Speaker 1 (00:00):
Entertainment report he is on the Bread Show.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
I think I think my grandfather was a bit of
a playboy. I think he liked the ladies.

Speaker 3 (00:06):
You know, but you flirt with your mom? No, he
would love for her, like to flirt with the other ladies, right.

Speaker 4 (00:11):
No.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
I think I think if my mom had been like, hey,
can I wear this, he would have been like, sure, honey,
Like yeah, No. I think he was kind of he
was a bit of a play He liked the ladies. Yeah,
my grandfather liked the ladies.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
But your family ladies.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Well, he's not related to her. Wait. Wait, wait, it's
my dad's dad.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Oh, okay, I don't, I don't.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
My mom's dad would not was First of all, he
doesn't have a preble heart.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
And second all, he wouldn't flirt with his daughter.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Which grandfather.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Okay, I thought it would be assumed that my there was.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
No we were getting confused.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
I thought it would be assumed that my mom's dad
wouldn't flirt with his daughter.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
But I don't know. I mean, you know, families are strange.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
When I was visiting my grandpa in the hospital, he
would tell all the nurses that I was his younger
girlfriend just to be funny, but he wouldn't actually flirt
with me.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
But he didn't know what you were saying.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
So Grandpa John, I think was a bit of a
He didn't he didn't follow the rules.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
Now I love that. Yeah, yeah, that's okay. Yeah offramp,
okay with.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Your purple heart in the buck somewhere. Yeah, all right,
take it away. K.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
In a new interview with Variety, Sabrina Carpenter once again
said no she did not have to ask Taylor Swift
for permission to do that Skims campaign. She said, well,
Taylor's a rock star. She's such a gangster with all
of it. No matter what people are saying, everything that
I've ever seen her tackle, she's done.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
It with grace.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
The post about me having to ask her for permission, No,
she's one of my best best friends and we grabbed
dinner and text and catch up like you would do
with your best friend. As for her smash hit Espresso,
she said that she was the only one who wanted
to release that as her lead single, like her whole
label didn't want that, but they trusted her and dropped
it and the rest was history.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Now we know the man who decides these singles.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
He also missed out on Cruel Summer the first time around,
so maybe listen to.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
These ladies, these men, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
As for the other banger, Please Please Please, and the
music video, her boyfriend Barry Keegan, who the song is about,
said he loved it. He's obsessed with the lyrics. I'm
grateful for that, she said. I don't want to sound biased.
I think he's one of the best actors of this generation.
So getting to see him on screen with my song
as the soundtrack make the video better and all the
more special.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
He was in the music video if you haven't seen it.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Also said she would not discuss the love triangle between she,
Olivia Rodrigu and Joshua Bassett, which I love when celebrities
do this because that's a confirmation.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Oh yeah, that it's true.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Oh yeah, right, Like if you.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Don't talk about something like them, we're like, okay. There's
a reason obviously. As for her Disney acting days, if
you didn't know she used to be on Disney, she
said she's always looking for scripts, hopes to be in
a musical or a film sometime soon. She said, I'm
nine hundred inappropriate jokes away from being a Disney actor.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
But people still see me that way.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
I'm always extremely flattered to be grouped in with other
women and girls who have idolized and look up to
who came from that, But i feel very distant from
it now.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
So there you go. She's the girl right now.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
In music news, well other music news, I should say,
Drake shared one hundred gigabytes of unreleased content, which includes
unseen album covers, clips from studio sessions, and three new
songs featuring Young Thug, twenty one Savage and Lotto. Fans
noticed that Drake was following this random Instagram called plot
to Twist with.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
All these teas.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
The account was taken off private, and Drake posted the
link to the leak songs on a story. It's called
one hundred gigs for your Head Tap. It's the title.
Lots of folders of content we haven't seen yet. Also
in music news, singer Monica, who blessed us with one
of the greatest songs of all time, Angel of Mine,
is going country.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Yes, She's going country.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
The album is called Open Roads and it is produced
by Brandy Carlile, one of Jason's favorites. Two years ago,
she told Entertainment Tonight. But our longtime love for country.
She said she fell in love with Dolly Parton after
her stepdad took her to Dollywood, and she said when
she would sing country songs, she would be told, no,
that's not what you do.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
But she's about to show them, just like Beyonce did.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
Monica's also set to drop an R and B album
called MDA. Both albums are set to be released later
this year. So we have some new music coming. And
if you want to catch up on anything you missed
from The Fred Show, you can do so on the
