Speaker 1 (00:02):
I can't build a song with my mouth, okay, Like
this is like care no, not sure. Fred's Show is
on today morning everyone, Monday, September fifteenth. It's the Fred's Show.
Hi Kaylin, good morning, Hi Jason Brown. Paulina is out today.
Hi Kiki, good morning, Shelby. Shelley will be here next
hour showdown. Two hundred bucks is the prize too. Game
(00:23):
win streak means here on the phone in the text
eight five five five nine one three five, she wasn't
allowing you caffeine today for coffee.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
No, so there we have caffeine, but today we have
to do your bummy.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
I don't know what that is. I don't know, girl,
but would you call me? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
It's some drink that she wants us to drink. So
I'm waiting for the caffeine to.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
Hit the taste like this.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
This is a pomegranate flavored cranberry pomegranate.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
It's all right. So you asked for coffee and we're.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Told no, no, no you okay, So on Friday, because
you usually well me, Paulina Orbella, will you know start
a coffee textine, what do we want? Who's going to
get at YadA YadA, and so on Friday I started,
I don't think it was Paulina out on Friday and
she was like, oh no, I brought us these drinks
that like have caffeine in them, but it's not coffee.
(01:16):
And I was like, I really need coffee today, so let's.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
You know, pivot.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
And then today she wanted us to drink them again,
so I thought, I think she really wants us to
drink these instea.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
The coffee. Oh damn. She hadn't try that with me
because I'm not. I'm not. No, she don't.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
We're not.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
We're not. I'll try anything once or twice. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
coffee is part of my routine. We're not going to
switch it up for sam yarba ya or whatever it called.
I'm not going to put that in there. But urba mate, Yeah, no,
I'm good. It's smark ing plants powered I'm sure it's
very good for you and probably better than you know
(01:52):
what I'm drinking. You know, my heart's probably gonna explode
at some point from the caffeine coffee slash coffee, coffee
slash caffeine and take I don't care. It's part of
my day. I'm doing it's it's one of the best
parts of my day. Actually, maybe the best part. The
first sip of coffee, the first cup of coffee. I
feel like I could do anything. It really hits. And
(02:13):
so I can tell right now you can't do anything.
I can tell no, like you don't feel that way.
I can see it in your face. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
No.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Pauline is usually asking you around a certain time of
the show, do you want to get McDonald's, And I
think it's I'm going to be doing the same.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
I think I need some hot coffee. I love you, Bella.
It's I feel very healthy, but I need the like
the warm coffee. Yeah, we'll make her go down there.
Thanks for you. All right, let me see here. We
got Kiki's Court this morning. But I'm ba girl, what
are you doing here? You forgot your own case? No,
(02:45):
I just wanted to give you a little dramatic pause.
You forgot your O case? Waiting by the phone? Why
does somebody get ghosted? That's coming up of course, some
money with showby Shelley and the Entertainer of Court This Hour,
Blogs and the Headlines, and Jason's NFL Week two recap. Yes, Yes,
what are you working on? K oh No, I'm in
trouble with our boss aka Bella.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
All right, so we're gonna talk about the Emmys. We
are going to talk about why is Taylor Swift behind
a wall? You know, like, get out from behind there?
Speaker 1 (03:15):
And what's going on? Something? I agree with you, guys.
I think she's pregnant. Yeah, oh somebody you guys, it's
one of you. Somebody said she was pregnant. I think
she's pregnant because I don't know why else, why are
we hiding if there's not something to see?
Speaker 5 (03:30):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Yeah, well like about something to see? For sure?
Speaker 6 (03:34):
I didn't know if it was that or something to
have to do with her appearance, whether it be like
a hair dye situation or something like that.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
But yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 7 (03:43):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Get out from behind there? Yeah, because if obviously, if
you don't want someone to see you, then you know,
hiding whatever, whatever sort of production you make to be blocked.
It's fine. But if it were subtle that all the
producuction did, all that big wall contraption thing did was
(04:03):
get people to talk about what is it that we're missing?
What are we not seeing? So you called more attention
to yourself and you eventually have to go out in public.
So whatever it is, like, now everyone's going to be
looking people in your bushes, in the trees, you know,
like drones. No, I'm serious, Like, if it were subtle,
then I would think that you would just go with it.
And then if someone said that looks like a baby
(04:24):
bump or something, you'd say, ah, now whatever. But when
you when you when you bring a collapsing wall with
you everywhere you go and then walk behind it, all
I want to know is what am I missing?
Speaker 6 (04:35):
Yeah, I don't necessarily know if anything she could do
like that would be subtle. We saw what happened when
Cardi B was like, no, this ain't no baby bum.
That didn't go well for her. So I don't necessarily
know if she could have done gotten in and out
of an arena subtly.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
All right, So I mean like if it's at home,
but she's obviously not like eight months pregnant, right, So
Like what I'm saying is if it were I mean
short of like her knows is now in the back
of her head or so, you know what I mean.
I just I figure like you would just just roll
with it. And then deny it. But when I'm when
if I bring a collapsing wall with me and surround
(05:10):
myself with it everywhere I go in a public place,
either I'm asking for either some scheme to get people
to talk about you, which you don't need, or because
they didn't show run TV either, which is obviously something
that was negotiated, because the network's obviously want to show
R on TV. Because my god, all last season it
was like, this's a football game, Taylor Swift is here everyone,
and then they'd go back to the football game briefly,
(05:31):
and then back to Taylor Swift's reaction on everything. And
Travis didn't play very well yesterday, so I figured they'd
be going to her all the time. They didn't, So
this is a this is a big thing. Something's going on. Oh,
I mean something's going on for sure. Okay, you are
half asleep, someone getting some coffee freedom your South African
(05:51):
Tea's not I can see it in your eyes. They're
like they're like glazed over. This isn't working. You know what, Belly,
You don't get to decide what's best for my players. Okay,
my players need performance enhancing drops, right, whatever it is,
if she needs Oh, she's saying, she's correcting me on
how I say this. Drink now, I don't care. You say,
get her some coffee? Okay, my god, show nutritionous now. No,
(06:16):
if they want to eat crappy food and they want
to drink coffee to start the show, that's they're right,
and that's I needed my dead peak performance. Friends, the
biggest stories of the day. You got Jason's picks out? Yes,
here we go, ladies and gentlemen. The results Okayson's Week
two NFL picks, our vice president of sports reporting. Who'd
(06:41):
you have in the Canelo fight? By the way, I
forgot to ask you, uh, Canelo or the other guy?
Speaker 6 (06:49):
I thought Canelo was the location, okay, and that they gone, No,
Las Vegas.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
Was the location.
Speaker 6 (06:56):
Okay, I'm going to Canelo definitely. I mean it's named
after him. Huh right, No, he didn't wait Canela, let
someone named Bud beat him.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
I believe that's the guy's nickname, right, I didn't. I
gotta be honest with you. I didn't watch it. That
doesn't sound right. It doesn't it sound like my Canelo.
I want to say that it was in that Allegiant
stadium and I saw some people like post pictures, they
were in attendance. Unless you're super super crazy rich, you're
not getting aywhere close to the ring. Which what point
do you say, like, I don't need to be here
(07:30):
because I can see it better on TV. Because yeah,
Terrence Crawford is super middleweight champ after convincing when over
Canelo Alvarez. Why don't I think his nickname is Bud?
Someone tell me if I'm right, if I read that
correctly this morning? But no, I mean they were so
far away that the people were not like they did,
tiny little ant looking people. So it's like, you know
you're there. Yeah, I got to say I was. I
(07:51):
was in the building for this, but I mean I
could also be down the street in the bar, and
then I guess you see what's going on or at
home not paying twenty seven dollars for a beer, right right?
I have no idea what it cost to to just
have ant level view. But you know the boxing match,
you know football stadium, that's pretty wild. All right, here
we go, guys. So you had the first game, you
(08:14):
had the Commanders. Okay, well you lost that one. Packers won,
all right, Seahawks over Steelers Begles over Jaguars, Rams over Titans,
four nine, Ers over Saints, Lions over the Bears. My god,
which is good for Calin, Cardinals over the Panthers, Falcons
over the Vikings, Patriots over the Dolphins, Bills over the Jets,
(08:41):
Ravens over the Browns, Cowboys over the Giants at the
last minute, Colts over the Broncos at the last minute,
and Eagles over the Chiefs. And then today we've got Bucks,
Texans and Chargers Raiders two games on Monday night football.
So how are we doing so far?
Speaker 8 (08:58):
I'm trying.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
Did you say the Jet Wars? The Wars lost, Bengals
Bangles over the Jaguars. Oh, okay, so he lost that
one too, So how do we do? So he lost one?
Oh man, oh man, we're gonna bring out the second.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Okay, So so far he's lost eight and he has
shoe games tonight tonight.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
It's gonna be a sweet So how many do you win?
Then one? So I don't know you can do the
math on that. I don't know. It's not good. And
it was the parslay again.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
And then his parslay was Cairo Santos is going to
kick twice? Quote into the polls.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
No, exactly, Trevis Kelsey is going to score. No, no, no,
he definitely didn't score. He did the opposite. He tried
not to score.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Yeah, and then Dak Prescott is not going to spit
on anyone. He did not spite Parsley.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
So here's my here's my challenge from you. You're probably
gonna have to like give us your picks because you're
going to be in Vegas with the Radio Music Festival
this week with your your black combat boots on your
piece and your clip where you're probably gonna have to
give them give us the picks ahead of time for
to read on your behalf. But maybe maybe a little
little fur but we got a little further on the Parsleigh,
Maybe we do a little little research, oh okay, because
(10:20):
I know you know in the past these things have
just come to you, but I might maybe put a
little bit into it. Okay, moving forward, because we're not
really not doing great. Where would one research like football
dot com? Sure we can start their NFL dot com,
ESPN dot com. Okay, I would think there'd be a
lot of different places that you could you can go.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Got it.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
I will dive into that today. Did the Bears lose?
Someone asked, as a matter of fact, they did? Boy
did they? They certainly did? And who they lose to? Kitlin?
They lost to the Detroit Lions. Jason, you did not
pick Oh no, yeah in their honolulublue. Yep, yeah, that
was really bad. Hack Severance Pitt and Seth Rogen one
big at the Emmy Awards last night, and Caitlin I'm
(10:59):
sure has more on that. There's a heat wave which
last week it was really nice. Week before it was
almost like borderline cool, and now we're talking about heat
wave that will stretch from Louisiana to Wisconstant heat records
are being challenged across the central US. Forecast is worn
that in the last week of summer, temperatures could hit
the upper nineties from Louisiana to Wisconsin through Wednesday. The
(11:20):
heat wave will drive temperatures five to fifteen degrees above average,
and some record highs set in the nineteen thirties could fall.
