Caitlin's Entertainment Report. He's on the Fresh Show.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Usher has apologized to Sabrina Carpenter's dad after what went
down between the two at the met gala. So, in
case you missed it, Usher was a surprise performer at
the Met on Monday.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
They always have a surprise performer.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
And photos from the event show him placing a cherry
in Sabrina Carpenter's mouth very seductively. If you didn't know,
Usher's tour comes with the performance of There Goes My Baby.
It is ended a lot of relationships, but people call
it the Cherry section. And after this photo started making
its rounds on social Sabrina's dad texted or a screenshot

(00:37):
of the photo saying simply weird question mark, and then
Sabrina posted it and Usher in the comments said.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Apologies, mister Carpenter.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
So he literally we have Usher out here apologizing to
Sabrina's dad.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Did anyone else besides me watch that Soul Raven?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Yeah, okay, so Rondelle shared in.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Best known for his role as Victor Baxtirt, the dad
in the Disney Channel original series That So Raven and
Raven's home is struggling after being hospitalized twice in recent
weeks for an extremely severe case of pancreat titus. Now
his friends and family are actually asking for donations to
cover his growing medical costs. A GoFundMe is set up
by a woman named Isabelle, who describes herself as a

(01:19):
dear friend, set a goal of thirty five thousand dollars
to help the actors say Afloat during his recovery. I
think they've made like twenty seven k so far. I
always liked him, like he's the dad. And lastly, Zach
Bryan has sold his publishing catalog for three hundred and
fifty million dollars, which I think is the story here
is more that like he's just been on the scene

(01:41):
for a few years, it seems, I mean, he's been
at it for a long time.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
But that's very expensors expensive. Excuse me. The buyer of
the catalog is a part of one.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Of those bigger groups led by the former CEO of
Warner Brothers and Warner Chapel Music Publishing. But the story
here as well is that the blackbuster deal reported includes
at least two albums to come with Warner Records, meaning.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
He is working on more music.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
No matter how much he threatens that he's done touring
and done making music after that huge breakup with Brianna
Chicken Fry and the NDA and all of that stuff.
So if you are a Zach Bryan fan, we are
getting more music, but three hundred and fifty million and
he's young and been on the scene for not that
long is crazy. By the way, if you missed any
