like those they are still playing. So your team might
have been playing yesterday and then you may have worn
like a Mariners jersey because they were playing.

it's not like your guy got traded, but you got

out and buy the new jersey, or like you liked

just not really nilly kind of stuff.

I say, stick to the sport you're at with one
of the teams you're at, or find something in your
wardrobe that goes along with their colors, or wear something neutral.

think it's neat that you were elevated to friends of
ownership when you went to the Travis Kelcey and Patrick
Mahomes restaurant. We went from not being able to get
in to Jason pretending to be someone else to get
your reservation, to then you became friends with ownership.

We go in there and like the manager comes over
and he's saying all these things and he's like, yeah,

are waiting in line or if their reservation goes longer.

And so we looked, we saw there wasn't a seat,
and then we went to the bathroom and the guy's like, oh,
did you want to sit at the bar? I was like, yeah,
but there's not a seat where we can go get
a night cap at our hotel.

So we go to the bathroom.

We come out, there's a whole area at the bar
they've set up for us with reserve signs. And they
see us next to a guy they go, he's here's
so and so he's also friends of ownership, and I
was like, right, French of ownership, So like I don't know.

few years ago, I was, you know, mayan fiance and
I were doing a lot of research. Well he mostly
he was doing research on bitcoin, and he seemed to know,
like really what he was doing with it, and so
we decided to invest a lot of a fair amount

of money.

On bitcoin.

We went fifty to fifty and he said that he
was going to do well, he said, to grow it
in the future.

You said, a few years ago you did this? Yeah, yeah,
and you rich Redge girl. Okay, well, so yeah, that's
my financial that's that's that's how I feel about that financially,
as your advisor, girl, you Ridge Ridge anyway, Okay, so
years ago you invested in this fifty to fifty then
what okay?

So, which you know that's also what I thought. But
so okay, we're getting married, and like, as you know,
weddings are super expensive and at the moment, we're pretty
over budget, and so I asked him, you know, like, hey,
what about the bitcoin? Could we use some of that
to pay to the venue? And my fance reacted really weirdly,

and so like it took you know, I kind of
prodded him about it, and then he finally told me
that when he checked on our you know, on our account,
it had grown a lot and obviously and then he
cast it out and used it to pay apparently some
of our bills and then apparently also a vacation that

we took and I had I had no idea, and
so how much.

You invested, but since in the last five years it's
up one thousand percent, so whatever you invested it was
a ten x Like whatever you put in. I mean,
that's we're not talking about I don't know how many
coin you have or whatever, but like we're not talking
about an insignificant amount of money that he apparently decided
to delegate to something else. I mean, we're talking probably

tens of thousands of dollars.

Well yeah, yeah, exactly, okay, yeah, and apparently it's all gone.

It's all gone or like some of the inkrey and
he spent all of it.

And you know what, that's also a question that I have,
you know.

I mean, because if you bought one one coin is
worth one hundred and someventy thousand dollars. I think I
haven't looked recently. Let me see you what is one
coin worth? One bitcoin?

My brain just like automatically shuts off. I don't understand,
Like I want to.

Understand why bitcoin value one hundred and eleven thousand dollars today?
I wish I could get it same why wish I
could have gone ten years ago one hundred and ten grand. Anyway,
So if you don't, so he took he took money
that is both of yours that he has access to.
He spent it on things that are for both of you.
But he did it without asking you if that's what

you wanted to spend it on. Yeah, huh. Now why
didn't you have access if you put half the money
in and it was growing at the rate that it
was growing. And I'm sure you sort of out of
the corner of your eye were watching this because you
can't really miss that that that you know, crypto is
has been pretty volatile. So I mean, why why did
you not ask for access to this account too, so

you could look at it, because I think I would,
you know, if I put half of something investment in
and there was a way to look at it, I'd
probably you know, take a little look see every now
and again.

I would have gone about it. But I guess I
kind of, in my mind was sort of going about
it and like sort of like a traditional way and
was sort of like, well, you know, I'm going to
be with this man, and I trust him, and you know,
he said he wants to take care of our finances.
So I just kind of, now that it's coming out

of my mouth, I kind of did, like blindly trusted
him with my money. And I feel like a fool.