So we're not done.
Speaker 6 (11:27):
We're not done, you guys, I'm screwed because we already
shut down the air conditioner for this year.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
How do you shut down the air You don't really
even like a building. So I don't know. They don't
do those. Maybe they do. I don't know anything about.
Speaker 6 (11:40):
It did then with the dow hickey in the back,
and then you cover it up for the winter and
you like wrap it so that the snow doesn't get
really all up in there.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Also. And I woke up and it was seventy eight
degrees in the house this morning. Do you tell you
that at your house? Absolutely not. Oh my goodness, Oh no,
I'm gonna tell you something. It might blow you out
the way. I don't ever, I said one time last
winter the heat came on once. It's a c year round. Yeah,
I mean it's got to be cold, Like I gotta
(12:10):
be to wear a sweatshirt and pants in my house,
Like you won't do it. And that's not often because
you want to get the sweatshirt the pants, you know,
maybe like you get the bad or something fine, you know,
you know, like like jammy pants kind of things. You know,
I got, I got a house uniform. What kind of
jammy pants do you or like you know, like viory,
(12:30):
you know, like come on, come on, I'm not like
there's not like cowprint on my you know, jammy pants,
which I'm not. I'm not opposed to cowprint on my
Jammy pants. I just don't have any of those problem
with that. Yeah, there's nothing wrong with it. I just
don't have that. No, it definitely did a little more
form fitting. I like to look, you know, slim, even
when I'm just lounging, you know what I mean? Like
(12:51):
I like, I like form fitting. Are you ordering viewery
pants off the TikTok shop? No viory is like a
high Yeah, no viory is not. What's the one the
girls are all?
Speaker 9 (13:00):
I don't know that word, like, oh, you always like
Lululemon or alo or I don't know you're thinking.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
No, I think there. I don't know. I imagine you
and like silk pajamas, Well I do, I don't know,
like like ah, half to robe. Yeah, I got this
picture you walking around Jammy picking the throw on songs. Right,
you know it takes me all week. It's it's a
very very serious process. Yeah, and a monocle.
Speaker 10 (13:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
So guys, I don't want you to be And this
sounds this sounds like it could be something else. You
could give me this story and I could say this
and then find out that you're all playing a joke
on me, but I don't want you to become a
quishing quishing victim, A lot of things come to mind
when I say, it sounds like something not good, and
it's not good, but it sounds like it's something like
(13:54):
kind of dirty, but I guess it's not. The FBI
is sounding the alarm on a new scam, unsolicited packages
containing a mysterious QR code. The agency says that criminals
are now mailing random boxes, sometimes with no sender info,
in hopes that the recipient will scan the included code.
The codes can take you to phishing sites, swap swipe
(14:14):
your personal data, drain your bank account, or quietly install
malware on your phone. The latest trick, also known as
quishing I hope I'm saying that right, is a high
tech twist on the so called brushing scams, where the
only danger was receiving a product and having a fake
review tie to your name. Now the stakes are higher.
The code in your surprise parcel may be the only
thing inside, and is designed to peak your curiosity and
(14:37):
possibly compromise your financial life. Scammers are capitalizing on QR
codes because they're everywhere, and because most people scan first
and then think later. The FBI and security experts offer
up some practical advice. Don't scan codes from unknown packages
or strange flyers, use strong anti virus software, preview QR
linked URLs before opening, limit your digital foot enable two
(15:00):
factor authentication. My favorite thing. I love it. This company
doesn't make you two factor authenticate absolutely everything every day,
multiple times a day or anything like that, and keep
your device update and also report suspicious packages as well.
So don't does sounds bad? Don't get quished? Oh yeah,
(15:22):
A few things come to mind, and I'm not gonna
say what they are, but it's just none of them
are clean, but they are a lot of fun. Krispy
Cream has dropped their fall fare donuts could be ninety
two degrees, but have a Krispy cream. So beginning today,
you can buy one of five flavors, Cotton candy, Cream, Puff,
blue Ribbon, apple Pie, and Caramel churro. Reading a story,
(15:44):
my teeth hurt Like this sounds so sugary sweet that
I think it would hurt to eat. The treats are
available for pickup and delivery through Krispy Creme's app and website,
and of course in their stores. And a guy named
Casper Lincoln was arrested Prince George, British Columbia for driving
a child sized pink Barbie jeep down a busy street
(16:04):
while allegedly under the influence. I need to hear the
whole story. He was also driving with a suspended license
in charge with prohibited driving. He says he was going
to meet a friend and get a slurpee for him.
Speaker 11 (16:16):
Man.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
Yeah, he wasn't driving. He wasn't suposed to be driving,
and he wasn't well he was. It turns out you
can't drive a pink Barbie jeep, those things called barely.
You can get a Do you want a bike?
Speaker 11 (16:26):
You know that.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
I've heard rumblingsbling, you've heard these rumors.
Speaker 1 (16:32):
I've heard rumblings. Rather you be on a bike. Yeah.
Lincoln said he was goin to mad a friend to
get a slurbey because obviously I would hop into pink
Barbie jeep to go meet my friend to get a slurpee.
Because he felt lazy, he chose to drive the toy
car instead of walking. He claimed that he didn't know
it was illegal, saying he used hand signals and everything,
and he acted like he believed that he was following
(16:53):
the law for his mind, my Barbie jeep. I mean
he just wanted a slurpee.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Yeah, I don't. I don't get it could have been
so much worse. It's that's another thing that hurts my
teeth though, Like you know, in college or something, Gil Slurpy, Hell, yeah,
you don't drink him now. I feel like if I did,
I get brain freeze slash, my molders would hurt.
Speaker 11 (17:14):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Yeah. No, I'm I'm like, once a week, do you really? Yes,
you have it once a week? Slurpece, Yes, it's my medicine. Wow,
did you get it? Coca Cola one? Yeah, I'm surprised.
I'm surprised Bella allows you to have that. I don't
think that's good for you. I think they just pour
(17:37):
sugar and then ice on top of the sugar and
then that's it. That's what you're consuming. But hey, good
for you though. It's National Learning Online Day, National Neonatal
Nurses Day, and National Tackle Kids Cancer Days. Entertainment report
is on The Fresh Show.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Actor Seth Rogan was one of the big winners at
the Emmys last night.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
Did any of you guys watch it?
Speaker 12 (18:00):
No?
Speaker 11 (18:01):
I did not.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
The Emmys can be a tough one to watch. Skimmed
it quickly, Gluble dabbled beyond to something else. Yeah, you've
probably seen a lot of the stuff.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
But he took home Best Actor in a Comedy as
well as the trophies for Best Directing and Writing for
a Comedy for The Studio, which was also deemed Best
Comedy Series. Jean Smart once again earned the honor for
Best Actress in a Comedy for a Hack. Severn co
stars Shamuelle Tillman and Britt Lower won the awards for
Best Supporting Actor and Best Actress in a Drama. Traders
(18:31):
was named the Best Reality Competition Show. That's the one
that Travis Kelce's mom is on.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
She's going on. I don't know if they're filming right now.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
Last Week with John Oliver one for Best Scripted and
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert one for.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
Best Talk Series. So there you go.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
If you saw those stories Friday that Taylor Swift would
absolutely be deposed in the Justin Baldoni Blake Lively trial,
once again it is not true.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
They couldn't get it done.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
So a judge actually ruled Taylor Swift cannot be deposed
by Baldoni's legal team, and this one's completely on them.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
They're his team.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
Justin's failed to meet the deadline for requesting a deposition.
Speaker 1 (19:11):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
She had initially agreed to participate scheduled between October twentieth
and the twenty fifth, and they fumbled the bag so
she will not be deposed, which is wild. I think
that that was their like smoking gun, and then they
missed the deadline. Speaking of Taylor Swift, she caused all
kinds of a stir at Arrowhead Stadium after sneaking in.
That's an air quote to Travis Kelce and the Chiefs
(19:35):
first home game of the season behind a giant screen.
If you're a tailor fan that you're used to it.
You've seen her in boxes suitcases, but usually when she's
at these games she is in her heels and all
her tallness in her little outfit.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
But she was not even seen in the private suite
during the game.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
They didn't show her at all against the Eagles, So
people are wondering.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
I know some people said pregnancy, some people are saying disappearance.
In general. I can't think of any other reasons why
you would have to be somewhere or how about and
is it possible that you just don't go to the game,
Like if you're gonna have to go through all that
and then you're gonna have to sit somewhere where your
view is obviously like restricted, probably because you, yeah, because
(20:19):
you don't want the cameras to be able to get
to you or people to see what you're up to.
Then maybe you stay at home. I mean, I think
it all depends on the reason.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
You know, I don't know what she's hiding specifically, and
also maybe it was more important to support Travis.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
I guess there be there for her. Man, my man,
my man, man. I mean not if I got like
the biggest hit of all time, and I got the
biggest hit of all times, you bring the wall out
for that, I mean, to get in the collapsing wall
in my you know, in my glaand squad and my people,
or I'm just staying at home.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
I mean I would they should build her some sort
of like access sure, yeah, like a tunnel, like a
private Yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
I'm actually surprised that they haven't. You know, there's a
full lot of house inside her Owhead Stadium. We talked
about this before. There's a full on condo inside of
there that the owner is put in there, like with
bedrooms and a kitchen and like a living she was
maybe she was hanging out in the in the thing,
maybe in the in the condo casita. Yes, yes, the
(21:16):
chiefs casita with the holl is she hiding girl.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
By the way, if you missed any part of our show,
just type the French Show on demand and if you could, please,
it really helps set us as a preset On the
free iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
Vanessa says on the text that Taylor Swift was getting
death threats, so they heightened security. I thought it. My
second thought was like a security thing. But then again
I'm like, this is wonderful that you went. But at
some point I'd be like, it's okay, you can watch
it on TV, like you don't need to go to this.
So there was the fight over the weekend, the Canelo
Crawford fight. I know you were watching, You're you're big
(21:50):
into it and YouTube start mister Beast in order to
promote the fight. Well standing next to Mike Tyson, who
had gloves on, said I'll take a punch from you.
Mister beasaid he would take a punch from Mike Tyson. Now, look,
I've met Mike Tyson and he was very nice to me.
He was nice to us when he was in here
on our show, and then he left and he was
about five minutes later very not nice in the next
(22:13):
show that he was on anything and then goes with
this guy. All right, he's Mike Tyson. So I'm not
asking him to punch me in any way because I
feel like he's not he's not going along with it.
You know, he's not gonna go aha and then kind
of just hit you a little bit. Then you can
pretend like it was hard. I mean he hit him
in the gut hard, Like Mike.
