Speaker 1 (00:00):
Paulina here and I get to talk today to two
stars of Wednesday. We are back for season two. I
want to welcome my guests. I have Georgie Farmer here.
How are you?

Speaker 2 (00:10):
I'm good. I'm good. How you doing?

Speaker 1 (00:12):
I'm so good? And I have Isaac Ardonis here today.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
I'm great. He's so great. I love it.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
I'm good. You look exactly like your character, Like do
you get that a lot?

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Yeah? Someone, I mean, I guess it's like him.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Like when you walked in, I was like, am I
on the set of Wednesday? Like, you guys are so
like I mean, obviously like seeing the show, but then
seeing you in person, It's it's surreal and I feel
like it's a blessing every day to be able to
do something like this, you know, but I think it's
just so cool because I'm like, oh shit, you guys
are really like your characters.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Well, thank you know, we're very grateful to be here,
so thank you for having us.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Absolutely, we're in Chicago, and when we walked in, you
were like pizza sight seeing. You're giving me a checklist
of things to do. Is this both of your first times?
I'm assuming no, Yeah, it's your first time both and
you already know what to do.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Well, we got in.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
We had the premiere in London two nights ago and
then we basically flew straight here because we did a
screening last night, so we didn't really get to see much.
So today is our like our sight seeing day, I think.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
And you're gonna have so much fun because not only that,
it's all plus a weekend here in Chicago.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Do you guys know that what is what is? What is?

Speaker 1 (01:16):
What is Lallapalooza?

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Okay, so this is a sidetrack, No, no.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
I have to tell you. So it's obviously a big
music festival. We have it here in Chicago and Grant
Park every year, so think like Coachella, but like in the.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
City of Chicago, right, Okay, who's before?

Speaker 1 (01:29):
So we had Tyler the Creator last night. Yes, Gracie
Abrams was here. She had all the girlies out.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
That was fun.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
I believe Corn is this weekend. Guess so you're here
for Corn because I kind of am to go same.
I'm like so cool to see so like we have
we have acep Rocky that'll be cool too. Yes, Olivia Rodrigo,
we love her. Literally everyone is here. I know to
be a carpenter. So it's a good time. It's a
good time. So if you guys are still around, you

(01:59):
call me. Okay, well we'll go.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
See all I will.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Okay. I love it, So we're gonna talk Wednesday. Season
two of course. And one question that I have to
ask is, you know fan theories. I know everyone loves those,
and I'm curious about when it comes to your character.
You know, what are the funniest, craziest fan theories that
you've seen online that are totally wrong, but we kind
of wish they were true. I know, I got you

(02:23):
thinking already.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
I sometimes I remember seeing this thing one time that like,
Ajax must be like a bad guy because whenever sort
of the enids around him whatever, her claws come out.
So maybe it's like a subconscious thing. And I was like, oh, interesting, interesting.

Speaker 5 (02:45):
Strangely, I haven't seen too much, but I do know,
like before like season two, I think probably right before
it started production, people were like, Bugsy should go to Nevermore,
Bugsy should really be friends with Eugene, you know, yeah,
we should get powers.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Oh that's a good one.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
I like that.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
Okay, See, so you guys, do you guys read like
the stuff online sometimes, like do you find yourself in
the comments?

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Sometimes?

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:06):
See we all do it, even you guys.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Yeah, if it's there, I'll read it.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Well, see, I'm glad that I'm not crazy. I'm not
alone because I sometimes live in the commons and see
you guys too too. All right, perfect. So, as far
as your characters in the new seasons, right, the new
season of Wednesday, what do you feel have you seen
as far as growth? What what's the biggest part of
in your character's growth have you seen?

Speaker 5 (03:30):
I think now that he has powers, you know, season
one was very reliant on Wednesday, but I think now
he's more independent, you know, he is confidence in himself
has grown a lot now that he has powers.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Oh that's a good one. Why do you feel like
because of the powers do you feel like it's just
something that you know, he's I don't know, able to
show the world a different side of him.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
I think so.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, yeah, well that's pretty cool. And what about you
for your character?

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Yeah, I think Ajax this year it's all about him
sort of becoming like more confident in himself elf, you know,
he's like finding himself. I think with the Gulgans. You know,
it's an interesting dynamic because they're told like to not
look anyone in the eye to themselves, so it's sort
of like outcast the long outcasts.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
That makes sense.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
And yeah, I guess he's just, yeah, feeling more confident
in himself and hopefully to not use his powers, like sorry,
to feel more confident in using his powers so he
doesn't end up using them on himself.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
And speaking of though, speaking of that though, well, puzzley,
I feel like it's usually the comic relief, right, or
maybe he's being rescued, right, So it's one or the other.
So what do you think that he's really good at?
That people often overlook and maybe in the new season
we'll see it.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
I think.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
People like initialll like tend to assume, like they think
that he's dumb, and I don't. I don't think that
he's necessarily dumb. I mean, he's not smart, but he's
not He's not as dumb as people think he is.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Really Okay, Okay, so you think that there's you know,
that underlying like right, I was gonna say, like the
person that you might not think knows things or might
you know, he's not capable of something tends to be
the character that is. Yeah, okay, okay, I like to
choose there, love it and then for for you Georgie. Right,

(05:15):
Ajax always has been like this low key kind of
it has this low key charm, is what I'm gonna
call it. If you had like a one on one
dinner with Wednesday, what do you think you guys would
talk about?

