Speaker 1 (00:00):
He's the French Show. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. It's
time now for Jason Brown to give us his sports picks.
Is everyone ready? Week nine in the NFL. Jason Brown?
Are you ready? Yes, it's been a little shaky the
last few weeks, which is shocking.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
You know, the people rely on your picks. I'm blaming
re election the election. I'm blaming you're blaming the elections.
It's got my mind alled Jackson.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
You know, well that'll be over soon and then we
can get back to making incredible picks. Okay, okay, you
had one winning week, haven't you just won? Maybe two?
Maybe two? Maybe two? Yeah? Okay, Well, here we go
Week nine in the NFL. Jason Brown with his picks
and his can't Lose Parsleigh, which is brought to you
by Draft Queens dot Com. Yes, still no sponsor for

(00:50):
this segment. Unbelievable to the other day.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
And they're like, well, who's the sponsor? First first ro
I'm like, there isn't one. Yeah, that would be your job, someone, Yeah,
that would be that's that's actual your part of this,
believe it or not. We don't do everything. Okay, here
we go, Cowboys Falcons. Okay, Falcons.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Wow, that's actually probably a good pick. And you're going
against your boys, I know, have you finally figured out
they suck?

Speaker 2 (01:15):
I'm in partial and you guys tell me every week
that they're bad. So we're gonna go with the Falcons,
Okay of Philadelphia? Right, yeah, you'll think after nine weeks.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
But no, Patriots, Titans, Patriots, Raiders, Bengals, Raiders, Broncos, Ravens, Ravens, Chargers, Browns, Chargers, Saints, Panthers,
Sat Dolphins, Bills, doll Bills, the Dop the Bills, commander's giants.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Y'all tell me. I don't know her, but y'all tell
me the commanders are good. You want to commander the
commanders of that's right?

Speaker 3 (02:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Wow, you're so good, you're yeah, I don't know how
you remember? All right, Jaguars, Eagles, Squars are the Eagles, Eagles. Honestly,
this should have been a slam dunk. But Bears, Cardinals, Cardinals,
let's go. I don't I don't think that, Okay, I

(02:30):
don't think that's going to work. But the Bears are Bears, Rams, Seahawks,
and the Seahawks. We're going to go with the Rams,
the Lions, and the Packers, I mean, oh god, Lions, Colts, Vikings, Vikings, okay,
and on Monday, Buccaneers and the Chiefs Chiefs obviously, yeah, okay,

(02:53):
and they can't lose Parslay.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Oh yeah, that so Cairo Santos is not going to
miss a kick this week, but they're still gonna lose.
I like Tua on.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
The Dolphins controversial comeback this season. Yeah, he's gonna score two.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Wow, okay, the Bills that you said, yes, the Bills
are going to score three and okay, right, well that
certainly that's a part of it, just just to okay.
And then the third thing is I like Chubb, Yeah,

(03:36):
gonna catch three times?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Oh? Nick Chubb is going to catch three times? Oh yeah, okay,
all right, Well put some respect on Chubb. What he does?
He play for? Chubb? Yeah, I don't know. You just
like his name, It really doesn't matter. Yeah, could you
not like a guy named Chubb? Mister Chubb? Okay? Yeah,

(03:58):
what's for the Browns? Oh? Okay, Boston, Yes, the Boston routes. Yeah,
Nick Chubb at the Boston Rounds. Yeah, that's exactly right.
All right, Jason, Well, thank you for the picks. Please
bet at your own risk. If you have a problem,
there's a number to call. Call it. And if you
like to sponsor this, I don't know why you wouldn't,
but if you'd like to sponsor this, it's available wide Why,

(04:19):
clearly wide open. It's the Fred Show.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Ever been left waiting by the phone?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
It's the Fred Show. Hey, Vinnie, good morning, Welcome to
the show. How are you hey, I'm doing okay, I'm
doing okay. How are yourself doing great? And we're here
to help with this situation? What's going on with this woman? Zara?
Why don't you explain? Yeah? How you mad about any
dates you've been on? And then what's happening right now?