Now let me ask you this, Kayla, because why I'm sorry,

Well, just now here I am on a radio show,
you about how my money was taken away from peop.

It's asolutely nothing. This is what we do and there's
nothing shameful here. But I guess you didn't do anything wrong.
But where did you think the money was coming from
to pay off these joint bills slash go on vacation.
So like, if not from there, did you just think

he had You just saw he had enough money to
pay for this stuff and didn't even consider that he
was dipping into that fund.

I didn't think much about the expenses. Like, we we
both have good jobs, we both work full time. He
does make more than me, and so I honestly I didn't.
I didn't see anything of it. It never crossed my mind.

Yeah, this is interesting because like maybe you wouldn't have
gone on the vacation or chosen to pay the bills
if you had known that this was happening because you
were counting on this money for something else. So you
know what I mean. Like, so this guy's like, yeah
we can go on vacation, Sure, I got you, Or
let's go on vacation. Then he pays for it. But
if you had in my mind, if I'm with someone

and they say, hey, let's go on vacation, I'll cover it,
then you've got the money to pay for that. If
we're going into our savings to pay for it, that's
a different conversation that we have to have together. Exactly,
because then you have to ask yourself, is this vacation
worth it? Are these Is this the financially responsible thing
to do to pay these bills off? Right now? You
know there's a lot that goes into that. So, I mean,

you had a right to know when the money that
you that's half yours, was being spent in hell, in
my opinion, you had every right to know, even if
it benefited you.

But he says that he used it on stuff for us,
and so he's.

I guess he's at a point where he doesn't understand
why I'm so mad about it.

I would also ask for a full accounting. I would
I would ask like, okay, great, so you spend all
of our bitcoin, which again I don't know how many
you had, if it was one or a part of
one or whatever, but we're not We're talking about probably
tens of thousands of dollars and a big increase over
when you bought it five years ago, so there was
a fair amount of money there. So I think i'd
also be like, hey, let me see where you spent it,
because that's a lot of I mean, I don't know

what kind of vacation you went on or what these
bills were, but like, unless it was a lot, then
I think he's I don't know where. I don't know
where he's.

mess with other teams. We didn't even ask for you.

it's not like your guy got traded, but you got

I say, stick to the sport you're at with one
of the teams you're at, or find something in your

I had a lot of good car on this trip,

We go in there and like the manager comes over

are waiting in line or if their reservation goes longer.

And so we looked, we saw there wasn't a seat,
and then we went to the bathroom and the guy's like, oh,
did you want to sit at the bar? I was like, yeah,
but there's not a seat where we can go get
a night cap at our hotel.

So we go to the bathroom.

We come out, there's a whole area at the bar
they've set up for us with reserve signs. And they
see us next to a guy they go, he's here's
so and so he's also friends of ownership, and I
was like, right, French of ownership, So like I don't know.

few years ago, I was, you know, mayan fiance and
I were doing a lot of research. Well he mostly
he was doing research on bitcoin, and he seemed to know,
like really what he was doing with it, and so
we decided to invest a lot of a fair amount

of money.

On bitcoin.

We went fifty to fifty and he said that he
was going to do well, he said, to grow it
in the future.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
You said, a few years ago you did this? Yeah, yeah,
and you rich Redge girl. Okay, well, so yeah, that's
my financial that's that's that's how I feel about that financially,
as your advisor, girl, you Ridge Ridge anyway, Okay, so
years ago you invested in this fifty to fifty then
what okay?
Speaker 5 (09:25):
So, which you know that's also what I thought. But
so okay, we're getting married, and like, as you know,
weddings are super expensive and at the moment, we're pretty
over budget, and so I asked him, you know, like, hey,
what about the bitcoin? Could we use some of that
to pay to the venue? And my fance reacted really weirdly,
(09:50):
and so like it took you know, I kind of
prodded him about it, and then he finally told me
that when he checked on our you know, on our account,
it had grown a lot and obviously and then he
cast it out and used it to pay apparently some
of our bills and then apparently also a vacation that

we took and I had I had no idea, and
so how much.

