a lot of boss false cheeks in the.
Speaker 8 (01:16):
Room of boss, I know what.
Speaker 7 (01:21):
She bosses big like stars in the room. I was like,

Speaker 5 (01:49):
You know me, So shout out to my stylus, Tanisha,
she did that.
Speaker 8 (01:53):
You're stylist? Yes, I wow?
Speaker 5 (01:57):
What the show? That girl was stitching and so on?
Speaker 8 (01:59):
Because we didn't know. It wasn't like we knew you
were going to go to that or anything.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (02:03):
I think I was in denial, like I had nothing
together for it.
Speaker 9 (02:06):
It was.
Speaker 5 (02:06):
It was pretty chaotic.
Speaker 8 (02:07):
And then your family surprised you.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
They did.
Speaker 7 (02:10):
They pulled up on me at a steakhouse and I
had no idea that they were coming at all.
Speaker 5 (02:14):
It was really a lot No.
Speaker 8 (02:16):
I saw you.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Your little nephew comes up behind you, and you kind
of looked at him like no, no, someone control your child,
support your basketball team. I don't want you chocolate. What
are you trying to sell me right now? In New
York City?
Speaker 8 (02:34):
Wow?
Speaker 4 (02:34):
So how many how many people were there? Did they
all get to go to the ceremony or no?
Speaker 5 (02:38):
No, no, no. The ceremony is very much invite only.
Speaker 8 (02:41):
So I was gonna. I was about to get mad.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
I'm like, all these people up there and I didn't
The little kid got an invite to the graea and nobody.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Wanted me there.
Speaker 5 (02:49):
No, no, no.
Speaker 7 (02:50):
It was very limited seating at the gracies, but they
were there in the city to celebrate with me before
and after.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
I like, yeah, my family, I love them.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
Well, I mean, I'm glad you brought the award in
around your neck to show it to us. But I
was kidding about wearing it as a necklace. You don't
have to do that. We already know that you won.
It looks a little heavy, it's so heavy. I don't
want you to have any neck problem.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
You know.
Speaker 7 (03:12):
I've been working out just for this moment, you know,
That's why I've been going to the gym to hold
my Gracie everywhere I go.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
That's right, she's the first Dai Kitlyn hasn't worn hers
around her neck just because she didn't want to take
away from your ship.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
Yeah, she gave stay off. I appreciate that.
Speaker 8 (03:26):
Put it back tomorrow, it'll.
Speaker 5 (03:27):
Be we need to build some shelves in here.
Speaker 8 (03:29):
Right, honestly, put them off. Put them off.
Speaker 6 (03:32):
I love it, and just leave a space for Paulina,
leave a space manifesting.
Speaker 8 (03:38):
Yeah for me.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
Well, we were talking with Rufio brought it up off
the air. But you you did build yourself a trophy case.
But there weren't really that many trophies in it yet,
but you knew that it would be full of trophies.
Speaker 8 (03:49):
Yeah, so you had it ready.
Speaker 7 (03:50):
Yes, you know when I we got a trophy from
one of the thirteen that was one of.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
Them that was on there.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
The world discounts is yes, that counts. Oh wow, it's
about going trophy I'm going to get. So I had.
Speaker 7 (04:01):
To start building it. Yeah, just waiting on my Emmy,
my Grammy, my Oscar.
Speaker 8 (04:04):
Yes, you know he got God.
Speaker 5 (04:11):
Already Employee of the quarter from that count.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
There's another one I'm never gonna get. Wow, that's the
whole thing. Got one of those most likely to eat
in the break room. Ruffo, dude, I.
Speaker 6 (04:34):
Got so excited. I opened the fridge this morning and
there's a huge trailer.
Speaker 8 (04:38):
Was like, yes, there's left over from the barbecue.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
It's a whole thing of shredded lettuce.
Speaker 6 (04:44):
I'm like, that's hold on, hold on, don't eat that.
Speaker 8 (04:50):
We don't know where that's.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
Man, let me get something. It's like, boy, this this
already has dressing on. You got it in today?
Speaker 8 (05:06):
I don't.
Speaker 10 (05:07):
I forgot. I'm so upset. I know I'm missing here
without my cabbage there, I actually go popping.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
I completely forgot.
Speaker 10 (05:13):
I was feeding the baby this morning before I left
for work, and I was running out the door and
then there was traffic and I was like, I gotta go,
but no cabbage.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
One thing I need?
Speaker 5 (05:22):
Yeah, oh no, its right.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Yeah, you missed a lot, missed a lot. Yeah, there
was cabbage everywhere there was.
Speaker 8 (05:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
What else did we do on the day she wasn't here?
We cried a lot that you weren't here. A lot
of tears, I'm sorry, a lot of tears. You know,
we uh, what else do we got?
Speaker 8 (05:38):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (05:39):
We all got raises, Yeah, we got right, but it's
only for those in attendance, so yeah, you could, sorry
about that.
Speaker 8 (05:47):
Yeah, let's see the entertainmer report this hour.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
We'll do trending stories, headlines to start your Thursday blogs,
audio journals, throwback, throw down, Thursday Today, Waiting by the
phone is new because we were not here yesterday because
juneteen so brand new. Waiting this morning, Big Money would
show been Shelley Next hour, What are you working on?
Speaker 11 (06:04):
OK, I will tell you what Britney Spears fans are
doing in the wake of Justin Timberlake's arrest.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Also, Justin says there's more to the story. Well, I
don't know what more there could be, but I'll tell you.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
Yeah, that picture says a lot Like a good defense lawyer,
There's there's more another there's nothing to see here.
Speaker 8 (06:23):
You don't know what you don't know?
Speaker 9 (06:25):
Right?
Speaker 1 (06:25):
I saw those eyes, is what I say? Yeah, Justin?
Speaker 8 (06:29):
Yeah, one Martini?
Speaker 11 (06:31):
That was quite the cocktail.
Speaker 8 (06:34):
How big was that martini? Was it one of those
big ones you know.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
People?
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Yeah, I'm gonna open my legs. Yeah, one Justin Timberlake Martini.
I'm gonna you know if you know, you know. Oh,
here's a Texas start today on our text line, fred
I was driving Uber and I was playing tangents is
my background noise. First of all, that's bold, Oh my god,
that's bold to play the tangent in your uber because
that is our author. Uncensored podcast is filthy. It is
(07:00):
very filthy. But anyway, I guess you don't want a
good star rating or you want a great star rating.
Speaker 8 (07:04):
It's going to go one way or the other.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
But a dude, old white dude, passenger said you were
only famous for your voice. I started laughing to myself because, like,
tell me you're a hater without telling me you're a hater.
Speaker 8 (07:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
Well, first of all, thank you for saying I'm famous
for anything. I didn't think I was famous at all.
So I'll be famous for my voice. That's fine, I'll
take it.
Speaker 8 (07:23):
That's what you do. Well, I guess the words.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
That come out of my mouth with that voice?
Speaker 6 (07:31):
Okay, okay, well, hey whatever. You know, that old white
dude was probably in radio before.
Speaker 8 (07:38):
You're right.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
It's probably one of the many old white dudes that
run on other radio stations and tell everyone what to do.
Speaker 8 (07:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
Maybe, so yeah, I mean, thank you for saying I
was famous for anything. I'll take it, you know, But
What I was more surprising to me about that text
was the fact that he's got the tangent on in
his uber wild because I meet you with you sometimes
and they're like, oh, I listen every morning to the
radio show and I'm just going huh, And no one
ever complains, no, no, no one ever complains. In fact,
(08:08):
people have said that passengers will wait in the car
sometimes to hear what happens in waiting met the phone.
So yeah, did you ever wonder why we do it
in two parts? That's why the shocking conclusion in three minutes. Listen,
listen to this somebody who sings some pop song, and
then we'll come back and yeah, I gotta string you
along a little longer.
Speaker 8 (08:28):
Trending stories, aren't they.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
It's the Bread show. This is what's trending all.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
Right outside of our politics and wars.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
There.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
It's a slow news day today, guys. Sorry, but Elon
Musk is trending for a few different reasons. He's being
hunted by psychopaths, apparently, he announced. Also he was asked
what he does with all of his money. He does
have a jet, we know that, but we talked about
this the other day. He's famous for like going places
and then staying like on his friend's couches and stuff.
