Speaker 1 (00:00):
Tell them.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
Yeah, they talk better than these are the radio blogs
on the Fresh Show.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
All right, it's like for writing in our diaries, except
we say them aloud.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
We call them blogs Chasing Brown.
Speaker 4 (00:11):
Yes, thank you, dear blog.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
So over the weekend I had to do a sleep
study because my my dentist actually said that I may
have the app sleep apnea.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
So they said, so I had to go for a
sleep study.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
And I've never done this before, but it is a
very interesting situation.
Speaker 4 (00:36):
Has anyone in the room ever done one of these? No? No, no,
So it's very weird.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
And it was giving very much like Grinder hookup from
like back in my single days, because it starts you
have to get there.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
You start on the grinder app, because that would be
a different kind of sleep study. I don't think that
name was certified. I don't know if insurance will pay
for that.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Well, I don't think insurances make for annybody anyway. So
you have to get there at thirty So like Saturday night,
I had to get to the doctor's office at nine
thirty pm. And you pull in a parking lot, there's
just another guy in a car because he's like the medical.
Speaker 4 (01:10):
Assistant or whatever. Why is he in the car?
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Like I think he's like waiting to see if I
actually show up, because I'm assuming a lot of people
probably do not show up to these because what is
everyone doing at nine thirty pm on a Saturday, Like,
you know, like.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Why is he not in the office.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
So he like waited for me. He waited for me
to pull up, probably to see that it was me.
And then just when a lot in the.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Car in the magazine, no.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Inside right from everyone inside, So like overally, yeah, that's worse.
So he gets in there, unlocks the door, and I
see like the lights are going on. So I'm like, okay,
well now I can like go because that's fifteen minutes early.
So I give him that. So then I, you know,
get there walking down, I'm thinking in my head like
hospital back, like that is like what I'm thinking, right,
like this is a medical thing, like we're in a hospital. No,
(02:01):
He's like, come all the way to the back. I
go all the way to the back of this dark
doctor's office. Okay, opens the door. It's like a full
on bed, like queen size sheets, blanket, just bed.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
I'm like, okay, all right. He's like I have a
seat in the chair. I'm like, okay, right, yes there's
a chair. There's one chair in this room with a bag. Okay,
maybe I just bed No, it was side, but he
had to the bag. He had to like install these
things on me, like like the electricals, and.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
He was behind me.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
So I'm sitting in this chair facing the wall and
he's behind me putting all this stuff on me?
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Right, why didn't you let us come with you?
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Like I really wish you'd told someone where you were.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
It was in another reality, Like I could not believe
this was happening to me.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Okay, So and he's like all right.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Cool, like you're all hooked up dope, Like get in bed, right,
So what I'm so he has.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
To I think I think it was when he crawled
into that he had health.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
He get in bed because I all these wires attached
to me. So he's like following me, like moving the
covers and like.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Tucking me in. What is happening here? Like what is happening?
Speaker 2 (03:19):
So it's so hard to fall asleep, right because like
you're got all this stuff on you, You're in a
weird I'm in a very weird situation. Chair in the
corner chair home, there's cameras pointed at me. Okay, because
he's in another room watching me. So there's like cameras
in every corner of the room watching me. So weird, okay.
And if I moved one.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
Way before the producers are gonna there was.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
One leather couch. I had no idea what.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
I had.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
The speaker system was like, oh my gosh. So if
a wire fell off, he had a coming like, oh
a wire fell off and like coming like what like
it was just like the highs of my men. So
I'm there for like two hours, right, I'm doze nine
and off. Then of course I'm Jason Brown. So what
has to happen. I have to peee, right, I have
to pee, So I have to like take my little
finger like pose monitor thing off, and that was his
(04:09):
signal to come in and help. So he comes in
and like unhooks me. So I like to go pee whatever,
sit back down. So then whatever, two more hours, I'm good.
I'm going home now. This is probably the worst part
of the whole thing. To put the things on my head,
there has to be paste. There's this white paste stuck
in my hair. So then I'm ming home. I'm driving
home at two o'clock, three o'clock in the morning with
(04:31):
this sticky white pascete in my hair from the electron.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
I'm like, all I need.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Is to walk in the house and might be like, what, oh,
you were at a sleep study?
Speaker 4 (04:40):
What you were doing? Like whatever?
Speaker 2 (04:42):
You asked that the weirdest thing that I've ever experienced.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
My understanding was that you could take these things home.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
I wish, I wish it could, but aren't bombing insurance?
This is the place I have to go in the
back of the medical building at nine point thirty on.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
A Saturday night.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Maybe right, won't do better today.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
I've never heard of this in the wheat during the
week He's like, no on the weekends only. I'm like,
why why do you do it to yourself?
Speaker 3 (05:11):
Well, because the guy works at seven eleven, the guy
is a full time jobs.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Wait to see what comes back. I don't know. Did
you ever fall asleep?
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Yes, so like after I peede then there was like
two and a half hour. You only needed like four
hours of like sleep or quote unquote.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
And did you take a bena drug? Because I think no,
because I read that you can't you I know I
told him that.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
He was like, well, listen, I'm either going to take
a Bena drow or get a little drunk before this.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
I said, you cannot do that.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
The purpose I've never had one, but I would imagine, like,
if you take a sedative that raw.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
Jason, why wouldn't that help help you in your sleep
study about how you can't sleep?
Speaker 2 (05:56):
I was just thinking, how do I fall asleep in
the back of a doctor's office in the middle of
the nights? You know, the memory from HYS.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
I think we should have checked some credets. Just going
to be more Fredshell next Ge