Speaker 4 (04:47):
I'm just I'm just confusing. I'm no spring chicken. I've
been dating. I'm still a young guy, but I've been
dating for a bit, so I get it. I get
the culture. I met her on the apps, you know,
as one does classic blay meets girl, and.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
It was becoming classic Yeah, honestly.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Yeah, And you know, like I said, listen, I understand ghosting.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
I do.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
But we went on three dates, okay, three full dates,
So I feel like after three dates you can't. You
can't just you can't just go completely ghost on someone.
You have to have an explanation. It's just completely uncourteous.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I agree with this theory. By the way. I think
after a date, maybe maybe two dates, I think you
can kind of just part ways. But I would say,
you know, when you get to the third fourth date
area is when maybe we have a conversation, you know,
maybe we say goodbye, maybe we say hey, it's not
for me, you know that kind of thing.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
Yeah, that's all I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
You get it, you get it. So I just I don't.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
Know how she can just completely ignore all my texts
on my calls.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
And I'm not trying to hunt her too much, but
I want answers. I think I'm entitled to an explanation.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Yeah, so this one has disappeared. So let's see if
we can get Zara on the phone. You'll be on
the phone as well. We're gonna ask some questions. Maybe
we can straighten this out. That's always the whole and
if so, we'll pay for in this case, a fourth date.
So stay right there, Vidy, we'll do it next. Let's
see what happens next Part two. Avoiding by the phone
after this song on the Fred showed. Hey, Vinny, Hey,

(06:12):
all right, let's call Zara. You guys, I met on
one of the apps. You went on three dates. This
is not a one date situation. And then the ghost
singer two. This is three You went out three times.
So you would imagine, or you would think that everything
was going well, except now you can't get a hold
of Zara and you want to know why exactly exactly.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
Yeah, you'd think you'd think things are going well.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
So all right, well let's call her now see if
we can figure this out. Good luck. Hello, Hi is
this Zara?

Speaker 5 (06:44):
Yeah, it is.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Hi's our good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling
from the Fred Show, the morning radio show, and I
do have to tell you that we are on the
radio right now, and I would need your permission to
continue with the call. Sod okay if we chat for
just a minute on the show.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
Oh yeah, sure, okay.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Well thank you so much. That we're calling on behalf
of a guy named Vinnie. I guess you guys met
on the apps and you went on he says three dates.
So I assume you remember this guy Vinnie.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
Oh yeah, yeah, I remember him.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Okay, So what happened with him? Because he called us
and told us that he liked you a lot and
was excited about where things were going. I mean, three dates,
that's usually a pretty good sign. He says, though, that
since the third date, you haven't responded to him, he
can't get a hold of you. He feels like he's
being ghosted. Is that what's happening?

Speaker 5 (07:30):
Well, I mean the.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
First two dates were great, and I really liked him
and I was excited and I thought, oh, maybe this
could be something real. And then on the third date,
we decided to go back to his place to you know,
like hook up, and I asked him if he had
any protection and he said, oh, oh, I thought you
had an iud.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Oh, well that doesn't what doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
And I said to him, like, that doesn't matter, Like,
I still need you to be wearing protection to keep
both of us safe. And then he got really defensive
and weird, and he was like, oh, so so you're
hooking up with other people?

Speaker 5 (08:04):
And I said, Okay, this is gross. No.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
No, I mean it wouldn't matter if you were you weren't.
That has nothing to do with it. Actually, I would
say the primary concern is, like where have we been before? Right?
You know, it's like that whether or not you're hooking
up with other people, that would that that would be
a secondary sort of concern to what's happening between us
right right this second. And I guess also, then what

(08:29):
obligation do you have to him not to hook up
with other people because you aren't together?

Speaker 6 (08:33):
Right?

Speaker 5 (08:33):
We're not we're we're in a couple. We're not a couple.
We've never been a couple. And it just it was
like such a red flag of like, what do you do?

Speaker 1 (08:39):
There's my layers of issues here. We've got the assumption,
we've got the defensiveness, we've got then this sort of
I guess, the control kind of thing, and all without communication.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
Yeah, well, let me creepy obnoxious.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Sorry, let me let me ask Vinny about this, because
I Vinnie is here, and I fail to mention that,
and I sometimes get carried away and forget any why
I mean, why why there's a few issues here. First
of all, I was just called creepy and obnoxious. I'm not.
I'm not thrilled about that, you know on the radio,
But listen, in fairness, you don't you don't really get

(09:13):
to like say that you're offended by something on the
radio because we're here, because you asked us to do this,
so like, I mean, your own risk, honestly, with all
due respect.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
With all due respect, I never insulted her, and with
all due respect, I am confused by all of your confusion.
I mean, I just, I just I don't really understand.
I thought it was a pretty innocuous question. We talked already.
You know, the fact that she had an IUD came up.
You know, we came up in an earlier company. We
were kind of prepping for this this special more intimates
their date, right, and so it already come.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Up in conversation.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
I thought we already have that conversation about protection.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
And I'm still I'm confused.

Speaker 5 (09:49):
I don't understand what you're saying.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
If you're not hooking up with other people, and do
you use that birth control?

Speaker 1 (09:54):
I don't. I just don't understand the issue.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
I thought that we had already kind of covered those basism.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Sorry, did you you tell this? Did you tell this
man about your you know, sort of birth control method?
And then did you then tell him that he wouldn't
have to worry about anything on his end? Is that
what took place.

