Speaker 1 (00:00):
Calin's entertainment report. He's on the Preads Show.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
A report posted by The Athletic claims at least eight
men who work for or used to work for the
Detroit Tigers, their parent company, or related partners committed misconduct
towards female staffers, things like harassment, abuse, or discrimination. Some
of those accused are CEOs or senior in the company,

(00:24):
vice presidents, high level managers, and examples of the allegations
are unwanted comments, inappropriate behavior, discrimination and treatment, talking about
appearance or dress code, and a culture that females say
is a male dominated culture.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
One of the people is actually a man.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Who was speaking to The Athletic wanted to remain anonymous,
of course. And some are saying that some of these
people have already been fired, some are still there, with
one I think most recently leaving in April for something
similar to what is being accused of, but it's obviously
still developing. I mean, that's a lot in one organization.
Speaking of sports, Travis Kelce is owning up to his

(01:05):
role in that collision that forced Xavier Worthy out of
the Chiefs Week one loss to the Chargers. The tight
End shared his regret over the freak accident during the
latest New Heights episode with his brother Jason yesterday, and he.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Took full accountability.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Said, I wasn't ready that first drive, ran into one
of my guys and often out of the game.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
I literally took out one of my players. He said.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
That's one of the most frustrating parts. It's hard to
get your juices back knowing you just heard a guy.
Jason kind of pressed him to go into more depths
depth today. Is really a struggle for me to talk
depth on the actual place you I don't know, Like,
where is my Greek princess energy.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
We need the great guy to come out right there.
You can do it. Where are you Poseidon?

Speaker 2 (01:51):
He went on to say that he feels like spit
after the play. Buddy hopes that the second year pass
catcher gets back to full health as soon as the Chiefs,
you know, need him out on that field. But of
course people are blaming Taylor Swift because in her New
Heights episode she.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Talked about how excited she.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Was when they drafted Xavier Worthy and she's so powerful
that two years later it's her fault that he.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Got injured and kicked out of a game.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
So just going to leave that right there, and Kodak
Black filmed himself driving down the I ninety five in
Miami while appearing to sip cough syrup through a straw.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
But his lawyer says it was just a joke.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Okay, it's a silly joke. The incident was captured on
video that of course went viral. It shows him without
a shirt on behind the wheel of a car, and
he's bragging about sipping that drink wrong, you got a cough?

Speaker 1 (02:36):
I think the allergy season down there or something like that. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
He then flashes a bottle which appears to me to
be containing promethazine, which you know, we don't know what's
really in there. I don't know why he's showing is
that that's a prescription drug for you know, a cough. It's
cough syrup that can be used as a drug called
lean if you are not familiar. So his lawyer is
now saying he should not be charged because he was

(02:59):
being funny.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
It was juice. He thought it was gonna be that's it.
That's a very creative lawyer. I like that he was
just kidding. I was just joking with all of that. Yeah,
he was trolling social media I did perfectly understandable. You
know what, it happens. It happens.