You invested, but since in the last five years it's
up one thousand percent, so whatever you invested it was
a ten x Like whatever you put in. I mean,
that's we're not talking about I don't know how many
coin you have or whatever, but like we're not talking
about an insignificant amount of money that he apparently decided
to delegate to something else. I mean, we're talking probably

tens of thousands of dollars.
Speaker 5 (10:43):
Well yeah, yeah, exactly, okay, yeah, and apparently it's all gone.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
It's all gone or like some of the inkrey and
he spent all of it.

And you know what, that's also a question that I have,
you know.

I mean, because if you bought one one coin is
worth one hundred and someventy thousand dollars. I think I
haven't looked recently. Let me see you what is one
coin worth? One bitcoin?
Speaker 2 (11:12):
My brain just like automatically shuts off. I don't understand,
Like I want to.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Understand why bitcoin value one hundred and eleven thousand dollars today?
I wish I could get it same why wish I
could have gone ten years ago one hundred and ten grand. Anyway,
So if you don't, so he took he took money
that is both of yours that he has access to.
He spent it on things that are for both of you.
But he did it without asking you if that's what

you wanted to spend it on. Yeah, huh. Now why
didn't you have access if you put half the money
in and it was growing at the rate that it
was growing. And I'm sure you sort of out of
the corner of your eye were watching this because you
can't really miss that that that you know, crypto is
has been pretty volatile. So I mean, why why did
you not ask for access to this account too, so

you could look at it, because I think I would,
you know, if I put half of something investment in
and there was a way to look at it, I'd
probably you know, take a little look see every now
and again.

Hear you there, and that's the way that I wish
I would have gone about it. But I guess I
kind of, in my mind was sort of going about
it and like sort of like a traditional way and
was sort of like, well, you know, I'm going to
be with this man, and I trust him, and you know,
he said he wants to take care of our finances.
So I just kind of, now that it's coming out

of my mouth, I kind of did, like blindly trusted
him with my money. And I feel like a fool.

Now let me ask you this, Kayla, because why I'm sorry,

Well, just now here I am on a radio show,
you about how my money was taken away from peop.

Well, there was nothing to be radio show for advice.
It's asolutely nothing. This is what we do and there's
nothing shameful here. But I guess you didn't do anything wrong.
But where did you think the money was coming from
to pay off these joint bills slash go on vacation.
So like, if not from there, did you just think

he had You just saw he had enough money to
pay for this stuff and didn't even consider that he
was dipping into that fund.

I didn't think much about the expenses. Like, we we
both have good jobs, we both work full time. He
does make more than me, and so I honestly I didn't.
I didn't see anything of it. It never crossed my mind.

Huh.

Yeah, this is interesting because like maybe you wouldn't have
gone on the vacation or chosen to pay the bills
if you had known that this was happening because you
were counting on this money for something else. So you
know what I mean. Like, so this guy's like, yeah
we can go on vacation, Sure, I got you, Or
let's go on vacation. Then he pays for it. But
if you had in my mind, if I'm with someone

and they say, hey, let's go on vacation, I'll cover it,
then you've got the money to pay for that. If
we're going into our savings to pay for it, that's
a different conversation that we have to have together. Exactly,
because then you have to ask yourself, is this vacation
worth it? Are these Is this the financially responsible thing
to do to pay these bills off? Right now? You
know there's a lot that goes into that. So, I mean,

you had a right to know when the money that
you that's half yours, was being spent in hell, in
my opinion, you had every right to know, even if
it benefited you.
Speaker 5 (14:34):
But he says that he used it on stuff for us,
and so he's.

Like, he doesn't.

I guess he's at a point where he doesn't understand
why I'm so mad about it.

I would also ask for a full accounting. I would
I would ask like, okay, great, so you spend all
of our bitcoin, which again I don't know how many
you had, if it was one or a part of
one or whatever, but we're not We're talking about probably
tens of thousands of dollars and a big increase over
when you bought it five years ago, so there was
a fair amount of money there. So I think i'd
also be like, hey, let me see where you spent it,
because that's a lot of I mean, I don't know

what kind of vacation you went on or what these
bills were, but like, unless it was a lot, then
I think he's I don't know where. I don't know
where he's.

Taking care of another family on his status.

to say about this. I don't think you can trust
this guy, and he's it's not for him to go

because why did you need to dip into our savings