(08:57):
I'm like, if my boy Eli, I call him. He
called me up and was like, Hey, I'm gonna be
in I'm gonna be you know wherever, and uh, I'm
gonna crash on the couch. I'd be like, E, you
can buy this condo and just stay. That's what I'm
charging you for the night. Whatever's left on my mortgage,
I'm sure sleep on it. You can sleep in the
bed with all of your children and girlfriends and all
(09:19):
your staff and whoever you want. Just pay off the mortgage.
It's all I care. You're not sleeping on my couch.
You're a multi billionaire. Didn't you just get compensation worth
like fifty billion dollars. I know, I'm not going to
help you paint your house. Bro, I'm not gonna help
you pay your house. I'm not going to help you move.
Speaker 8 (09:34):
I'm not. But here is what he does with all
of his money. He answered the question.
Speaker 12 (09:38):
Money, well, my personal question, Well, I have a big
I have a big money ben and I swim swimming
in it.
Speaker 8 (09:54):
He swims in his money. He does swim anymore.
Speaker 13 (09:57):
So, Yeah, you've got to get exercise somehow, and so well,
if I supposed to say I likes me, it'll keep
me alive. Like he's not in some sort of experimental cage.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
He's not among us, Like he's not one of us.
Speaker 8 (10:22):
He's not.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
He's not like I don't know where he is or
where what he what I mean, I think he's visiting
us from somewhere else. I think he's like he's just
a human form of an alien. That's that from another
universe or something. I mean, honestly, he's just I don't
know if he's just too smart or I don't know,
maybe he's too dumb.
Speaker 8 (10:40):
I don't it's one of the other. He's just not
one of us.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
The Kansas City Chiefs are trending why because they got
their Super Bowl rings last week. Fourteen point eight carrot rings,
sparkling reminder of football's greatest accomplishments. Forty thousand dollars each
ring is how much it costs, but there is a
typo on the ring. On the inside of the ring
(11:04):
are listed all four playoff games, their scores, and opponents
from the twenty twenty three playoffs. The Dolphins are listed
as being the number seven seed, they were actually the
number six seed inside the ring, and no one caught that.
So I don't know how many forty thousand, because you know,
the players and the coaches, and then some of the
staff get the night you know, the big, huge ones,
and then there are like smaller versions for other staff members,
(11:25):
and then I think family gets some and whatever else.
Speaker 8 (11:28):
But nobody caught that.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
So I don't know how many forty thousand dollars rings
are out there with the typo, but I'm sure that
makes them now worth more because there's something wrong with them.
Speaker 8 (11:37):
But yeah, no one caught that. No one was looking
at them.
Speaker 4 (11:41):
Flip phones are trending today because it's an official trend now.
Gen Z is driving the trend of flip phones or
dumb phones because they don't want distractions. They want to
be more present and not addicted to the noise. It
comes to smartphones and so no more iPhones. I guess
one person's thing. I wasn't present with other people. I
(12:02):
was constantly checking emails and texts, sitting at a stoplight
looking at my phone and just constantly grabbing the phone,
being distracted, being distracted when I was with my wife
and kids.
Speaker 8 (12:10):
No Kia Motorola.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
Other brands still make these sort of dumb phones, like
kind of text and that you can call on them.
But here's my thing is sure, I love it great,
I'm gonna get a dumb phone. I'm gonna tell these
guys here, the suits have a dumb phone. So I
can't broadcast from anywhere with the thing. I can't you know,
I can't do social media.
Speaker 8 (12:28):
Sorry.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
I won't be able to respond to your email until
I get to a computer.
Speaker 8 (12:33):
So sorry.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
And you know what they're gonna do. They're gonna go, no,
you don't have enough money will buy you. Like the
standard now if you're a professional, is that you're accessible
twenty four to seven.
Speaker 8 (12:41):
I'm not saying it should be.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
And they set rules, you know, they'll say like, well, okay,
well no emails after five and no emails on the weekend.
Speaker 9 (12:50):
Do it.
Speaker 8 (12:50):
But no, that's not how it doesn't happen. It never happens.
Speaker 4 (12:53):
And then people write you a message they expect to response,
and so I don't know how don't.
Speaker 8 (12:58):
I don't know how you can do.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
There's another gen Z thing, and I'm not bagging on
gen Z where it's just like we're doing it and you.
You're the rest of the world's going to deal with it,
because like if I write Ben Hamen an email because
I need him to do something and he writes me back,
you know, three days later from the library because he
doesn't have a smartphone, you know, and doesn't want to
pay for internet, he's like, oh, I just got around
to this. Like that doesn't work for me, you know
(13:21):
what I mean. Like, I mean, you have a lot
of gen Z on your staff. Well, you kind of
have an on demand staff of people for the marketing
aspect of this, so like when you need people and
you need to reach them, you got to reach them,
and I guess you could call them. But then there's
that doesn't provide any sort first of all, it's not efficient.
It doesn't provide any kind of paper trail. So I
don't know if this works, right.
Speaker 14 (13:40):
I think it's just another example of how gen Z
is like really you know, sticking their boot in the sand,
and it's like this is how I'm going to do it,
and y'all need to just you know, get along with it.
But no, it would not that would not work for me.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
Kiki, how long could you which I feel like you'd
sneak a smartphone, like if I gave you a Fred
Show dumb phone, a flip phone, yes, you know, And
I said, here, here's a sidekick, which is not all
that dumb, but at least he had a little keyboard
on there, all right, and uh, here you go. This
is your new phone now, and we're taking that away
because we don't think you're safe. We think you used
TikTok too much, Like we think you need to focus
(14:15):
on driving the car and not watching TikTok while driving
the car.
Speaker 8 (14:18):
How long? How long until you went and bought your
own smartphone?
Speaker 5 (14:22):
Thirty minutes? Like Brin, I'm not doing this.
Speaker 7 (14:25):
My phone died in the uber yesterday and I was like,
so you need to I know it's a lot of traffic,
but you don't have another charge in here.
Speaker 5 (14:31):
I need to go.
Speaker 7 (14:32):
So you need to speed this up. I don't know,
charge no extra. I'm I put this thing in turbo.
I'm filling it dad for thirty minutes. Anything could have happened.
They could have made an announcement, you know anything.
Speaker 9 (14:43):
You know.
Speaker 4 (14:43):
What's funny is Omario on He called me yesterday what
and he's trying to get a hold of you, and
he said he had a thirty minute. He said, you've
almost have a thirty minute. He had a thirty minute window.
Speaker 5 (14:52):
You see what I'm saying.
Speaker 8 (14:53):
And he was trying to get to you.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
And he's like, if I I got to move on
to the next person who wanted Gracie, who I'm going
to get with?
Speaker 2 (14:58):
What?
Speaker 8 (14:59):
And so he moved onto.
Speaker 4 (15:05):
He called Caitlin, who's also won a Gracie Award and unfortunately,
how was it?
Speaker 8 (15:09):
Was it good for you? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, she was very generous though she made
him call her Kiki during the whole podcast, But yeah, she.
Speaker 8 (15:21):
Wanted to manifest. She wanted you to be there.
Speaker 11 (15:23):
But yeah, anyway, I always think, yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:27):
Yeah, and that's what they did to they made love.
She would have filmed it for you. But she has
a freend show dumb phone now. So unfortunately, I do
think the dumb phone would probably save a lot of
people from doing stupid stuff because if I had a
dumb phone, then I can't, you know, accidentally send somebody
a picture of whatever. And I can't accidentally, you know,
tweet or just put something on social media that I
(15:48):
when I'm drinking that I didn't, you know, what I mean,
think of all the careers that have ended because of
social media because people put stupid stuff up. So if
I had to actually like go to a computer and
sit down and log in, give me a minute to
think about what I'm doing.
Speaker 8 (16:00):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 11 (16:01):
Right, Like, he's not another butt chugging video all right again?
Speaker 4 (16:05):
You know, and then Ruvia wouldn't be able to like
every single twenty two year old swimsuit influencer.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Yeah, I know. I don't know what I'd do with
my life.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
I think all the influence wouldet would pull together, right,
make sure that you had a phone that could like all.
Speaker 6 (16:17):
Their losing likes here, guys, Yeah, God, he's got one
of those dumb phones here.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
The Portland Pickles baseball organization has become the first sports
team in the US to legally sell marijuana based products.
During a live sporting event, the Pickles reveal they have
a new partnership with Cycling Frog, which sells THHD based
seltzer drinks. So one of the drinks contains two milligrams
of THHD and four milligrams of CBG, CBG or CBD
anyway is available in lemon and passion fruit flavors. You
(16:46):
gotta be over twenty one. But now you can get high,
which this is, this is going to become standard. I
feel like it won't take long. Well, but I don't know.
