Blogs and Headlines is hour. What are you working on?

Speaker 2 (01:05):
K Serena Williams's husband got his lock back on Stephen Asmith,
saying that he should have divorced her after the Super
Bowl halftime show.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
It was Chef's kiss, a wonderful moment.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
You brought up something really important on the Sheep, Kaylin,
and it's it's important that we start the show with
something significant this morning. It's a lot going on in
the world, and I would agree. If you go to
a football game, it's not just where any jersey day,
it's not just where any jersey from any team day.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
It's not there are rules.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
There are rules. If you go to a football game,
as you did on Sunday, you made it inside. It
was that AI.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
I didn't get inside. We were the very last season.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
If that was a I, I mean, hey, we we
got in the building.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Would you buy tickets last minute?

Speaker 4 (01:55):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:55):
No, no, we had to take the whole time. It
was a very hard game.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
To get into because the Chiefs very much needed that game,
and because the tailor swift of it all, she doesn't
really help make things easier to get into it.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
You had, but you had tickets whole time. Yeah, I
always have the understanding you didn't. You were going with
that ticket.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
I didn't have them in my possession, so they were
not sent to me from my boyfriend because he did
not get them sent to him. So I was not
trusting up the situation. Oh I got them the day
before the game.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Oh got it?

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Okay, Okay, Well anyway, it is not wear any jersey
day you wear. You wear the clothing of one of
the teams playing in the event that you were attending.
So it's not just like if I go to, you know,
the Panthers game, I don't just wear a Jets jersey.

(02:42):
If they're playing the Dolphins, you don't wear a Jets jersey.
It's it's no.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
No, I even saw baseball jerseys. I was like, that's like, yeah, that.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
May be okay, because if your team is playing in
like if you're wearing a Mariners or a Blue Jays
jersey or a Dodgers or h I mean a Walkinge
jersey like those, they are still playing. So your team
might have been playing yesterday and then you may have
worn like a Marina jersey because they were playing.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
But why are you here? Yeah, like why are you
at the football game? Correct?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
I think that's different, But you can't like if you're no.
If you're a Las Vegas Aces fan and they just
won the NBA or WNBA finals and on the same
day as the event that you were attending, the Aces
are playing, then maybe maybe maybe, But that's a different sport.
So that's why that's okay. If I'm at the Broncos
game against the Cardinals, I don't just show up in

(03:35):
a Chargers jersey. I don't.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
So it wasn't teams that were still in like the
playoffs at all baseball wise. And then I sat behind
a dude in a very dirty white shirt but then
a Cowboys at and he was trolling everybody, and I
was like, why are you here.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Like a Cowboys fan? Like you you're here to mess
with other teams. We didn't even ask for you.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Literally, like he left for a while, disappeared. I don't
know where he went.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Told me I lost yesterday too, right, like, just there's
there's rules.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
You can't be doing that.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
You lost it the Panthers, correct, Like, you don't get
to be talking to anybody.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
No, you don't get to be trolling us. Get out
of here.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
No. So anyway, that's that's my feeling about them is,
and you see it Sometimes you go to like a
you'll go to a Bulls game and they're playing the
Warriors and then here's some guy in the Orlando Magic jersey.
I'm like, well, what is that? And it's not even
it's not even one of the players that used to play. No, Like,
it's not like your guy got traded, but you got
the old jersey because you know, you didn't go out

(04:32):
and buy the new jersey, or like you liked him
better when he played for your team, so you wear that.
Maybe maybe that, but like, we're not. It's just not
really nilly kind of stuff.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
I say, stick to the sport you're at with one
of the teams you're at, or find something in your
wardrobe that goes along with their colors, or wear something neutral.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
You gotta be like, what are we doing?

Speaker 1 (04:52):
I think so, I think so too. I Also, I
think it's neat that you were elevated to friends of ownership.
When you went to the Travis Kelcey and Patrick Mahomes's restaurant.
We went from not being able to get in to
Jason pretending to be someone else to get your reservation,
So then you became friends with ownership.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
They they must have thought I was someone else.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
I had a lot of good carm on this trip,
which was wonderful.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
But yet they literally like, I don't know what they thought.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
So we got a table last minute primetime reservations.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
There was a line around the corner. I already was
like what is going on?

Speaker 2 (05:24):
We go in there and like the manager comes over
and he's saying all these things, and he's like, yeah,
you're a friend of a friend, right, And I was like,
uh huh.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
Right, that's exactly right, brown Jah.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
What did you tell them? Did you say she was
like it's a secret, look at diplomat or something. What
did you tell her? I was very just like plain like.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
I was just like like, we worked for we have
someone that wants to come in. We're not looking for
free stuff. We just need a reservation. Can you just
give us a reservation?

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (05:54):
So then you got the friend of the friend table.

Speaker 7 (05:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
So they talked to me in there, we're sitting We're seated.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Next to like one of the best Blue Jays, No, no,
not Toronto blue Jays.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
What's their team that the.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Thesmall team, the Oil Yeah, one of the one of
the best, like New Royals players sitting there or whatever.
So they gave us the view right in front of
the private room, which and then after we eat, we
get I go downstairs and we just take a look
at the bar. We just want to see the bar,
and that's where they like put people, you know, who
are waiting in line or if their reservation goes longer.

Speaker 3 (06:26):
And so we looked. We saw there wasn't a seat.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
And then we went to the bathroom and the guy's like, oh,
did you want to sit at the bar. I was like, yeah,
but there's not a seat where we can go get
a night cap at our hotel.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
So we go to the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
We come out, there's a whole area at the bar
they've set up for us with reserve signs. And they
see us next to a guy they go, he's here's
so and so he's also friends of ownership and I
was like, right, French ownership.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
So like, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Then then you have to be like, do you know Steve.
You don't know Steve. He's I think he's more of
like a partner on the download, like he didn't talk
a lot about it, but Steve, you know the owner, Oh,
silent owner you know. Oh, I wasn't even supposed to
say his name. My bad, I said, did I say Steve?

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (07:07):
So that were they like? Oh wow? So were they
trying to vibe with you because you read the level just.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Like Kane Brown.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
I was like Kane, Yeah, I asked him.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
I'm like, hey, you know how many like what's going on?
How you doing? What brings you here? Because I guess it.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Was from what brings you? You know, what brings you
to these parts? I don't know is because you know
ownership like we do.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
It was everything and more and we did.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
We did see someone of the Taylor Travis camp and
what that was?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
My ever loving mind? Wow, what would you see?

Speaker 7 (07:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Why would tease it for blogs? But Donna Helsey was there.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
I think we're telling the story now.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
I think we're just there's a lot more so Yeah, okay,
well they tell it you like the phones.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
Donna was there. It was all good. It was the
best experience ever. Shout out to Jason.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Look at that. Well, Jason, I have a list of
places I'd like to go if you could go and
get to an email in the place because I'm friends
with Jason, which meets I'm friends with ownership, ownership the
biggest stories of the day. So there's the government shutdown.
Maybe you've heard of it. The federal government is at
a funding impasse. As what we're calling it, nine hundred
thousand federal employees furloyd for Furloyd, they're furloyd fur load

(08:26):
or for Lloyd. I like, I like my version better.
I'm friends with ownership fur load or working without pay.
Critical deadlines loom course might shutdown. Military pay has been effected,
and some different social security safety net programs as well.
Lawmakers are under pressure to reach a resolution soon. Guys,
from Windows ten has reached the end of support? What

(08:47):
are we on? Are we what windows are we on?
Are we on to eleven? Are we twelve? Have we
moved on to fourteen fifty?

Speaker 3 (08:54):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
I don't know how to find we're still on Windows well,
I mean I think we're on Windows eight on our
power Yeah, we're on eleven now?

Speaker 7 (09:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Okay, oh wow, no, wonder it. People have been all
over me to get on some kind of call with
them to change the thing to go to a I
don't know. I'm like, I don't know, guys, this works fine,
I'm good but I guess not no more support for
Windows ten. So I guess that means that I wonder
if we use software around here that is in its

(09:25):
first edition and they have eleven versions of it, and
I'm looking at one right now that we use version
one point five. They have eleven versions of it, but
we're still using one. So this doesn't affect us at all.
It'll be fun. And a peace agreement was signed in
Egypt that enabled the release of surviving Gaza hostages in
exchange for prisoners held in Israel. Big news over the weekend.

(09:45):
West jeb is rolling out a major cabin overhaul that
could make extra legroom seats more expensive for travelers, which
that's not uncommon, But would you pay to have to
recite to be able to recline your seat, Like, would
you sit in a seat for less money that didn't recline,
because apparently that's another thing that they're doing now. Santared
economy would have the least leg room under west Hitt's

(10:08):
new cabin rules. Economy seats would have fixed recline, meaning
you wouldn't be able to lean back unless you pay
for a seat in the premium cabin. So the reclining
charge is basically if you want to seat the reclines
that you'd have to book premium, which costs more. So
now we don't even get a seat the recline. Like
at least you got a seat, you know, and some
airlines it was real thin, you know what I mean,

(10:29):
like like super thin seat, you know, not a lot
of padding, but you got a seat that went back
a little bit. Now they're saying you're going to have
to upgrade if you want to seat the reclined.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
I've been flying this way, so no surprise to me.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Do you ever forget that when you fly Spirit? Do
you ever get the big seat in the front?

Speaker 5 (10:43):
Now that's luxury?

Speaker 1 (10:44):
You ever get that? Yes? And it is.

Speaker 8 (10:46):
You get the big seats of this and I wave
it all the broke hees going to the regular seat.

Speaker 9 (10:50):
They used to call it the big chairs on the
big seat right, Yeah, I know, seriously, this first class
on Spirit set in the front. Yeah there's one or
is it like four?

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Yeah? Yeah, there's just four random big ass like recliners
in the front of the airplane. And then and then
right next to that is everyone else. So you just
sit there and.

Speaker 8 (11:11):
Yeah, yeah, it's like thrifted lazy boys they.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Got yeah, but always said it's fine, it's fine, just
right bolted down. You know, it's weird stains, but who cares? Right, Yeah,
fights big cup? Yeah, sure enough, it's nice. Yeah, it's
very nice. So would you though, would you? I guess
you all would up? You'd upgrade on west Chat for

(11:34):
a seat that reclines? How far am I going? I
guess TiVo is done making actual tvOS. Now, when's the
last time that you saw an actual TiVo like Tvo
branded item?

