Let's do a blog show we like for writing in
our diaries, except we say them aloud.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Caylen you doing one?

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Yes go deer blog.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
Speaking of traumatic So I got felt up at work
yesterday and Jason is probably traumatized because he had to
watch the whole I didn't gonder in the air really
was it was another woman and she had consent?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Okay, so yes, this sounds more.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Like a recreational activity there.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Hey, it was at where we were in a side studio,
me and Jason and one of our friends and coworkers
came in and was chatting with us, and out of nowhere,
I just I don't know, I just felt, I don't
know what made me ask her this question.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Jason really wished I hadn't the whole situation. I said, Hey,
does it hurt to get a mammogram?

Speaker 4 (01:13):
I just scheduled my first one, which like four years
late because I got a lot of risk in my family.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
But I did schedule it and it's next week.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Shout out to one of the thirteen, Ashley, who is
battling right now, and she was on my butt too,
so I scheduled it anyway. So I'm I'm trying to
figure out what kind of pain level we're looking at now.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
I have a high pain.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Tolerance, but I do not form my yabos like I
just can't.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Imagine that part getting hurt.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
So one of our coworkers, well, first of all, how
did she describe.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
What they were going to do to me? Jason?

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Smash and pulls, smash and pull. So her answer was, yes,
it's gonna hurt. And I was like, wait, isn't this
isn't this I'm asking another woman. I'm like, shouldn't this
be like the hiking thing where hikers are coming down
the mountain and they're.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Like just fifteen more minutes, Like, shouldn't you lie to
me and be like real pain?

Speaker 1 (02:01):
I continue, but I haven't. I've heard about this but
two days.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Yeah, okay.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
So I said, do they hurt and she said yes,
and then she went into grave detail about what they
were going to do to me and she said may
I And I said, of course, I don't care because
we're friends. And so she's like and she said, they're
going to take two things, like imagine setting it on
a table and imagine a clamp, and they're gonna clamp
you shut and then pull.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
And I was like what.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
And she's like, you should go home and you should
practice how it's gonna feel with two books.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
And I said, ma'am a lying, Jason? Am I lie?

Speaker 4 (02:37):
She said, you should get someone else to take your books,
smash your yabo and pull.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
And by the way, you guys, I'm still going to
get my mammogram and it's not going to scare me.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
But I was like, is this the best thing to
be telling me?

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Here's the thing. Obviously, I'm not a woman. I've never
had one.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I don't know a friend of mine with big yabos
just went to her first one, okay, and it was
the same Dog and Pony show was the same. This
is gonna hurt, and she said it didn't And I
hate and maybe there's a woman listening now who can
verify this. I hate this because I feel like there
are a lot of things out there like I need.
I probably have to get a colonoscopy next year because
there's a risk in my family, and I can think

(03:15):
this is the earliest stage at which I could get one.
It may turn I don't have to. I don't want
to do it. Of course.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
I just saw TikTok video.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Somehow I got on colonoscopy TikTok where the person was
telling me that like they laid on the table for
hours and nobody would give a ma anti anxiety medication.
They were cold and scared and nervous and all this thing.
But then I've had fifty other people, literally fifty other
people tell me it is a non event. Like the
worst part is you prep, you prep, and then you
walk in there and you lay down and they knock

(03:42):
you out and twenty minutes, Like the dude told me,
you walked in at seven forty five, it was eating
Chick fil a at nine o'clock.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
It was not an issue.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
But there's always gonna be and I'm not saying I
don't know who we were talking to or that they
even had bad intentions. But there's I feel like there's
always somebody who had the experience and they go and
tell you something my mom has been Yeah, I mean
I don't think it's comfortable. Yeah, well, my mom also
has is a breast she had you know, she's had
things removed. Oh, so my mom's been through this. But
I and my grandmother is a breast cancer was a

(04:10):
breast cancer survivor. So it's like, I guess I bring
this up to say that it's something in our family
that we don't miss.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yeah, but sure, I think it is what it is.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
And I don't know if people If people say it hurts,
I realize maybe they're being honest. I kind of wish
they'd just be like, yeah, it's not the best, or hey,
it was uncomfortable for me because now you're going to
go into it and you you have anxiety too, You're
gonna go into it with this like oh no, and
you're at home now squishing your moves with Encyclopedia Britannica,
trying to prepare yourself, and I just I don't know,