Speaker 6 (16:54):
Yeah, because in Green Bay they made illegal you could
smoke weed in the stadium. Now really yeah, this upcoming season,
we yeah everything.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
You can smoke whatever you want.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
If I were a Packers fan, I would I would
need to smoke weed at all times.
Speaker 8 (17:08):
I would need to be high live.
Speaker 4 (17:11):
I got plastic cheese on my head right now that
I can't eat. So yeah, yeah.
Speaker 8 (17:18):
I damn. I can see.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
I can see this becoming a thing I would rather hypothetically,
I was.
Speaker 8 (17:26):
I was saying this to you guys is the other day.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
I think I would rather get high than get drunk
hypothetically more often than not, because at least you get
like a nice sort of feeling, and it's relative, I
guess it's natural. And then you don't wake up with
the maybe a litw groggy, but you don't wake up
like the your brain your brain's so angry with you,
you know what I mean. I don't wake up with
like the uh anxiety and all the other stuff I drinking.
Speaker 5 (17:51):
What I say what I do.
Speaker 8 (17:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:52):
The only problem with the marijuana hypothetically, if if this
is what my friend Ted tells me about it when
he uses it to sleep instead of chugging Nike will
every night at seven o'clock when the sun's out, is
the monkey component. The monkey component is very real. The
monkey component is I will, I will eat a meal
or Ted will and then and then take the THHD product.
And then all of a sudden, like it's ten o'clock
(18:14):
at night and they're knocking on my door with cold stone,
you know or whatever. It's just like I did not
need that. I didn't want it, and I didn't think
I was capable of consuming it. I thought it was full.
But then the monkeys. I don't know, do you not
get that?
Speaker 8 (18:29):
I do?
Speaker 11 (18:30):
I do get the munchies, for sure. But I tried
to brush my teeth and put my little mouth onll.
Speaker 4 (18:35):
I've tried that old trick before, and by the way,
I carro it's not nearly as satisfying. I've tried that
one too. Like I got apples and bananas the stuff
in my house. I'm like, oh no, Nony gonna do it.
Brittany is trending today and Cannon will tell you why.
It's the first day of summer officially. But it's felt
like summer most places for a while now, and I
don't really appreciate it and like too much summer, Like
(18:58):
summer's great. This has been a little This is like
my butt crack sweat in summer already, and I was waiting.
I need at least a couple of weeks for the
butt cracked the sweat.
Speaker 6 (19:06):
Yes, it's too soon zero hell yeah outside yeah yeah.
Speaker 8 (19:11):
Yeah. It was almost like I could like not set. Yeah,
like what are we doing?
Speaker 4 (19:19):
It's also National American Eagle Day today as well.
Speaker 8 (19:22):
Yeah, so there you go. The entertainer report. What's that
The store? The store yesterday? It still exists?
Speaker 4 (19:29):
Yeah store, yeah, has ale, it's done a whole Yeah,
I need to go because like they it was gone.
It was out for a while or at least it
was very youthful, and then like lately I see all
this cool stuff on TikTok.
Speaker 8 (19:44):
I'm like where they get that Abba Crombie.
Speaker 11 (19:45):
Yeah, and they took their like logo off of everything,
so you were no one would really write whatever tell
oh yeah, because it was the eight yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:51):
And the reopening stores too, Like there's a store in
a boogie part of town here.
Speaker 6 (19:55):
Yeah, now, so I need to go. Holis are still too, Yeah, Hollis.
I got rid of that whole beach vibe in the
front where you look like you're walking to.
Speaker 8 (20:02):
A beach's house. I knew what.
Speaker 4 (20:05):
Dude, one of my fraternity brothers was on a bag
in Abercrombie bag back in the day, like in the
two thousands, and you know, if you were on the bag,
a lot of times you were like wall size in
the store. And so I'm like in college, no one
knew this, Like he didn't tell anybody. So like I'm
in college and I'm in an Abercrombie buying Fierce because
you know, I love Fierce. I haven't worn it recently
because it used to be a little hard to find,
(20:26):
and I don't know if it's back now. But like
Abercrombie cologne for fifty bucks or whatever it is is,
I go to Sephora and I buy some fancy Gucci, Gucci, Flucci,
you know, Jean ju Ju whatever. Nobody says anything to me,
and it's like expensive. Then I go get Fierce from
Abercrombie that I were when I was fourteen, and everyone's like, God,
(20:47):
you smell good.
Speaker 8 (20:48):
What is that. I'm like, it's zoom John von Claude
van dam Right. I tell him.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
I tell But I'm in there one day and I
look up at the entire wall of the store, like
and I'm like, that is the dude I know. And
so I go back there. I'm like, were you gonna
tell us that? He's like, oh, I did. I did
that a couple of years ago. I forgot about it,
and he forgot, but he was on bags. And then
remember they used to have guys like standing in the
front of the store, in the atream of the store
(21:16):
or whatever, like shirtless, and you'd walk by and there
was just a shirtless man standing there.
Speaker 8 (21:20):
Oh, Chase has much money, is it? Yeah? Much money.
You never frequented the Abercrombie and Fitch.
Speaker 5 (21:28):
No, I don't think they have plus as.
Speaker 9 (21:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (21:30):
I just walked on past the Little Man.
Speaker 13 (21:33):
Yea.
Speaker 7 (21:34):
And when you walk past those stores, there's a smell
that's the Yes, they spray on everything. Yeah, it was
a lot. Now, I do remember the smell.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
Yeah, they sprayed on everything. I knew a guy who
worked for them in a specific department. Uh, it won't
be too specific, but it was. He was involved in
transportation for the company, and everything had to smell like fierce,
and they had to wear Abercrombie clothing to work there.
But like the canister they sent them to use a
full of Fierce was like industrial size, and it said
(22:07):
on there like this is toxic.
Speaker 8 (22:12):
Like you telling me.
Speaker 4 (22:13):
There was this huge warning on the other side of
the container like this is really not good for you.
It was almost like like nuclear or something. And He's like,
and we were just took this gigantic thing and just
sprayed it on everything because everything had to smell like that.
And like sometimes they had to wear flip flops, but
they couldn't do their job and flip flops, so they
would have to change into shoes, do their job, and
then put the flip flops on.
Speaker 8 (22:33):
To be forward facing.
Speaker 4 (22:34):
They had to look like they had to wear you know,
like multiple polos popped and the whole thing.
Speaker 8 (22:39):
Yeah, that whole thing. Oh yeah, Puka shells.
Speaker 4 (22:42):
Oh yeah, but yeah, that was a big deal. If
you if you get a job at Abercrombie, you were
like officially in high school, you were officially considered hot.
That was like you were anointed. And by the way,
the other thing is when you walked in Abercrombie, you
knew that the employees thought that about themselves because they
didn't want to do anything because they were like they
thought they consider themselves to be models. You walking into behead,
(23:03):
you have this in a large like, I'm sorry, peon
speaking to me?
Speaker 8 (23:06):
Who is that? I hear a noise being directed towards me?
Speaker 6 (23:09):
But ugly, you're not attractive enough to be talking about
down the hall money right, I couldn't get it down there.
Speaker 8 (23:16):
I got an interview and.
Speaker 6 (23:19):
Exactly right, they'll go to Express. The Entertainer Report is next.
Caitlin's Entertainer Report is on The Fresh Show.
Speaker 11 (23:29):
Justin Timberlake's lawyer is speaking out in week of his
d w I arrest Edward Burke Junior released the statement
yesterday saying we look forward to vigorously defending mister Timberlake
against these allegations. We will have a lot to say
at the appropriate time. Also hearing Justin's wife, Jessica Biel
is pretty pissed.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
About the arrest.
Speaker 11 (23:49):
As far as I know, they haven't seen each other yet,
and she plans to support him.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
But she's definitely embarrassed.
Speaker 11 (23:54):
She was also in New York, by the way, where
she was filming her new Prime video series The Better Sister,
miles away from sag Harbor, where Justin was parting his
little booty off and then got into his car drove.
I think he blew a stop sign and couldn't stay
in the lanes, is what the cops are saying.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
So we'll see what happens with that.
Speaker 11 (24:11):
By the way, Britney Spears fans are trying to get
her twenty eleven song Criminal to return to the charts.