Speaker 7 (10:10):
Uh, No, I did tell him about my IUD, but
I didn't tell him.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Oh, but it's fine to just not use protection.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Case to be clear, that would that would put hopefully
probably prevent a pregnancy, but it wouldn't prevent other things
from potentially happening. That you know that you're not covered
you do. It's not like you know, it's not a
you're not wrapped in latex when you when you have
one of those installed.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
Don't get it.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
You already have protection though, so would from pregnancy, right, bro?

Speaker 1 (10:43):
Like, what are we like are we doing high school?

Speaker 6 (10:46):
No?

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Like am I a pe teacher trying to teach you
about sex? Like? What's going on? Man? Vinnie? Do you
do you know? Yeah, listen, I'm all about safe sex.
But like it's like, you know, you don't use two
condoms likes.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
Use two things that's going to.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
Counteract are uds for pregnancy. I think you may have
a fundamental misunderstanding about what how this all works, which
is all the more reason why protection might be in order.
But that's why that's why I asked if she was
looking up with.

Speaker 5 (11:18):
Other people, so that you know that was I was
trying to be respectful.

Speaker 1 (11:20):
So then because you know, if she's not, then it's
not a problem. I don't think that's an unfair question
in itself, but when combined with you're doing this so
I don't have to do that, also that means and
also it's a little premature. I mean again, to have
any to have an adult conversation about these kind of
things before you engage in that kind of activity is fair.

(11:41):
But I think it's and Zara, I don't mean to
put words in your mouth, you tell me. I think
it's kind of the way that it all went down.
That's the problem. It's the assumptions and then the oh wait,
what do you mean when none of that's been outlined.

Speaker 7 (11:52):
Absolutely, yeah, yeah, since I mean just it's I first
of all, it's like, we're not a couple.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
We've never been a couple.

Speaker 7 (12:00):
And to assume that I'm hooking up with number of
people with other people number one and.

Speaker 5 (12:04):
Then number two basic safe sex, like no, you need to.

Speaker 7 (12:07):
Wear protection as well because I am covered on the
pregnancy part. And then you know, hopefully most of the
time the i U D work and I do that
for myself, but I think for both of us it's
important to have protection part two.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
You have a look on you see you're puzzled, You're fuddled.

Speaker 8 (12:23):
I mean just I'm shocked that he's out here living
like this, Like, have you ever been to the clinic?

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Bro? Has it ever burned? Yeah? There does seem to
be a bit of a misunderstanding about what what all
is going on here. It's not like an I U. D.
Is not like a like a laser that just kills
everything in its past. It's be awesome, but wouldn't it

(12:48):
be Yeah? Yeah, pat that why.

Speaker 5 (12:51):
Do they call it protect?

Speaker 1 (12:52):
They call it protection for a reason. I don't think
you can't be serious. This is bad. To give him
the birds and the beast, right, we do? We need
to send this man to some form of sex end class.
I guess all right, Zora, Look, I'll ask, but any
interest in in a fourth date? I mean it kind
of appears that you just blew it, Vinnie. Honestly, things

(13:14):
were going fine, you were inches away. I guess I
just I'm still so confused. I really I can tell
go to the clinic, right, you need a whole tune up. Yeah,
they got YouTube videos about this, and you YouTube not that.
Don't put to any other sites. Zora, are you you're done?

(13:35):
I just we're not.

Speaker 5 (13:36):
No, no second date, nope, okay, all right, no fourth date?
Nothing right anyway, right right.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Zara, thank you for your time. Good luck, Vinnie, best
of luck to you as well. It's the Fresh Show.
Do you have what it takes to battle show biz?

Speaker 2 (13:53):
Shelley in the show Biz Showdown Mama Show.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
So if you missed it, she's Shelley. He's having a
baby boy, baby number two big or I suppose little
brother to baby Olivia. Yes, how does she take their news?

Speaker 8 (14:12):
She doesn't get it, Like just we say, where's the
baby mommy's belly? But I don't think she understand it's
like her brother. Oh so I bet there'll be a
very big.

Speaker 5 (14:22):
Transition period for her.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Oh yeah it really Yeah, baby crying, Dad, go get
the baby. Got a name? Got a name? That's kind
of funny. That's me. Now, I don't know the girl's crying. Well,

(14:44):
the girl's my sister, Amanda, she's thirty five or something
like that. Yeah, I know, so Olivia's tune. I'm so
bad with these ages. Everything's gone two and a half. Yeah,
everything happens so quickly around I'm trying to keep tracking
everybody's kids and spouses and everything else. But so Polly
was I guess around that age, and she did just fine.