Speaker 3 (11:46):
I forgot what that is. It's the original DVR.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Oh, so the company has stopped selling and producing all
of its TVR boxes and accessories, ending more than twenty
five years in the hardware business. Now they're going to
focus on licensing. But you know, previously, if you want
to do this, you had to buy a ti Vo right,
and then DVR became like the standard term. But you know,
remember people just say like, I'm gonna Tvo that yep,

(12:09):
you know which which our era? Well, but that's what
you all is a marketer. That's the only thing you
could ever hope for, is this someone would associate your
item with the you know, a verb, right, like a
like a like a Kleenex. Well it's a tissue. They
got other brands, but no, you know where Like I
want to coke? Well, I mean will PEPSI ble, No,
it's two totally different things. But like you got the
name brand like a que tip, it's called something else,

(12:32):
but like no it's not. It's a q tip to TiVo.
How did they mess that up? No, I don't know,
but anyway, that's gone now. Trigger treaters are going to
see fewer chocolate bars this year. Rising cocoa prices have
translated to an eight percent uptick in consumer price index
for candy and gum, and it's items made of cocoa
seeing the biggest spike. A forty eight count box of

(12:53):
full sized chocolate bars that sold for about forty bucks
last year will cost fifty this year. Bags of fun
sized chocolate bars are up five bucks from last year.
We all know that the elite, the elite houses, I
mean the really boogie people are handing a full size
candy bars. Oh yes, I mean that is that is elite.
That is we we have money, we are rich. We

(13:15):
are handing at full size candy. That's what that is.
That's what that is honestly because a buck a pop
we're talking about now.

Speaker 6 (13:22):
Yeah, I mean I only do it because my parents
used to do it growing up, but I cannot afford it,
Like I very much go into buying all the Halloween candy.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
But now I've set the standard. How many kids would
you say you did? This is gonna sound weird. How
many kids?

Speaker 10 (13:37):
Like?

Speaker 1 (13:38):
How many trigger treats will attend your home on Halloween?
Fifty one hundred? How many kids Jason frequent my house?
How do I give a kid? I lure them a candy?
Probably like fifty it's October fourteenth, it's not even Halloween kids, Yeah,
fifty okay, so that one's candy each of them gets.

(14:01):
You give them like one full sized candy shoes.

Speaker 6 (14:04):
Like usually I'll buy like a box of like three
different kinds and have them in a bowl and then
I'll be like, oh, which one do you want?

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Okay? So like fifty bucks, maybe one hundred bucks some candy.

Speaker 6 (14:14):
Yeah, which is crazy, It is crazy crazy, That is crazy,
But you're right.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
Once you set the standard, you're the house. It gives
out the full sized candy bars, like you can't then
you can't then go to fun size after that, and
you certainly can't go snack size.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Oh we're on snack size out here, like we're bagging it.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
If we're bagging it down from from full size to
fun size, so be it. It's a rough economy right now.
But we're going to we're going to snack size now,
which is half of the fun size. Now we have
a problem. We have a situation on our hands, and
I feel like kids will just take more. They'll just
don'll end up grabbing more, which means I don't know
if you're saving.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
I give them individually. They do not touch the bowl?

Speaker 1 (14:50):
Oh you do? Oh yeah, you're an individual giver out.
You're one of those.

Speaker 10 (14:54):
Okay, Well last year I was in Hawaii, so we
left the bowl in front of the house.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
I think it was gone within like twenty minut.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
That that's anyone. You can't do that, that was really
good for You can't do you can't do that because
like what are you gonna do? Chase after the kid
in the skeleton costume? Like which one?

Speaker 11 (15:11):
You know?

Speaker 1 (15:11):
I don't know? Right?

Speaker 7 (15:13):
No?

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Wow? So you hand out in all weas which merit
base like if you have if you're more polity, you
have a better costume than Pauline is gonna give you
more can.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Competition at my house.

Speaker 10 (15:20):
Yet needs to like show up and show out, say
Sugar Tree, do the whole skin, and then you earn.

Speaker 6 (15:26):
Your little fun sized buddy your performance as you're walking up,
like if you're Spider Man, I want to see you're
shooting the webs, doing your whatever you know and spinning.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
You get extra pieces of candy if there's you know,
choreography that goes with the costume, exactly right, any special effects. Guys,
you have anything to show me, that's another thing you do.
That's another thing, right, you want to you want to dance? Performance?

(15:57):
More candy that way. I think it's funny. I've never
one time been like the only thing is you got
to be a kid, that's the only thing. And people
haven't come to I haven't lived in a place where
people come in a very long time.

Speaker 9 (16:13):
Please say that other one.

Speaker 1 (16:18):
I mean, it's true though, it's true on many it's
true on many levels.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Why not that sounds like a sad place.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
To live in houses and some of you live in apartments.
Do some original will come? It's so weird occasionally? Do
yet for Halloween? Trigger treats come to your apartment.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
They have like a little event.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
So it's not like, yes, we don't have that. You
have to like sign up and then you have to
get like a letter for your door, and then it's
I don't.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
It's just I can't imagine. I wouldn't sign up if
I were you. I don't know. I feel like, can
you hand out candy as like a man?

Speaker 1 (17:00):
It's so weird. I'm just gonna push something I don't know.
You know, here, I am trying to be part of
the community. And I mean, if I lived in a neighborhood,
I would really.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
As like just a man who lives there by himself
is a stranger.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
If I don't, isn't it more weird if I just
stay in the house and don't open the door. If
I was.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
A grown man and I didn't have kids, I wouldn't
like interacted them.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
I'm serious.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
I feel like I would participate in the community, like
if everybody else was right. It's more concerning if you
don't answer the door, as if you're not allowed to
or something like that.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
Just a question. No, I think your kids.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
I also think my neighbors would know me and the
kids would know me, you know, never go outside.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
And then I'd be like, there's that guy's house who
doesn't go outside.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
I think I think if I lived in a community,
I would go outside, which is why I don't live
in a community because I you know, I don't want
to have to do the thing where I pull in
my driveway. Hey, hey John, how's it going. How's everything
going at the plant or whatever? You know, it's like
oh yeah, and then you get caught in the driveway
every single time. Does this happening? You're waving, Yeah, you're
talking to people. I want to say, you pull in

(18:10):
your garage and close it before you get out of
the car. I just say, aren't there sometimes that you
don't want to talk to people? And you you can't
not if you? If you, I would imagine in that environment,
it's hard to get away from that.

Speaker 6 (18:24):
Yes, Mike will be like no, turn like we always
go like one way down the block, and like no,
so and so is out, Like turn around and go
the other way. So we'll like drive out of our
way because he doesn't even want to wave and look
at the first.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Like the true sanitarys king.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
Yah, I don't mind it, but like waving like you
don't want to wave.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
No, I know.

Speaker 8 (18:43):
I talked to the kids of the ring camera like
one piece of candy at a time.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
Stop it.

Speaker 9 (18:50):
You sit in your house and talk to them on
the ring camera so that moments.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Goes, get off my get away.

Speaker 3 (18:57):
My dog is barking, my smoke.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
You couch talking phone. You're sitting like, why is the
lady on the couch talking to us through the phone?

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Scram get out of here. You do not do that,
I do you don't sit outside. I'm girl. If that's
I don't have that many you know, trick or treaters
that come by.

Speaker 8 (19:18):
So the ones that do, I sit there and watch them,
and I'm like, okay, and if they're cute, I'll say
something nice. But if they them costumes, not hitting them
like one piece.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
Of candy, slacker, you're gonna get the house.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
You don't even you're in the house.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
You leave entered the door.

Speaker 8 (19:33):
That's that's protocol. I don't open the door for anybody.
I'm here to your house too.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
If one of the kids like took half the like
took half the you know bowl or something and yell
through my rienkill, that's gonna do a lot of good.
You wouldn't even get up and chase after that kid.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
I'm not chasing.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
These kids are crazy.

Speaker 3 (19:51):
I'm not chasing these kids. They're gonna beat me up.

Speaker 1 (19:56):
You know, you guys are not selling community at all.
You're really about National Dessert Day, National Chocolate Covered Insects Day,
National beet bald and be Free Day come, and National
Real Sugar Day today. Yes, two things. Do we have
a tally on Jason on the NFL picks? How'd you do.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
Seven and fifteen?

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Oh? Just wait seven? No, wouldn't be seven and fifteen.
He got seven out of fifteen.

Speaker 8 (20:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
I still don't know how to say the score. You
try to tell me every week. I don't twenty eight.

Speaker 1 (20:27):
Name or something. No, So you get seven correct out
of fifteen? Yes, okay, so you were seven and fifteen. Yeah,
a little over half. No, you weren't. No, you were
seven and eight. You were seven and eight is what
you were. You got seven right and eight wrong, So
you were seven and eight. The other thing is, as
it pertains to like men giving out candy or like

(20:47):
men giving up gifts. I've seen on TikTok and whatever
and my friends in the aviation industry will say that
people will come on the plane and they will give
the crew, the flight attendants like like chocolate or gift
or something when they first get on the plane. And
I guess, you know, it's a nice thing to do obviously,
but I let's face it, people are hoping for something.

(21:08):
They're hoping for free drink or they're hoping for you know,
better service or whatever. But like, as a grown man,
if I walk on a plane in hand a group
of women candy bars, like does that like I'm doing
it because I've saw on TikTok, but that they like
that and it's a nice thing to do. I don't
want anything for it, but like I think it's a
weird gesture for a grown man to do that.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
What about like a little Starbucks a gift card or something?

Speaker 1 (21:32):
But still like if I'm giving people presents, you know,
like I don't know, doesn't that seem like I don't know?

Speaker 3 (21:38):
What can you do as a man?

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Are you being serious?

Speaker 3 (21:41):
I'm so serious because I overthink this is crazy.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
Like I'm not I'm not suggesting it's difficult to be
a man for one second, but I do like this
is something I think about this all the time.

Speaker 8 (21:51):
Yeah, you should, because if you can to me a
candy bar on a random Tuesday and I didn't know you,
I probably would be like, what is this.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
Crazy, Charlie Walker, this is it's Halloween, he was saying.
But then it was like if and then Kingle's going, well,
if I were a single man, I wouldn't head out
candy and Halloween. Well I would because I'm not. I'm
certainly not going to be the weirdo that dozen, especially
if I'm sitting in my house Kiki, which sort of
through your ring camera screaming a people. People are probably

(22:19):
afraid of you as your house doesn't get an entertainer
report is on the fresh Field papers to expensive.

Speaker 2 (22:26):
It is weird though that like if a single man
is like handing out candy on any other night, That's
what I'm saying.

Speaker 8 (22:32):
It's an issue, like it's you're trying to poison me,
You're trying to Halloween.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
Were like, what all rules are out the window?

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Yes, like take candy from strangers, talk to strangers, go
to strangers' homes.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Well, I would imagine in this day and age, like
if I were the guy in the block that never
came out of my house, and no one ever talked
to me. I wouldn't think that they'd send their kids
there on Halloween, you know, I would think they just
skipped the house.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
Yeah, I'm saying, you got you had to get outside,
and like right, but like I run your God.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Yeah, but I'm not going to be the weirdo who
does never come out of mike howse if I lived
in a community, because you just can't. I don't think
you can get away with that. So yeah, so I
would hand out candy because I'd be a known entity,
and I'd have the best candy because I don't have
kids to put through college. So that's how I think
about a lot of expenditures. Like for my niece, it's like, yeah,
go ahead and get the extra large one. Go ahead
and get the mega jumbo, huge, whatever, lego, get the

(23:19):
biggest one. I don't care. I don't have to pay
for college.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
As long as you have cocktails for the adults. I
love houses.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
I do that like a Margarina machine or something. Yeah. Oh,
and all of a sudden, no, wait, you're never getting
real social Okay, love that.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Now you're really trying to take me down. Well, it's
not for the kids.