Speaker 4 (05:25):
I don't know that would Ajax. If Ajax had a
dinner with Wednesday, I would imagine their common ground would
probably be enid. I think, yeah, really, yeah, yeah, I
think that would sort of be like the icebreaker maybe,
but yeah, or maybe honestly, maybe they would talk about
like snakes or something.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I don't know. Maybe Wednesday strugs me someone that would
like snakes. I don't know. What do you think I
think she would?

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (05:48):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly, yeah, yeah exactly exactly.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Maybe Ajax can like try and convince her to get
a snake.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Maybe I love that.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
And what about let's just fast forward, you know, years
on the line, where do you think Ajax would would
be in like ten years, do you think he'll still
be on Wednesday or kind of off the grid?

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Oh? I don't know.

Speaker 4 (06:08):
Yeah, maybe, I mean I hope. I guess he would
graduate in the next ten years, but maybe I mean,
you never know, right, Yeah, you never know. Yeah yeah,
these Gorgans, Yeah yeah, they're very Yeah. I honestly I
hope that he's finding like I hope that he's found himself.
I hope he's more confident in himself. And I hope

(06:28):
he because I think, you know, he's like one of
the good qualities about him is that he always wants
to help out his friends when he can, and I
think he'd still be still be doing that.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Maybe I love that, Okay, And.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
What about like as far as those questions for both
of you, right, how do you personally interpret your character's
biggest insecurity, right, even if it was never set a
lout on the show, Like, how would you be able
to interpret what that might be?

Speaker 4 (06:53):
I Like, I think for me, I really sort of
relate to his sort of trying to like find himself
and sort of be confident in yourself, which is be
relatable to I think when you're going through high school,
you know, it's such a crazy time in terms of
like finding yourself and you know, figuring out like who
you are as a person, and you know, like to

(07:14):
add the idea of having snakes on your head on
top of that and being and been in a school
of outcasts. As cool as it is, I can imagine
that's a lot of stress. So I yeah, I relate
to him on that level for sure.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
I think Tugsley's insecurity is that you know, he like
the Adams family is a weird family, right, he is
like definitely like the weirdest one out of all of them. Yeah,
he in this Senson he misses a lot of social
cure except first really yeah, when he goes into Nevermore, Oh.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Well, there you go. Do you feel like you see
parts of yourself like when you're back in high school
or you're like we're completely different people?

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Uh somewhat. I mean I you can see.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Parts of it. I feel like in all the characters,
especially in that time. Like you mentioned, I.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
Do independent study for school. I never went in person
for high school, so like this is this was somewhat
like in person, you're a high school just.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
There you gore.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Yeah, everyone in the room with us is probably agreeing, Like,
I don't think you missed that on much. Okay, those
were awkward times. Awkward hairstyle.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
If never More was like your school experience, that would
be amazing.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
I wish amazing.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
Agree, well, I appreciate you both being here with me. Today.
We have Isaac Georgie Wednesday, season two. Where can we
stream this of course? And when?

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Well, you can stream it on Netflix period.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Oh, looking at each other. It's on August sixth.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
August six I love that, but in your calendar.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
Sorry, we failed at our one job. Where can you
find it? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (08:47):
Netflix, August six, August sixth, Season two, Part one. Don't
miss it. It's gonna be mayhem. And yeah, I'm so
excited for everyone to see it.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Yeah, everyone's ready for it too. I'm on TikTok, I'm
with the kids. I see you guys, I'm the cool crowd.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Everyone's ready for us on the full you pages mine.
At least he doesn't get on my full youth page. Really,
I don't see anyone. It's so annoying.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
And then I don't want to be the guy that's
like googling it, like do you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Like googling the showy and I just get it on.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Youth page, you know, like our phones will listen to us.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
I think it's just hearing so much about Wednesday, like
from you, just talking to my team. Yeah, it's just there.
I'm seeing it no matter what.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
No one can convince me that our phones won't listen
to us sometimes. I swear right now, I'm gonna go
home and get a bunch of Wednesday ads.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Right, you'll see.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Yeah, And that's like I hope it.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Is, shout out hopefully. Yes, I love it. Awesome. Well,
thank you for all to bring here today with me today.
I appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Thank you, thanks for having having me.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Thank you