In the wake of all this, they launched a whole
social media campaign telling people to buy the song off
her fem Fetel album. It worked, It's already started climbing
the charts. Britney fans launched a similar campaign in January
(24:34):
when he released selfish as seeing people to purchase her
song of the same name from twenty eleven.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
I've seen lots of things on like it put him
on a fifty one to fifty. Hold he needs a
conservator show, Yeah yeah, give this man a conservator like
yeah yeah.
Speaker 11 (24:49):
Arrested for two counts, one for Britney, one for Janet.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
Ooh, yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
I don't know how much of this is tied to
that whole child star thing. But these child stars, a
lot of them, they have lifelong issues that are never
a yeah, And I don't know if he really does.
And there speculation sadly that he has an alcohol problem
and whatever else, and I don't know if that's true,
and if it is, I hope he gets help. Genuinely,
I'm not a huge JT fan, but like you know,
of course, if yeah, yeah, I hope.
Speaker 8 (25:12):
He gets help.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
And no one should be drinking and driving under any circumstances.
But I also I wonder how much of this is
tied to the fact that, like when young and famous
and enabled, and nobody around you tells you anything, you know,
nobody can tell you that you're wrong and you're rich
and you're famous and whatever else. I just unfortunately it's
a theme yep with a lot of these folks.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
Oh yeah, hundred percent.
Speaker 11 (25:31):
And they are saying people are saying that Jessica hopes
this might kind of kick his butt into gear to
stop drinking or start drinking less.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
I guess a celebrity.
Speaker 11 (25:41):
Who was questioned in connection to the death of Matthew
Perry was ordered to hand over an iPhone and a laptop,
so I guess this woman was brought in for a
ton of different interviews after the LAPD launched a criminal
investigation into the circumstances surrounding the friend star's death from
acute effects of ketemy. Now I do know he wasting
it as a treatment at the time, but they want
(26:02):
to know how he got the amount he had and
how he had it at home.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
It was way more than you'd ever be given in treatment.
Speaker 11 (26:07):
This unnamed celebrity and Matthew met in rehab and became friends,
so we'll see what happens with that. And Nellie and
Ashanti announced their engagement and pregnancy back in April, but
they were already married.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
I guess.
Speaker 11 (26:19):
Public records are saying that their wedding date was December
twenty seventh of twenty twenty three, so last year documents
did not say where they got married specifically, but it
did become official in Saint Louis, where Nelly is from.
He's on tour with Janet Jackson right now. We went
last night. We missed Nelly unfortunately.
Speaker 4 (26:37):
But that was the most on time concert I've ever attended.
Like everybody did exactly what they were supposed to be. Like,
I'm like, oh my god, it starts today. That means
that that dude will go on to like a thirty
and forty five. We rolled in there about nine. We'll
catch half that opener, and no, it was three songs
in by the time I'm like, oh my god, this lady.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Oh my place was peted. It was past. She is
still she still has that you guys like.
Speaker 11 (27:02):
She had choreography, dancers, costume changes.
Speaker 1 (27:06):
Her mic was on, I think, which is amazing.
Speaker 8 (27:08):
Sometimes sometimes she was, but when the mic was off,
she was still trying to sing.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Oh my god.
Speaker 11 (27:13):
We got chair dances, we got fashion. Shout out to
Janet because she's amazing. Forty songs.
Speaker 4 (27:20):
If you get a chance to see Janet wherever you are,
forty forty songs and shot breaks. She didn't go full
cut on all of them, but she would at least
go at least ninety seconds, at least a couple a
couple of choruses. Yeah. On forty songs. Yeahs And there
were some songs we were talking about is there were
some songs she chose it I didn't know as well.
I do feel like it was for the real fans.
(27:40):
There were a couple songs and I'm like, I mean,
she could have done forty hits, and she did. I mean,
I would say eighty percent were hits. But then there
were some that.
Speaker 6 (27:47):
I was like, yeah, oh okay, people.
Speaker 8 (27:50):
Were loving those though.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
Oh yeah, oh my god.
Speaker 8 (27:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (27:53):
Yeah it was great.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
Yeah, it was really fun.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
I want to talk about contra etiquett in a minute too.
There were some contra etiquette questions I have in the blogs.
Speaker 11 (28:00):
She's got something to say too. You can catch up
on everything that you missed from our show, The Fred
Show on our free iHeartRadio by the way.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
A Texas morning. Hey, Fred, how do you feel about
the Boeing trial that started yesterday?
Speaker 1 (28:10):
Well, let me tell you, no thoughts or feelings.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
I don't have any comments. Yeah, I mean, it's hard
to believe that anything could have gone wrong over there.
What a great company with a bunch of great people,
I mean, and just quality products.
Speaker 6 (28:24):
You know, those people still in space they.
Speaker 8 (28:27):
No, I believe.
Speaker 4 (28:28):
I don't believe that the uber hasn't arrived yet. Yeah, Steve,
he's still on his way.
Speaker 8 (28:35):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (28:36):
He has four point nine stars though, so it'll be fine. Yeah, no,
I'm sure they'll straighten that out. The people that they
have stuck in space because their spacecraft doesn't work right,
the helium leakers, and I just misunderstanding. They got to
they got tight in the helium, so they gotta do.
Must be somebody else's fault. I'm sure somebody from some
other company was right. Yeah, now that they're getting grilled,
(28:56):
I did watch somebody yesterday. The CEO is getting demolished.
It's sad though, because what a great place. And if
you don't know the running joke, it's that people who
speak out against Boeing seem to disappear.
Speaker 8 (29:06):
So or I would like to.
Speaker 4 (29:10):
Know what those two had to say before they left, Right,
did they doubt the quality of the space credit before
they went up there? Because if they did, no, and
so around here, if it ain't bowing, we're not going.
So there's that, Kiki, What is your issue with you?
You want to stay in hotels that have microwaves in them?
Speaker 7 (29:27):
Absolutely, I don't understand. First of all, where did the
microwaves go? Because they were there. There is a space
for the microwaves in these rooms.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
I thought it was a certain I don't mean certain quality,
but I'm not saying this. I thought it was a
certain kind of hotel that had microwaves. Was like, your
average Hilton doesn't have a microwave in it, but your
average residence in does. Like if it's a hotel that
you're supposed to live in for a little while, then
they got like a little little microwave in there.
Speaker 5 (29:53):
I don't know that there has.
Speaker 7 (29:54):
Been a microwave in every level of hotel I've ever
stayed in. This time, I was in a very nice
that I did not pay for, So I would just
like a micro You don't even have to put the
microwaves in the room. Just let me use a microwave
in the building somewhere. So that was my issue. You
go to these fancy hotels, you go to these fancy restaurants,
You can't finish your food. You take your to go
(30:17):
back to the room, three am, do whatever time you
wake up. You want a little midnight snack. I would
like to be able to go to somebody's microwave and
heat up my leftover stake.
Speaker 6 (30:26):
Now I was there at least a fridge for these leftovers.
Speaker 7 (30:30):
And that's my issue, because if you're gonna take a
microwave take the fridge too, don't don't threaten me.
Speaker 8 (30:35):
Well, no, yes, the other thing is to keep it.
Speaker 6 (30:37):
I'm sorry, no, no, no, i'mupt So.
Speaker 4 (30:42):
You're taking home left I'd like to speak more about this.
You're taking home leftovers to a hotel room.
Speaker 7 (30:48):
Yes, yes, I paid a lot of money for that stake,
and I would like to eat it. In the middle
of the night, and I'm scrolling and I get up,
I'm like, where is the micro Okay.
Speaker 8 (30:57):
I'm afraid to use most of the first all.
Speaker 4 (30:59):
I think they got of the appliances because they're so gross,
and I think there was like a lot of maintenance.
Speaker 8 (31:03):
I think it's what I heard is when I get rid.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
Of them, and you've seen the microwave with the right
here at the radio station.
Speaker 8 (31:09):
It's disgusting, that's true.
Speaker 4 (31:11):
But then the other thing is those fridges are usually
full of like the mini bar stuff, and if you
touch any of that stuff, they try and bill you
for it. So I'm not in there messing around trying
to throw my little casadea in there, just in case,
I just in case, I move one of the pud
lights and then I get charged eighteen dollars.
Speaker 8 (31:26):
You know what? I mean, so you don't use.
Speaker 5 (31:28):
The hotel fridge at all.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
No, no, no, uh, I'm not taking home leftovers on vacation.
Speaker 8 (31:34):
No, I don't do it.