Speaker 5 (23:33):
Well, no, if you offered me a drink, then I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
Oh, here we go.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Oh I'll take anything from a man.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
Yeah, I don't care, take it away case, Okay, I
got you. So remember way back after the last Super
Bowl when Stephen A. Smith had some very strong words
or opinions about Serena Williams joining Kendrick Lamar on stage. Now,
remember this was like the height of the Drake Kendrick beef,
which is one of the reasons that Kendrick had Serena

(24:01):
dancing with him on stage because she dated Drake. Well
at the time, Stephen said, if I'm your husband, I'm thinking,
why are you up there trolling him, trolling your ex?
If I'm married and my wife is going to troll
her ex, go back to his ass because clearly you
don't belong with me.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
He even said that he would divorce his wife over this.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
While the stars aligned and Serena's husband, Alexis, was on
First Take a few days ago, and he used the
opportunity to have a little chat with Steven.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Wow.

Speaker 12 (24:28):
Also to Steve and I Swift, you had some I
think you had some marriage advice for me.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
All right, Well, you know what I did it people,
you know, head loads of headlines.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
We can get into it at another time. But I
was hoping. I was hoping you were. I was hoping
you're gonna be here.

Speaker 7 (24:43):
But oh I'm not.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
Oh no, no, I am not qualified.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
Oh no, not me, my brother.

Speaker 13 (24:50):
I was.

Speaker 12 (24:51):
I was gonna ask you because if you hadn't been
married before, right, I am married?

Speaker 3 (24:55):
No?

Speaker 12 (24:55):
No, okay, okay, okay, yeah, because I give advice to them.
Plenty of founders who want to build billion dollar companies.
And the reason I do that is because I build
billion dollar companies. So I generally try to stay in
my lane advice that we'll talk.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Marriage advice later. Thirteen years song We Got.

Speaker 8 (25:10):
You alexis sudden two night event in New York.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
A few layers of flex that was I'm richer than you, period,
I'm more successful than you. And and don't be talking
about said that, you don't know, keep my name out
of your mouth.

Speaker 14 (25:27):
I thought it was classy. I loved how he defended
his wife. And I don't know, I see what you're
going to talk all that snack. Then you can't do
that when the guy's sitting across from you. But you
had to know there was a chance that was going
to come up.

Speaker 13 (25:42):
So for he.

Speaker 1 (25:45):
Come on, no, come on, man, like you say all
that stuff when when these people aren't there, then you know,
if they're sitting right there, then you gotta you gotta
be ready for that.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
It wasn't headline, honey, it was not clickbait. You very
clearly said if that was your girl, you would leave her, right,
so stand on it.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
Yeah, just say that like I wouldn't like it, And
I mean, what can you say? Oh, you're insecure, You're okay,
I said it so fun. Just I really wouldn't like
that if it were my wife, I wouldn't.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
You don't have to.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
There's only not much argument there.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
But and the poor woman who was like in between them,
like I'll give you marriage advice later, like she was
just trying to get them.

Speaker 3 (26:20):
From Kevin beefing. I felt bad for her.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
But yeah, and he got all his money Serena's husband.
I think he co founded Reddit, right, so he he
certainly is.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
All right, it's all right, people know what that is.

Speaker 3 (26:30):
Yeah, Okay, bad do a Lipa brought out lead singer
of Green Day Giky, Who is it? Do a Lipa?
Brought out Green, lead singer of Green Day.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
You know you got to share from target. He's right there.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
I called him green Okay, you call.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Him call him Billy from people call him Billy.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
Yeah, he's very tiny.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
He does have pretty green eyes for a cover Wake
me Up when September end. So they did that over
the week, and she's been bringing out a ton of
people on her Radical Optimism tour. This time it was
in San Francisco. Didn't somebody bring out the chicks as well?
I saw somebody somewhere dead. I can I can tell
you guys, next hour and really quick. John Mayer is

(27:15):
dating a very big TikToker.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
Do you know Kat Stickler. She's hot, She's super hot.
She she's the one who makes fun of her Latina mom.
She makes an impression of her. She was dating someone
who was on the Bachelor, and now she's dating John Mayer.
Apparently it's not serious. Well, if you're dating.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
Though, they went on like two nights dates each night consecutively. Yeah,
like that's because yeah, because I talked to John about it.
She's hot, That's how I know she is.

Speaker 3 (27:48):
She's very funny too. So he's been talking about how
he's ready to fall in love.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
We'll see, but I don't know if he is actually
ready to be in a committed relationship.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
But congrats the can.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
She always seems to go and I don't don't follow her.
I see her stuff. I don't no reason why I
don't follow her. I don't think it's really targeted for me.
But but she she tends to go like all in
on on who she's dating, and then they tend to
kind of fizzle because I think she was married.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
We first met her.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
When she was like a combo deal.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Yeah, well she it was an unplanned pregnancy with the
dude she was with.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
They tried to make it work. It wasn't like a
situations older. She was like sure, she wanted to be
with him forever. They tried to make it work, they
had to break up, okay, and then she dated a dude,
Jason Tartick, who used to be with Caitlyn Bristow. He
was on the Bachelor Bachelorette, that whole thing.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
And now she is.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
Yeah, but she's gone in deep a couple of times.
It's like, this is why I don't talk about these things. Yeah,
she very much pushed I'll probably be married for I
think three years before I'll tell anybody.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
I think it's smart, honestly, seriously, like I think.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
I'm gonna pull akiki. I'm gonna do the whole thing
and not tell anybody, and then some little kid's gonna
walk in and be like, hey dad, oh yeah I
did that too, by the way, I would love yeah, yeah,
but that's no, that's not happening. What's not happening with
the kid part of it? But no, it's the only thing.
I think she's funny. But I've also watched her cry
over like four different men hysterically, and it's like, well,

(29:07):
why don't we maybe know what's just like do our
thing for a while, And maybe we don't. We don't
you know, hard launch everybody.

Speaker 3 (29:14):
Maybe you know, I think she should postman ever.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
But maybe like maybe we don't do that, and then
and then if it's like really rock solid, but then
the problem is if it's not really rock solid, then
you post, and then you know, you got that exposure.
And we've had this conversation before. It's like people that
don't do this for a living, like you know, you
don't actually really want the attention. Let me assure you
people in the comment section. Are not nice? People in
my face?

Speaker 11 (29:36):
Are not.

Speaker 13 (29:39):
Or not?

Speaker 2 (29:40):
By the way, if you want to catch up on
the show, The Fred Show on demand on the free
iHeartRadio app, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
These are the radio blogs on the flood writing in
our diaries, except we say them a load. We call
them blogs. Kiki, Yo, you witnessed a uh you witnessed
a historic moment?

Speaker 11 (29:55):
Man.

Speaker 5 (29:56):
Yeah, And I didn't want to so deer blog.

Speaker 8 (29:59):
Yesterday, I was bored and Dilly and Daly, and that's
what I try to do when we have days off
or on the weekend. And I went by my sister's
house just to Dilly and Daly, just to see what
she's up to, go bother her, stress her out of
my wedding stuff. And I pull up and my nephew
before I can even get in the house, he's at
my car, and I'm like, what do you want?

Speaker 3 (30:18):
And he's like, can you take me and my girlfriend
to the racing place?

Speaker 1 (30:22):
How is he?

Speaker 5 (30:23):
Sixteen?

Speaker 1 (30:24):
Sixteen? Yes, I we get some driver's license.

Speaker 8 (30:29):
He's working on that, which I'm not rushing that either.
I don't get that either, all right, So I was like, okay,
and he was like, I'm like, so, y'all going on
like a date? And he's like yeah, like can you
take us to the racing place? So I'm like, okay,
you know sure?

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Now is that you pick up? Drop off? Paid for? Also,
so here's the thing. How crafty is this? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (30:51):
I didn't know how it was going to go.

Speaker 8 (30:53):
So first of all, the girlfriend came out of the house,
which I was like, oh, okay, she's hanging out.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
Okay, So they came and they got in the car.

Speaker 8 (31:00):
She's very polite, very beautiful little girl, and they get
in the back, and so I was wondering, like, is
he gonna sit in the front or is she gonna
sit in the front, or how does that work? Like
a true gentleman, he sat in the back with her.
So now I'm their chauffeur. You're an uber driver now,
so I'm like, okay, where would you like to go?
So he gives me the address and I'm like driving,

(31:20):
but I'm just wondering how is this gonna work? So
I pull up to the place and they got out
and she both said thank you. I watch him he
rushes to the door.

Speaker 13 (31:29):
I know.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
I was so proud, like that's my boy.

Speaker 8 (31:31):
He opened the door for you know, they walk in,
and so I'm like, okay, I'm gonna sit here for
a minute just to see because I'm like, he didn't
ask for money, he didn't try to text me on
the low.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
I'm like, he must have his own money, okay.

Speaker 8 (31:43):
So I sit there and then I pull off and
I get a call and he's like, Auntie, can you
come back because we need a eight somebody eighteen to
sign the waiver so we can do the rest.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
So I'm like, oh my god, he still needs me.
So I turn around.

Speaker 8 (31:58):
I'm so excited to go in and you know, get
them all situated, and I'm just waiting, like, please ask
me for some money because I need you to need me,
because I don't like that you don't need me. And
sure enough, the late the total was like one hundred
something bucks. He pulled down his little money at two
fifty dollars.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
Bills sixteen years old, taking one hundred dollars days where
to get the money from.

Speaker 5 (32:18):
He worked with his uncle a few days before the job.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
He won't let him have.

Speaker 5 (32:22):
Well, I love him working with his with my brother
with uncle.

Speaker 8 (32:26):
I don't want him to work at the local restaurant
because I know what happens at the local restaurant on
breaks and stuff, you know.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
But yeah, so he he pulled out his Jason Break.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
Your experience, man, be a little different than some Jason
your experience most places is a little different than freaky
though it's a bar, it's a freaky place.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
Yes, yes, I know from KFC experience.

Speaker 15 (32:51):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
So he busted out one hundred bucks to pay for this.
Wow hundred bucks.

Speaker 8 (32:54):
So then I'm like, okay, I'll go get my nails
done and then maybe they'll be ready for me to
pick them up. So I go and in my nails
and he calls. He's like, okay, we're ready. So I
go back and get them and I'm like, okay, cool.
It's about six o'clock in the evening. That's I think
that's time to go home. And everybody go back and
get ready for school.

