So i'ld you yesterday that jury selection is officially underway
for Ditty's upcoming eight week criminal trial, where he's facing
charges like sex trafficking and racketeering. Central jurors were asked
about a list of celebrities like Kanye West, Kid Cuddy,
and Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child, and the judge even

joked that it felt like reading an appendix from Lord
of the Rings, which we're joking apparently at this trial. Remember,
singer Cassie and ex to Ditty, will take the stand
to test by under her real name.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Other women are tested buying under Jane Doe her twenty
twenty three lawsuit Goo. Cassie sparked the avalanche of allegations
against him. She's very, very brave, and that horrific video
of Ditty beating her will be shown to the jury.

Although he's not being specifically.

Charged for what was happening in the video, Ditty's staying
behind bars starting the trial. He skipped his last chance
last week for a plea deal and things kicked off,
said yesterday, But he told the judge as it was starting.

Switching yours to Benson Boone, who's going on tour this fall.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
The American Heart Arena Tour is going to feature stops
in thirty cities. It starts in August in Minnesota and
wraps up in October at the Delta Center in Salt
Lake City. General public tickets go on sale this Friday
at ten am local time. He also announced that his
sophomore album, American Heart, is going to drop on June twentieth.
If you have not seen him, highly recommend.

And he's also so so nice, a wonderful person, and
they make fun of him on ESNL and this season
a couple times. It's very funny. I think he was
on ESNL over the weekend actually too during weekend up date.

And lastly, the met Gala went down from New York
last night. If you didn't know, it is an annual
invitation only charity gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art,
thrown by miss Anna wind Tour of Vogue Magazine. Each year,
there's a theme tied into the cost Fume Institute's new exhibit,
which this year was super fine tailoring Black style. It

was a major nod to the influence of black men
in fashion, specifically dandyism, which is defined as a style
and attitude characterized by meticulous attention to personal appearance, refined manners,
and preference for leisure.

I have a preference for leisure. Also, it was the
first time since two thousand and three that the team
was centered around men's wear, which was really cool to see.
Some of my personal best dress were Keiki Palmer Ao
at a Berry, Shahboozi who like I didn't know you
could dress like that, Shabuzi Andre three thousand were a piano,
an actual piano co chair, Pharrell wore a suit made

out of fifteen thousand pearls, and Rihanna debuted a very
adorable baby bump. She is expecting another baby, her third
baby with Asab Rocky. I feel like she's pumped.

Out more babies in the last year than I've accomplished anything.
She was photographed with her cute little bump at the
Carlisle Hotel before them met Gala, and then while on
the red carpet. Of course, Prescott the word they were
asking asap about it. He confirmed and then Rihanna came
much later in the night, as she always does. I
feel like she's like the last one to walk the carpet,
