezos, the.

Speaker 4 (01:24:53):
Amazon founder if you did not know, if you somehow
live under a rock, and his upcoming wedding to Lauren
Sanchez in Venice It'll where Venetians gathered to protest the
couple's upcoming festivities over fears of disruptions in the city
that's already impacted by mass tourism. So one sign read
no space for bezos. And even though most of the

(01:25:14):
details surrounding the wedding are unknown, one citizen said, we
have our moles as for figuring out if they're having it,
they're One protester who helped organize it said he may
be getting married at a certain venue there, and he says,
bezos will never get to that venue. We will line
the streets with our bodies, block the canals with life savers,
dinghy's and our boats.

Speaker 6 (01:25:35):

Speaker 2 (01:25:39):

Speaker 6 (01:25:39):
Venice is home to which where's you know where Venice

The Yeah, ok, one in Vegas too, But the actual event.

Speaker 4 (01:26:00):
Is is home to about fifty thousand people and they
get like twenty million visitors yearly, mostly day trippers from
cruise ships or other cities. So far, about thirty of
the two hundred and eighty water taxis have been reserved
for the wedding and only three or four hotels will
be used for the event, so they really don't want it.
I good luck getting married there. I'm sure he has

(01:26:22):
his ways, but they said no, no, thank you. And Lastie,
Brad Pitt looks smoking hot with his girlfriend Nez at
the F one movie premiere in New York.

Speaker 6 (01:26:31):
They look really cute. They were laughing, laughing, giggling. They
seem really happy.

Speaker 4 (01:26:37):
Brad plays a fictional F one racer Sonny Hayes in
the movie, but he ditched his racing suit for a
navy blue suit and white button shirt. And she looked
really hot. So she had this like white sea through
thing on. And there were real F one stars there
by the way, and their hot girlfriends as well, and

At one point. Brad Pitt is shirtless a lot. He's
in a shower and he's a love story eighty four
years old. I mean he looks really but that's my type. Yeah,
but there's a love story. There's fast cars.

Speaker 1 (01:27:15):

of Thunder twenty twenty five. Is what this movie sounds

All these guys are like, you know what I mean, Norris,
it's that not Sonny. It's the American. Yeah, there's no
Steve One.

Speaker 4 (01:27:51):

fire soundtrack. So see it if you want to see hot.

Speaker 1 (01:28:41):
Yeah, that's true. So Walter Morrison is the guy's name.
He died and was cremated in twenty ten. His family
turned him into the very toy he invented in nineteen
fifty five. It's known as the Pluto platter before WAMMO
named it to the Frisbee. But yeah, they turned him
into a frisbee. That's like the dude who invented Pringles

(01:29:01):
is buried in a Pringles can that he should be. Yeah,

for your mental health, always have a trip planned, like,
always give yourself something to look forward to.

Speaker 3 (01:31:05):
So now I'm on my journey.

Speaker 9 (01:31:07):
Okay, even if I don't really have the coins, I'm
gonna pretend like I'm going somewhere. I'm gonna plan something
like I'm driving two hours. I'm gonna you always should
have something to look for. And I feel like since
I planned these, well I didn't really plan on, my

now I'm like, I'm so excited about life again, Like
I know I'm going somewhere soon where you're going? Okay,

(01:31:28):
So first we're going to Maui for my sister's birthday.
Well yeah, okay, yeah, she doesn't play by her le
She doesn't play by her birthday. So that's the first trip,
and I thought of my girl. Paulina just came back, right,
so I know she can give me all the tips
and tricks or whatever. So I'm looking forward to that.

(01:31:49):
And then after that, I'm going to Greece in October,
right girl, right?

Speaker 1 (01:31:56):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:31:56):
Because my friend won an all expense paid.

Speaker 1 (01:31:59):
Trip and I was gonna say, I thought you didn't
have the coin. And now we're going to Greece.

Speaker 9 (01:32:03):
You see what I'm doing though, I'm flying to Maui
with my sister on her dime.

Speaker 3 (01:32:08):
And then I'm going to wait.

Speaker 1 (01:32:10):
Wait, she pays for you to go on her birthday trip?

Speaker 3 (01:32:12):

Speaker 9 (01:32:15):
Put it like this, She works out the accommodations and
I pay for the flight. Okay, birthday that's fair, Yeah,
all right, that's not bad. Yeah, and I'll get her
a nice little gift.

Speaker 1 (01:32:24):
But you know, wow, Maui and Greece out there on
the horizons.

Speaker 9 (01:32:27):
And so now I have such a brighter look at life,
Like I bet you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (01:32:33):
Like usually i'm looking forward to like work opportunities. That's
what gets me excited. That's what gets me going.

Speaker 9 (01:32:38):
But you know, Instagram told me that I need to
plan trips, and as a Sagittarius, I want to go.

Speaker 1 (01:32:45):
There is something that the Internet is positively contributing to. Yes, yeah,
and I know you have you keep a trip, you