Speaker 3 (33:10):
This man gets in the.

Speaker 8 (33:11):
Car and he's like, oh, next stop, please, can you
take us to Buffalo Wildwin?

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (33:16):
He had more money. He had more money.

Speaker 8 (33:19):
What is.

Speaker 13 (33:21):
It?

Speaker 1 (33:21):
What is the landscaping place or whatever?

Speaker 5 (33:24):
It's the Honey Company, you know, my brother, Honey company.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Yeah, I gotta put a bee suit on how much money?

Speaker 8 (33:31):
Man, this is flush he is, And so I took
them to Buffalo Wild Wings and sure enough they got
out and they were on their way.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
Do you offer to buy you anything?

Speaker 3 (33:41):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
That would have been an extra step for the driver.

Speaker 8 (33:46):
Yes, But I just I can't believe it, just seeing
him at this stage and like he's maturing and he's
he's just so responsible. And you know, the girlfriend, like
it's just it's so weird, but it's so, I don't know,
you like her.

Speaker 7 (34:00):
I like her.

Speaker 5 (34:01):
Yeah, she's a good girl. I like her a lot.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
So I didn't have one hundred bucks for anything when
I was sixteen, No, I know, one hundred dollars dates.

Speaker 8 (34:09):
That was splitting dates with me and we were going
to like the problem part you were, Yeah, we'd go
to like a park, like I don't know what we
would do, like the entertainment was just like going anywhere
we could to make out like that was it?

Speaker 1 (34:21):
Honestly, we could like go to the mall and walk
it right exactly there is. Yeah, there is no money
like that, No way. I might have had twenty bucks maybe,
you know, to go like.

Speaker 5 (34:30):
Date though, What was the first date you took a girl.
Long were you twenty.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Oh, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
I'd have to think about it. But my parents wanted
me to have girlfriends and stuff, like they were like,
we'll pay for your dates if you'll go on them. Yeah,
you know, well because they don't want to have any money,
like in college, they were like, you can take it,
take her to dinner, like, we'll get because they didn't
want me to have a job. So it was so
I'm like, well, what do you want me to do
about this, you know, and they're like, well, we want
you to have a girlfriend. So like, well, by the way,

(34:57):
you could see investment in the future because twenty five
years later and work. I would do the same thing
for my kids though, like because I get it, you know,
something like that is you don't have a hundred bucks
to do that, right, I mean unless you're working, which
is awesome, but like, I don't know, I guess i'd
probably I'd probably kick my kids some money to do
that stuff, especially if I wasn't gonna let him work, right, Yeah,

(35:20):
I wasn't making that blockbuster money for another year or so,
and then that was when I was just rolling.

Speaker 5 (35:24):
You'd take them to the nice spot.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
Oh, you know, we go to Rby's instead of Yeah,
we go to we go to Applebee's instead of subway
or something like we elevated, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (35:35):
Yeah, what was the first day that you went on
Begar's Pizza?

Speaker 1 (35:38):
It was with Big ten? Was it seven and a
half years ago? Stay or go? It's nice more Freas show. Next,

I can, and I did. And there you are, morning everyone, Tuesday,
October fourteenth, It's a Fred Show. Hi, Kaylin, Hello there,
Jason Browan, Hi, Paulina Hikki, Good morning, Shelby Shelley three
point fifty In the showdown to beginning, a snap of
four game win streak and her lost number seventy five
all time. That money is your stay, Gooble debates your
relationship drama. Just a second, The Entertainment Report is coming

(39:35):
up this hour and we're commercial free forty five minutes
no commercials. What are you working on?

Speaker 2 (39:40):
K directshot from Miss Charlie XCX to Taylor over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (39:44):
Taylor might be planning something in return. Also, we got
to talk about Brian Branch of the Detroit lions.

Speaker 1 (39:51):
It's stay or go all right, Kayla is here? Good morning, Kayla?
How you doing? Hi?

Speaker 7 (39:58):
Good morning, and well how are you, Heyla, Welcome.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
To the program. Doing great. So you reached out to
us about your fiance. You guys you met a few
years ago. And while we're getting into some financial territory
here too. This is god. You know, this is a
place to come for any sort of cryptocurrency news and advice.

(40:22):
On the pulse of the market. Kiki is on the
pulse of all things financial. So what's going on with
this guy?

Speaker 4 (40:30):
Well, I appreciate you taking my call. Listen. So a
few years ago, I was, you know, mayan fiance and
I were doing a lot of research. Well he mostly
he was doing research on bitcoin and he seemed to know,
like really what he was doing with it, and so
we decided to invest a lot of a fair amount

(40:52):
of money.

Speaker 7 (40:54):
On bitcoin.

Speaker 4 (40:55):
We went fifty to fifty and he said that he
was going to do well, he said, to grow it
in the future.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
You said, a few years ago you did this, Yeah, yeah,
you richerange girl. Okay, Well, so yeah, that's my financial
that's that's that's how I feel about that. Financially as
your advisor girl, you rig ridge anyway, Okay, so years
ago you invested in this fifty to fifty then.

Speaker 7 (41:17):
What okay, so, which you know, that's also what I thought.

Speaker 4 (41:24):
But so, okay, we're getting married and like, as you know,
weddings are super expensive and at the moment, we're pretty overbudget.
And so I asked him, you know, like, hey, what
about the bitcoin? Could we use some of that to
pay to the venue? And my fance reacted really weirdly,

(41:44):
and so like it took you know, I kind of
prodded him about it, and then he finally told me
that when he checked on our you know, on our account,
it had grown a lot and obviously and then he
can sit out and used it to pay apparently some
of our bills and then apparently also a vacation that

(42:07):
we took and I.

Speaker 3 (42:09):
Had I had no idea.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
And so how much you invested, But since in the
last five years it's up one thousand percent, So whatever
you invested, it was a ten x. Like whatever you
put in. I mean, that's we're not talking about I
don't know how many coin you have or whatever, but
like we're not talking about an insignificant amount of money
that he apparently decided to delegate to something else. I

(42:35):
mean we're talking probably tens of thousands of dollars.

Speaker 7 (42:38):
Well yeah, yeah, exactly, Okay, yeah, and apparently it's all gone.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
All it's all gone or like some of the inkrey,
he spent all of it. And you know what, that's
also a question that I have, you know, I mean,
because if you bought one one coin is with one
hundred and something thousand dollars, I think I haven't looked recently.
Let me see you what is one coin worth one bitcoin?

Speaker 3 (43:06):
My brain just like automatically shuts off. I don't understand,
like I want to.

Speaker 1 (43:09):
Understand bitcoin value one hundred and eleven thousand dollars today.

Speaker 3 (43:13):
I wish I could get it same.

Speaker 1 (43:15):
Why was I could have gone in ten years ago
one hundred and ten grand anyway, So if you don't,
so he took he took money that is both of yours,
that he has access to you. He spent it on
things that are for both of you. But he did
it without asking you if that's what you wanted to
spend it on. Yeah, huh, Now, why didn't you have

(43:37):
access if you put half the money in and it
was growing at the rate that it was growing. And
I'm sure you sort of out of the corner of
your eye were watching this because you can't really miss
that that, you know, crypto is has been pretty vollatile.
So I mean, why why did you not ask for
access to this account too so you could look at it?
Because I think I would, you know, if I put
half of some an investment in and there was a

(43:57):
way to look at it, I'd probably you know, take
a little look see every now and again.

Speaker 4 (44:01):
But no, you know, I I hear you there, and
that's the way that I wish I would have gone
about it. But I guess I kind of in my
mind was sort of going about.

Speaker 3 (44:13):
It in like sort of like a traditional way and.

Speaker 4 (44:17):
Was sort of like, well, you know, I'm going to
be with this man, and I trust him, and you know,
he said, you want to take care of our finances.
So I just kind of, now that it's coming out
of my mouth, I kind of did, like blindly trusted
him with my money, and I feel.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
Like a fool. Now let me ask you this, Kayla,
because why I'm sorry, I continue I apologize. Well, just
now here, I am on a.

Speaker 4 (44:46):
Radio show on you about how my money was taken
away from PEO.

Speaker 1 (44:49):
Well, there was nothing to be a radio show for advice,
there's absolutely nothing. This is what we do and there's
nothing shameful here. But I guess you didn't do anything wrong.
But where did you think the money was coming from
to pay off these joint bills slash go on vacation?
So like, if not from there, did you just think

(45:10):
he had? You just saw he had enough money to
pay for this stuff and didn't even consider that he
was dipping into that fund.

Speaker 4 (45:18):
I didn't think much about the expenses. Like, we we
both have good jobs, we both work full time. He
does make more than me, and so I honestly I
didn't I didn't think anything of it. It never crossed
my mind.

Speaker 1 (45:34):
Huh, Yeah, this is this is interesting because like maybe
you wouldn't have gone on the vacation or chosen to
pay the bills if you had known that this was happening,
because you were counting on this money for something else,
So you know what I mean. Like, so this guy's like, yeah,
we can go on vacation, Sure, I got you, or
let's go on vacation. Then he pays for it. But
if you had in my mind, if I'm with someone

(45:57):
and they say, hey, let's go on vacation, I'll cover it,
then you've got the money to pay for that. If
we're going into our savings to pay for it, that's
a different conversation that we have to have together exactly,
because then you have to ask yourself, is this vacation
worth it? Are these Is this the financially responsible thing
to do to pay these bills off? Right now? You
know there's a lot that goes into that. So I mean,

(46:18):
you had a right to know when the money that
you that's half yours, was being spent. In hell, in
my opinion, you had every right to know, even if
it benefited you.

Speaker 4 (46:28):
But he says that he.

Speaker 3 (46:30):
Used it on stuff for us.

Speaker 7 (46:32):
And so he's like, he doesn't.

Speaker 4 (46:34):
I guess he's at a point where he doesn't understand
why I'm so mad about it.

Speaker 1 (46:39):
I would also ask for a full accounting. I would
I would ask like, okay, great, so you spent all
of our bitcoin, which again I don't know how many
you had, if it was one or a part of
one or whatever, but we're not We're talking about probably
tens of thousands of dollars and a big increase over
when you bought it five years ago, so there was
a fair amount of money there. So I think i'd
also be like, hey, let me see where you spent it,
because that's a lot of I mean, I don't know

(47:01):
what kind of vacation you went on or what these
bills were, but like, unless it was a lot, then
I think he's I don't know where.

Speaker 8 (47:09):
I don't know where he's taking care of another family
on his status, and.

Speaker 1 (47:12):
I'd like to know, boy eight five five five three
five you guys, I'd love to hear what you have
to say about this. I don't think you can trust
this guy. He's it's not for him to go spend
joint funds without talking to you. And then I also
think he spent all of it, like where did it go?
Let's see?