Speaker 13 (22:33):
Tyson is about to punch me because thanks to Rion
season Canellan Crawford's about to happen. Is it literally starts
within an hour. So after this you need to go
watch it and raise awareness. I'm gonna take a punch
for Mike Tyson whatever you're ready, Yes, Netflix said.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
He like doubled over. I'm like, of all the people,
I'm not, I'm not like. I don't think he's really
I don't think Mike really understands the bit, you know,
because he had like real gloves on and stuff, and
it's like, I mean no, like of all the celebrities,
like we're just not. I don't know, I don't think
he's really no. Yeah right right, I'm just I'm not,
you know, Hey, Mike, like just kind of don't hit
(23:16):
him that hard and like it's for TV and we'll
give you some money, okay, and then hits him.
Speaker 10 (23:22):
Man.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Morality Monday on a Monday. How about it, you guys?
Speaker 5 (23:24):
Ready?
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Yeah, morality Monday on a Monday. So a married man
recently sparks debate after turning to Reddit with the dilemma.
He says always been upfront with his wife. He doesn't
buy into this bro code thing suggests that men should
keep secrets from each other. So one day, his longtime
friend of twenty five years approached him with a private
confession in mind. But the man immediately made his stance clear.
(23:47):
If it's shared with him, it's also shared with his wife.
That honestly didn't sit well with his friend or their
mutual circle. The friend felt betrayed, rallied others, and now
most of their shared friends are side against the guy.
Now it doesn't it doesn't say here what the secret was.
(24:07):
And again this is this is someone who paraphrased that
the Reddit post, or if he told him that ahead
of time or after the fact, like, Hey, thanks for
telling me that you're cheating on your wife. I'm going
to tell my wife just so you know, I'd like
to believe that. If if that's your deal, then it's like, hey, man,
I got to tell you something that you'd be like, hey,
just so you know, Like my wife is considered part
(24:30):
of me now, and so if you tell me, I'm
going to tell her, so just be aware of that before.
Let's just assume that's what it was that he did
give his friend the heads up? Is that fair? And
in your relationship? Is that what you assume? I want
to know from you guys? Of course you can call
him text eight five five five nine one three five.
If I tell you guys something, and we're friends and
(24:50):
I know all of your partners, but except for Big Tim,
I've never met the guy, but I know all of
your partners. So if if I tell you guys something,
should I just assume that it's going to your partner?
Is that fair to us? Or do I have to
tell you I don't want you to tell that person,
Like are my friends telling their wives everything I tell them.
It depends on what you tell me.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
If it's like something health related or something you're going
through like mental health, physical health.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
And I'm not repeating that that's not for me to share, Okay,
But if I'm cheating on someone, You're gonna run home
and tel shame. That's hot tea. Yes, yeah, I mean.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
Probably yeah, I mean because you're messing up already, So
why do I have to keep that secret?
Speaker 11 (25:30):
Right?
Speaker 1 (25:30):
I probably don't want you to cheat? See, but this
comes back to like for me, when you get in
a fight with your partner and then you go tell
your friend. You know, most people are telling their side
of the story. Most people are not telling an objective perspective.
Most people want their friend to side with them. Most
of your friends will side with you. Sometimes maybe if
you tell them the actual story, they might point out
(25:51):
something that you could have done differently. But then the
problem is you you know, an hour or two, or
a day or a week later, you make up with
that person or it's over, and then your friend and
holds onto the memory of the last story you told them,
and that could potentially affect the way they look at
your partner, and so I feel the same way about
you know, like I've had a friend who's going through
kind of a tough thing and he's a family friend
(26:12):
and we know all parties involved, and so I'm not
sharing with like my mom and dad the full extent
of what I know, because what happens if everything is
resolved and then it's like they don't they're not getting
constant updates, they're not fully immersed in this situation. And
then let's just say, are they just supposed to forget
because they they probably favor one side more than the other.
(26:34):
And if they're only getting information from one side, and
this is a family friend who's gonna come around and
blah blah blah, then you know, it's unfair because to
the other person because they're only getting one side of
the story. So like, I don't want my family to
think differently about anybody because they are only getting some information, right,
So I don't really share anywhere near as much as
I know because I don't want this person to be
(26:55):
in that situation. And I feel like that's what happens
when you share a story secondhand, was someone else in
your life, you know what I mean, It's like what
you're saying, you're giving them the information and then you're
trusting them to forget and move on. But they may
hold on to that and then have bad feelings about
someone forever. Like let's say, okay, let's say my I'm
(27:15):
in a relationship, which that in itself would be hysterical
to me, right, that would be why and Jason's cheating
on Mike, which would never happen, And I tell her that,
and then and then, but there's more of the story,
or there's a whole lot more context, or I've known
you for fifteen years, so I know that the relationship
can be up and down or whatever. I'm just making
all this up and then you guys resolve it. But
(27:37):
my friend over here doesn't have my girlfriend hypothetical, doesn't
have all that context, doesn't know the ins and outs,
doesn't see you every day, so all she knows is
you cheated and now you're back in a relationship again,
Like that might affect the way she thinks about you,
And that's not fair to you. No, no, it's not.
Speaker 6 (27:51):
And that's why I'm very selective of what I tell Mike,
because I can't hold the grudge, like to save my life,
Like anyone can do whatever to me, I get mad,
I get over it, whatever.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
I get mad at you for that. Like Jason hold
a grudge. He is the complete opposite.
Speaker 6 (28:06):
Like if I tell him anything negative or someone did
something especially to me or to someone that he cares about,
he will hold on to that and remember that for forever.
And so I'm like, okay, like we're good. I have
to be very selective.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
I'm gonna share.
Speaker 10 (28:20):
Hey Sam, good morning, Hi Sam.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
So you tell your husband everything, no matter.
Speaker 14 (28:25):
What, one hundred percent yes?
Speaker 1 (28:28):
Is that fair?
Speaker 14 (28:30):
You know to me, Like my partner is my partner
through thick and thin, and I tell him everything, and
even if he doesn't agree with me, like that's why
he's there. So we can kind of be soundboards off
of each other, and so, you know, it kind of
keeps me balanced. But at the same time, like I
like sometimes I want advice or sometimes I.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
You know, we just want to talk about stuff.
Speaker 14 (28:53):
So it's one hundred percent like I trust him, he
trusts me. And if we say don't tell anybody else
and we don't.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
And then that's it. I get that, like when you're
in a relationship that you're kind of supposed to be
one unit, and so you should be able to bounce
anything off of that person. I guess, Emily detected you're
losing me. I guess all I'm saying is, if there's
one person and one person and you're sharing this information
with other people and they're not seeing all perspectives, that
I don't think it's fair for you to be sharing
(29:21):
information because they're only going to sort of side with
the side that you're telling them. You know what I mean, Like,
unless I have all the information that I don't think
I should be sharing because I don't want you to
hold on to long term, you know things, because I
only told you a little bit. You know what I'm saying,
absolutely changing that you're tainting that you're peeing in the water.
(29:42):
You're peeing in the pool.
Speaker 14 (29:44):
Everybody peas in the pool, Fred, Come on, whether you
say it or not, everybody peas.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
In the pool, all right, Sam will, he's gonna say,
he will.
Speaker 12 (29:51):
Three sides to the story.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
A large body of water maybe, but not a pool.
Thank you, Sam, have a good day. And I'm thoughtful
enough to go down stream when I do it too.
For the record, Yeah, very thoughtful. M Kelsey Hi Kelsey, Hi, Hi, Hi,
how are you?
Speaker 4 (30:06):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (30:06):
So what do you think this? Do you think that
you should tell your partner absolutely everything that you learn
about other people? I'm not sure whether.
Speaker 12 (30:16):
You should or not.
Speaker 15 (30:17):
I mean, I think that's something personal.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
The only real thing that I had to say.
Speaker 12 (30:22):
Feel like, if you.
Speaker 7 (30:23):
Hear something about someone and it's not something that someone
told you directly, then that can cause major issues. I
think that anything that you hear that you want to
share with just about anybody, you should probably validate before
you start sharing it, because a lot of people get
into arguments with people or something like that, and then
(30:45):
they start making up stuff and then once your partner
hears that, it's like, oh what, Yeah, you know, I
just think it's really especially as far.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
As cheating and stuff goes.
Speaker 7 (30:53):
They think that it's really important to, you know, verify
the information before you start telling anyone.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
Yeah, you have to keep your your circle really small
when it comes to relationship arguments and stuff because again,
like you're you're likely to be telling your side of
the story, and the person's likely to react in favor
of the story you just told them. Not only because
they love you, They're going to try and see the
good in you, but they're going to listen to the
story you just told that probably is devoid of all
(31:19):
the details about it. And so then you're getting that
now you're being enabled by this advice. But then the
real story is maybe somewhere more towards the middle. So
then you then you find resolution, you get back with
that person, and now your friend is over here going
I can't believe you took that jacka back, but they
didn't know the whole story.
Speaker 12 (31:37):
Yeah, I can fulley agree.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
I've always said that.
Speaker 7 (31:40):
There's your story, and then there's the other person's story,
and then somewhere in between is the truth. And I
don't think that you ever because emotions are involved in
regardless of what you're telling someone basically all the time.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
So there's always and you know what, I don't.
Speaker 7 (31:55):
Hang out at somebody else's house. You know, I don't
know their relationship, and as I shouldn't, so, especially like
you're saying, with relationships as things like that, it's really
important to understand that exactly what you said, there are
there's de'tly.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Three sides of the story.
Speaker 7 (32:11):
There's one person's side, the other person's side, and then
there's the truth. And sometimes, you know, I think most
of the time, you don't need to know the truth.
I don't need to be that intimate with people in
their personal relationships because I'm kind of in the situation
with my daughter because her, her, and get along.
Speaker 15 (32:29):
I get along with both of them, obviously obviously her.
Speaker 7 (32:32):
But you know, the thing about it is is I
don't really think that maybe their relationship is super.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
Great for her.
Speaker 7 (32:40):
However, you know, I'm not in their house after dark her.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
Cacause that's the problem. Right. So like your daughter comes
and tells you, Hey, you know, so and so did
this to me, and you're like, wow, that sucks. And
then they go get married and you're like, wait a minute,
but I thought he did this to you, you know.
But again, like how did that start? What are the details?
I need to know all the infra? And you you
hold onto this as their mother, right, even though you
should be a trusted source. But but now you have
(33:04):
to hang on to that as they move forward and
they get over it, and you may not. Hey, Kelsey,
I got to go have a good day. Okay, have
a good day. I'm glad you called. Hey, Rachel. Right,
you tell your husband everything, no.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
Matter what always he tells me everything. I tell him
everything most of the time. It's like they said before,
to get you know.
