Speaker 1 (00:00):
So I'm doing another damn podcast. Yep, yep, it's time
the courtroom. It's be too lit sometime for the radio.
You know what I'm saying. It's stuff that I want
to say about some of these cases that I just
can't quite say early in the morning. So let's get
into it, key key court the podcast, and I'm gonna
just put it like this.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Judge Mathis and.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Judge Judy had a baby on the West Side of Chicago,
and here she is. All right, let's get into today's case.
This is what's gonna happen on this podcast. Frand I
will be breaking down further breaking down the cases that
you've heard on the air. I will give you cases
that don't make the air or are too real for
the air. I got all kind of stuff about sex,
about people cheating, and some of that stuff is just
(00:43):
not okay to make it on the air.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
So this is the place where those cases will live. Okay.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
Also, whenever I can, I'm gonna have different show members
join me on the podcast to say some of the
stuff that they didn't get a chance to say on
the air. So you never know, Fred Caitlin, Paulina Jason,
They may pop in. Of course, I'll have my coworkers
around the office chiming in, but I also want to
create a space where you can chime in too. So
with that being said, hit me up on the socials
if you would like to come on the podcast. Yes
(01:10):
I'm talking about you. We will schedule a call to
have you join me on the Key Key Court podcast.
So now that I said all that, let's get into
today's case. First things first, if you missed it, this
guy was at work still in food from the work cafeteria.
It's free, it's provided been paid for by the job.
One of his co workers caught him stealing the food, okay,
(01:33):
and instead of just saying something to him, asking him
what kind of situation is he in that's causing him
to steal the food, she went and reported it to HR,
which resulted in the man being fired.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
After the man gets fired, she receives an anonymous email
with a link to his go fund me. And according
to his go fundme page, and I know many of
you asked about the link to his go fundme, I
gotta make sure I can legally share that because I
don't want to get in a mess or like expose
the identity of the lady who wrote it in because
I don't want how they start getting hate mail and
(02:06):
all that. But she learned from his gofund me page
that he has been taking care of his niece and
his nephew after his sister was killed in a car accident,
and it's put him in a financial hard spot. So
what he's trying to do is take the free food
from work so that he can.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Feed the kids.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
When you hear the full story, you like, damn, you
know I I oh, maybe she should have just kept
her mouth close. You know, she didn't have to snitch
him out once you hear that he was stealing for
the children. But if you just see your coworker constantly
stealing from work, come on, some people are just naturally
gonna snitch. And in this situation, I really would feel
(02:43):
like shit if I was her, because this man is
trying to feed his children. Instead of you asking him, like, bro,
what's going on? Or you know, how can I help?
Or what are you doing with all that food? You
just marched yo little self right on over to HR
and cost this man his job.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
You should feel like shit, in my opinion, But I.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Will say the responses from the show this morning was
like fifty to fifty. You had the snitches you know,
checking in saying they gonna tell every single time, and
then you had the thieves checking in and saying, let
people steal in peace. So I want to know what
you think. Friend, go, you know, comment on the social
video on the Friends show page and let me know
your thoughts on that one. That was a wild ass
(03:25):
case and we might need to revisit soon. But anyway,
let me give you one of these cases that did
not make the air because it was just too too wild.
It says, hey, ki key, am I wrong for telling
my best friends the wife that he's been cheating on
her after I slept with him too?
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Girl?
Speaker 1 (03:43):
Okay, it says, so yeah, it's pretty bad. I twenty
seven year old female have been best friends with Jake
that ain't his name, That is not that man real
name anyway, a thirty year old male since college. We've
always had this will they won't they kind of energy,
but we never acted on it until recently. He's been
married to Lily that ain't he name me the y'all,
(04:06):
y'all kill me with these names. Y'all, just let me
make up the damn names if y'all don't want to
put the people real name in here, but anyway, it
says he's been married to Lily for two years and
I was actually a bridesmaid in their wedding.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Low Down a few months ago.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Jake and I got drunk after a concert and one
thing led to another. It was supposed to be a
one time mistake, and I felt horrible, but it happened
again a few weeks later, and then again after that.
Eventually I told Jake I couldn't do it anymore. That's
when he told me I wasn't the only one. He
had also been hooking up with a coworker on business trips,
(04:45):
and he told me that that coworker happens to be
a man.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Oh damn.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
That's when I got pissed. Oh so you weren't mad
when he was just cheating with you, but now you're
mad because okay, I understand. So I sat with that
for a while, but last week I finally cracked. I
was just too upset that he was not only cheating
on his wife, that he was leading her on, but
also leading me on now and not telling me that
(05:12):
he was hooking up with men. So I decided to
message Lily and tell her everything I told her about
Jake cheating, about the other man, and about me. I
even admitted that part too. Lily was devastated. She kicked
Jake out of the house. And now Jake is saying
(05:33):
that I ruined his life. Our mutual friends are calling
me a snake, and even Lily told me that I
should have kept my mouth closed if I really cared
about their relationship.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Lily, girl, my.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Argument is she deserved to know, even if I was
a part of the problem. I wanted to stop his
cycle of lies. Am I wrong? Girl?
Speaker 2 (06:00):
What the helly?
Speaker 1 (06:01):
So your best friend, you and him been best friends
for years, y'all finally sleep together, but you do it
when he's married.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
He comes clean.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
You tell him that you can't keep sleeping with him,
so then he feels it's the right time to come
clean to you about not only was he sleeping with you,
but he cheating with one of his male coworkers, and
you go and tell his wife everything.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
Here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
I don't think you're wrong for telling her, and Lily's
a weirdo for not wanting to know, because I would
damn sure want to know that information. However, your intention
was not right, Sis, because you only got upset and
you only felt the need to go tell Lily about
everything because you felt betrayed that he had also been
cheating on.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
You with men.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
Girl, you know, angel in this all of y'all wrong,
and Lily, you need to seek some help because the
fact that you didn't want to know and you would
have been fine just living in your blissful web of lies,
you a damn fool. Okay, See, these are the type
of cases I guess. This is the stuff I can't.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Say on the radio. But ooh, Jake is a freak.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Okay, not just because he bisexual, bisexual doing your thing,
but he's a freak because he out here freaking with you,
freaking with people.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
At work and li into for Lily.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Let me know what you think about this case frame,
you know, share the link to the podcast, give your opinions,
and when you post a link, and then if you
