Thank you, no pressure, dear blog. So something really crazy
happened to me yesterday and it was super unexpected. But
I made a new friend in the wild, like two
adults becoming friends, not via we have.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Not become one yet, but I don't know what kind
of friendship.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Girls great, but like there was no social media, like
we didn't follow each other beforehand. We literally were both
in CBS and we both had our dogs. She had,
I want to say hers was like a Bernese mountain dog,
like one of those big ones.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
They're fluffy.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
And then I had my little Willie and she was
waiting to get her ID checked because she had a
bottle of wine on a Monday, My first Green Flag
dog and.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
A bottle why on Monday? I like everything about this friendship.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Yeah, and we were both in our like pajamas running
to CVS.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Okay, so green Flag.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
So then we start talking and she was joking about like, oh,
they shouldn't have to card us anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Whatever, YadA YadA.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
So we get to talking and then she's like, hey,
like because usually that's where the interaction ends, right for
most people, it would have been for me, and it
would have been we.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Would have had we would.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Have always had CVS, you know, and I would have
thought of her fondly, but.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
It wouldn't have moved forward. But she said to me,
she said, hey, I'm Katie. By the way.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Obviously we both live near here, so I just want
to introduce myself and I'm like, oh my gosh, I'm Kaitlin.
And then we start talking about she I just got
a new job, this, that and the other, and she's
asking me questions.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Then we exchange numbers, and then you asked.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Her to come over and a stayble furniture.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
She's very handy, that Katie. But like, we have a
day to walk our dogs. We have wine nights planned.
I don't know, nothing's ever happened like that to me.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Like people, it's like hard to make friends as an adult,
and all mine moved away.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
So I'm friends with my neighbor Katie.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
Man.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
I love that friendships in the wild that almost ever happens.
It's very hard to make friends as a grown up.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Yeah, my friends, Wait, what are we doing here? You know?

Speaker 3 (02:11):
And then I was like, I thought she was just
being nice and she's like no, no, no, like put your
number on my phone and she's already text me about
three things that she's trying to do.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
Katie.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Yes, Katie is a nice woman.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
I just got done watch you Hunting Wives on Netflix.
Maybe she's right.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Does she drive a white van or does she you know,
I like the ladies. That's okay, No, I know it is,
of course, it's okay.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
I just.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Was she shooting her shot?

Speaker 4 (02:42):
Well?

Speaker 3 (02:42):
I did mention at one point that I had a
boyfriend who lived with me, because she said something about
when did you move?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
And I said we moved. He didn't need to know.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
She did say, who's we Oh wait a.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Minute, Okay, I had my boyfriend.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
You thought I was crazy? Now all of a sudden,
it's making sense to you. Y turn your location on.
Ki Kating just want to be my friend. We will
tip talk. Oh she wants to be friendly.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Yeah, okay, Hey, this is great
