Speaker 1 (00:00):
Talking about it.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Yeah, they talk better than they excited talking about tell
me about it. These are the radio blogs on the
Fred Show, like we're writing in our diaries, except we
say him alive. We call them blogs kiky, Yes, your
blog though, all right, dear blog.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
So I don't know if you guys have had this
experience yet with the little people in your life. But
yesterday I spent some time with my three year old nephew, Cason,
who I'm completely terrified of because, yeah, he just moves
to the beat of his own drum. You never know
what he's gonna say. His new thing is telling everybody
to be patient. So you know you like case and
go tosses in the garbage, would be patient.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
That's his new that's his new move.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
So yeah, I was spending time with him, and I'm
always scared of what's going to come out of his mouth.
But he was on his iPad yesterday and his brother,
my brother was like programming my new phone for me.
So I'm talking with his mom, but I can hear
in the background what he's watching on his iPad, and
something on his iPad kept saying like, if you love
your mom, don't scroll past his video. And I'm like,

(00:57):
what kind of weird stuff is the YouTube with these kids?

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Right?

Speaker 1 (01:01):
So, as I keep hearing this in the background, I'm like,
you know what, let me introduce him into some new stuff,
you know, some stuff that I loved when I.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Was a kid. And by new stuff you mean new
stuff to him, but new to him very much to me. Right.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
So my first thing was like every kid, I feel like, well,
love the Goofy movie soundtrack. I don't know if you
guys remember that.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
What's they.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Saying it?

Speaker 2 (01:24):
How to I?

Speaker 1 (01:25):
It's a Tevin Campbell song, but it's on the Goofy.
That's Tevin Campbell. Yes, no, wonder, I like that stuff.
It's so good, Like that soundtrack is crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Oh yeah, it's an emotion. Come on, okay, this is
a good song. It's a good song. I just never
do this with Tevin Campbell. Oh yeah, no wonder. So
what did he think?

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Oh my god, So you could tell that first he
wasn't really feeling it because it took too long to start.
So he was like and then when they started doing
the dance moves, I was like, Cantsey, you can do that,
you can do that, And he was like, yeah, I
can't and he started buy into it. I was so happy,
like it was one of my proudest moments seeing him
enjoy this because it's so good. You just hear the nineties. Oh,

(02:19):
I'm like one way on another together where we both
below lid.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
How okay, it's time see it? That's kind of fire
so good? Did the radio play it? Maybe it's what
year did that come out? Nineteen ninety five? Was the movie?
I could see that used to happen, Like yeah, TV

(02:58):
songs like I remember the Uh the Friend's theme song
was played on the radio, the Remembrance and remember God
what uh? The Rugrats movie? Oh yes, Maya and there
I want to go there.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
So I tried that one too with him yesterday, but
he was he wont filling that way. I think it
was because it was real people in the video, but
on the Goofy movie it's all cartoons. So he really
was vibingto this, and I was like, this is what
we need to do. We need to introduce the new
kids to the old stuff so that they can have
the appreciation for the good stuff. I agree, Like, I
don't give me wrong, Miss Rachel was cool. You know

(03:33):
what I'm saying, but like, come on.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Goof No, I agree with you. I agree with you.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Know you gotta you gotta introduce them to the old things.
So I don't know, have you, guys ever introduced the
little people in your life to like something you loved
and they actually liked it?

Speaker 2 (03:45):
No, Because I desperately this was a year ago though
probably was only I guess three, but I desperately wanted
her to like Wiley Coyote, like the Coyote and the
road Run. Yeah, I'm like, come on, I'm gonna show
you something. And we sat there and she was so bored.
She like I don't know if maybe she didn't get
it yet or like it just wasn't there wasn't enough
going on.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
There's not enough set.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I'm like, look, it's a coote and he's kind of
dumb and like the road Runner always gets away, and
probably's looking at me like this is like so old time. Yeah,
this looks like, you know, like one of those paper
books where somebody flips the boot and it's like animated.
You know. I felt like Walt Disney himself trying to
introduce you to this thing. But you have a bunch
of nephews I mean, what did he tried to show

(04:25):
him them that they did.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
They weren't into everything from the nineties. Like, I want
them to go back and watch do you guys remember
all of that. I want them to go get that,
all all that, all that, ah that. Yes, I want
them to fire right like I want them to feel
what we felt back then. I tried to introduce him
to Barney last night. He kind of felt Barney a

(04:48):
little bit, but he was like it might be a
little too slow, you know, like I love you. He
was like, all right, what's next? And the thing I
learned is they want to scroll like they want to scroll,
so you have to get them on an algorith rhythm
that will just keep them scrolling in the nineties. So
i'm i'm this is my new mission, is to teach
all the nephews the old stuff that we loved.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Well, whatever it is you introduced to them, a Jason
at age thirty six or whatever. He would also like
you to introduce him because he somehow was frozen in
time until Taylor Swift came apome. I'd like to see
the Goofy movie, So if you can send that over
to me wherever I can find that he was looking
like my nephew.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Just now with the song playing, he was like wow

Speaker 2 (05:26):
But yeah, that is the thing though, even if you've
experienced all this stuff, take a gummy and it's a
whole exciting more PRESD show next
