Speaker 1 (00:00):
Jason Brown from The Fred Show. We are live at
Lallapalooza thanks to innovations high school here with rivers. How
are you guys good? You're performing tomorrow right, it's your
first LOLLA performance.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
We've done it before, first time ever at Lollapsa.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
What can we expect?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
The lives are high, slightly like adrenaline chaos. But we
have four sets in twenty four hours and we are ready.
It's going to be great.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
If you played Chicago like this weekend before, like already
not already.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
No, tonight, we have our after show and then we
have like three sets tomorrow. So yeah, experience.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
Been really good. We just got here, but played here
a bunch of times and it's been great every time.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
We're gonna get some late night dogs tonight as our plan.
I need recommendations. We're getting deep dish as well as dogs,
so we're getting the classic illuminatis. Where should we go
for for doggies devils?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
What are the hot dog places?

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Who know that?

Speaker 3 (01:08):
But we like, we're from Toronto, so we call it
street meat. But it's also a big thing in Toronto,
so maybe we'll just grab a stand off the street.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Is that a thing? Okay, I'm getting sas bugs.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Well, I mean I feel like anything.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Like you know, in Toronto, it's like the longer it's
been sitting on the street, like the better it is. Yeah,
they don't clean the grills and it's just kind of
like charred and burned. But like it doesn't matter because
two am kind of thing.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I love the idea of street meat marinating on and
making it. You know, that's a wild take. Okay, we
are going to take some questions out of my boo
boo bucket of questions. Okay, we're gonna go through these
real quick. All right, what is the want to know
from you?

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Wants to know what's the weirdest gift you've ever gotten?
What time my ex boyfriend's mom, who like didn't really
like me, came back from a trip and she caught me.
She got me leopard print texting gloves because she said
that I love texting and I was.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Like that really, I mean, I'm here for the leopard.
You can sear I'm here for the leopard. But that's
kind of a back end of car totally.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
And I think it was like not winter, so that
also adds an element.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
I was on all or something? You still got them?

Speaker 3 (02:30):
No, certainly not. It was my high school boyfriend, so
I had to had to move on from that.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
We've moved on.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
We moved on.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Okay, here your turn?

Speaker 4 (02:38):
The boo boo?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
What is the boo boo? Want to know from you?

Speaker 4 (02:41):
What was your first phone? Little Samsung flip phone, little
blue thing. It had snake on it? Naa And I
think I was like eleven and had never smoked weed before.
But because I got high was my ring tone? Yeah
man waits yeah yeah, my parents the actual track.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
That was advanced. Yeah, I was the same. I hung
out with a bunch of stoners but didn't smoke because
I was scared. So I was bumping afro man two.
You know I was there right there with you. Your turn.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Let's see do you sleep with your socks on or off?
Anybody answering this who sleeps with their socks on? Stop? No,
you're also talking to a guy who's uh has a
small obsession with foot hygiene. Okay, okay, kind of some

(03:43):
bad foot fungus.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Jeans and all right, all right, I got a couple of.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Flour ups in my life. But I'm looking pretty good.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Now, it's all about the recovery. It's a journey.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
You know. The actual thing you should do is put
the feet outside of the covers and let them like that.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
I do that, but I still have my song song
do you have?

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Like?

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Yeah, I just like I get all comfy and then
my feet like rubed together like a little bit, you know,
Like I'm just like I'm in bed, you know, but
I have to have my feet out. But I hate
bare feet in bed. I don't know what it is
what drags.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Me for it just special like sleeping sock my wools
that I my grandma knits or something.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Socks is a good is a good middle ground? Like
maybe not the socks you wear all day? Yeah, yeah yeah,
switch them out for your cozy little silk socks.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Yeah or silk. Okay, I might try that out. I
might try that out.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
What is the rest of twenty twenty five look like
for the band?

Speaker 4 (04:41):
What are we doing?

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Are we hitting the road? Are we doing music?

Speaker 3 (04:44):
What are we do?

Speaker 2 (04:44):
We're kind of wrapping up. This is last night of
our tour.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Wow, Okay, so we like doing a vacation, Like what.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
A little bit. It's been like a medium year this year.
We released two records last year, tour everywhere last year,
so we're kind of like did a summer tour this
year and festivals. We'll play a c l in the fall.
Kind of one offs all around, but kind of getting
to working on new music, just like writing stuff, hanging out,
having sleepovers where we record.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Yeah, so you guys record over and now like you
guys like we have to sleepover to.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Record for.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Cities.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Make us make like a little trip out of it
every time.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Get to make a little and a good way to
separate like work from like you know, personal time. Right
like when you guys look come together, you're working and
like that's the goal that you know, then you don't
have to do that back home. So that's cool. Well
that's really interesting. Well twenty twenty six, hopefully some new
music for sure. Okay, cool, we'll have a great performance
around things for stopping by, Thanks.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
For having us.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Thank you,
