Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yet they talk them buck. Yeah, they talk better than
they say.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Tell me about These are the radio blogs on the
Fred Show, like we're running in our diaries, except we
say them aloud. We call them blogs.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Kaylino, thank you, dear blog.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
So my girl Paulina has long been saying that the
Catholic Church needs a rebrand. Okay, I have long been
saying that baby showers need a rebrand.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Oh okay, tell me more so I will tell you more.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
So.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
I have long complained to you guys that I think
it's very funny that the women, you know, just because
we are born women have to go to the baby shower,
have to play, you know, guess the chocolate and the
diaper and who can hug the baby bottle the fastest.
But the men don't have to go to baby showers. Okay,
So that's my first issue. They get to, you know,

(00:49):
either show up at the end and do the fun part,
or do nothing, or go out and drink and go congrats, bro,
you're having a baby. So I just think that maybe ladies,
I'll go to your baby shower. But we need to
switch it up, okay, because a lot of the same
format is copy and paste it's a floral print. You
can win you know, some lotion if you guess the

(01:11):
accurate you know, wait of the baby or who the
baby's going to look more like, you can win a
nice candle. And you have to dress the same. Don't
get me started on baby shower attire. It is very
hard to dress for baby showers, especially if the weather
is not cooperating, because you feel like you got to
wear a you know, certain floral dress whatever. I went

(01:33):
to a baby shower that was a sound bath, and
I would just like to praise my friend for switching
it up. I got to go to this baby shower
in comfy clothes. I got to lay on the floor
on a yoga mat in a blanket. I got to
bring a pillow. I got to chill. There were no games.
We just we got to chill and the vibe was relaxed.

(01:56):
And I just would like to say, ladies, let's think
outside the box for our baby showers. Let's switch it
up a little, you know. And I just want to
applaud my friend. You know, we switched it up.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
If fairness have only been invited to one baby shower,
right in fairness.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Right, And that's where in lies the problem. Why don't
men have to go to baby showers? I think men
should have to throw their bros a baby shower.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
I agree.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
I thought the baby showers like, I thought that was
a girl thing. Like I don't.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
I've never why no, Well, you guys invented it. I
don't know. Like no, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
No, no guy he's ever said to me, how about
a baby shower for me? I've no one's ever said that.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
But I want you guys to have to go and
get with the bros.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
So you don't like them, so we should have to
go too.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
It's not that I don't like them, it's that you're
asking a lot of money to be spent. I agree,
you're asking for traveling. You're asking for me to get
all done up only to do the same thing. I
don't mind baby showers. I love celebrating you in your
baby shower. I'm just encouraging us to think outside the
box a little bit, to make this mom sit up
there and open gifts and have the same reaction in

(03:00):
the entire time.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
They don't want to do that either.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Yeah, but they want the diapers, and they want the gifts,
and they want all the stuff so that's how you're
going to have to do it.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
No, you can send it directly. The new thing is
you send it directly to the couple's house and they
don't have to open it in front of people.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
I'm just saying, let's think outside the box.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Oh yeah, you weren't at my baby shower, Kalin, But
I feel like your friend and I really aligned on this.
My baby showers on a sound bath. I heard about this.
I love the idea. I'm not having more kids. But
if I did, I do that?

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Huh?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
But mine was a what was my baby shower like
a party? I had a bar tend and a dreg
I had come out. I was there. I was there.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
That's probably the only the second I've ever been to
in my whole life.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, but I feel like I.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
Made it easy because my whole thing is I just
want to make things fun and easy for people or not.
And I didn't open one gift. And also gifts are
very very kind, like you're not obligated to give anybody anything.
And I think that's so sweet that people did that.
I did a diaper raffles the only game I do.
Love that and I had but dazzled don Julio bottles. Okay,
see they fought for those they fought.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
You are walking the walk, and I just want to
I just want to tell you, thank you for being
part of the cause.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Thanks for walking.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
So I I was born in specific, Genitalia, and because
of that, I am expected to do these baby showers.
And I'm just saying, just have a drag queen every
once in a while, have some drinking every once in
a while. I'm sorry you can't drink, but I can't.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
I'm saying, Okay, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yeah, I mean, if you expect me to show up
to an event that is basically four gifts, then you
need to you need to provide me with a venue
that is something I would like to attend, right Like,
come on, come on, why are people throwing showers? It's
to receive gifts and it's great. You're yourself me. There's
a baby coming.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
It's baby.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
It takes a village, the whole thing. But if I'm
gonna go, there better be good food and beverage.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
One hundred percent. I if I ever, you know, get
lucky enough to be pregnant, I will be having it
at a gentleman's club.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
I will. I've already decided that. Yep, it's been done.
I love it, it it I've never seen that. I mean,
I see you there. So yeah, you guys will have
a time. Just bring some singles.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
I have some meat dolls, meatballs, yeah, baby shower meatballs
that yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Yeah, no, you still haven't sold me. I'm not going.
That's great. You get to go play golf, right.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Yeah, you're right. Yeah, no, that's a good deal. Celebrate baby,
Let's go play a team.