Speaker 12 (33:22):
An opinion of Hey am I handling this writer?
Speaker 10 (33:25):
Hey?
Speaker 12 (33:25):
What do you think about this? I had a friend
tell him that the best thing he did for his
marriage was to cheat on his wife. So of course
he of course he told me that.
Speaker 4 (33:34):
And you know, did they be friends after that?
Speaker 5 (33:38):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (33:38):
But was there you know, certain things we might not
do with him or stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Yes, And that's what I mean. So okay, So, so
your husband's friend cheats on his wife right and tells
you this, You're like, wow, okay, why don't I like cheating?
And that makes me think differently in him? But okay, fine,
whatever he did it. And then your husband's like, hey,
I'm gonna go out with so and so tonight. Is
there no part of you that's like, I realize you
trust your husband, but like this guy, this guy, this
(34:06):
dude has you know, loose definition of what a marriage is.
And I don't know. But and while my husband is
trustworthy and a good person, like I don't know, I
don't necessarily want to hang it out with that person.
That being said, if you trust your husband, and you
know that he wouldn't cheat on you, and he never
gives you this information, then you have no reason to
suspect anything. So everyone's fine.
Speaker 4 (34:28):
So the way my husband is though he also, you know,
didn't appreciate the comment. So if we hung out it
was mostly as like.
Speaker 12 (34:35):
Couples instead of just one on one.
Speaker 4 (34:38):
It was okay, let's so they you know, they stay together.
Speaker 12 (34:41):
So let's go you and me and we'll go to dinner.
Speaker 10 (34:44):
That's so comfortable.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
Now now you're at the dinner. Now you're sitting there
eating your soup, and you know all the details that
you didn't need to know because they've moved forward. And
if he hadn't told you, then you wouldn't have to
suffer through that meal knowing that this dude was out
here with Floozy. And that's I don't know, Rachel, I'm
not sure about this. Thank you have a good day.
I don't know. I don't know that you need to
(35:05):
know everything. You tell big tim everything A big tim
listening to me. That's why I gotta talk to you all.
Speaker 16 (35:12):
But I always think that people tell you tell your
friends something, they're telling two people that they trust. So
when I tell you something. I expect you to tell
Mama Fred and your therapist.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
You know what I'm saying. I just know what's going
to them too.
Speaker 5 (35:25):
You know.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
You think I'm over here an executive coach and talking
about you. Yes, I go to my executive coach each week.
You think I'm talking about you.
Speaker 16 (35:33):
Jason's gonna tell Caitlin and probably know you know what.
I'm like, I bet that to happen.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Well, maybe, I mean it's probably fair to assume, but yeah,
there's always a kiky secment in his executive coach. We
sit down an executive coach. Did you sit down in
the first like?
Speaker 12 (35:52):
What what does she do?
Speaker 1 (35:53):
What does she tell you? Week? The first fifteen minutes
we have to dissect.
Speaker 17 (35:56):
What do you do?
Speaker 18 (35:57):
More?
Speaker 1 (35:57):
Breadshell?
Speaker 3 (35:58):
Next?
Speaker 1 (35:59):

so we're doing it live. It's going to be at
Avenue nine one two in Griffith, Indiana. I've always dreamed
of playing a show in Griffith, Indiana. Yes, they're getting
(36:57):
They're really they're getting more and more PRIs, aren't they.
Where did we start? Where was the first one? Bourbon Street?
And then and then Joe's Rosemond That was kind of
a big one. Oh no, I do whatever happened to
the Woo Woo lady and her husband? Yeah, no, I
we didn't do that.
Speaker 10 (37:18):
We did.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
Yeah, there was a there was a woman and her
husband that were interested in some shenanigans and I never
heard from them again. So anyway, but this is the
kind of stuff that happens at the Tangent Life. So
November seventh, it's a Friday, Eddie V is going to
be mixing. There's a performance by Stars sixty nine Hello,
which I believe is in reference to what is that
blocking your number?
Speaker 15 (37:38):
Is that what?
Speaker 17 (37:38):
Start?
Speaker 1 (37:38):
Sixteen? Hoband yeah wait wow way back in the day.
But you have to reserve your spot and the tickets
will sell out because you guys are amazing. I don't
know where all these people come from because we only
have thirteen listeners, but Fred Show Radio on Instagram and
one of three five Kiss FM. Is it up? Is
it going?
Speaker 8 (37:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (37:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (37:57):

Chicago lands, the quadrants, right, so just know that you know,
(38:18):
if this isn't close to you, we'll be somewhere close
to you soon. But let's still travel for this. Yes,
you should you should there's lovely hotels and Griffin. I
don't want to hear it, like, oh, it's nowhere near me. Look,
I don't know the last one was near you. You
still didn't come, so I don't want to hear it. Please,
How do you lie to your kids?
Speaker 7 (38:35):
I need to tell them that they if they were
really bad, I would rip up their birth certificate and
they will have ceased to exist.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Fred's show is on. That's Sadness Aggressor.
Speaker 11 (38:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
Monday, September fifteenth, Good morning, it's the Frend Show. Hi Kaitlin,
good morning, Hi Jason Brown, Hi Kiki, good morning? What
is now today? Bella?
Speaker 11 (38:59):
I mean?
Speaker 1 (38:59):
Is here? She'll be Shelley two hundred bucks in the
showdown in about twenty minutes. You can take her on
five pop culture questions Snapper two game win streak, can
her loss over seventy two and gets you owe money?
Waiting by the Phone is new? And next why does
somebody get ghosted? And the Entertainment Report this hour?
Speaker 3 (39:16):
What do you have?
Speaker 1 (39:16):
K This is juicy?
Speaker 2 (39:17):
So two country singers get in a big old fight. Kiki,
I don't know if you saw one of the teen
Moms starts and Rowayne allegedly and also Mariah Carey is
performing in a very very cool place that involves one
of the most beautiful places nature wise, I would say.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
In the world. Wow, yeah, okay, I'll stick around for
that and commercial free the next forty minutes. You don't
have to go anywhere. We tell them nuch. Yeah, they
talk better than they ty tell me. These are the
radio blogs on the Fred Show, like we're writing in
our diaries, except we stayed them aloud. We call them blogs.
Kiki yeah yeah, go all right, dear blog.
Speaker 16 (39:56):
Over the weekend, I tried to do less dilly dallying
and more planning. Okay, so I was trying to get
my wedding planning bag. Didn't really go anywhere, but during
the process, we were getting ready to go out to
date night with my favorite couple, which is my brother
and sister in law, and I overhear big Tim. Now,
(40:17):
he hasn't mentioned anything about wedding planning. He doesn't even
know who his groomsmen are going to be. But for
some reason he and my brother decided that they needed
to discuss plans for their bachelor parties. Okay, okay, excuse
me like you had. We don't have a venue, we
don't have a date, we don't I don't have a dress.
But you're worried about a bachelor party, and like he
(40:38):
has solid plans, Like he's like, yeah, so we're going
to go to Mexico and right, and they're like, you know,
because I thought our plan was always to have a
joint party, bachelor and bachelorettes together.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
I can watch him, he can watch me. But I
don't like that idea. I don't like that idea, but
he doesn't either. Let's a man have his thing, You
go have your thing. You guys travel together all the time, Yes,
we do. I mean, just let them have their little,
you know, male bonding thing.
Speaker 3 (41:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
I don't know if we need that.
Speaker 16 (41:13):
I don't know if we need that, And I definitely
don't think that should be your focus at this point.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
Well yeah, I agree with that. Yeah. So now I'm
sad eyeing some things. But he probably figures that he's
not gonna have any saying this anyway, so he may
as well plan on the thing that he has some
control over, because this day is gonna be all what
you want as well. It should be, Yes, yes.
Speaker 16 (41:33):
It should be and I don't know if he's gonna
have control over this thing, because now I'm just like,
why do we need this?
Speaker 1 (41:38):
We going to be eight years in a game?
Speaker 16 (41:40):
Why do we really need bachelor You don't need to
go off with your homeboys and do all this, Kaitlin.
Speaker 1 (41:47):
And he's like, it's not for me, it's for my friends.
Like my friends up, Okay, now gets one bachelor party.
I can see a world where I would have a
bachelor party at this stage in my life, only because
it's so hard to get all my friends together at
once to go do something like that. You sound like him,
that's not because like if I because now we kind
(42:09):
of have like not I don't have a lot of money.
I have grown up money, though now my friends have
grown up money. So we go do something fun and
it's not even about like strip clubs and whatever, like
it would have been getting hammered twenty years ago. It
would be like because because these guys, I went to
all their bachelor parties, so they can go to their
wives and be like, hey, in three months or six
months or whatever, we're going to friend's bachelor party. We're
going to wherever we're going. And so that would be
(42:31):
a way to get everyone together. I don't see it
as the last hurrah or whatever, because there's nothing that
we're ever going to do on this thing that I
haven't already done with these people. So it's not like that.
It's just but I don't need to go on a
trip with the person I'm married. That's just another trip
with the person I'm marrying. Like, let me have my
little thing with my buddies, you know, especially because as
people get married and have kids and families, it's very
(42:54):
difficult to get the time and the allocation of the
time to break off and do something like that. Do
he invite you already? Because you sound just like him.
We practiced this. We practiced the speech. I told him
I am his PR director, communication director. We went through
the talking points. You sound like him. He's like, it's
(43:15):
not about me. Big Tim and I had a video
call last week. We went through everything we practiced. Right,
it is about him, but it's also about grown ups
hanging out and getting together, and it's hard to do
unless there's an occasion.
Speaker 16 (43:27):
Well, why do you need to hang out with the
midnight ballerinas? Can't you hang I thought we were going
this vacation. I said, Okay, the guys just break off,
go jet ski, go a TV rody Like.
Speaker 1 (43:38):
He's openly talking about going to strip clubs and we
need to find out which club we're gonna go. We're
gonna hit up.
Speaker 16 (43:44):
And then so me and my sister in law like
exkills us. And then my brother's like, well, I'm not
gonna you know, I mean, I don't even like strippers.
He's like, I'm just gonna be in there. I'm gonna talk.
I'm gonna just be talking.
Speaker 1 (43:57):
At his hands in the air. When he was telling
this story, you want to go. Yeah, and Timothy, He's like,
it's just not about me. It's like, if I'm going
to have my groomsmen do this, I may deserve, but
it's serious.
Speaker 11 (44:11):
And I'm like, so.
