The orders the Fred Show. Friend, come on, let's get
into the courtroom. Welcome to the Kecky Court Podcast. Here
is a bonus case that is very, very messy. Okay.
It says, hey, kikey, am I wrong for outing my
boss's office affair after it costs me a promotion. It says,

(00:22):
I have worked at a company for six years. I
was in the running for a big promotion. It came
down to me and one other person. John. Now, John
has only been with the company a year, but he
is very close with our boss Linda. Close as in,
sometimes they arrived to work together, they disappear for lunch

(00:44):
meetings that take hours, and sometimes they even leave work together. Now,
of course, people around the office are whispering that they
may be in a relationship, but nothing was confirmed. Well,
last month I found out that John got the promotion
over me. Linda told me it was because he had
more leadership potential, which really hurt me because I literally

trained him well. A week after, I was at a
hotel for a friend's wedding and I just happened to
see Linda and John checking into the hotel together. They
didn't see me, but I was sure to take a
little photo of them holding hands in the lobby. That
next Monday, I emailed the photo to HR and let

them know. Words spread fast. Both of them were put
on leave pending an internal investigation. Now my phone is
blowing up with coworkers saying that I was petty and
jealous for taking the photo and sending it to HR,
and that I may have destroyed two families because Linda

(01:54):
is married and Jake has a long term girlfriend. But
my best friend said, I just leveled the playing field,
and I don't feel like I was wrong. Keiki, let
me know what you think. Oh girl, I'm gonna tell
you like this, Okay, God works in mysterious ways. So
you know your boss was absolutely in the wrong to

(02:17):
give him the promotion over you simply because they're sleeping together. Okay.
This is clearly her little boy toy, and you know
she brought him in, had you train him, okay, and
then gave him the promotion over you. And they're flaunting
their little affair around the office, not even being discreet,

(02:37):
because if they were, they wouldn't be sneaking off during
the workday, they wouldn't be showing up to work together
and leaving together, which is crazy, and she's she's aware
that she's married, he's aware that he's in a long
term relationship. So the fact that you caught them in
four K at the hotel, girl, that was nobody but God, okay,
he allowed you to see it, plain and right in

(03:00):
front of your face. So I don't think you were
wrong for sending that to HR, especially if you feel
like you were overlooked for this position simply because they
are sleeping together and with her being his superior. I'm
sure there's some type of rule in the workplace that
she should one not be hooking up with him, and
if she, if they are going to hook up, it
should have been established with HR prior to you sending

(03:23):
that photo. So I guess, you know, you'll figure out,
you know, if she was being upfront with the company
after the investigation, But it doesn't feel that way, it
doesn't look that way. She'll probably end up fired at
this point, which I mean, I hate to see anybody
lose their job, but you cannot just be out here
giving out promotions to people you're sleeping with and overlooking
people who have actually put in the time, the effort

(03:44):
and the hard work. So girl, in my opinion. Hhmm,
you ain't wrong, o guy, you are not wrong. A
picture would have ended up on Facebook too if it
was me. But anyway, I would love to know what
you the jury think. Of course, I posted the video