Speaker 7 (31:35):
Okay, Well, I would like to heat up my food,
and I think it's like if you're gonna charge me
a resort fee, a cleaning fee, a bad fee, no
bad Bucks fee. It's all kind of fees on these hotels,
the least you can do is give me somewhere to
heat up my left or mistake. I am upset about that,
and I felt like, if it's not going to be
in a room, then there should be at least one
(31:55):
microwave on each floor.
Speaker 6 (31:56):
Okay, yea the veting machine.
Speaker 7 (32:00):
Yes, Now they didn't have that at this hotel because
again it might have been a higher quality. But they
had a nice restaurant downstairs. They had a nice bark
in the store.
Speaker 8 (32:10):
Well that's the other thing. They probably want you to
buy that food.
Speaker 7 (32:12):
I understand. But even if I buy that food and
I take it up to my room and I want
to warm it up later, I can't even do that.
I went down to it, I said, hey, can you
warm this up?
Speaker 1 (32:20):
Money down?
Speaker 11 (32:21):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (32:21):
I did.
Speaker 4 (32:25):
Robe No three o'clock in the morning. I want to
be I want to get the visuals set here. So
they put you up in a fancy hotel for once.
They did the right thing around here.
Speaker 13 (32:32):
Huh.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
And and they and you had your steak. Yeh and
three in the morning. It wasn't three in the morning,
but it was a kiky gets up and can't fight
a microwave. Yes, right, you could have used the iron,
but anyway.
Speaker 8 (32:45):
I know people do that. Don't do that. You could
have seared it. You could have.
Speaker 4 (32:51):
I've heard that people use the iron to warm stuff.
I do not do that.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
I take leftovers. I just eat them cold.
Speaker 8 (32:56):
But no, So you went down there with your little box.
Speaker 7 (32:59):
I went down with my box and my mouth watering
for this steak. You know how when you get a
good steak at a restaurant and you're thinking about, I'm
going to finish this later, so good like I'm going
to finish this. I'm gonna have one, not this girdle, like,
I won't have one any tight clothes.
Speaker 5 (33:12):
I'm just gonna be able to eat this steak. It's
gonna be a good time.
Speaker 7 (33:14):
So in my mind I had already premeditated how I
was going to enjoy this steak later.
Speaker 8 (33:18):
That is a great feeling.
Speaker 5 (33:19):
It's a good feeling.
Speaker 4 (33:20):
Even better feeling, kiki is when you forget that it's
in the fridge and then you bust open the because
every now and again, like there's no food in my house,
and I'll open the fridge like hoping that some like
magic food fairy came and put something in there, and
it never happened. But every now and again I'll open
the fridge and forget that I had put something in there,
And I'm like, so you went down there and you
(33:41):
said warm this stuff for me.
Speaker 7 (33:42):
I said, excuse me, can you help me find a
microwave to warm this up? And then he said, ooh,
we can't.
Speaker 5 (33:50):
I said why not?
Speaker 7 (33:51):
He said, because we are not allowed to rewarm up
food in our microwave. So there is a microwave the right,
so there is a microwave.
Speaker 5 (33:58):
In the building. You just can't do it for me.
Speaker 4 (34:00):
Yeah, okay, sir, this is a business. They're like, but
we do have nice room service that you can order
and you can get like you were paying for it
out of ordering a stake thirty six dollars season wrapped in.
Speaker 7 (34:11):
Yeah, that was ridiculous. I mean the crisis. No, mystake
went twice.
Speaker 4 (34:15):
We just wanted I would have eaten it room temperature.
I just would have chowered down. Forget about it.
Speaker 5 (34:19):
I had it in the fridge.
Speaker 8 (34:20):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
Yeah, I would have heated the thing up and ate
on the airplane back home.
Speaker 5 (34:24):
What you want to at the airport?
Speaker 8 (34:28):
You're gonna heat something up at.
Speaker 11 (34:29):
The airport now, hitting Now that this is getting out
of pocket, where is it?
Speaker 6 (34:35):
You got a better chance of finding it there at
the airport than at the hotel.
Speaker 8 (34:38):
You have you ever attended an airport before.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
They don't have they don't have a breakroom.
Speaker 4 (34:43):
They don't have if you're anywhere near when there's a
microwave at the airport, then you were in the employee section.
You are throwing bags. Now you work at the airport.
You're driving that little tog and you're pushing that thing out.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
I'm just gonna heat it up airport before.
Speaker 8 (34:58):
When the last time you went to an airport?
Speaker 6 (35:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (35:00):
I need to take you to one.
Speaker 4 (35:02):
Yeah, okay, so you you would like to see empty
refrigerators and microwaves back in the rooms.
Speaker 5 (35:08):
Put it back it was there. Put it back it
was there.
Speaker 6 (35:11):
Why didn't you just bring in with you? I'm not
bringing list like our boss does.
Speaker 8 (35:15):
He brings a whole kitchen with him.
Speaker 5 (35:16):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (35:17):
Now you want to eat his steak at three am
to and you can eat it up?
Speaker 2 (35:23):
Crazy?
Speaker 4 (35:23):
And you mentioned it the whole no bedbugs, feed whatever else.
That don't get me started on that. That drives me crazy.
I booked a hotel yesterday to go see Polly and
everybody in Dallas this weekend, and the room is advertised
for whatever. Yeah, let's say the room was two hundred dollars.
I'm just making this up. By the time I check out,
the room is three hundred and twelve dollars. And I'm like, well,
why don't you just because it's well, you got to
(35:44):
pay resort fee and then try the pools, like try
checking in, try checking in, like you know what, I'm
not going to use any of the resort I'm just
going to sleep in the bed. All we have to choke.
What if I what if I don't want to use
the gym. I'm on vacation. I'm not using the gym.
I'm not going to swim in the pool, So that's
no problem. So just take that off. No one, No,
it's part of the thing. I would rather that you
just charged me three hundred dollars instead of two hundred dollars,
(36:06):
and then just there's not a bunch of nickel and
diamond going on, because I get it. You got to
pay TAXI fine, and then just use you some form
of like state from city. You know, thanks for coming
to our town. Here's another charge thing. But then like
I don't even know if you break it down, it's
like that walking in the hallway fee. Oh you wanted
to use the elevator. Okay, Well that's okay, And.
Speaker 7 (36:25):
Don't forget about the deposit because a lot of want
to hold my money for seventy two hours.
Speaker 5 (36:31):
I haven't even been here seventy two hours. Run me
my money back.
Speaker 4 (36:34):
Oh yeah, that's another thing to check it for incidentals
like what am I going to Oh, I'm not going
to order any of your stuff.
Speaker 6 (36:39):
We had a business. We had a business here. I'm
telling you, we just have microwave on the go.
Speaker 7 (36:43):
Can you call us right right?
Speaker 8 (36:49):
Let me go.
Speaker 4 (36:50):
Rufy will come right from the airport with the microwaves.
You're taking care more thread show.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Next, you've got to wait. Thread show is on Waitest Morning.
Speaker 4 (37:02):

Here's the prize with Shelby is Shelley twenty four straight wins?
Can you beat the gorilla?
Speaker 4 (38:22):
Our pop culture expert will plain about about a half
an hour after a brand new waiting by the phone
didn't do one yesterday, so we're doing it today. Blogs
in just a second, the entertainer report this hour to you.
What are you working on?
Speaker 11 (38:33):
Well, Kendrick Lamart is something amazing yesterday. We need to
talk about all of the people, all of the things.
Speaker 1 (38:40):
Okay, it was really cool.
Speaker 8 (38:42):
Throwback throw Down Thursday, that's coming up. Pe them back.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
Yeah, they talk better than the excited.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
Tell me.
Speaker 4 (38:48):
These are the radio blogs on The Fresh Show, like
we're writing in our diaries, except we say them aloud.
We call them blogs. I'm gonna take this one, o,
dear blog. Can we talk about concert etiquette? You know,
I don't go to a lot of concerts. I like concerts,
but I don't go to a lot of them because
they most of them take place after six pm on
a weeknight, and most of them involve large crowds of people,
(39:12):
and some can be difficult to get to and fro,
you know, depending on the venue. But this one, you know,
it all came together. Jason and our boy Derek at
the United Center. Last minute. There were some extra tickets
and we got to go. So Kaylan, Jason and I
(39:33):
we went to the to the event, the concert event
of the century, Jennet Jackson. If she's coming to a
city near you, I recommend that you go. I was
very impressed. She looks great. She was really singing most
of the songs, and the one time I don't think
she was singing was when she was dancing her ass off.