Speaker 1 (44:12):
Please selfless of I love it. You're a good one. Yeah, Honestly,
he's thinking about other people first, he really is. I
love that for him. Man, we don't even know what
the menu is going to be at this thing, and
you are playing a bachelor. I'm just sounds like it's playing. Yeah,
sounds like a lot of let's going into this already. Actually,
I already got the invitation. He ordered them from exit.
(44:34):
It was wild. It's like a paper invitation. I'm like
to he's so fans. I believe it. I believe that.
I just I don't get the joint I mean, I
get it, but I'm like, we're gonna spend our whole
lives together, and I feel like if i'd be really transparent,
the joint parties are for exactly what you said. And
(44:54):
you you're gonna say you're being facetious, but you're not.
It's because you want there to be. So I'm oversight
of what happens on this thing. But you are marrying
this man. What overside? You're married and the guy.
Speaker 16 (45:07):
He gonna do that, well, I'll tell you what. He
can have his bachelor party if Jason goes. And I
expect to be on FaceTime the entire time.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
This Salida, Oh no, not me, the nark with on
the straight eyes.
Speaker 17 (45:19):
For me.
Speaker 1 (45:22):
Someone texted. But Big Tim is single until he gets married.
Speaker 12 (45:26):
You know.
Speaker 3 (45:28):
You've never been.
Speaker 1 (45:29):
Left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show. Hey time,
good morning, welcome to the program. How are you.
Speaker 12 (45:36):
I'm doing all right.
Speaker 2 (45:37):
How about you?
Speaker 1 (45:38):
I'm doing okay as well. But we want to help
you out with this woman, Julie on waiting by the phone,
you think maybe you've been ghosted. So we got to
kind of know everything. How did you guys meet? I
want to hear about any dates that you've been on,
and then where things are now.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
We met.
Speaker 15 (45:51):
We actually met in church, and I thought it was
really nice and we talked for a bit. I got
her number and we were texting back and forth for
a bit and it seemed like she was really into me.
You know, she like really flirty, flirty flirty, because.
Speaker 1 (46:09):
I gotta tell I mean, a church slurty is a
different kind of flirty, Like you know what I mean, Like,
you know, we're being flirty at church. We are we
are flirty, you know. Wow? Yeah, okay, So so she
wanted to go out with you. You were gaming the
vibe and so you asked her out.
Speaker 15 (46:27):
Yeah, I asked her she worked at brunch and she
said yeah, and uh, I don't know, like when we
were on that brunch stage, she was a little shyer
then that she was over the text. But I thought
maybe that's just normal for like a first date.
Speaker 1 (46:44):
Uh. I do like her and I want to see
her again.
Speaker 10 (46:47):
But ever since that day.
Speaker 15 (46:49):
She hasn't responded back to me and hasn't even been
back to church, Like, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (46:54):
What's going on. Oh wow, she lost her religion over this.
She had to go to a different parish now over there?
Ye wow. Okay, So you go from really flirting a
church to brunch to you don't hear from this woman again.
You don't even see her again, and I can appreciate
that you'd like to know why. Yeah, exactly, all right, Well,
(47:15):
let me call Julian just a second. You'll be on
the phone, get to play a song, come back, we'll
do it. I don't want you to say anything right
at first, but I will chat for a little bit.
You're welcome to jump in at some point, and hopefully
we can figure out where she's been and straighten everything
out and set you guys up on another date and
we'll pay for it. All right, Tom, I was called Julie.
You guys met a church and you asked her to
(47:36):
go to brunch. You did that, you felt like that
went pretty well, But you have not heard from her
since the brunch date. You haven't even seen her at
church since then, and you want to know why. Okay,
let's call her now. Good luck, Thank you. Hi is
this Julie.
Speaker 8 (47:56):
This is Julie.
Speaker 1 (47:56):
Hey, Julie, good morning. My name is Fredam calling from
the Fred's Show, the Morning radio Show, and I have
to tell you that you are on the radio right
now and I would need your permission to continue with
this call. Can we chat for just a second on
the on the show?
Speaker 8 (48:11):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (48:12):
Sure?
Speaker 1 (48:12):
Yeah, I know, I know it's weird to get a
call like this, kind of startling, and I appreciate that.
But we're calling on behalf of a guy named Tom.
I guess you guys met at church and you had
a little little brunch recently. Do you remember this man?
Speaker 3 (48:24):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (48:26):
Yeah, of course.
Speaker 1 (48:27):
Okay, So what happened with him? Because we just talked
to him and he said that you guys met and
vibe that he felt like you were pretty flirty with
him his words, and then you went out to brunch
and then he hasn't heard from you or seen you
since then. You haven't gone to church neither. So what happened?
Like kind of what's your side of the story?
Speaker 8 (48:45):
I really, I really, I'm sorry. I really don't feel
comfortable talking about this, especially on the radio.
Speaker 1 (48:52):
Well, I don't want you to feel uncomfortable, and you're
welcome to hang up anytime. I'm not gonna pry. But
you know, he called us, and so he knows whatever happened.
He I guess he was on the date too, but
he's confused. He doesn't know why you won't call him.
So we would love to be able to tell him why.
I just don't know if it's appropriate to say, well,
why don't you tell us, and then we'll decide if
(49:13):
it's appropriated. I would love to be the judge of
appropriateness on this.
Speaker 18 (49:18):
Okay, thank you, all right, this is awkward, but yeah,
so we went on the date, but he tom had
hickeys all over his neck.
Speaker 1 (49:30):
Oh okay, all right, So okay, So so shirts unbuttoned
a little bit. You know, we got exposed neck and
we had lots of hickeys. We're sure that's what it was.
Not kind of maybe like a razor burn situation. Yeah,
maybe the man was allergic to poison ivy or something.
I don't know if he was recently camping. I mean,
is there for sure? Are were certain they were hickeys?
Speaker 8 (49:51):
I am one hundred percent certain. And it was like
I had just seen him at church too.
Speaker 19 (49:57):
And he didn't have them then, so me, like that
is completely gross, and I just felt really uncomfortable and
I didn't want to I didn't want to be on
the date honestly, and I don't really want to see
him again.
Speaker 8 (50:11):
And like, yeah, now I can't even go back to church.
Speaker 1 (50:15):
Well let's just say for a second, Julia, they were hickeys, Like,
let's just say that you know, he is a single
man and this is the first date that you've gone on.
While I would probably cover those up, I also think
it's not like he necessarily did something wrong. I mean,
it's not you guys aren't dating, you haven't been together
for a while or anything. Are you just saying that
for you, the idea that he may have, you know,
(50:37):
had some fun with somebody else is enough for you
to say that.
Speaker 8 (50:40):
For me, yeah, completely.
Speaker 19 (50:42):
I mean to show up on a first date and
to like clearly be flaunting that you've been, you know,
doing some illicit business with somebody else.
Speaker 8 (50:51):
One that's just so offensive to me too. It's just gross.
I don't want to know that. And three, like I
don't know he could have just covered it up up,
Like there's so many other done.
Speaker 1 (51:02):
Well, yeah, I want to hear too. But that's that's Tom,
the Hickey man. Tom. So what what Why did you
show up on the day with exposed hickeys? Then I'm sorry, Julie,
she's here, Yes, sir.
Speaker 10 (51:15):
Julia, I uh, those are not Hickey's, Okay.
Speaker 1 (51:18):
I had an allergic reaction to something.
Speaker 15 (51:20):
Earlier that day.
Speaker 10 (51:22):
It's not they were not Hickey.
Speaker 1 (51:23):
An allergic reaction to a female or a male. I mean,
may I could have been either. I suppose. I just
want to be I want to be inclusive. You know,
we all do hickeys.
Speaker 10 (51:34):
I had a allergic reaction to chocolate, Okay, Like I meant.
Speaker 1 (51:39):
To tell you that. Yeah, did you roll around? Yeah?
Speaker 10 (51:45):
I mean look, look, it's like even if they were higgy's, like, like,
I am single, So it's it's.
Speaker 1 (51:54):
Not like I'm not allowed to have them if they
were haky, because we just went from chocolate reaction to
the potential of a Hickey.
Speaker 16 (52:01):
What kind of church, y'all go, It's a very active church.
Speaker 10 (52:08):
They very I can think I go to a nice one.
Speaker 1 (52:11):
They're seeing the light. I mean, yeah, I think people
meet a church. By the way, Yes, you should meet
in church.
Speaker 16 (52:18):
I don't know if he should lead like he got
the hickey between leaving church and meeting up with her.
Speaker 1 (52:23):
So did you have to leave church like place?
Speaker 8 (52:28):
At church?
Speaker 1 (52:29):
I got a lot of questions. Yeah, I mean truly
so for you, it's just it's just sort of was distasteful,
Like you didn't want to have to see that?
Speaker 8 (52:37):
Yeah? Absolutely, would anyone want to see that?
Speaker 13 (52:40):
I know?
Speaker 1 (52:41):
But I also think you're just meeting right, So it's
possible that he's kissing other women and that wouldn't necessarily
be out of bounds.
Speaker 10 (52:51):
It wouldn't be and you know what, you know, I
can I can cover them up next time.
Speaker 1 (52:55):
You think ourselves said vacuum down? Yeah, was it your
curling iron? It's chocolate calin. Okay, look, I don't I
don't know, Julie. Would you consider giving him another opportunity?
Speaker 11 (53:13):
No?
Speaker 8 (53:13):
Absolutely not. I don't think that the situation.
Speaker 3 (53:17):
Is for me.
Speaker 1 (53:18):
Okay, thank you. You go back to church though, now
that everything's settled, settled, I mean, you know you don't
have to not go that's not cool.
Speaker 8 (53:24):
No, I'm going to have to find a new church,
and you know.
Speaker 1 (53:29):
Hush, but it sounds like it might be a wild
place over there. Great, they get done at mass all right.
Well look Tom, I'm sorry talking to work out. I
wish you well. Julie, thank you for your time as well.
Speaker 11 (53:40):
Thanks.
Speaker 1 (53:42):
Entertainment report is on The Fresh Show.
Speaker 2 (53:45):
Mariah Carey will perform on a floating stage in the
Amazon rainforest this week.
Speaker 1 (53:51):
Oh wow, and I can just picture it now. I mean,
I do worry.
Speaker 2 (53:55):
She wears those tall heels and it seems a little
hard per to get around, So maybe more people will
tune in.
Speaker 1 (54:01):
But on Wednesday, this just seems like something I'm gonna
need to watch. I think I need to watch it
more than possibilities. A lot of possibilities here, correct.
Speaker 2 (54:09):
So on Wednesday, Mariah will headline the Amazonia Live Today, Live,
Excuse Me, Live Today and Always Concert on the Guama
River to raise awareness to preserve the rainforest.