(15:05):
Now it was another girl, which I actually maybe the
girl part would have made it. I thought maybe a
little more competitive, right, But no, she seems to be
doing really well with it. So hopefully the SAME's true
for you. Oh, I hope, So, I hope so, because
I thought for sure we were gonna have a little
monster on our hands because Polly was so used to
everything being about Polly. And but no, she's been doing
really well with it. And so you wait, when Mavee
gets older and maybe can walk and talk, those two

(15:28):
will have their time. Yeah, or like when they're both
in high school at the same time. Oh my god,
my brother in law is so screwed. He's gonna have
three of them. Oh man, God bless him. That's what
I'm going to see him in Chicago a lot. I
need to come to Chicago for bid. You don't have
any business here, Yes I do. Matt is back, assistant principal,

(15:50):
Matt him, Matt the Carol's stream. What was it that
the Cheetahs? All right, Paulina gets back. We got a
task for her because we haven't had a drop from
Paul len in sometime now, so.

Speaker 5 (16:03):

Speaker 7 (16:04):
I'll give you that my email, you.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Guys, okay, well good, we'll play it on the radio.
Don't worry. But you know, all the Songhakey writes are
so easy to remember that you'll be just roll off
the top. Yeah. The kids, the kids will learn it
very quickly. I'm sure, like the radio station name being
in your school. Yeah exactly. Yeah, what school fights on
doesn't have kiss Fminador or whatever else? All right, let's play.

(16:25):
It's the price is what we have? Eight hundred bucks
is the price today? Good luck, guys, Okay, good luck?
All right, Shelley, with all due respect, get the hell out.

And I can't hang with the grill.

Speaker 1 (19:02):

Speaker 6 (19:03):
You can't hang with the birthday chilly thirty, some mob.

Speaker 8 (19:16):
O thinks, reminding me. Yeah, so it always happened, you
guys military mic like has been working on any major holiday,
any whatever.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
It's okay.

Speaker 8 (19:33):
So Mama Show is going to hang out. I'll be
hanging out with Olivia. We'll have just like a little gathering.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
And I think what's wild is he just took a
shirtless pick with Paulina in Hawaii, So I don't know.
I don't know what he's doing there. I don't know
what military mic is always in a tropical location. He
always gets stationed, you know, in the sexiest place with
his shirt off. I think it's undercover work that he's doing.
Is that what it is? Potentially? Yeah, that's like you

(19:59):
know more than me. Well that's what it is. Yeah,
all right, Hey, Matt, great job, Hang on one second, Okay,

Speaker 1 (20:10):
We're very excited for you in your your motherhood quest
as it continues. And god, it is crazy that you
weren't even planning because I remember I kept asking, like,
you know, like the annoying person, you're gonna have more,
You're gonna.

Speaker 8 (20:21):
Have more, And you're like, I didn't know for like
two months. Like that's how naive I was. I had
no idea. I like almost just found out myself.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (20:32):
Wow, that's yes, it is saying unplanned.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Yeah, baby boy. Well congratulations, that's amazing, and have a
great birthday.

Speaker 5 (20:40):
Thank you so much. You guys have a good weekend,
you too.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
Bye. It's the friendship friend's fun fact Fred fun so bad. Guys,
you know that the Titanic tragedy almost happened in another form,
like three days before the one that we all know about.

(21:06):
Did you know this, scaleen, you're a Titanic lady. No,
I knew.

Speaker 9 (21:09):
There's lots of conspiracy theories of whether or not that
was even the ship or anything, but I didn't know
the house.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
So just days before the Titanic struck an Iceberg and
sank in April of nineteen twelve, it almost hit another boat.
According to a letter from a steward that was written
on the doom ship's stationary so right into his wife
one day after setting sail from the United Kingdom, The
guy who died in the tragedy mentioned that as the
ship was leaving the docket narrowly miscolliding with another boat,

(21:36):
which I guess could have sunk it right there, which
people's going on with that. People may have been able
to survive that, but I don't know. So we got
away yesterday after a lot of trouble. Reads the letter,
which was auctioned off by the way in twenty nineteen.
As we were passing the New York and Oceanic, the
New York broke her robes and verily, very nearly ran
into us, but we just happened to avoid a collision.

(21:57):
It must have been a trying time for the captain,
so I don't know that. Maybe wasn't the captain's fault.
But the point is they almost ran into another boat
in the harbor on their way out to whatever shipwreck.

Speaker 9 (22:10):
A listener sent me a book written in the year
that the Titanic sank, about the Titanic, and it is
still like my most prized possession ever.

Speaker 5 (22:18):
This is very old book, and I love it.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
But there you go. There's a little talk about a
fun fact. The tragedy could have happened days before. But
maybe then people would have been able to swim right
to land or something. I don't know. I don't know.
But now now you got a party trick. You can
tell everybody about it.

Speaker 9 (22:35):
Guys want me to bring the mood down everybody.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
They could have died before
