Speaker 1 (00:00):
Cawen's Entertainment Report and he's on the Fread show The.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
B I seems to think that they figured out what
the next album in Beyonce's three part trilogy will be,
and if this is true, let.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
It be known. I called it like a year ago.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
But during her Cowboy Carter tour, which began this week,
there was some sort of interlude that plays and no
one really knows what it is. Everything else is accounted for.
We've heard it before, but no one knows where this
came from. And the song the interlude is giving very
much rock music the leading things to a thing that
the next.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Album will be rock, will be iconic.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
So if you didn't know, Renaissance was part one, and
it was in the trilogy, and it was dance music
dedicated to the contributions from the LGBTQ community. Now Cowboy Carter,
of course, which is the tour she's on now, is
obviously country and a nod to contributions from black artists
to country music.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Now we might be getting a rock.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
And roll albums Moore said, kind of like rage rock making.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
I would hope that's what I would hope. I mean,
because she has very good breakup songs. I mean even
on Lemonade, there's a couple of songs that I could see,
you know, you put a rock beat on it, and
she has a beautiful voice, so maybe like a Hailey
Williams vibes.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
And I worked with Jack White on Lemonade too, so
like that was amazing vibe me to put that on her,
like it was sound like Atlanta's More said, But I
mean that's that's what I think of, like that vocal quality,
strong female and rockets, that's what it comes to mind.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
I would love that and maybe some collaborations too. Yeah,
Keik has been wearing the graphic tea for some time now.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
I don't know where she got it and made it.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Today is Elena's More said? How many Atlanta's songs? Do
you know? All of it?

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Sho single one? I am here for that.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
You know what that may have to be. Maybe I'll
throw out what we had and we'll move on to
that different next week.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Yes, yeah, we'll have to. Jason and I have to
be tied to the chair like tape over her mouth.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
You guys watch our bus drive off the road. But
next hours at lettis Moore Sat Hour.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
We know good music Okay, the biggest regret of his life.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
You guys, Nike is selling dirty air Force ones for
one hundred and thirty bucks.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Really, so yes, they released the statement that really buy.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Those new you know you're like, dad, joke, did you
buy those with holes in it?

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Ride your motorcycle here?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Oh, by the way, speaking of which I don't mean to,
I don't know if it's true. I don't know if
it's true. I don't know if it's true. But I
saw on TikTok that they're coming out with Jordan one legos,
like a Jordan one shoe. That's fair to build the lego.
You know that's happening over at the fred Allisol We're
gonna get wild.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Listen. It's good to have goals and dress it is.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Anyway, sorry I continue, but I saw that it was
like even Kla would like that one Jordan one. I
would put favorite shoe of all time next to Vans. Yeah,
oh they need a Van one too.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
So speaking of the shoes, they yesterday posted this statement
that ride but you're only scratching the surface. Here is
the Nike air Force one, dirty triple white. The more
you wear it, the more beautiful it becomes.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Is that simple.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
It's black and white. We put a toothbrush in there too.
In case you want to take things into your own hands,
do your thing. Make these af ones you purse your
own personal time machine. Dirty Triple White and dirty triple
black drop on five to seven exclusively on the sneakers
app only in the US if you want to save
some money. Though, my sister and all her friends have
dirty ones that they did if I just wear them

(03:23):
to every festival. I don't know something with the gen
zs and dirty white Air Force ones. They love them,
but for some reason, you want to buy them dirty.
You can do that.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Coming up, I'll sell you ones I've worn their size fifteen,
but I'll sell them to you and they're dirty, and
I'll just go buy the same ones and they'll be
clean again.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
I'll where every sock I own inside those shoes, I
can wear them. I would like to see you around
in fifteen. So the way that I walked around in
fifteen heels, well, I tried your size fifteen heels on.
I think I might still have a photo before I
gave them to you. My foot took up the front part.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
It's crazy and it's true. I did wear size fifteen
heels that you got that were designed for a man
who might enjoy dressing as a woman. Yeah, and I
was for Pride Festival, wasn't it. I had to do
like a little spow run and I am. I continue
to be amazed. I have, I had, I always had
an appreciation for the heel, but I never I never

(04:13):
really understood how difficult it is. But add that to
the list of things as women that I guess you
just as a young person, you just you just accept
that that's how it is, that this is the fashion,
this is what I'm gonna do, and you just do it.
Because now as a grown man walking around on those things,
I would kill myself. See yeah, I don't mean I
would kill myself. I would like I would actually like
fall over it, crack my head open or something.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Yeah, it's not ideal.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
It's very, very difficult to walk in.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Im numbing cream that sometimes I put on my feet
like before I wear shoes, which shouldn't be a thank you,
but it is. Leslie Jack Black's Minecraft movie song Steve's
Lava Chicken, has become the shortest song to ever enter
the Billboard Hot one hundred chart. The song, which clocks
in at thirty four seconds, debuted at number seventy eight
on the Hot one hundred. The song also reached number
ten on the Hot Rock Songs chart. Steve's Lava Chick

(05:00):
and now holds the record for the shortest song ever
on the charts, and he took the record from Kid
Cuddie's Beautiful Trip, which has a runtime of thirty seven seconds.
Jack Back makes the most annoying music of all time,
but it is charting now and it.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Is very short.

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