Speaker 1 (54:22):
So it's for a good cause.
Speaker 2 (54:23):
The floating stage is inspired by the region's flower, the
Victoria Amazonica, but it basically looks like a big old
lily pad.
Speaker 1 (54:31):
So picture Mariah care just swamp monster is going to
come out of the river, the Guama River.
Speaker 2 (54:39):
And now picture because she wears, she only shows one
side of her face.
Speaker 1 (54:45):
She's going to be to the side, but the stage
is going to be like floating.
Speaker 2 (54:48):
Down this river.
Speaker 1 (54:49):
I'm I mean, I love Mariah in this house, but
but she's got a tough time, like in Times Square
at times that doesn't move right right. So this seems
like a lot of different variables that we need to
account for.
Speaker 2 (55:04):
So stand I mean that I have not got word
if she's standing or sitting. I hope that she's sitting.
Speaker 1 (55:12):
She's sitting or strapped because with a net around her
sing because it's Amazon like you get Zeca.
Speaker 2 (55:22):
I don't know, she's gonna be floating down and we're
gonna be like Mariah come back.
Speaker 1 (55:25):
I don't know, So I'll be tuned in.
Speaker 2 (55:30):
By the way, She's also going to drop her upcoming
studio album Here for at All September twenty sixth, and
she will be at our iHeartRadio Music Festival this weekend.
Speaker 1 (55:38):
So like like electricity and a river, this is concerning, right.
I don't think this is good idea, but do arrange this.
Have you ever met Mariah Carey whoever set this up?
Speaker 2 (55:50):
Think of all the awareness though, no matter what happens
to Mariah, we're getting awareness.
Speaker 1 (55:56):
I'm not even sure if we do the tangent live
this way like, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (56:00):
No girl, I can barely walk on ground. I don't
want to be on a floating past. Speaking of gonna
be good, this was ridiculous. At the Born and Raised
Festival in Prior, Oklahoma, Saturday, singer Zach Bryant hopped over
a barbed wire fence to get to country singer Gavin
Addock after yelling do you.
Speaker 1 (56:19):
Want to fight like a man? Come open the gate,
and then apparently Gavin ran away.
Speaker 2 (56:23):
He didn't want to fight like a man, so Zach,
and that is short, and so he climbed up that
the real fast but there's literally barbed wire on top.
Speaker 1 (56:30):
He's straddling it. I mean this, I don't think it
was worth it.
Speaker 8 (56:34):
You too.
Speaker 1 (56:34):
But the tension, if you missed it, started back in.
Speaker 2 (56:37):
July when Gavin criticized how Zach responded to that fourteen
year old fan asking for a photo. Remember the fan
went on TikTok, and then Zach posted and deleted. You're
not entitled after someone plays two and a half hours
to a picture or a hello. Gavin slam Zach, writing
if you can't handle criticism from a kid who admires you.
Speaker 1 (56:54):
Why are you idolized?
Speaker 2 (56:56):
He later doubled down on a podcast, saying it's not
just about autographs. He also accused Zach of putting on
a public persona that doesn't match how he behaves behind
the scenes. And like I said, we have it on
Fredshow Radio dot com because I need you to see
him climb this fence and then straddle the barbed wire.
Speaker 1 (57:12):
It looks painful. Keigy, this once for you.
Speaker 2 (57:14):
Janelle Evans from Teen Mom Too says that she got
flewed out by Lil Wayne.
Speaker 12 (57:19):
Girl.
Speaker 1 (57:19):
I can't believe this. I can't believe it either.
Speaker 2 (57:21):
So she claims that she posted a story with his
song and then he invited her to La where they
met at his studio. She says that he wanted to
get right to business, and she said, and she says
that she's said to him, listen, Lil Wayne, I would
like you to take me to dinner first or get
(57:42):
to know me, and he was not interested in that.
She said that he said, Okay, I'll fly you right
back home. So she got flowed out, only to be
flown right back home. And then people keep talking about
it online, and she wrote, most recently, you guys need
to stop because he's mad at me telling everyone.
Speaker 1 (57:59):
So, so that happened. She did show us the d
MS before I moved to text. But many years ago
in a dating app, I had something like that happened
where it was like, you know, I really would like
it if we could go to dinner first, but but
we could also not like you, we could do it
the other way around here. I'm like, well that's that's
a risk.
Speaker 20 (58:18):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (58:18):
I mean, you know we could go to dinner, we
could do it the other way right. Shoot, you know
she wanted something to eat. I sure did, and he
said never mind. Will Wynde's opener, by the way, was
b mine. So if you're wonder you wouldn't even take
her to dinner. Now, she's like, can we get to
(58:39):
know each other first? But now, baby girl, he probably watched.
She's like, girl, I've been watching, I know you, I
know why, I know you. I'm you out right, what
do you think this is for Janelle? It's not to
get to know each other. I'm sorry. By the way,
he put it right back on spirit Man turned. He's like,
all right, I'll fight you home like he couldn't eat
whatever I don't know.
Speaker 2 (58:59):
Maybe you want to see what we're wearing today. Frendshire
Radio on YouTube. Also take the French jointing man on
the Free I Heard Radio app.
Speaker 1 (59:05):
If you want to catch up on anything you miss, well,
Danner's not too much to ask. I mean, it's a.
Speaker 2 (59:09):
Little yeah, take me somewhere at least a little carry
out to the studio, you know.
Speaker 10 (59:13):
But I did.
Speaker 1 (59:14):
At the same time, You're right, like what please think?
Speaker 11 (59:17):
You like?
Speaker 1 (59:17):
Come on? What do you think this is? Why do
you think he's fine? Me all the way? Like this
isn't notting Hill? All right? Like this isn't uh? I
mean when you think loween, you do think romance, But
I think right, I think something. Yeah, Mariah, I think
dance moved somebody s Actually this sounds like something from
(59:38):
the Onion, the Mariah story. It kind of does. Really
does float the Amazon river on a on a lily pads.
I'm actually gonna like have a party. I'm gonna fly
people out for that. Ye come on, hold on, we
got to watch Mariah first and then we can do
whatever we want the Amazon right after that? Do you
(01:00:01):
have what it takes to battle show biz? Shelley in
the show Biz Showdown.
Speaker 10 (01:00:06):
BI.
Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
I know people can hear us in the in the
Raleigh Durham area. Could someone please explain to me on
text eight five five five nine one one oh three
five why that song means something to Duke Basketball, Like
they vibe that the Blue Devil's vibe to that song.
Like I saw a video of coach Skryzhevsky like vibing
with his wife to Catskata, and I'm like, what is
(01:00:32):
going on? But I guess they play that at the
games and everyone goes crazy like a twenty year old
song and everyone's like nah, I mean, it's a good song,
but I'm just like, how did that become a thing.
Speaker 8 (01:00:41):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:00:42):
I feel like a lot of teams have a random
like you of them tried to say that the killer
song is just theirs, you know, that's everyone's right, that's
they did.
Speaker 1 (01:00:50):
That for all of us. That's yeah, that's everyone's song. Okay,
that's my vibe song, that's everyone's. That's Kiki's song. Yeah yeah, yeah,
that's not right. That's Shelley listens to that right before
the showdown every day, which is why it's hard because
like sometimes we're a couple of minutes later, earlier, whatever,
and she's trying to vibe. She doesn't know when to
do it. Then you come me off in the middle.
It's difficult.
Speaker 11 (01:01:10):
I know, I know.
Speaker 1 (01:01:10):
Did you get the whole thing in today? I did today? Okay, yeah, Jay,
Let's say one day I'm going to just turn you
on while you're just pelting it out in your home
in the middle. Yeah, exactly. Hey Caroline, Hey, hey, good morning.
How you doing. I'm good, how are you doing? Great?
Tell me a fun fact about you, please, fun sacked.
Speaker 7 (01:01:30):
I am a school social worker in Arlington.
Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
Well, thank you for doing that's very important work. And
two hundred bucks just the price today. Shelley's record one
fifty four wins only seventy one losses. She's won two straight.
Are you ready? Yes? All right, Hey, good luck, gotta go.
Audio Shelly off to the sound boof poof.
Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
Here we go.
Speaker 1 (01:01:51):
Question number one for Caroline which Bratt Singer married the
nineteen seventy five's George Daniel during a second wedding in
Sicily over the weekend. Charlie Prince Terry reunited with his
dad for the first time in over a year. Last week,
who's his dad? King Carl Travis Kelsey's sister called out
(01:02:14):
fans who said she needed to publicly congratulate he and
Taylor Swift on their engagement name his sister in law
three High Kelsey. The first trailer for the movie Christy,
about boxer Christy Martin is officially out. Which actress is
already getting oscar buzz for her starring role in the movie.
(01:02:36):
And everyone is talking about the documentary Unknown Number The
High School Catfish on which streaming service would you find it?
Speaker 15 (01:02:44):
Netflix?
Speaker 1 (01:02:44):
The show is disgusting.
Speaker 8 (01:02:47):
Crazy?
Speaker 11 (01:02:48):
Is that?
Speaker 1 (01:02:49):
Yeah? With ease? Yeah? Yeah, five. That's like the worst
news on a Monday. I mean, hey, here's open Shelley. Okay,
you gotta step up? You ready?
Speaker 5 (01:03:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
You got this? Which Brad Singer married the nineteen seventy
five's George Daniel during a second wedding in Sicily over
the weekend. Charlie XC Yeah. Prince Harry reunited with his
dad for the first time in over a year last week.
Who's his dad, Prince Charles? No, No, you said Prince,
It's King, Okay, I said, Then I said, but she
(01:03:25):
said Jason, Jason, she said, she said Prince with a pause,
and I didn't do anything.
Speaker 10 (01:03:32):
I got.
Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
I gotta do it, Jason, because if I hadn't pause,
you wouldn't have changed it.
Speaker 3 (01:03:44):
Oh no, oh no.
Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
Travis Kelsey's sister got called out fans who said that
she needed to publicly congratulate he and Taylor Swift on
their engagement. Name his sister in law, Oh, Kylie. Yeah.
The first trailer for the movie Christie, about boxer Christy Martin,
is officially out. Which actress is already getting oscar buzz
for her starring role in the movie Sydney Sweeney. Yes,
and everyone's talking about the documentary Unknown Number the High
(01:04:10):
School Catfish, which is disgusting on Winch streaming service. Would
you find it Netflix? Yeah, that's a four. I'm sorry.
I'm sorry. Caroline.
Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
You win.
Speaker 1 (01:04:23):
A lot of excitement from Caroline for two hundred rows.
That is last summer seventy two for Shelley and used
to have a two game win streak. It's back to
one hundred bucks tomorrow. She's never lost two in a row.