I get a lot of anxiety watching. She had like
four I think she had four or five backup dancers.
(39:53):
It was her and four or five backup dancers, male
backup dancers. And that was the whole show. Forty songs.
She did four forty songs with like maybe thirty second
breaks in between acts. She would do like ten songs
in a row and then take a thirty second break
and then do ten more songs. It was wild, But
how in the hell this is actually a side rent.
Do those people remember the dances for forty songs? Like
(40:18):
every song has its own choreography, every song, and they
can and I realized repetition and whatever else, but like.
Speaker 8 (40:26):
That's their job. I don't care.
Speaker 4 (40:29):
Yeah, I can't remember what we talked about on the
show last hour and I haven't gotten out of this chair.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
It becomes muscle memory.
Speaker 11 (40:35):
Yeah, like you don't even think about it after you
do it enough times.
Speaker 8 (40:39):
I was just amazed.
Speaker 1 (40:41):
But it was amazing.
Speaker 4 (40:42):
Yeah, And like Janet was dancing, but she was singing
a lot, so she wouldn't do all of the moves.
But those guys were dancing their asses off for three hours.
They did it the night before two in another city.
They do it, and I don't know how they remember.
I truly don't know how they remember all the moves
to forty different songs.
Speaker 11 (41:00):
She had the most clothes on too, Like did you
know she was wearing every clothing item.
Speaker 8 (41:04):
I don't get a trench coat on.
Speaker 11 (41:06):
I'm like, yeah, my girl, you gotta be hot in there.
But did you go home? And you were like because I.
Speaker 6 (41:10):
Was, yeah, I was like, what did you do when
you got home?
Speaker 2 (41:13):
For it.
Speaker 8 (41:14):
I went to bed.
Speaker 4 (41:15):
Oh yeah, this is a big night for me, guys,
this is a really big night. The concert event didn't
begin until like nine to fifteen begin Yeah, I mean
I was in bed at like midnight.
Speaker 8 (41:27):
It's a big night up at four.
Speaker 1 (41:29):
It's a regular concert schedule.
Speaker 4 (41:31):
Okay. But that's not how. That's not how Grandpa over here,
That's not how people.
Speaker 1 (41:35):
It's stressful when you know you got to wake up
earlier this morning.
Speaker 8 (41:37):
That's the thing.
Speaker 4 (41:38):
If it were a weekend, I would have just you know,
Jesus taked the wheel. But here's my thing, first of all,
to stand or not to stand. And I feel especially
bad because I'm so tall. Now arenas it works, okay,
because usually the pitch is you know, the pitch of
like the seating is such that like the person behind
me was okay. I looked and checked, like to make sure.
Speaker 11 (41:58):
But because we could see you across the arena, you could, yes,
and you.
Speaker 14 (42:02):
Were perfectly litle literally stage like hit you immensely, just
like I was like, oh my god, you.
Speaker 6 (42:11):
Could feel you could see Fred from all the way there. Yeah,
I know you guys love there. Fred was down the well.
Speaker 8 (42:16):
I was on the stage. That's why I was That's
why that's why I was lit up.
Speaker 1 (42:20):
There was the Janet section.
Speaker 8 (42:21):
Yeah, there was once the part where she was feeling
up all the dancers. That was me.
Speaker 11 (42:24):
Yeah, I saw you standing and I was stressed for
the person behind you, but they were cool.
Speaker 9 (42:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (42:28):
I only had to I was nervous about the other
thirty nine dances. I only had to know the choreography
or one day and that was where I sat there
and she felt me up. Yeah, during what song it was,
I can't remember, but she got real handsy and they
got real handy with her. And I realized that most
of those dancers were born probably thirty years after her prime.
Speaker 14 (42:47):
Well for them to be blancing to this amazing music.
Speaker 4 (42:51):
That and like they're like they were feeling up Janet
freaking Jackson, like honestly, And I thought a few times,
like I was looking at the big screen and they
were like a few shots from the center where all
the dancers were like you know, position, and she was
in the middle. I'm like, I hope someone takes a
screenshot of that and like thirty years from now, those
dudes are like they can look at that picture and
(43:12):
be like I did that because it's I don't even
know if they can truly appreciate how iconic being on
and I don't know, she's amazing, but to stand or
not to stand because a lot of people were standing,
a lot of people were not standing, and the vibe
of the concert went up and down because she's got
bangers and then she's got slow songs, and so we
(43:34):
I didn't know what to do, like, am I standing?
I'm The other thing is we do we talk at
all during a concert? Because the person my friend who
went with me, there was some gentlemen next to us
who were very into the event. They were already wearing
their contract tea. I don't know if maybe they got
it at a previous engagement and wore it out.
Speaker 8 (43:52):
I don't know what it was.
Speaker 4 (43:54):
But they were like dancing and they're having a great time.
And apparently at some point my friend leaned over to
one of them and said, what's your favorite song? And
the response was shut up, I'm trying to watch the show,
no way. And that's all she said was what's your
favorite song? That was all she was trying to vibe with.
And I would think I've never been to a concert
with a single artist, a singular artist where everybody is
(44:17):
not equally excited to be there, and that wouldn't have
been like a vibe question, like you know, you're asking
your seat mate, like what are he is most excited?
Speaker 2 (44:24):
To me?
Speaker 8 (44:25):
It was real quick, like yeah.
Speaker 4 (44:27):
That's what I mean, because we're all there's ninety years
thousand people there for the same reason, Like we're all
there to see her, especially and she was amazing, but
she's also been around for forty years, so like it's
not exactly like it's a new fad artist, like you
got to be a fan, you know what I mean.
And the tickets we're not cheap either, so like, but
(44:48):
but I'm like, wait a minute, So now we don't
we don't try and vibe with our seat mates. Now,
like we don't try to have like a little party
and have like a good old time, you know, cause
everybody else was just super happy to be there. Yeah,
and like if you're there and they're there, then we're
all doing the same thing.
Speaker 8 (45:03):
So I guess we don't talk.
Speaker 6 (45:05):
We don't try and make friends at a concert event,
apparently to stand or not to say, how do we
kick you?
Speaker 8 (45:10):
How do we evaluate?
Speaker 4 (45:11):
I mean, there is a seat there, yes, but but
if everybody and I could, I could actually sit and
still see over the people standing. But yet I'm very tall,
and I really felt bad because it's like, if I stand,
I am, I am, I am, you basically got limited
view seating. That's not your problem though, that you didn't
know by sitting behind me, you essentially had a poll
(45:31):
in front of you at the Janet Jackson concert event.
Speaker 5 (45:34):
That's not your fault though.
Speaker 7 (45:35):
And I always go off of the person in front
of me, So if they staying, I'm not going to
have an obstructive view. So I'm gonna stand, And that's
what I kind of judge it off of. And I'm
like sorry to the person behind me, But my issue
is the people who keep going to the bathroom and
the bar during the show.
Speaker 6 (45:50):
Like, get that together, okay, so we need to be
a little more organized.
Speaker 7 (45:53):
Yeah, it's like an airplane, bro, get an aisle seat.
If you know that you cannot sit still for an hour, right,
it drives me, excuse me, gives me stand up and
like I'm beig so like I have to literally stand up,
move out of the high all.
Speaker 1 (46:06):
The way to the Yeah, you're.
Speaker 5 (46:08):
Gonna do that, at least do it when she's not performing.
Speaker 6 (46:10):
The bankers like yeah, that, Yeah, there's a time in
a place to go to the bathroom and go to
the bar.
Speaker 8 (46:15):
Yes, it's like when you're the biggest hits.
Speaker 4 (46:16):
Yeah, right, like when you're a little kid and your
mom's about to go on the plane, like you need
to go potty before we go, you know. It's like,
so I need to say these people, like you need
to go potty because you know she's about to do
forty songs and like you know, I know you're gonna
be drinking your cosmos and whatever, but like, come on now, right,
you know, now's not the time to go merch shopping
like we are focused, Yes, and I agree with you.
Speaker 7 (46:34):
Yeah, don't don't come to my section trying to find
you a seat in the middle of a performance, like, bro,
wait to the intermission, go watch it at the door.
Speaker 8 (46:41):
Here's another one.
Speaker 4 (46:43):
If you know already that you're in a seat, this
happened last night too. If you already know that you're
in a seat that's not yours, don't act surprise that
don't act surprise when I come walking up or mad
when we come walking up and we the person is
in our seats and we're like, hey, I think these
are ours, and they're like I don't think so, I
don't think that.