Speaker 4 (47:33):
Yeah, yeah, well, and I'm really at a point I
just I don't know if I really can marry someone
who's such a.

Speaker 1 (47:39):
Good liar, Like, yeah, I don't and and so and
in his counterargument as well, I spent it on you,
Well did you? Okay? Fine, all right, Well maybe we
didn't have as much as I thought him. It just
showed me but then it's like, but I also didn't authorize.
I didn't know this is we were spending that money
on this. Now in your mind it was this was
going to be the wedding. Well now we don't have

(48:01):
any money for the wedding. Now what are we supposed
to do? So yeah, this is all very shady to me, Cayle.
I'm gonna take some phone calls to see what people
have to say. I have a good day and good luck.
All right, yeah you got it. These guys co invested
in some crypto five years ago. It is worth a
bunch of money. She wants to know where it is
now because they're planning a wedding. And he says, oh,
I spent it on our vacation. I spent it on

(48:22):
some bills already. But you were there and they were
your bills. So hey, it's all good, right, But like, no,
not right, I mean we're it was half my money,
so we're half. I get half vote in how we spent.
And by the way, whose bills? Your bills? My bills? Right?

Speaker 5 (48:39):
You know, where are the receipts?

Speaker 8 (48:41):
I need to see exactly what you need a breakdown
of where the money went and what's in your account
right now? Because why did you need to dip into
our savings if we both are working right now?

Speaker 3 (48:50):
Like, what do you have going on?

Speaker 8 (48:51):
Are you gambling on the side, you got a drug problem,
you got a family? What's going on? And girl, I
believe everything happens for a reason. So the fact that
you're finding this out before the wedding and is stopping
your wedding planning might be a sign.

Speaker 1 (49:04):
Yeah, Marvin, Hi, Marvin, how you doing? Hey Marvin, Hello Marvin?
What what do you you hear this this scenario? What
do you think?

Speaker 8 (49:14):
Run for the hills?

Speaker 1 (49:15):
Yes, right, you gotta go, Like where doll this money go?
My thing is if he is willing to just go
behind her back, use the money and not even tell her, Hey,
I'm did to get to this and how and just
gonna do it willy nelly whatever the word. Yeah, yeah, there.

Speaker 9 (49:37):
He will.

Speaker 1 (49:37):
He is there that he is willing to do it
again and not feel like a shame about it. So
she should run run for the hills. And like, why
wouldn't you discuss that. Why wouldn't you say, like, hey,
we had a chance to pay off a big chunk
of our debt and we can go on this cool vacation.
Well maybe maybe outside of savings, you can't afford the vacation, right,
Like maybe that money was supposed to be over here,

(49:57):
It wasn't to be spent that way. But you and
I guess you could say Kayla should have asked that question, well,
where'd you come up with this money to buy you know,
this trip or whatever? But maybe I don't know, maybe
in her mind he makes enough money for this, So
where's that money? Then where's the money? Mar It's someone
to pay for a trip for me. I'm not asking
where the money's coming from. I'm going on a free trip. Yeah, yeah, I.

Speaker 7 (50:19):
Don't care to.

Speaker 1 (50:21):
Thank you, Marvin, have a good day.

Speaker 3 (50:23):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
I agree with you. And you know, I don't like
to go to the most sinister place. I don't know
that it's infidelity per se, but like this is how
This is what happens when people are gambling. This is
what happens when people have some form of addiction. I'm
not saying he does. I don't know, but like this
is the kind of thing people do when they are
chasing debts or you know something. Well, we just did

(50:48):
go there. We just went it to mafia. We went
straight to the mafia. Hey, Rachel, hid morning, Hi, stay
goat what do you think?

Speaker 3 (50:57):
Absolutely?

Speaker 13 (50:57):
Go?

Speaker 3 (50:58):
She needs to run.

Speaker 16 (50:59):
He has shown her everything she needs to see. It's
super unfortunate to have lost everything, but if he's been
sloppy with his money and communication right off the bat,
he has shown her everything she needs to see.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
Yeah, I need to see this account. Like me personally,
I need to see this account, Like I want to
see where it all went, mean, because it would be
pretty clear. I mean, if you had I don't know,
tens of thousands, and I'm making this up, but if
you had tens of thousands of dollars, like where did
it all go? Like what kind of trip did you take?
Like we went to Saint Louis Man, like you know,
like how you spend that much?

Speaker 16 (51:31):
I was so exciting these days. It would have been
way more clout to say that he had crypto then
he went to Hawaii or wherever.

Speaker 11 (51:37):
He was.

Speaker 1 (51:38):
Well, yeah, thank you, Rachel, have a good day.

Speaker 16 (51:42):
Thanks so much?

Speaker 1 (51:43):
Is it Naim? Is that right? Yes? Sir? Hey, good morning,
Brad stare go.

Speaker 13 (51:50):
Go?

Speaker 1 (51:52):
Why oh I think she?

Speaker 11 (51:55):
Uh?

Speaker 17 (51:56):
He did not communicate well enough in regards of making
this decision. I feel like this is a you know,
a marriage decision or if he has a decision regardless,
like you know, it's still a relationship decision. And if
for whatever reason, you know, he's saying he did what
he did, like I was, if I was sure, I
would ask for like some kind of receipts.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
Yeah, oh yeah, you know, like some kind of proof,
like all.

Speaker 17 (52:18):
Right, you say you did this, but can you can
you back it up?

Speaker 1 (52:22):
Yeah? Like I'd like to see what debt we don't
have anymore? Like, well, that's good. What bills am I
paying that I don't need to be paying anymore because
you paid him up exactly. Thank you for calling. Have
a great day. Thank you, guys, appreciate you listening to.

Speaker 3 (52:34):
Hey, Sheila, good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 1 (52:37):
Guys, Hey, good mornings. There go go leave with shobridleheels home.

Speaker 11 (52:46):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (52:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (52:48):
The biggest thing out of all this, honestly, is that
he hit it. If it wasn't for her inquiring about it,
because she was asking about using the fund for something else,
for venue, he wouldn't even told her wants to be
married to somebody like that. That's I'm sane, Like when
somebody shows you who you are, believe him.

Speaker 7 (53:07):
He showed you who he was.

Speaker 11 (53:08):
You know how many marriages and from finances.

Speaker 1 (53:12):
Please don't do that.

Speaker 4 (53:14):
Leave.

Speaker 1 (53:14):
And he had to know he was doing something wrong
because he knew a wedding's come. Mean, they're engaged, so
he knew a wedding is forthcoming. Where was where was
the money going to come from for that? If they're
planning a wedding, if not for this slush fund that
they thought they had, Like, I don't know this is fair.
And if he had tons of money saved himself or something,
well then he can just recoup the account. But it

(53:35):
sounds like he doesn't.

Speaker 17 (53:37):
And supposedly he makes more than her.

Speaker 3 (53:40):
Then what was he doing with his money?

Speaker 1 (53:42):
That's when he wakes right, exactly. His money's funny.

Speaker 3 (53:45):
Now where's his money?

Speaker 15 (53:47):
Right? Everybody's money funny? Now whatever he does, Like when
you're married, you're one unit. But whatever that man is doing,
she has to deal with it. No, no, no, no no,
This wasn't nobody but Jesus saving her.

Speaker 3 (54:01):
Thank you you do it.

Speaker 11 (54:02):
Sometimes sadness turns into protection.

Speaker 1 (54:05):
Hey, all right, thank you word. She did a drop
drop the mic. We'll leave it right there Caitlin's Entertainment Report,
and he's on the Bread Show.

Speaker 2 (54:16):
Role Model was the musical guest on SNL Over the Weekend,
hosted by Amy Poehler, And if you didn't know, he's
a dude that sings the song Sally when the wine runs.

Speaker 3 (54:26):
Out, really popular on TikTok.

Speaker 2 (54:28):
It's also just a good song and every live performance
he picks a woman to be his Sally. Well, this
time he brought up Miss Charlie XCX, who was rocking
none other than a shirt that says Kansas City on it.
It says Max's Kansas City more specifically, which many are
taking as a direct shot at.

Speaker 3 (54:48):
Taylor Swift, her fiance plays for the Chiefs. YadA YadA.

Speaker 2 (54:51):
Now the shirt, I have to say, was worn by
role Model during SNL promos. His album is called Kansas Anymore,
and there also used to be an nightclub and restaurant
in New York called Maxis Kansas City. Of course, though
I mean, Charlie's been in the headlines after people think
she responded to some feelings that she had in private
over Taylor Swift on her new album The Life of

(55:13):
a Showgirl. So I think if she didn't want people
to think that it was a direction. I think she
wouldn't wear the shirt, but I'm not sure. You know
who is the musical guest on SNL this coming weekend, though,
Sabrina Carpenter. Lots of people online are convinced that Miss
Taylor will now make a cameo.

Speaker 3 (55:34):
We got real life mean girls going on here. We
got a beef. We had a good old rap beef.
Speaking of to.

Speaker 1 (55:43):
Like, Yeah, speaking of Taylor.

Speaker 3 (55:45):
She was shown for the first Chiefs game ever. You're welcome.
I think it was my good Luck Sunday.

Speaker 2 (55:51):
If you were excited about it, I'm sorry if you
were not excited about that. But she was with none
other than the w NBA's mimss Caitlin Clark. She brought
her to the game as well, just like two very
tall women, lanky tall women celebrating in that sweet elsewhere
during that game, though, well it was after the game,
I should say, Lions safety Brian Branch smacked Juju Smith
Schuster in the mouth.

Speaker 3 (56:11):
Did you see this?

Speaker 2 (56:12):
After getting upset over a block that went down? The
girls were fighting earlier in the evening. They tussled on
the field in her Chief shirt and she knocked them
both out. They tessled on the field before players from
both sides broke things up. He is now slated to
miss Detroit's upcoming Monday night football matchup with the Buccaneers.

(56:33):
The league announced yesterday that banning him without cost for
one game, calling his actions aggressive and entirely unwarranted. I
don't know, Oh, actually I do know. He plans to appeal,
so I don't know what they'll do with that. I
certainly understand his frustration over that game because and you
can never get physical, but the Chiefs needed that game

(56:56):
to secure an easy spot in the playoffs, and I
think it was a parent that the refs also wanted
them to secure that easy spot into the playoffs. People
were tweeting about Brian Branch, the loser energy, every player
shaking hands.

Speaker 3 (57:09):
You need to give respect to your opponents.

Speaker 2 (57:11):
And of course Dan Campbell, you know, was just the
best coach ever about it and just saying we don't
condone that, and it was wrong for him to do that.

Speaker 3 (57:19):
By the way, if you missed any part.

Speaker 2 (57:21):
Of our show and you want to catch up, type
the frenchwondy man on the free iHeart Radio.

Speaker 1 (57:25):
App do you have what it takes to battle show
biz Shelley in the show Biz Showdown.

Speaker 3 (57:35):
Hi, Hello, good morning, look.