Will history take place tomorrow? I don't know, Caroline, hang on,
have a great day.
Speaker 4 (01:04:38):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
Oh Shelley, I'm sorry. Oh, people think we favor you
in this game. We can't. We simply cannot. We simply cannot, Shelley.
I understand. It's Monday. I know you're going fast.
Speaker 10 (01:04:49):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:04:49):
These things happen. Yeah, these things happen. I'm Ron Burgundy.
I say things all the time, and I'm like, what
did I just say? Someone like you just said that.
I'm like what, huh?
Speaker 17 (01:04:56):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:04:57):
My mouth moves, the sound comes out. I don't know
whe's going. All right, Well, Shelley, tomorrow we do it again.
We do it again. All have a good day.
Speaker 8 (01:05:07):
Okay, you too.
Speaker 1 (01:05:08):
See if I hadn't paused, then, you know I should have.
I had to just buzzer right then. But I paused.
I couldn't believe. I couldn't believe my ears. I couldn't
believe what I heard. Man, I was been shocking off
at the time. All right, Kiki's courts up next, But
I'm bump girl. What are you doing here? The entertainer
of Fort fun Fact and headlines all coming upstairs? More
(01:05:28):
Fred show next?
Speaker 11 (01:05:32):
Go?
Speaker 1 (01:05:32):
So you only follow pretty people? Yeah?
Speaker 16 (01:05:34):
Like I only like to see pretty stuff on my timeline,
Ugly people on my timeline.
Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
Like it like it triggers I'm like, oh God, not again.
I'm like, why so.
Speaker 3 (01:05:45):
You again?
Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
Fred Show is on Monday, September fifteenth. It's a Fred Show.
High canling Hi, Jason Brown pulling us out today, Kicky
Yeah shellby Shelley MD eight five five, five, nine one
one three five context the same number. Kiki's Court is
next by I'm bomb Girl. What are you doing here?
(01:06:08):
The Biggest Stories of the day, GA Headlines, fun Fact
and the Entertainment Report coming up this hour. What's in there?
Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
Kese, I'll tell you about the youngest person ever to
win an Emmy Order of a Fresh show.
Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
It's Kiki's Court, all right, The Honorable Kikiliki is here.
Judge Kiki eight, take it away. Wow, all right, let's
get into the courtroom.
Speaker 16 (01:06:29):
The gabble has been hit, all right, It says, hey,
kikey am I wrong for refusing to let my ex
husband bring his former mistress to our child's birthday party.
I've been divorced for three years, and since the divorce,
my ex and I have always celebrated our kids' birthdays
together as a family.
Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
It's the only day of the year that we keep
it cordial for our kids.
Speaker 16 (01:06:52):
Well, my ex decided to marry his former mistress at
the beginning of the year, and now his new wife
is demanding to attend my daughter's birthday party and Kiki,
it was an absolute no for me. However, my ex
decided to bring her to the party anyway, and it
completely ruined my daughter's party. I had to have both
(01:07:13):
of them removed from the party and it caused a
big scene. Now some of my family is saying that
I overreacted, but I don't think I deserve to have
to eat cake with a woman that ruined my family.
Speaker 1 (01:07:25):
Am I wrong? M Judge Kiki? All right, I say you,
you know, at first, you know I always going to
take the woman's side, this is what I do.
Speaker 16 (01:07:34):
But I had to really think about this, and I
think both of you are selfish, the ex husband and you.
You know, I feel like you are selfish as well,
because in that moment, I told my ex not to
bring the lady to the party. So he's selfish for
bringing her because he should have just suggested in that moment. Okay,
well we need to start having separate birthday parties. I'm
not going to ask this man to disrespect his new wife.
(01:07:57):
You know what, I'm saying, I can understand him wanting
her to be there. Whatever, Then if he if he
was a mature I feel like he would have said, okay,
well we need to start having separate birthday parties if
you're not gonna allow my wife to attend.
Speaker 1 (01:08:07):
This is especially precarious though, because of the of the
cheating element. Exactly. This isn't like they broke up and
then went their separate ways and met different people and
then those different people aren't allowed to be there. I
mean this, he was cheating with this woman, so it's
a slap in the face. It's alas to this woman
to run. However, Judge Kiki, it is not about them.
It is about the kid. Exactly what behave In my.
Speaker 16 (01:08:31):
Opinion when she arrived to my daughter's birthday party, I
would have tried to keep my coup until after the party,
like I wouldn't have caused the scene had them removed.
I would have been like, you know what, I'm gonna
eat this today for my kid, but after this, I'm
gonna deal with both of y'all.
Speaker 5 (01:08:44):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
That would have been my mentality towards it.
Speaker 16 (01:08:47):
But I feel like he could have also just suggested
that they have separate birthday parties because he knew how
she felt about this before the party.
Speaker 1 (01:08:53):
So I think they're both selfish eight three five context,
the same number you guys are the jury. Yeah, yeah,
I think if the family dynamic is such that everybody
can't get along and the guy married the mistress, which
means she's the stepmom now and she's going to be
around for the foreseeable future, then they either have to
agree to cooperate or they have to have separate events.
(01:09:16):
Because I mean, for how long can you mean the
mistress part and the cheating part is unfortunate, but for
how long can you say this woman you married cannot
be a part of this little unit over here? Like
how long can you keep her out? You know, what's
done is done, And you.
Speaker 16 (01:09:33):
Want to say, you know, be the bigger person for
your kids, but like you said, it's a sensitive situation.
Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
She was the mistress.
Speaker 16 (01:09:38):
She you know, she played a part in my family
falling apart. You're entitled to that. But when you're at
your kid's birthday party, like, come on, let's all be
adults until this is over with and then we can
fight in the parking.
Speaker 1 (01:09:49):
Lot, you know, like like adults. Yeah, like like civilized,
like normal people would ye take it outside. Well, because
the kid's gonna I remember this now, you know, the
kids go with people getting the drug out of parties
and all this stuff. You don't forget stuff like that.
Speaker 16 (01:10:05):
Yeah, And I mean you expressed that to your ex
before you told him no. He clearly doesn't listen. But
I feel like he's selfish because he could have just said, Okay, well,
my wife wants to be there, so we will celebrate
another time.
Speaker 6 (01:10:18):
Right, But at some point too, like when can he
take responsibility for like what he's done in the past
and maybe oblige his ax a little bit, like you
messed up, but at least you know, you're supposedly happy
now you're with the mistress, like you can go on
and live your life, but like for your acts, like
maybe the mother of your kids, like maybe just oblige
her because you wear a dirty dog.
Speaker 3 (01:10:38):
Right, you know.
Speaker 16 (01:10:39):
But then he has to go home to the new
wife and she's like you telling me I can't come
somewhere with you.
Speaker 1 (01:10:43):
I'm your wife. You know that can be a whole thing.
So it's just's messy, Yeah, it is. Hey Michelle, Hey, Hey,
so do you you've lived this? You know this story?
Speaker 12 (01:10:54):
I lived it?
Speaker 1 (01:10:55):
Yes, I lived this story. What happened?
Speaker 7 (01:10:58):
Dad cheated on my mom.
Speaker 17 (01:11:01):
Mom found out and gave him ultimatum. Dad chose to leave,
and so at that point then there was they separated,
and then he's been with her now for thirty years,
and so she's the first probably five years is a
little bit hectic. But then Mom received and she's like,
I'm not gonna, you know, ruin my children's birthdays and
(01:11:23):
holidays because this.
Speaker 4 (01:11:25):
Woman ruined stuff.
Speaker 17 (01:11:27):
I'm going to be a bigger person. And Mom didn't
talk to her, but everybody was invited to everything.
Speaker 1 (01:11:35):
Yeah, no one's asking anyone to be friends here, you know.
And I realized that when you're not involved, it's easy
to say, but at some point it's about the kid
or kids or whatever, and so you know, either you
have to choose to accept it and and just keep
your distance and cooperate, or or I don't know what
the alternative is. Everything's divisive and and there's never any
(01:11:56):
semblance of mom and dad getting along ever again. And
I don't know, I mean, maybe, I mean that's better
than this, but yeah, what do you say?
Speaker 11 (01:12:02):
See that.
Speaker 1 (01:12:03):
The past thing was was my parents still got along,
but the new.
Speaker 12 (01:12:08):
Wife didn't like the fact that they got along.
Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
No, wait a minute, you're a mistress. You're a mistress,
and now you complaining about the Nah, you don't get
a vote in this. No, you don't get a voting
in the functionality of a relationship that failed because there
was infidelity. Here, don't get a vote in this.
Speaker 10 (01:12:24):
Exactly who you talking?
Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
I mean, those little metaling mistresses. I always got something
to say. No, no, now you're insecure. Oh wait a minute,
So you weren't insecure when you were, when you were
part of the demise of a relationship. But now you're
insecure because they get along because you know that your
little flusy if she knew right, we'll care give it
a day. Thank you, Michelle, A good day. Thank you
(01:12:49):
for sure. Now I want to go live to Hadley. Now,
Now Hadley is eleven, Hadley Hadley. Yes, you are a
little young to be chiming in on this, but I'd
still like to hear what you have to say.
Speaker 5 (01:13:01):
Okay, So I agree with Keikey. I think that even
though the ex wife said don't bring her, and he
decided to bring her is selfish, but also kicking them
out is also selfish. But it shouldn't matter what the
parents want. It should matter what the kids want because
(01:13:24):
it's the kids party, not.
Speaker 8 (01:13:25):
The parents party.
Speaker 1 (01:13:27):
That is a very mature perspective of a situation. I
hope that you do not fully understand at eleven years old. Okay,
yeah you are Hey, you are welcome here anytime. Handley,
have a good day. Thank you, thank you, thank you
so much. A teachable moment right there. Okay, we got
to we talk about how adults do stupid things and
kids oftentimes have to play the stupid games and get
(01:13:49):
the stupid prizes because the adults did stupid stuff. Hey, Chrizly.
Speaker 15 (01:13:54):
Of Churs, what's up are you doing?
Speaker 17 (01:13:56):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (01:13:56):
What's going on? Brother? What do you think in Kiki's court?
Speaker 10 (01:14:01):
Well, listen, I feel for the lady.
Speaker 11 (01:14:03):
I feel for the mom who's hosting the party, but
she's trying to be a control freak. The man that look,
the past is the past. When you get married, that
person's one. It's a package deal. We see a lot
of times where people try to control situations because they
don't like the result. And further, if it were reversed,
or if she were married at the time as well,
(01:14:24):
she wouldn't have a problem.
Speaker 1 (01:14:27):
Yeah, yeah, I mean it's easier said than done, man,
because you know, now you've got to look at this
woman in the eye, who was part of the demise
of your family. And again, I don't know the whole
situation here. It's never really as cut and dry as
one person just teaches it. It's very rarely.
