A man claiming to have been Will Smith's pal for
nearly four decades, bealal Salam, filed a three million dollar
lawsuit this week accusing Jada Pinkett Smith of threatening his life.
According to the complaint, the alleged confrontation took place at
Will's birthday party back in September of twenty twenty one,
when Jada and a group of about seven people supposedly

surrounded him in a hotel lobby and warned him that
he would quote end up missing or catch a bullet
if he kept telling her personal business.

backlash over her latest discussion about going no contact with
family members, and it's I mean, that's already a conversation
that you know, people are going to have heated feelings over,

but she's being accused of inappropriately framing the debate for
her podcast.

So she first kicked off the conversation.

She uploaded I don't know if you guys saw it,
a video to her Instagram account for her twenty two
and a half million followers to tease the episode. She said,
around one third of Americans have cut ties with their
family and that once considered taboo, going no contact with
your family is now being openly discussed by people of
all ages. People are now redefining what healthy boundaries look

like in family dynamics, and she explained that guests experts
would be talking about adult children who have cut off
their parents, and then parents who have been a strange
I don't know, you know how you become an expert
in that area, maybe a therapist or something. But after
the episode aired, viewers and listeners felt she approached this
whole debate the wrong way. Many people questioned why the

idea was presented as a broader trend rather than a
personal boundary shaped by an individual experience. And with this,
of course, everybody had an opinion Online. One person wrote,
I understand why people go no contact. I don't understand
why Oprah is showcasing it in this way that makes
it seem like a cult. Another person said, dear Oprah,
shut up. You have no clue about what people.

and calling no contact a trend is just letting abusers
keep abusing. I've seen a lot of people discuss it

like saying it's okay, rather than talking about why it happens. So,

And Leslie Kelsey Ballerini is shutting down all those rumors.
After weeks of online chatter about her breakup with Chase Stokes,
I mean he kind of included us in that. She
posted a message to fans saying she's in a steady
and happy place, which is definitely what I say when
I'm a steady and happy place. And once her personal
life kept private, she stressed that unless someone comes directly

This comes after, you know, they sparked their reunion buzz
when they were spotted holding hands in Croatia, followed by

keeping her real life offline. But certainly something was going