Speaker 1 (57:38):
At you on a little bit of a four game
win streak, just like that, Hey, three hundred and fifty
bucks is the prize. Nora is your challenger. Hi, Nora,
hiy Nora, good morning. Welcome. Fun fact about you, ea
is what.

Speaker 15 (57:53):
I'm a special education teacher and I have a lovely
husband at home in an eighteen month year old son.

Speaker 1 (57:59):
You are, look at you? And what's what's your husband
and your and your baby's name names? Gerald is my
husband and my son is Lucian. Wow. Okay, well hi everybody. Uh,
three point fifty one thousand and sixty eight wins, only
seventy four losses all time, four straight for Shelley. Five
pop culture questions. Let's go, guys, all right, good luck,

(58:20):
all right, good luck with all due respects. Shelley off.
She goes, sound boof, poof. She can I hear the questions?
Question number one for you, Nora. Shocking news broke over
the weekend that this First Wives Club actress passed away
at seventy nine.

Speaker 3 (58:33):
Diane Keaton, I love her.

Speaker 1 (58:35):
I know what did Taylor Swift announce on Good Morning
America yesterday.

Speaker 3 (58:42):
Three, let's she two?

Speaker 1 (58:47):
I'm speaking of Taylor, which Indiana Fever player joined her
at the Chiefs Lions game on Sunday. Caitlyn Cirk Usher
is celebrating his forty seventh birthday today. Which of these
multiple choice is not an Usher song? Closer? DJ got
Us Fallen in Love?

Speaker 3 (59:03):
You Got It bad.

Speaker 1 (59:06):
Closer? And despite rumors that they wrote things off, who
hung out with Katie Perry on her a yacht once
again fueling dating rumors? Justin shrudeout, that's a job. That
is a good score. And we'll bring Shelley back. Unlet's
see how this goes.

Speaker 3 (59:21):
How did she do?

Speaker 1 (59:22):
Four?

Speaker 3 (59:22):
Oh, she's good, Okay, and.

Speaker 1 (59:24):
She's really good. So let's see how this goes? You ready? Yes,
shocking news broke over the weekend that this First Wives
Club actress passed away at seventy nine.

Speaker 3 (59:32):
Oh donkeyton?

Speaker 1 (59:33):
Yeah? What did? Taylor Swift announce it Good Morning America yesterday.

Speaker 3 (59:38):
That she's doing like a documentary, a docu series.

Speaker 1 (59:41):
Yes, an era's to our documentary. That's correct. Speaking of Taylor,
which Indiana Fever player joined her at the Chiefs Lions
Game one Sunday, Caitlin Clark. Yes, Usher is celebrating his
forty seventh birthday today. Multiple choice, Which of these is
not an Usher song? Closer? DJ got Us Fallen in Love,
you Got It Bad? Yeah, that is a neo song

(01:00:02):
or a chain smoker song, or it could be an
other people's song. And despite rumors that they broke things off,
who hung out with Katie Perry on her yacht once
again fueling dating rumors?

Speaker 3 (01:00:13):
Justin today we.

Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
Had a big hand butt in the picture. I mean
he was really gripping onto that thing. Hang out with
your life, let me tell you. Yeah, yeah, they were
not there no diplomatic relation, Well there were some relations.
I don't know what kind of diplomacy was going on there.
But anyway, Nora, you did a great job. But she
got a five. You got a four. You have to say,

(01:00:34):
my name is Nora. I got showed up on a
showdown and you can't hang with the gorilla.

Speaker 3 (01:00:38):
Go I'm Nora. I got showed up on the showdown
and I can't hang.

Speaker 1 (01:00:43):
With the gorilla. That was good, Nora. You can't hang
with real cat, can't.

Speaker 3 (01:00:59):
Nora? You are a legend. It's nice.

Speaker 1 (01:01:06):
Oh I like care I like that. Hang on a second,
have a good day. Thanks for listening to say right there, Shelley, Yes,
do it again tomorrow four hundred number one, thy sixty
nine and five straight sounds good.

Speaker 3 (01:01:24):
Who was screaming? Oh gosh, can you hear that?

Speaker 2 (01:01:26):
Sorry?

Speaker 3 (01:01:27):
Yeah, my son is sick today.

Speaker 1 (01:01:30):
Other room you're parentating.

Speaker 3 (01:01:35):
Oh I feel so bad for it right now?

Speaker 5 (01:01:37):
Sorry about that?

Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
All right, We'll go go to the the Boy. This
is the Fred Show. Each time celebrate the holiday season
with Mariah Carey's Christmas Time in Las Vegas. It's November
twenty eight through December thirteenth, Adobe Live at Park MGM,

Waiting by the phone, Why did somebody get ghosted? That's next, headlines,
the biggest stories of the day, the fun fact and
the entertainment reports coming up. What are you working on? Key?

Speaker 2 (01:02:52):
We are talking something very scary that happened to Billie Eilish.

Speaker 1 (01:02:57):
Never been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show, Adam,
Welcome to the program. Hello, Hello, what's going on with
this woman? Jen? I gotta know? How did you meet?
Tell us about any dates you've been on, and then
what's happening now and how we can help?

Speaker 3 (01:03:14):
Okay, sounds good.

Speaker 1 (01:03:15):
I met Jen on Hinge. I think you've probably.

Speaker 7 (01:03:19):
Heard of that.

Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
Oh, I'm vaguely familiar with the The app hinge.

Speaker 13 (01:03:23):
Yeah, and I'll be honest, I thought she was hot
in her photos. So I was like, let's let's, you know,
we chat it briefly and I set up a date.
I'm pretty easy to get a we want to get
some drinks and go to a comedy show.

Speaker 1 (01:03:39):
Okay, and let's say you, by the way, on the
dating apps, that's what we're doing here. We're hot or
not on the dating apps. I mean, you know, you
can dig into the prompts in the bio if you
want to, but like, no one's looking at where you
went to college really well, and they may see if
you're hot. Like once, if I see someone i'm attracted to,
then I might read some of the words the profile,
but usually no. So you were attracted to her, and

(01:04:02):
you plan this day with an activity, even a comedy show, okay.

Speaker 18 (01:04:05):
Yeah exactly. I felt like it went really well. She
you know, we got along, we have a lot of
things in common. And I even made her laugh.

Speaker 13 (01:04:17):
You know that's always I know, that's always good if
she's laughing.

Speaker 1 (01:04:21):
Okay, So everything went really well, and I just like,
I can't.

Speaker 5 (01:04:26):
She kind of goes with me now and I'm.

Speaker 18 (01:04:29):
Like, uh wow, I can't really wrap my head around
this one.

Speaker 3 (01:04:32):
Because I didn't.

Speaker 1 (01:04:34):
I don't know what I did, made wrong or anything
like that.

Speaker 3 (01:04:37):
There was no awkward moment.

Speaker 1 (01:04:38):
Yeah, I mean, look at this guy. Look at this guy.
He you know, he matches with a woman. He plans
more than just a drink state, which I'm guilty of.
I'm so guilty of that drink state. That's what I did.
Nothing creative, Okay, No, I mean, the first date is
a drink state, but then maybe second day we include
some form of activity. But this guy, like really thought
about a comedy show, drinks. You know, he's attracted to her. Yeah,

(01:05:00):
he said, the conversation, the chemistry was good. But you
have not heard from Jen since the date. You want
to know why that would bother most people. So let's
call Let's call Jen. We're gonna see what's going on
and hopefully straightened things out and then set you guys
up on another day that we pay for. Okay, Yeah,
that's great, Adam, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:05:17):
Welcome back.

Speaker 1 (01:05:18):
Let's call Jen. You met on a dating app, you
planned a date, you went, you went to a comedy show,
you felt like the conversation was good, you were attracted
to her. You were excited to see her again for
a second date, but now you can't get a hold
of her. She's not responding to you, you're not answering
the phone, and you want to know why, Like what happened?
How do we go from a good date and now

(01:05:38):
I can't get a hold of this person?

Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:05:41):
I don't know. Yeah, all right, let's call Jen now?
Good luck at him?

Speaker 3 (01:05:45):
Thank you?

Speaker 7 (01:05:52):
Hello?

Speaker 4 (01:05:53):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (01:05:53):
Is this Jen?

Speaker 8 (01:05:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:05:56):
Jen? Hi, good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling
from the Fred Show, the morning radio show, and I
have to tell you know we are on the radio
right now and I would need your permission to continue
with the call. Can we chat for just a second
on the show? You can hang up anytime? Yeah, okay,
well good oh, thank you again. I'm gonna take that
as a guess, but we're calling on behalf of a
guy named Adam who says he matched with you recently

(01:06:18):
on a dating app and you, guys went out. Do
you remember a date with him?

Speaker 3 (01:06:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:06:23):
I do?

Speaker 1 (01:06:24):
Okay, Well, he called us and he was describing he
thought you were very attractive and he thought that he
planned a great date and he felt like the date
went well, and he said that he made you laugh,
and the conversation was good and all these things, but
he says he can't get a hold of you now
and it's bugging him. He feels like he's being ghosted.

Speaker 7 (01:06:40):
Is that was that?

Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
What is happening?

Speaker 15 (01:06:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:06:44):
Kind of. I mean, look, he seemed fun like before we.

Speaker 15 (01:06:50):
Met, everything being cool, he's been cool.

Speaker 10 (01:06:55):
I just okay.

Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
So basically he said we're.

Speaker 7 (01:06:59):
Gonna go to a collee right, was fine, comedy. Yeah,
But we get there and it's just an.

Speaker 1 (01:07:08):
Open like night and.

Speaker 7 (01:07:11):
I was like okay. Then he told me that he
was trying to like perform.

Speaker 1 (01:07:18):
In it, and then he did. Oh so this wasn't
like we didn't go see Dave Chappelle or something like,
we didn't go to We didn't go to that Nate
burgatesey or whatever guy we we you know, this was
that Sebastian maniscon like this guy he was the comedy show.

Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
Yeah, I'm already uncomfortable.

Speaker 7 (01:07:40):
Yeah, and he didn't do well, like bombed.

Speaker 1 (01:07:45):
Oh no, so he goes out there nobody laughs at him.

Speaker 7 (01:07:48):
Well, it was worse than that because people were like
shrewing him and heckling him. Like it wasn't just it
was bad like it was a sense that is, like
in what.

Speaker 1 (01:08:01):
Way it was like sexist? It was racist? Whoa, oh
cool first date. I'm going to do the comedy. I'm
going to run the chance that I bomb, and then
I'm also going to be racist and sexist in front
of this woman who I'm for whom I'm trying to
make an impression. Wow. And you said people were booing him, Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:08:20):
Yeah they were him.

Speaker 1 (01:08:22):
Somebody was throwing food at him.

Speaker 3 (01:08:27):
Wow and that great.

Speaker 11 (01:08:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:08:30):
Let me bring Adam and I forgot to mention that
Adam is here. I'm extremely forgetful and I'm sorry about that.