Speaker 11 (01:14:42):
Yeah, but but they're always listen, it's a divorce, so
you know, somebody's not going to be happy. But at
the end of the day, you cannot control the other
person when you're that's half this kid, when you're no
longer married to them.
Speaker 14 (01:14:56):
It's just that's how it is.
Speaker 11 (01:14:58):
Yeah, And so you know that's that's the type of
thing that does the kid wrong. How did your child
learn how to manage conflict if that's what they see?
Speaker 1 (01:15:10):
No, you're you're right, No, you're right. Thank you, man,
have a good day. I'm glad you called him. All right, No,
it's true, I mean, it is true. Get over it. Well,
it's like the adult's got to be adults, and it's
it's so hard to do. Like, no one's saying that's easy, No,
but the adults got to be adults, right, Hey al though, Hey, hey,
how you do a man, kiky scot So just just
(01:15:30):
to recap here and make sure I get this right,
judge Kiki. But basically, a woman and her ex husband,
they were in a relationship, they had a kid. He cheated.
Now he's married to the woman with whom he cheated,
and they have birthday parties every year, and the former
husband and wife get together, you know, to celebrate the
kid's birthday and they're cordial. Now the mistress showing up,
(01:15:52):
who's the actually it was now the wife. Yeah, now
she's showing up too. It's making a whole thing uncomfortable.
And there was an altercation and people were drug out,
and it was a whole thing. What do you think.
Speaker 3 (01:16:02):
I think that the new wife, who has nothing to
do with the kid, shouldn't come now that it happened
once that sort of it's already happened, and I agree
the kid wasn't thought of by either parent and that issue.
But going forward, Hey, look, if you want your new
wife to have a party with your daughter.
Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
Fine, but not with me.
Speaker 3 (01:16:27):
You know, that's simple, And it's simply because I think
Mom's a little warm right now. A couple of years
down the road, she'd probably calmed down. It's not like
the daughter doesn't see this new woman when she goes
visit her father. We're just talking about the birthday.
Speaker 1 (01:16:46):
Yeah, I agree with that. I think this is a
situation where maybe that that woman doesn't need to be
included in this particular event. You know, you're not saying
you can't have a relationship with her, because you're right
when you go over to his house, you're going to
meet this woman and develop a relationship hopefully or whatever.
But for this particular thing, maybe she doesn't need to
be there. Maybe this is just mom and dad handling
(01:17:07):
this so that there's everyone's comfortable. I agree. Although, thank you,
have a good day. You're glad you called. Thank you
for listening. A lot of people have living this. Hey Lindsey, Hey,
good morning. What do you think?
Speaker 20 (01:17:20):
Well, so, being someone that has sort of lived this,
my ex husband and I would do the same thing
for the kids, celebrate their birthdays together.
Speaker 3 (01:17:29):
But once I.
Speaker 20 (01:17:29):
Started dating someone who I'm now currently married to.
Speaker 12 (01:17:33):
I just got married last Friday. Awesome, thank you, thank you,
thank you.
Speaker 20 (01:17:39):
I start We've just stopped you like, once someone else
is involved, I mean, regardless of cheating or cordially separating,
whatever it is, once you have a significant other or
another spouse or I don't feel there's any reason to
have to blend all of it together. Sure in passing, kids,
pick up, switching weekends, whatever it is, great, be cordial, Hi,
(01:18:01):
how are you see you later? But families said that
there's no reason for it out of respect for everyone involved.
Speaker 12 (01:18:07):
That's uncomfortable.
Speaker 20 (01:18:08):
Some people can do it great, but given the circumstances
that he cheated at and she now the little mistress
home wrecker wants to be like the white or the
mom's st eat cake with the girl that ruined their family.
Speaker 12 (01:18:24):
Absolutely unacceptable.
Speaker 20 (01:18:25):
So everyone needs to be an adult, do the thing separately,
and the kids can have three freaking birthday parties. You
don't have to sit face to face with the person
that stirred your whole world up.
Speaker 1 (01:18:37):
Yeah, because as a kid, I lived a thing where
people were trying to force the family unit. It's like,
well these you know, this is your step mom now,
and this is your these are your step brothers, And
it's like no, no, no, I why do I have
to accept I don't have to accept this, like I don't.
I don't. I didn't want any of this. I don't have.
Why do I have to like this lady? Like, and
you picked her with your pecker. Yeah, so so there,
(01:18:58):
get her out of here and she'll be gone soon anyway.
And she was, thank you, Lindsey, have a good day.
Speaker 11 (01:19:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:19:06):
I don't like the whole forced family unit thing. It's like, well,
but she's here now, so you have to accept that.
Speaker 15 (01:19:10):
I know.
Speaker 1 (01:19:10):
I don't. I got a mom, and I got a
dad's entertainer report. He's on the Fread show.
Speaker 2 (01:19:16):
Ed Cheron says he has an album called Eject written
into his will.
Speaker 1 (01:19:21):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:19:21):
Remember he dropped a new album called Play on Friday
and shared that he has plans for four more called Pause,
Fast Forward, Rewind, and Stop. That man loves a group
of albums that have a theme. Remember he used to
do math symbols for his name YEP subtract. When asked
if Stop would be his final full length release, he
(01:19:42):
responded by saying he has one more written into his will,
like I said, called Eject, and set up where his
wife Cherry Cherry Sebone would get.
Speaker 1 (01:19:50):
To choose the songs that go on that final album.
Speaker 2 (01:19:53):
He said that even if God forbid he dies tomorrow,
this album would be ready to go, and don't worry
if you're a fan. He did say that getting to
the release of that album Stop is going to take
a long time, but he really does love a.
Speaker 1 (01:20:06):
Theme for a group of elbowt names.
Speaker 2 (01:20:08):
Fifteen year old Owhen Cooper became the youngest man to
win an Emmy last night, taking home the trophy for
his work on Adolescence. When Adolescence dropped earlier this year,
it broke all kinds of records for Netflix, and I
feel like everyone was talking about it. But if you
have not seen it, it's that movie that was filmed
with no cuts. So it was one take, I believe,
(01:20:29):
and followed a dad after his son played by Owen Cooper,
was arrested for the murder of a female school friend.
Speaker 1 (01:20:34):
Did you watch it? I did see that.
Speaker 11 (01:20:36):
Was it good?
Speaker 1 (01:20:37):
I haven't watched it? Yeah, yeah, it was okay, you're
not convincing, Well, I don't know. I wasn't. I don't know.
I was kind of like, that's it, okay. I just
remember thinking at the end, like, oh, oh, so it's okay.
I don't want to say too much better. Oh oh yeah,
I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:20:55):
I won an award for it, so you know, yeah, good,
yeah good for Owen, right, his first ever Emmy and
he's the youngest man. But his counterpart broke that record
a while ago. Roxanna Zal, who has since left Hollywood.
She was fourteen when she won her first Emmy for
Something About Amelia in nineteen eighty four, so she holds
the record of all time. Elsewhere at the Emmys, Vince
(01:21:17):
Gill and Leanie Wilson performed Go Rest High on That
Mountain during the in Memoriam segment. Their rendition of the
song was particularly significant as it featured a newly added
verse marking the song's thirtieth anniversary.
Speaker 1 (01:21:29):
But I'm just waiting for us to figure out who.
Speaker 2 (01:21:31):
Was missing, because I feel like every year they missed
someone in that damn segment and then everyone gets upset.
Igo Modem, who Jason loves especially, and now she's leaving
SNL after seven seasons.
Speaker 1 (01:21:43):
I Go joined in twenty eighteen.
Speaker 2 (01:21:44):
Became known for her impressions and original characters, like Lisa
from Temecula. My favorite is when she would play Dion Warwick.
It cracked me up every time. Her departure is part
of a bigger cast shake up ahead of the show's
fifty first season with other exits like Heidi Gardner, Michael Longfellow,
Devin Walker, and Moore.
Speaker 1 (01:22:02):
So I don't know what's going on over there, but
I'm a little concerned for them.
Speaker 2 (01:22:05):
Also, you guys liked my recommendation of Unknown Number the
High School Catfish, so I have another one for you
that I started, The Girlfriend on Prime.
Speaker 1 (01:22:16):
It's called The Girlfriend.
Speaker 2 (01:22:17):
It is about a mom who's a little close with
her son, who is suspicious about her son's new girlfriend
who comes around.
Speaker 1 (01:22:25):
Is it real or is it a drama? It is
not real. I don't know if it's based on something real,
but it's a drama. It's good. It kind of reminds
me like really good music. Kind of reminds me a
little bit of White Lotus. But it's very good.
Speaker 2 (01:22:38):
It'll get you right away, So I highly recommend. I
have not finished it, but it's I'm a.
Speaker 1 (01:22:45):
Series. Yeah, so you're gonna need a little move situation.
I know, I know it's not. This is a good one,
and the Unknown Number thing is just disgusting. It's disgusting. Yeah,
it's yeah.
Speaker 17 (01:22:59):
If you know.
Speaker 1 (01:23:00):
So even if you know the ending because we've talked
about it or it's been you know, well sort of publicized,
you got to just watch it because the way people
are acting on this thing, it's like what on earth? Yeah,
and even acting afterwards is like pretty upsetting.
Speaker 2 (01:23:13):
By the way, if you missed any part of our show,
you want to catch up, it's all up there type
the French shwe demand and if you could, it really
helps set us as a preset.
Speaker 1 (01:23:20):
The Fread Show is on Fread's Fun Fact Fredlund so much,
so much. I'm not sure if it's useful information because
it's not my job. It didn't have to be useful.
It's just called fun fact. It's called it's not called
(01:23:40):
useful fun fact. But certain types of sharks will enter
a state of tonic immobility due to shock if you
flip them over. So flipping over a shark will render
it temporarily immobile.
Speaker 3 (01:23:54):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:23:55):
Some killer whales have been recorded to exploit this weakness
and per pissfully flip it over.
Speaker 16 (01:24:02):
Yes, I like this because you know, everybody's scared of
a shark. But like if I just flip you over. Bro,
You worthless, yea, because it was shark is that close
to me? Obviously, the first thing I'm gonna do.
Speaker 1 (01:24:12):
Is touch it. Yeah, come here, I'm gonna just flip
you on your back. Yeah. And then it just passes out,
and then you just go ahead and little swim away,
you know, just go ahead and just you know, look
at a couple of apps, and then before long you're fine.
Simple flip it over. The same is true with me,
by the way, if you flip me over, I become
a tonically immobile depending on how much of more freadshell
(01:24:38):
next