(04:41):
I don't know how helpful.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
That was Yeah, I don't either, and I love her
either way, and I do appreciate honestly, I'm still gonna
go no matter what.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
But it was just not what I expected.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
I did not expect to like hear it described in
the way of the cranking and the pulling, and Jason's like,
there's gotta be a better way, Like this.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
Sounds crazy, so medieval that like you know, like medical
world of like MRIs X rays like all this you board, right,
like that thing you want to put your hands up,
like something where it's not that invasive, but yet for
that you.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Still have to do that.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Like so you love this, right, there is an easier way,
but because it is my first time, insurance won't cover
it unless I go first they say it's inconclusive, which
they probably.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Will because I have dense breasts.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Oh they'll do it.

Speaker 3 (05:28):
So you cannot get the easiest way in the.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
First But like I'm looking at the text right, and
we've probably gotten one hundred texts since you started talking.
Oh wow, eighty percent of them are non issue. It's
not uncomfortable. The angle that you have to stand at
might be uncomfortable, and then you've got somebody going here.
It was the most painful thing I've ever experienced. So
I just it's just like, you know, and I'm not
saying that any of these people are not telling the truth.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
I just I do know you put your hand up
and look the other way and you booba on the table.
I mean that's wild.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
But yes, I know there's always going to be someone
and I did ask.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
So like right here, it doesn't hurt, just awkward. It's
really uncomfortable back to back text messages, you know, So like,
I don't know, I.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Find like, what did I have? I once had a.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
A thyroid biopsy where they stick a this is a
few years ago. They stick an acupuncture needle essentially in
your thyroid while you're awake, so in your neck, and
it didn't hurt. But I was told by someone who
had had one done it was the most excruciating pain
they've ever experienced in their whole life.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
I didn't feel it. The hardest part of that was was.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Knowing what they were doing and then knowing why, because
it's like, well, maybe they're and I think it would
have been very unfortunate had they had to like get
in there and do surgery and take my thyroid like that.
That's a whole different level of risk because any your
vocal cords and whatever. Thankfully they don't have to do
it and they're not going to have to do it,
and it's all good. But but but for weeks, all
I heard was the doctor going, this isn't this isn't

(06:59):
like fun, but you'll be fine, like it's mental, like
it really doesn't hurt.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
We numb it up. It's fine.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
And then people going, oh my god, it was the
worst thing, even people I knew, And it's like, how
could it have been that bad when when I did
it and it was I don't know. Just maybe don't
go and don't Hey lindsay how you doing.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
I know you got to go.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
The same way I got to go do my thing,
and I don't really want to. Hey lindsay what what
was your advice for Kaylin?

Speaker 3 (07:27):
So everybody says that it.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
Hurts, and like they squeeze it so hard and it's
so bad. It is not at all. The nurses are
normally super nice and they talk you through it and
it's done in five minutes.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Okay, I love that thing.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
I guarantee you've done worse already in your life than this,
and maybe it maybe it will be uncomfortable, and I
hope it's not. But from what I'm reading on the text,
and it's a lot of text, hundreds of texts. Now
it's it's you've you've gone to the doctor and probably
have been more uncomfortable and had more pain than this
will be.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Okay, So it's like home and cram your movie bok
six months.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Oh wow, okay, all right, so you really know what
you're talking about.

Speaker 6 (08:04):
Yeah, I go every six months, and it's they're super
nice and I think if they were mean, it would
be bad, but like they're really nice and they talk
you to it and it doesn't hurt all okay, and
then once you're done, you're done right And then.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Amazing, well, thank you Lindy that this is helpful informations,
you know, I mean because you got to do it,
so like this is more helpful. Thank you, lindsay you
have a good day, you too. And then a lot
of people are saying, smaller than Booth, the more uncomfortable
it is.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
That is what she said. And she has smaller yabbos
than I. So maybe it's a thing.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
What is this?

Speaker 2 (08:38):
I had endoscopy and Klanosky at the same time. Was
knocked out, didn't want.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
I'll be your your colon Guardian angel I have had it.
It is not a big deal.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
I thought you were offering to do it. I'm like, no,
you're not sticking a camera. I'm like, no, happen with you?
And why do you have that equipment at your house?
That's weird.