Speaker 3 (01:08:34):
Adam.

Speaker 1 (01:08:35):
You said you went to a comedy show. You didn't
mention that you were the comedy show.

Speaker 5 (01:08:41):
I'm here.

Speaker 7 (01:08:42):
Hey, hey, Jen, are you doing your set?

Speaker 15 (01:08:47):
Now?

Speaker 1 (01:08:48):
This is an overreaction.

Speaker 3 (01:08:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (01:08:50):
Absolutely, I was working on a new set, so like
I was just practicing by my crowd work.

Speaker 7 (01:08:56):
Yeah, it's just my might have not landed.

Speaker 1 (01:09:00):
It wasn't working with the I mean, dude, so you
go up there and tell racist and sexas jokes, you
get booed. And this is all in a first date.
I mean, I look, if you guys were married or
like knew each other, and she knew when she was
getting into That's one thing. But do you realize you
embarrassed her too? I again, overreaction.

Speaker 13 (01:09:21):
This is not my fault that the crowd her or
you don't have a good sense of humor, like dark humor.

Speaker 11 (01:09:29):
Get it.

Speaker 1 (01:09:29):
Oh, this is good, Jane. It's your fault. It's your fault.
It's the audience's fault. Look when I say something, if
you don't laugh, it's your fault.

Speaker 13 (01:09:37):
Everybody knows that what I said was regret saying all
this when I get a Netflix deal. This is just
like how Jerry Seinfeld and Dave Chappelle had to practice.

Speaker 1 (01:09:47):
Before they got really good. So I don't see the problem.
Do you think they took women to their practice sets? Maybe?
I mean maybe they didn't. They're they're funny though, Yeah,
I don't know. That's a very it's a very bold
thing to do, especially if you're if your approach he's
a little bit controversial. This is just normal stuff that

(01:10:08):
people do these days. I don't understand you, just Jen,
why it's.

Speaker 7 (01:10:12):
Just a character, Like I was just putting on a character.

Speaker 1 (01:10:16):
It's just a character, Jen, Listen to this guy.

Speaker 7 (01:10:19):
Oh a.

Speaker 3 (01:10:23):
Character?

Speaker 1 (01:10:24):
Wow? Why are we playing characters on the first date.
I was trying to get to know someone, That's what
I mean, like yourself, right, Like you plan this date
Adam to be the center of attention and the Unfortunately
you took a big gamble and you lost. Because maybe
maybe if you had gone up there and killed it,
she would have been impressed. But I also would argue
that a first date is a chance to like sit

(01:10:46):
down and talk and make it about the other person,
and you made it about you and it failed. I
didn't just get there and go up on stage. It's
the thing, Jen, you're overreacting like you had fun. I
saw you laugh. I mean, were you laughing at how
are you we laughing out of misery? Out of discomfort?
Were you laughing at him?

Speaker 7 (01:11:06):
If I was laughing at all and said, it was
because I was incredribly uncomfortable, like it is, not because.

Speaker 15 (01:11:12):
I thought it was funny.

Speaker 1 (01:11:13):
Yeah, that's a that's a pretty wild, wild move. All right. Look,
I'm gonna ask the question, Jen. I think I know
the answer. But would you enjoy going out with Adam again?
Let's say we don't do that. Let's say we actually
do like a like a dinner, and you know, we
don't do another comedy show, don't go to or something.
Yeah right, we don't do another wacky stand a bit.

Speaker 12 (01:11:32):
Yeah, I'm good.

Speaker 1 (01:11:33):
Adam. By the way, a racist and sexist. I mean, like,
why would you Why wouldn't she assume that you're not
racist and sexist if you're up there doing this stuff.
It's just a shame.

Speaker 13 (01:11:42):
And she's not sophisticated enough to get my humor.

Speaker 1 (01:11:45):
That's what it is. It's a sophistication issue.

Speaker 5 (01:11:49):
It definitely is.

Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
Okay, I would ask you for a joke, but I'm
I'm not. I'm not going to do that. No, we
really are. Actually I'm not going to put Jen through
that again. So all right, Jen's not interested. Adam. Look,
good luck out there, man. I can't wait for the special.
Let me know where it airs and the entertainment report.
He's on the fread show.

Speaker 2 (01:12:11):
Did you guys see what happened to Billie Eilish at
her show in Miami? It was crazy, So she went
into the crowd when you know, doing a little crowd
work as artists should be able to do. And that's
like very exciting for fans when someone aggressively grabbed her
and yanked her into a barricade, and then another fan intervened,
defending Billy from the attacker. As a thank you, Billy

(01:12:33):
actually sent a whole bunch of stuff to the fan
who stepped in to protect her.

Speaker 3 (01:12:37):
But like, why are we doing this to people? Girl
with the red bandana?

Speaker 10 (01:12:42):
I sound like the POV someone recorded And was it
on ticktog that she jumped in.

Speaker 3 (01:12:46):
She's weedy. Yeah, she was ready. They should hire her, Yes,
she was, she was on ready.

Speaker 2 (01:12:52):
Elsewhere, at a Katie Perry's show in London, she addressed
rumors about her relationship with Justin Trudeau, saying that she
used to fall for Englishmen all the time, but not anymore,
hinting that she's moved on to someone new. This comes
days after photos showed her and the former Canadian Prime
minister making out on her yacht. He was grabbing a
big handful of booty. As Fred pointed out, they were

(01:13:13):
in Santa Barbara and I guess her yacht was near
a tourist whale watching boat, so they got more than
they paid for. Imagine being a California tourist and you
pull up, you're just trying to see some Whales, and
then there's Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry.

Speaker 1 (01:13:27):
You know, did I see as making out he shoulder
tattoo tood sat it up.

Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
Yeah, And that was how people realized it was him,
I guess because they couldn't tell.

Speaker 1 (01:13:36):
It, but Canadian flag on it. I don't know. I
couldn't tell what it was, but her a sweet arm tattoo,
but it.

Speaker 3 (01:13:45):
Looked like I did not expect him to have a tattoo.

Speaker 2 (01:13:47):
Rumors of their romance obviously started back in July. They
were spotted eating at that bougie Montreal restaurant, and that
came quickly after she confirmed her split from Orlando Bloom.
Katie also got a surprise marriage proposal from a fan
during that show, which she declined, joking that the timing
was off by forty eight hours. Speaking of music, some
and I should say some, not all, country music fans

(01:14:09):
have launched petitions on change dot org asking the NFL
to replace Bad Bunny as the twenty twenty six Super
Bowl halftime show performer with George Strait.

Speaker 3 (01:14:18):
That is their suggestion.

Speaker 2 (01:14:19):
One petition argues that the halftime show should quote unite
our country on our American culture and remain family friendly.
It claims that Bad Bunny's performances counter those values, and
they say that George is a safer, more traditional alternative.
Is happening, y'all is happening, Let it go, and Bad
Bunny is a citizen, whereas many other performers have not been.

Speaker 1 (01:14:39):
So catch your mom and your ant off of Facebook immediately,
It's okay, check on them.

Speaker 2 (01:14:43):
Why when did we get so up in arms about
like they picked the show, that's the show we're getting.
I mean, my goodness, And speaking of concerts, Taylor Swift
announced a major two major projects with Disney Plus tied
to her last tour. The first the Erastour The End
of an Era, which is a sixth episode behind the
scenes docuseries, debuting its first two episodes on December twelfth.

(01:15:05):
I should point out the day before her birthday, so
I don't trust her. I don't know why it wouldn't
be on the thirteenth. Also, the Eras Tour The Final Show,
a three and a half hour concert film capturing the
last stop of the tour in Vancouver in December of
last year.

Speaker 3 (01:15:18):
This will include the Tortured Poets Department.

Speaker 2 (01:15:22):
Section that she added halfway through the show, and it
is different from her La Sofi Stadium concert film that
she dropped and that Jason's boyfriend took Jason and I
out to on their anniversary.

Speaker 1 (01:15:36):
Yes, so much so moday concert film. I think movie
film from Borette movie film here, concert film right to me,
and I.

Speaker 3 (01:15:45):
Was trying to think of this earlier.

Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
The Chicks, by the way, were brought out by Sabrina
Carpenter at acl and it was iconic. They did what's
not wide open spaces. Yeah, just iconic, So we love
that for them. If you missay part of our show
from today or any day, tape the Fred Show on
demand on the Free iHeartRadio.

Speaker 1 (01:16:01):
Apple Headline's Biggest Stories of the day in just a
second fun fact is about fruit. After that, and then blogs.
I've been meaning to get to this for like a week.
I think I've referred to it and haven't. But this
is from Reddit, and I think I know everybody would
feel about this. But maybe I'll attempt to play Devil's advocate.
I don't think I can, but well, I can always
play Devil's advocate convincingly. I just don't know if I

(01:16:22):
feel like it. But a bride is planning a free
wedding where all guests contribute to the event. So instead
of covering the costs herself, she's expecting attendees to pitch
in by providing a venue, food, decorations, photography, music, and
even the wedding cake. The bride's friend, who shared the
story on Reddit, is not on board, saying that the
couple is financially well off, making the request seem unfair.

(01:16:46):
The friend suggested that if the bride wants a free wedding,
she should consider eloping or a simple city hall ceremony
rather than imposing the burden on guests. So, if you
were not responsible for a gift, but you were responsible
for either a cash donation towards the wedding or providing
some you know, resource, would you be into this because

(01:17:08):
you're already going to spend however much you're gonna spend.
So let's say it's like, well, you want to contribute
to the catering, Do you want to contribute to the venue,
do you want to contribute to the whatever, Like you
get a little ownership in the day, right and then so,
but this is I'm essentially paying for my admittance to
the wedding. Which you know, I hate that. I hate
that idea. You know, well, the gift needs to be

(01:17:30):
what the cost of the plate would be. Well, I
don't know how much you spend on your you know,
chicken or whatever, so I'm going to give you. And
by the way, maybe you don't want to limit me
like that. Maybe I want to buy you a better
gift than that. So like, how about you plan the
wedding that you want to have the way you want
it to be, what you can afford, and then everybody
comes and has a great time with whatever you decide
to do. That's that's what I say. Yeah, I agree,

(01:17:53):
but you're the one planning a wedding. I mean, what
if it was like, all right, no gifts, but like
here's here's a donation page for catering.

Speaker 8 (01:18:02):
It's crossed my mind. You know, you're getting desperate in
these times, right, So you know, I want y'all rule
at my wedding. I'm like, what if I made it
like a concert, okay, like a little jingle ball, and
then y'all buy and take it and I can pull
this whole thing off. But I have a big issue
with brides in couples thinking that they should have their
wedding on the back of their guests, Like it should

(01:18:24):
not be you have to pay for this, or you
should cover your plate, or my gift should be at
least this amount.

Speaker 5 (01:18:30):
I think that is so tacky.

