Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, So recently I had oh, I'm so sorry, Yes,
your blog, we knew what this.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
That's also your trigger.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
If someone doesn't say dear blog, it's sort of anyway,
but you just told him. I'm doing it like dear blog,
Dear Freddie, I wrote you, but you're still in colin.
So recently I had a series of unfortunate events happened,
you guys know, in the room. My brain just like
hasn't been there. This season is crazy for us. We

(00:28):
have a lot of stuff going on. So anyways, I
was in Michigan recently, where I'm from. I grew up
in Metro Detroit, and my cousin called me and I'm
just like driving out and do my thing, and he's like.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Hey, how you doing. You know, yeah, I'm filling up.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
My gas tank you know, I don't want to.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Fill it up tomorrow early in the morning.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
And I'm like, okay, good, like good for you, Like
why are you telling me this? And I'm like, wow,
that's smart, you know. I thought he was just catching up.
And then as the conversation's going on, I realize that
he is supposed to visit me in Chicago when I
was very much in Michigan.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Oh no.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
So I started to freaking panic, and I'm looking at
my boyfriend and we're scrambling and looking at the dates.
He said the first Sunday in December he was coming.
He never set a date. Now, I didn't realize that
the first Sunday in December. I think came on the first,
like it came real fast. Yeah yeah, So I just
you know, I'm not fully there, so I'm panicking. So

(01:22):
I'm like trying to get a plan. I'm trying to
figure out how he's going to get into my apartment whatever.
So I call my apartment building. I'm like, okay, I
can race there, but he's gonna need to stay there
because he lands really early in the morning. So the
door people are like, no problem, we'll give him the
spare key.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
So all good. He gets the spare key.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I get a call the next morning from the door
person and they said, you need to call your cousin
right now. I gave him the wrong apartment key. Oh okay,
So I call my cousin and he's in the apartment
and he goes I just got near the views, amazing,
like whatever, and I'm like, John, get out of the apartment.
Get out of the apartment right now, that's not my apartment.
And he says, like a different apartment number. He's like, no,
I'm in here. I'm like, that's not my apartment. So

(02:01):
he runs out of the apartment and he's freaking out.
He while he's in that apartment, it's somebody's like, like
something's going on there. He saw thirty thousand dollars of
cash on the kitchen team, which I was like, that
should be your first clue that it's not my apartment, right,
And there was like no furniture, just a bed, so
it must be someone's Like second, can you imagine if

(02:21):
the person was home, he.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Could center of the home warning a hoodie in New York, right,
smile boy.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
And I'm like, thank god the person wasn't home, because
my door person could have got arrested, my.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Cousin could have gotten shot. So we got him in
the right apartment.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
I zoomed back and was able to resume the Sunday
and have it with him just a few hours later.
But I did tell him, oh, I'll pick you up
from the airport all this stuff, but I had to
rush back from Michigan, so I'm a moron and he
almost got shot thirty thousand dollars worth of cash.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Wow, let's talk about the fact that your doorman is
giving out the wrong apartment ease.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Yeah, I thought it was just like a master here
or something, but she just mixed up the numbers and
I was like, oh my god. And so yeah, we
almost had a real bad situation.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Yeah, what if somebody have been in there, That's what
I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
And the same kind of person who's leaving thirty thousand,
I mean, I don't know what kind of person that is,
but the same kind of person to get thirty thousand
dollars was in a moment. And by the way, she
there was never thirty thousand dollars. I don't know somebody.
I have no idea that was never there.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
In the meantime, this guy's got a very nice new
role like give you a waiting by the phone?

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Why does somebody get ghost?

Speaker 3 (03:35):
And it's next after Sabrina Carpet There in two minutes