Speaker 6 (47:02):
It's like, well, can we just see your ticket? And
there is no ticket because you're not supposed to be there.
That happened to me yesterday. I took ash into the movies,
and it happened at the movie theater.
Speaker 15 (47:10):
What yeah, children at a theater where you have to
reserve the ticket.
Speaker 6 (47:15):
See, I did the whole thing.
Speaker 16 (47:17):
Like.
Speaker 17 (47:17):
I waited till the after the previews, so we got
all our popcorn. The movie's about to start. We get
to the seat and there's a guy and his kids
sitting there. I was like, excuse me, sir, I think
you're in our seat. He's just like, well, you could
just sit anywhere.
Speaker 6 (47:29):
I was like, no, I paid for these two seats
right here, right, I have a ticket.
Speaker 8 (47:35):
I was like, not for these two seats.
Speaker 6 (47:37):
I was like, get up and move.
Speaker 4 (47:38):
Yes, I don't blame you, like you reserve the seats
you paid, right, But like if you we've all done
the thing where we go to a concert or in
a sporting event or whatever and we sneak down to
seats that are better than the ones that we paid
for because I got it, like we've all done it.
But I know the whole time I'm sitting there that
like I'm not where I'm supposed to be. So if
somebody shows up, I need to be very nice to
(48:00):
respectful and get the hell out of there because I'm
you know, whatever, No, this person looks at us like
we're the idiots, and it's like you knew when you
stood there, those were not your seats. You knew there
was a chance that somebody was gonna come and take
so just just be gracious and get the hell out
of way, exactly.
Speaker 6 (48:13):
And it also bugs me when they when they finally
do get up and move, and then they go like
two rows down and they fill another pierce of seats,
and you're just like, I just want to tell somebody,
like I gotta I gotta tell theybody.
Speaker 4 (48:24):
These people don't belong in this. That's what I'm saying.
You are to get the authorities in vote.
Speaker 18 (48:28):
We get the.
Speaker 4 (48:28):
Authorities in vote. Take the usher right now. I'm gonna
get I will get the authorities in vote. We can
do this right now. We can throw down right now.
And I'm missing escapade because you are in a seat
that it is not yours. Okay, I want to take
you on an escapade to jail, straight to jail. Okay,
So it's a seating, and then don't sit in the
seat that's not yours. And then I agree with that
(48:50):
bathroom and concession break we need.
Speaker 8 (48:52):
We need to plan that out accordingly.
Speaker 4 (48:55):
I agree with that, and then let's be nice to
each other at a shared intern of that.
Speaker 8 (49:00):
Right. Okay, waiting a by the phone is three minutes away.
Fread show.
Speaker 6 (49:06):
Ever been left waiting by the phone?
Speaker 8 (49:10):
It's the Fred Show. Camera, Good morning, welcome to the show.
How are you? I'm all right, I'm all right, all right. Okay,
So there you go.
Speaker 4 (49:17):
And another honest response from someone who's to feel like
they might be being ghosted. So this woman, Cameron, tell
us how you met? About any dates that you've been on,
and then why do you think you're being ghosted?
Speaker 18 (49:28):
So I met I met Lisa on Instagram of all places.
Actually I asked her out, and you know, after a
little while of chanton and the date went unquestionably well,
you know, she wanted to go back to my place.
(49:49):
We ended up picking up and so asleep, and then
when I woke up, she was just gone.
Speaker 4 (49:57):
And then you haven't heard from her since. I mean,
everything goes right back to your place. Whatever happens. You
wake up, she's gone, and then you've reached out, you've
called or texted or whatever, and then she hasn't responded
or reached out to you. Yeah, I mean, because that
is puzzling, because everything went well up until the point
where you never saw her again. But I mean, I
would I would think if I want on a date
(50:17):
and all that stuff happened, that things were good. But okay, well,
let's see if we can get a hold Yeah right,
let's see if we can get ahold of Lisa. You'll
be on the phone. We'll ask some questions to some point.
You're welcome to jump in, and hopefully we can figure
out what's going on. Maybe she's been busy or not
feeling well, or who knows what's going on. But the
hope is that we can straighten this out and then
set you guys up on another date that we pay for.
Speaker 8 (50:37):
Sound good, Yeah, it sounds great. Let's see what's going on.
Speaker 4 (50:40):
Part two of Waiting by the Phone is two minutes
to a Fred show.
Speaker 8 (50:43):
It's the Fred Show.
Speaker 4 (50:44):
Good morning one four hundred and fifty bucks with She'll
be Shelley in the showdown. You wait in less than
ten minutes, Hey, Cameron, Yeah, all right, let's call Lisa.
You guys met, you went on a date, you actually
got you met on Instagram.
Speaker 8 (50:57):
Okay, alright, you DMed a little bit.
Speaker 4 (50:59):
I like it when this slide it works, that's good.
So you went on a date. You thought it went
really well, well enough that you went back to your place.
You guys hooked up, you said, and when you woke up,
she was gone. And you've reached out to try and
get a hold of her to schedule another date and chat,
hang out whatever, and she's not responding, and you want
to know why.
Speaker 8 (51:16):
Yeah, all right, all right, dudelet's call her now. Good luck,
Thank you so much. Hello, Hi, this is Lisa, Lisa. Hi,
good morning. My name is Fred.
Speaker 4 (51:32):
I'm calling from the Fred's Show, the Morning radio Show,
and I have to tell you that we are on
the radio right now. I would need your permission to
continue with the call. Said, okay, if we chat for
a little bit, Yeah sure, Well, thank you very much.
We're calling on behalf of a guy. Named Cameron, who
says that he met you. I guess you guys chatted
on Instagram and then went on a date recently. Do
you remember meeting Cameron?
Speaker 1 (51:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (51:55):
I remember, Okay, So he described to us, reached out
to us and told us that he thought he went
on a successful date with you and was hoping to
take you out again. He says that he's reached out
since the date and you haven't responded, So I mean
it's fair to say you're ghosting this guy. Can you
kind of tell us what's going on so we can
tell him?
Speaker 9 (52:14):
Yeah, sure, I can tell you about that night. We
went on a date and we went back to his place,
and I'm not shy to say that we hiked up
and then in the middle of the night, I heard
someone waking up, like on a phone, and it was
him on a phone, and he was talking to somebody
that was clearly not a friend or relative, and he
(52:37):
was asking for this person of what they were wearing,
and that he couldn't wait to see them. I assuming
it's a girl and he missed her, and like he
was making like cutsy noises and it was just kind
of like a kind of like a sexy call, you know,
one of those, and I was just like completely.
Speaker 8 (52:57):
One of those.
Speaker 4 (53:00):
He was like in the other room, Like you woke
up and he was in the other room. You could
just hear him talking.
Speaker 9 (53:05):
Yeah, he left the door open, the bedroom door open,
and he was like in the hallway, so I could
clearly hear the conversation, and I just kind of froze
and pretended to be asleep. And when he came off
to bed, I waited until he was asleep and then
I left, and you know, I realized they were both single.
So yeah, we can date whoever we want, But like,
(53:26):
who does that? Like, like you can't wait until I'm
out of the house.
Speaker 4 (53:30):
Yeah, I mean I have to say for him to
feel that he had to take that call and have
that conversation with another woman in the house, I mean
I would wonder kind of why was it so urgent?
You know, if you're just dating multiple people or whatever,
then maybe you return that phone call the next day
or once once you've left. But like, why did he
have to answer and do that then? And let's ask
(53:52):
the man Because I forgot to mention. I feel like
morey now Cameron is here, Lisa, Sorry, I forgot to
mention that the camera to see. I'm very forgetful, Cameron.
Why who was on the other end of the phone
and why did you have to take that call when
Lisa was at your house after hooking up with her.
It seems a little disrespectful.
Speaker 18 (54:07):
I mean, I have no idea what she's talking about.
She must have been dreaming or something like that. Never happened,
So you did.
Speaker 4 (54:14):
You're saying you did not take a call from someone
else in the hallway or whatever while Lisa was in
your home. You were not making kissy faces and noises.
You were not the baby what you were wearing. Yeah,
you weren't asking anybody what they were wearing. That never happened. No,
none of that never happened. That never happened. I don't
know what she's talking about, Okay, Lisa, he says, camera says,
(54:35):
that never happened. Is there any chance that you dreamt it?
