(00:44):
blogs on the Fresh SOCYC we're running in our diaries,
except we say them aloud. We call them blogs. Kaitlin,
where's it a CIA wedding? Go?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah, so, dear blog, my cousin got married over the
weekend in Virginia and congrats to them before the is
it isn't it interesting that it was in Virginia? Okay,
So I want to take it back though to the
first time that I met the wonderful man that she
married over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
And that was a little.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Wonderful man because he's got access to all your phone records.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Oh, chef's kiss the best man I ever met. So
before I met him a little while ago, I was told,
because I guess my family knows who I am as
a person, you're gonna meet your cousin's fiance, do not
ask him what.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
He does for a living.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
And first of all, I'm like, Okay, how convenient, Like, oh,
he has some sort of secret job that he can't
talk about, Like is he a drug dealer?

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Like I need to look this man in.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
The eye, because how convenie, you can say, Listen, don't
ask me about my job.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
I'm not going to.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Explain it be a nice benefit, you'd be like, I'm
gonna have to stay out all nights tonight. I'm gonna
have to go to the the adult club, right, have
to right part of my secret job.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Like it's the perfect lie. So I meet him.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Yeah, we're doing a sting at Monday night football and
Hooters tonight with my friends. It's a sting. No, it's
just a sting, I tell you, it's just thing right.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
I was already like I don't know, you know, I'm
protective whatever. My cousin's younger. So I meet him and
the whole thing is we're playing in my head and
he's asking me what I do and all these questions,
and then.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
We had an awkward silence.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
He's looking at me, I'm looking at him, and I'm like,
I'm talking about me, and I literally just word vomited.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
What do you do? Okay?

Speaker 2 (02:26):
And he was like, I work for the government, period, like,
never said anything else, and so I was like interesting, interesting, interesting.
So then over the weekend didn't think much more about it,
but like, I do know, I do know that he
does something in that line, okay. So I meet some
people that know him, okay, and the drinks start flowing
and I'm like, well, how do you guys know each other?

(02:48):
You know, looking people in the eye and they're not
really giving me real answers, and I said, what's the
After a couple drinks, what's the craziest thing you ever
seen him do? And He's like, lift four hundred and
fifty pounds and I was like what and He's like,
or speak fluent Arabic, and I'm like, oh my gosh,
So now everyone at the wedding is just I'm just
suspicious of everyone at the wedding.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
I'm looking at the waiters.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
All the waiters are tiny and they're you know whatever,
But there's this one.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
How does that happen to see? Listen?

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Well, I'll tell you because I think one of the
waiters was not a real waiter.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
This dude was huge, barely could carry a play and
is just in the corner staring at all of us.
And I'm like, I think that he's not a real wow. Wow,
I think we're being watched.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
He was a plant.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
But no, really, like I genuinely think that.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Like they started answering questions that they probably weren't supposed
to after a few drinks, and I was like, I'm
not the one, Like I shouldn't be asked to keep
a secret, Like I don't want to be any part
of this.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Shelley's husband military Mike, Like, you know, she doesn't always
know exactly where he is. She knows what he does,
but you know he's in the Navy and he goes
on the ship and he goes out to wherever, and
unless he's taking shirtless pictures and he beat that, then
we don't know where he is. Yeah, so, and that
would be weird to be married to someone You're like,
I don't know, you were gone for a month. I
don't know where you went exactly, but you went.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Just some of the stories and like why were you
guys in the Middle East and what were you doing.
They's just like a whole bunch of stuff. And basically
I can't hang because after I had like two whiskeys,
I was like, I was not enjoying the wedding.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
I was just asking everyone questions.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
I want to know too, I'd be super curious.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
But like, I genuinely think that this waiter was like
protecting us because they were like multiple important people.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
I don't it was very odd in case.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
The Russians invaded or something.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
I don't know. I was like, I was just like,
I don't know. The big waiter was hot too.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
It was hot, definitely CIA then in that case, yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yeah, I don't know, Like, why can you live four
hundred and fifty pounds by yourself?

Speaker 1 (04:40):
I met a woman once who her husband worked in
a Pentagon and she had no married to him, dated
him for a long time, married him, had no idea
what he did, knew that he worked there, no idea,
no clue that maybe she did. And then it was
gonna tell anybody. But like I got the impression, she's like,
I don't know what I've never known what he does.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
I couldn't do. I learned that I could not do that.
And what's to stop these men from saying that? And
then it's not true.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Now that's what I'm talking about. Right, You work for
the Pentagon? Is that where you go every day? Right?

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Well, I do the same thing here. It's a long
like the CIA, except to see opposite. I come in here,
I say whatever I want, and then when I go
home and if i'm you know, family or friends or
dating somebody or whatever mine. I had to do that.
I had to tell that story. I had to take
those liberties. I had to I had to embellish. I
had to my job. Okay, it's my job to embellish.
It's my job to talk smack. It's the we are

(05:29):
opposite CIA agents. We are CIA agents inside out. I
could never I can't keep one secret. I could never
do it. But my mom just got a little tippy
to and was like, no, you look too small to
be in this or that. I'm like, Mom, be quiet.
You don't know who you're talking. You don't know who
you're you don't know who you're talking to. They've already
gone through your personal records. Yes.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Yeah, well it was a really small wedding. I wonder
if we were all like vetted

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Maybe you were, well, you probably wouldn't have gotten in
if that
