Speaker 3 (00:43):
If you want to break from talking about Taylor Swift,
You're not going to get it here because I tell
you on to be the Super Bowl halftime performer. Performer
for her have gone up since her appearance on the
New Heights podcast last week. This trade company called call
Well she kl Shi was giving Taylor just a six
(01:03):
percent chance to perform the halftime show as of last Monday,
but after appearing on the podcast for odds have gone
up as high as sixty five percent. Swifties believe that
she dropped several hints during the podcast, like going on
and on about sourdough. Apparently there was a reason, or
maybe there was a reason, this year's Super Bowl will
be held in Santa Clara, where the Fourner forty nine
(01:25):
ers play and the mascot is Sourdough Sam, which I
had no idea. Other hints included her thinking about sourdough
bread quote sixty percent of the time, and this season
Super Bowl will be number sixty. Also, after Jason gave
her that long intro, she thanked him for quote screaming
for like forty seven seconds. Levi's stadium also happened to
(01:48):
be the forty seventh stop on her eras tour. I
also saw another football theory where someone pointed out that
you remember the teaser where she's like, I like your
sweatshirt and he's like, yeah, it's blue like your eyes,
and they were really emphasizing the blue. Well, someone pointed
out that it was a similar shade to what the
Lions wear. It's called Honolulu Blue. And then during the podcast,
she brought up Jared Goff, the Lions quarterback. If you
(02:11):
look up the day that the Lions play the Chiefs,
it's October twelfth in Kansas City, So that date may
be something.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Girls like how you like how you think you're like?
Someone said, no, it was you and Jason with a
transcript in a conference room last week. I saw you
on Friday going through it word for word. Yeah, I
like someone air quotes. Yeah right.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
We had protractors, Yeah, we had rulers.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
We were we were.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Full blown analysts.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Figured it out. That is crazy.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
So here's my only hesitation on this theory is and
Trevis talked about this in his g Q article, But
people have been accusing him of slipping and focusing on
other stuff and that's why he had a bad season.
And he kind of admitted it in that article, being like,
it's not that I didn't care about football. It said
I was giving too many things one hundred percent. And
so that's why he was back in Florida to train
with the guy who initially trained him to be in
(03:02):
the NFL. He's like, I need to be better for
my guys this season. So I just wondered, there's so
much pressure on him to be better, it could turn
really bad if like he doesn't make it to the
super Bowl or if like he I don't know. That's
my only hesitation, but I know people are hoping for
that and think that's happening. By the way, Taylor said
she also worked with Max Martin on this new album,
(03:23):
The Absolute Legend. And speaking of Max, he went to
see the Backstree Boys at the Sphere over the weekend
and they gave him a really big shout out with
how he's saying he's helped us create our legacy and
the soundtrack to our lives. He wrote all those hit
songs that we get a chance to sing for you guys.
We are indebted to mister Max Martin and he if
you don't know about him, he recently was named Billboard's
Top Producer of the twenty first century. And he is
(03:45):
a Swedish hit maker who has worked with the Backstory
Boy since the very beginning, writing and producing their very
first debut single, We've Got To Going On, which was
dropped in September of nineteen ninety five. He went on
to work on iconic BSB hits like I Want It
that Way, Everybody, Backstreets, back, Shape of My Heart, just
to name a few. So he is a legend and
(04:05):
also worked on Taylor's album with her.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
And English is not his first language, which is why
apparently I want it that way. Does it make a
whole lot of sense? Right, Because then when they went
and tried to make it make sense, it was like, nah,
we'll go with the version that doesn't make sense. It
sounds better.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Yeah, I don't ever want to hear you say I
want it that way.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
No, I don't ever want that either ever.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
And this is the story I teased. Riley Green went
on the Pat McAfee show and told a story about
how early in his career he was denied the opportunity
to open for Travis Tritt because he didn't have enough
Facebook followers. At the time, Riley said he had very
minimal social media presence and he was still working in construction.
He was literally framing houses during the week he needed
(04:47):
to pay his bills. He said he was unaware of
the industry's emphasis on online followings for booking decisions. Today,
he has over two point five million Instagram followers, one
point six on TikTok, seven hundred and fifty three thousand
on Facebook, and one hundred and sixty thousand on x
But that is a very silly reason.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Not to let someone open up. But he showed them
because they wouldn't let us open for Travis Tridd either.
So if you would take a second, it's a Fred
Show Radio. Search for The Fred Show in all the
different places because we're aspiring to open for a Kiki,
especially for Travis Trip. If my life depends on it,
please go follow us.

Yeah, please, I just want to feed my doll.