Is there or anything? I mean, I'm just playing Devil's
advocate here. Is there any chance that this was in
your sleep?
Speaker 9 (54:43):
No, I definitely remember happening. I woke up, I looked
at my phone. It was like two am, and I
saw his kind of shadow in the hallway, and I
was like, what is going on?
Speaker 1 (54:55):
It was not a dream.
Speaker 8 (54:56):
So Lisa, I want to be clear.
Speaker 4 (54:57):
You're not saying that he doesn't have a right to
have other folks that he's talking to like that. You're
just saying that it was un sexy and kind of
uncool that he would have done it with you in
the house, because I can already hear the people going, now, well,
you guys just mad, and you know, everybody's sort of.
Speaker 1 (55:12):
The just hooked up.
Speaker 4 (55:13):
Yeah, no, no, no, no, I agree, it's disrespectful, But I mean,
I'm just saying, you're not saying he shouldn't have conversations
at this point in your relationship or situationship or whatever
it is other people this way, just not in front
of you.
Speaker 9 (55:26):
Yeah, And I hope if he ever has another girl,
he doesn't do it in front of that person either.
I think it's just while he went to the.
Speaker 4 (55:33):
Okay, no, no, no, And Cameron, you're you're really gonna
stand by this right now, You're gonna say that never happened.
You're not seeing anybody else with whom you might have
that conversation in the middle of the night.
Speaker 8 (55:45):
No, who am I having that conversation with the two
in the morning. Well, that's what we're that's the question
that we're asking. That's what we all like to know.
Who's answering the phone or two in the morning.
Speaker 6 (55:56):
I don't know you. So you're saying it never that
never happened.
Speaker 8 (56:02):
It never happened. I do. I have no idea what
she's talking about. That never happened.
Speaker 4 (56:08):
I mean, so like, and I'm not saying we're going
to do this, but like, if we were to go
look at your like phone log, there's not a call of.
Speaker 6 (56:14):
The Dominos can call you at two in the morning.
Speaker 4 (56:17):
I mean, Dominos calls you to see if you want
a pizza. Now, I wish i'd say yes every time.
Speaker 8 (56:25):
By the way to making kissy faces.
Speaker 19 (56:27):
That all right?
Speaker 4 (56:28):
Like, I mean, come on now, all right, So this
guy's he is standing on the fact, Lisa that this
did not happen. Are you Are you sure enough about it,
Lisa that you don't want to give this guy another chance?
I mean, I tend to believe you. But let's say,
let's say maybe it didn't happen the way you think
it did. I mean, is is it worth trying again?
Speaker 9 (56:47):
Absolutely?
Speaker 2 (56:47):
Not?
Speaker 1 (56:48):
Okay, another day. Wow, could you be more clear?
Speaker 8 (56:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (56:52):
So she she feels strongly that that it happened, Camra,
I mean, yeah, I.
Speaker 18 (56:56):
Mean I totally understand how this sounds, but I'm telling
you it just did not happen.
Speaker 4 (57:04):
Okay, okay, all right, Well I guess it's not going
to be a match.
Speaker 8 (57:08):
Lisa.
Speaker 4 (57:08):
Thank you for answering it for your time. Good luck
out there, Cameron. I mean, I don't know, that's quite
a specific dream to have. It's a very specific, you know,
order of events to take place to not have happened.
Speaker 18 (57:23):
Yeah, I know, I understand how it sounds and how
everyone hearing this must think, but I'm telling you this
didn't happen. So I mean, I'm as sums as the
next person.
Speaker 4 (57:36):
I guess, Okay, all right, yeah, I mean, maybe like
I don't go in the kitchen next time, or like
a little further away the hallway, you know, trying to
go in the bathroom turning to sink.
Speaker 1 (57:45):
Comy, come on, man, I didn't do it, but if
I had done it, this.
Speaker 8 (57:48):
Is how I would write.
Speaker 4 (57:49):
If Yeah, if you were to do something like that again,
you know, then you might want to be aware that
your house is not nearly as sound proof as you thought.
Speaker 8 (57:56):
But it didn't happen though, So it didn't happen. Yeah, okay,
oh she's gone, She's she hung up? Did you do
it right?
Speaker 2 (58:06):
Us?

a big old party yesterday called the Pop Out Canon Friends,
celebrating La rap and hating on Drake.

I think was also a celebration there.
Speaker 11 (59:33):

filled with a ton of rappers NBA players. He did
his Drake discs Not Like Us six times in a row.
Once was just an instrumental, but six times they not
like a Yeah, muster was there, I mean, everybody.
Speaker 5 (59:52):

the rounds of Not Like Us, kicking off the song
with I See Dead People.
Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
It's got a hurt. Drake Got a hurt.
Speaker 11 (01:00:05):
Kendrick also added new lyrics to his Drake dis Euphoria
and he said give me two Bucs ring back and
I might give you a little respect.
Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
It was giving like it was a little mean girl energy.
Speaker 5 (01:00:16):
It's so mean at this point, we really need to
check on Drake.
Speaker 11 (01:00:19):
I'm certain to feel like, Okay, you won the rap battle.
But I would be sad if I like logged into
Instagram and saw like all the people that I thought
were my friends, like my boys, right, I'd be like, oh,
mans was this all happening?
Speaker 8 (01:00:34):

Speaker 6 (01:01:24):
You see the shoes at Kendrick Lamar was wearing though
he was wearing the Nike shocks like I was just right.
Speaker 11 (01:01:29):
Now we can't bring those back wearing I was like, oh,
everything comes back. And on my daily j Loo ben
affleck check. She is on a boat in Italy. Yesterday
I saw her tanning and doing some stuff. Her husband
was nowhere in sight, so she's on a vacation. This
obviously comes as rumors of a divorce or circulating, and
(01:01:51):
they've been quietly trying to sell that sixty one million
dollar at Beverly Hills home that they bought together.

the Janet Jackson Musical Event of the Century and said
that she her favorite song was Escapade because I took
a video and that is my favorite song. So I
will now allow her to do what she needs to

Cawin's Entertainment report is on The Freas Show.
Speaker 11 (01:29:27):
Olympian Simone Biles is pulling back the curtains on the
personal struggles that she went through during the twenty twenty Olympics,
sharing footage of herself breaking down in tears as she
discussed her mental health as part of an upcoming docu series.
Speaker 1 (01:29:40):
So here's the Deal.
Speaker 11 (01:29:41):
Netflix just dropped the trailer ahead of the four part
projects released, sharing some of Simone's life with husband Jonathan Owens,
her desire to return to competition, and her training leading
up to the Paris Games. It's also going to focus
on one of her biggest stories, her withdrawal from competing
for gold and addressing her mental health. She has been
really vocal about her battle with twisties, which if you're
(01:30:02):
a gymnast you know, describes a mental block that affects
your performance, and how that played into her experience in Tokyo.
She said, like, basically, your mind, your body don't line
up and you can't tell up from down. It's a
really crazy feeling and she was having that before she
pulls out.
Speaker 1 (01:30:18):
Lots of us supported.
Speaker 11 (01:30:19):
Her to, you know, fix her mental health, but a
lot of people did give her a lot of backlash
about it. They highlighted a tweet that called her the
quitter of the year. The whole series drops on July seventeenth, So.
Speaker 4 (01:30:32):
We get to hear one thing about a gymnast. I
don't want to hear one thing about it. Have you
ever even tried to stand on a balance being before?
Just stand there?
Speaker 1 (01:30:39):
I can't stand on the ground all the time the.
Speaker 4 (01:30:42):
Same, right, And you talk us back about somebody who
did jumping up in the air doing flips.
Speaker 6 (01:30:46):
And she's creating new moves like and yeah to get
twisties when you're the one doing the most twist in
the air, right, that's crazy.
Speaker 8 (01:30:54):
The ranch across walk on the damn thing. I don't
want to hear one thing.
Speaker 1 (01:30:58):
No, I don't want to hear it.
Speaker 8 (01:30:59):
I think if you can, it's no, no, no, not
in mind, I want to hear it.
Speaker 16 (01:31:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:31:04):
But if Lebron James said the same thing, oh he's
a quitter, same thing?
Speaker 8 (01:31:07):
What do you mean now?
Speaker 5 (01:31:09):
I want you being.
Speaker 11 (01:31:11):
But she is one of the bravest things I think
anybody could ever do. And she knew she was going
to get backlashed, and she took care of herself.
Speaker 1 (01:31:18):