Speaker 8 (01:18:32):
And so I'm at the point now, like I'd rather
wait a couple of years or however long it takes
to afford the wedding I want to have. But I'm
not going to make that someone else's burden. But if
you got a venue out there and you want to
partner here, you know, well.

Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
So yeah, logistically, like how would you even do? Like
cause I'm like, all right, I'm on board. Maybe I'm
trying to figure out I.

Speaker 1 (01:18:53):
Don't know, maybe you have a venue or access to
a venue, so like you're a member of a place,
maybe you can I don't know, so like and then
maybe maybe I don't know, maybe people know people and
then through contacts it's like everybody chips in. But again,
I agree with you, Like I'm a guest, right, this
is not my obligation to go to your wedding, Like
it's a privilege that you're inviting me. But like you're

(01:19:14):
throwing a party, Okay, it's not a pot luck and
as it is it is. But I don't know that
I'm interested in bringing a dish to your wedding. Like,
I'm not not really into that.

Speaker 2 (01:19:22):
I mean, I don't care where my two hundred goes
or however much i'm giving, like because you know I'll
do a honeymoon fund or whatever. I just don't get
how you'll know how many people are going, how much
they're going to give in advance enough to know what
kind of wedding you can even throw. But yeah, I mean,
I don't really care where my money goes. Same, I'm
giving it regardless.

Speaker 1 (01:19:40):
The Kiky's looking at the side, Hey, can you send
me that Reddit post your journey details there? Right, biggest
stories of the day. How is she doing it exactly?

Speaker 5 (01:19:50):
Like, let's figure the logistics out.

Speaker 1 (01:19:51):
But I did see you on social over of the
weekend talking about how we're working on partnerships. Oh. Open,
I'm open to partnerships.

Speaker 8 (01:19:58):
I'm so open, open to all the partnerships. I'm actually
at the post right now. I don't knowed a venue
for an engagement party.

Speaker 1 (01:20:06):
Jason convinced that restaurant in Kansas City that Caitlin's friends
of the ownership, So like, what what can you do
for the wedding.

Speaker 6 (01:20:12):
I've already told her I'm on the team and Jason
has been helpful already.

Speaker 5 (01:20:17):
Engagement photos are happening because of Jason.

Speaker 3 (01:20:19):
So yeah, wow, we know we love you, Jason, we
know you.

Speaker 5 (01:20:23):
Everybody needs a Jason on the team.

Speaker 1 (01:20:26):
I'm just gonna make a wish list of all the
things I haven't been able to accomplish and see if
you can get him done for I don't know, it's
like my sick pleasure. Yeah, I don't know why.

Speaker 3 (01:20:34):
It makes me happy.

Speaker 5 (01:20:35):
And Paulina always knows the guy. Yes, I really do
what you need. Friend, You're right, I'll.

Speaker 1 (01:20:43):
Let you know. I'll make you both a list and
see what you guys.

Speaker 3 (01:20:46):
Yes, team will get something done for you.

Speaker 1 (01:20:48):
Yes, the Fred Show is on Friend's Fun. Fact Fred
Fun learn so much guys, did you know this? Blew
my mind? It blew my mind. Bananas are berries. Strawberries

(01:21:08):
are not berries? True? Yeah, botanically speaking, and that's the
only way I talk is Botanically, bananas qualify as berries
while strawberries do not. It's all about how the fruit
forms from the flower, So bananas are considered a berry.

(01:21:28):
But a strawberry is not a berry.

Speaker 3 (01:21:31):
But how do you open your bananas?

Speaker 1 (01:21:35):
I open it the way that you're supposed to, which
is stem the stem, and you crack the stem and
peel it down. I don't care what a monkey does.
This is this is not what I do. More breadshell next,
this is the breadshell each time. Celebrate the holiday season
with Mariah Carey's Christmas Time in Las Vegas this November
twenty eight through December thirteenth, Adobe Live at Park MGM,

December twelve show at two Nit's Day at Park MGM

Speaker 7 (01:22:18):
I'm telling me.

Speaker 1 (01:22:19):
These are the radio blogs on the Fred Show, like
running in our diaries, except we say them aloud. We
call them blogs. Paulina's got one go, Thank.

Speaker 3 (01:22:27):
You so much, dear blog.

Speaker 10 (01:22:29):
So for the weekend we celebrated Bapcha or my mom's birthday.
She I believe is like thirty five now, thirty six.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it looks amazing. Medical miracle,
that's what we call her at the house, Medical Miracle Marta.

Speaker 3 (01:22:43):
And she is celebrating and we love a birthday in
this house.

Speaker 10 (01:22:47):
And my sister and I wanted to do something different
when it came to her gift because we'll usually pamper
her and we still will, you know, with like get
your nails done, get like a massage type thing, or
if there's like a gift.

Speaker 3 (01:22:57):
That she wants, like we've we've given them to her.

Speaker 10 (01:23:00):
Although I've gotten grilled in the past because I am
that person like if you tell me what you want,
I'm gonna get exactly what you want. And she wanted
a specific it was for Mother's Day, a specific vacuum,
and I bought it for her. I remember, just like
years ago, my friends roasted me, like you got your
mom a vacuum for Mother's Day.

Speaker 1 (01:23:16):
The probably bought her like a nice one. Yes, she
would for herself, like a dice in or something, you know,
ball technology, and she you know, you probably bought her
something nice. I didn't do whatment I fred for du Yeah,
I'll fight you for that one.

Speaker 10 (01:23:31):
I love Dyson like I'll do so to you. I
can talk about diceon all day. I love their vacuum,
thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:23:38):
I don't really want to dice in, but like I
would so nice. But if I needed a vacuum cleaner
and then someone went and bought me like a baller
one when I would have just bought the normal one,
that's cool if that's what she wanted.

Speaker 10 (01:23:51):
I didn't just show up with the vacuum cleaner to
make a statement of like, let's clean mom.

Speaker 3 (01:23:56):
Like, No, she wanted something and we saved up our
coins for it and we did it.

Speaker 10 (01:24:00):
So we wanted to get her for her birthday, between
me and my sister, my husband Hobby, and my sister's
husband Aiden, a collective gift. So we decided we're going
to get her a new oven, a new stove because
my mom's is so you wanted.

Speaker 3 (01:24:16):
To clean and get back in the kids.

Speaker 1 (01:24:19):
Something.

Speaker 3 (01:24:21):
I'm not making a statement. I don't know what starts.

Speaker 10 (01:24:24):
But she really like she didn't even want to, she
didn't ask for if we just all collectively decided, well
I did that.

Speaker 3 (01:24:28):
I was going to do this because I can't even
open the stove. It's a whole thing.

Speaker 10 (01:24:32):
Plus she's got the electric and she wants gas, which
I didn't know there was like a big debate.

Speaker 3 (01:24:37):
Between which you're going to get. I just always had a.

Speaker 10 (01:24:40):
Gas, like that's what I thought people did, but I
forgot she has electric.

Speaker 3 (01:24:43):
So we're going back to the gas.

Speaker 10 (01:24:44):
And we were taking her. Me and Gigi were in
the car. We went to church that morning, and then
we went to get coffee and everything, and then my
inpums were so sweet. They texted us like, hey, do
you want to take your mom out for breakfast? And
I was like, oh my god, it's really sweet. My
in law's from Hobbies Bobby's parents, so they came and
joined us for breakfast. But before all that, I was like, Mom,
the surprise is happening. And we're driving. She goes, okay,
we're heading this way to Lagrange. I'm like, okay, yes

(01:25:06):
we are. And then she's like, we're going to home depot.
She was just being funny. Little does she know we
were going to home depots.

Speaker 1 (01:25:14):
Her birthday to home depot to pick out a new oven.

Speaker 18 (01:25:16):
I did.

Speaker 10 (01:25:17):
I pulled up right in front and we didn't pick
out an oven. Though we were we're browsing. We were browsing.
She's very indecisive, you guys, this is going to be
a process. I wonder for anyone's mom or dad is
like this, but like you try something nice and it
turns into like a three month project because now I
had to go home and measure.

Speaker 3 (01:25:31):
I didn't measure. I have to measure. Then she wants
to storage on the bottom, and.

Speaker 10 (01:25:36):
She's very picky, you guys, she has to have storage
in the bottom, and they make them really small now
because she has a big one. Her old d's not
really for storage. I learned that what it's like warm food,
but I keep it for storage under the oven.

Speaker 8 (01:25:49):
Yes, it's a broiler or something down there, like yeah,
you need something and then you want to like leave
it warm or something like.

Speaker 3 (01:25:55):
I think that is what it's supposed to be for. Yeah,
oh I don't like we all we all use it
for rises.

Speaker 1 (01:26:00):
I want to be underneath.

Speaker 3 (01:26:02):
I didn't design it.

Speaker 7 (01:26:03):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:26:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:26:05):
I always just put crab down there. Maybe I shouldn't,
I think we all do you know.

Speaker 10 (01:26:09):
I'll be back in home debuilt some point next week,
because like we have to go with the birthday depot.
And then it turned into a microwave on top, which
I'm happy to do. We're redesigning the whole kitchen, guys,
and I love it. It's time, it's girls time.

Speaker 1 (01:26:21):
Wait, so you offered a buyron of it, and now
it's why I want a microwave too.

Speaker 3 (01:26:24):
Now she was like, i'll do I want to get this,
I'll do it myself. And I said no, no, no,
we're going to get you the whole bundle package. Yeah,
the bundle.

Speaker 1 (01:26:31):
You have to mention what a big birthday it is.
It is. Well, then the fridge is going to look
right with everything else? Or are we going to need
to get a new fridge, TV screen fresh on those?
Now you don't want that. Everything's ruined, but I want
that to.

Speaker 2 (01:26:47):
Okay, my mom, God, refrigerator, please spend your money right,
I bought.

Speaker 1 (01:26:55):
That thing, like you don't you gotta have ads on this.
This is free, you know when we get paid somehow there,
but like on my on my refrigerator I got now,
I bought it. I bought a device and then put it.
You could put ads in might know anyway. Sorry, No,
you're all good.

Speaker 10 (01:27:11):
So, uh that's gonna be ho not listening the Christmas
gift because my mom is still out here with her
white refrigerator, the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (01:27:21):
Hey, she gives me free child's care, she get out
whatever she wants. She wants to rid me for Christmas.
You can have that too, she wants.

Speaker 1 (01:27:27):
Oh yeah, if I were getting free babysitting, you can
have anything you want cheap, you want everything.

Speaker 3 (01:27:32):
So she was excited about getting it right, like very cheap. Okay,
oh good, I'll work on this project. I'll be working
overtime at the station two to pay for this. To
your mom's well, you know you have to try that.

Speaker 1 (01:27:46):
I'm gonna pull I'm gonna pull up before the home
depot on mom's birthday and see how that goes over.

Speaker 3 (01:27:52):
They don't got what I wanted there
