Speaker 1 (00:01):
Yeah, they talk better than the excite tell me about.
These are the radio blogs on the Fred Show. It's
like we're writing in our diaries, except we say them aloud.
We call him blog skiking. Yes, you're ready to go?
Speaker 2 (00:12):
All right, dear blog. Every day when I'm on my
way up here from the parking garage, I never know
what I'm going to experience. The security man might jump
out from behind the desks and yell and scream and
ask me what's in my bag and what's in my hand?
Speaker 1 (00:25):
In my morning's right? Every morning that dude is just
waiting a second he sees one of our heads come
up the escalator the moment. I have no idea how
the overnight security man has so much energy. He has it,
but I'm never ready for it. Even though it's every day.
I'm still never prepared.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Never ready. And you know me, I like to creep
on by. I will close the elevator on you on purpose. Well,
I mean, listen, we don't want to You don't want
to talk to me that early in the morning. I
don't want to talk to you. So let's just get
this overweight, get your own ride ups up here. Sometimes
if I there far enough I'm not waiting, so you know,
but tomorrow. This morning, this man was sitting there already,
(01:05):
so I said, okay, we're doing this.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
And I guess you don't have to get out here.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
I'm like, okay, we're doing this now. I already have
been questioned by the security man about my life and
house everybody. And so I get past him and we
get on the elevator and this guy is so nice.
He is the night He's like, good morning, how are you?
Speaker 3 (01:27):
Like great?
Speaker 2 (01:28):
He's like, how was your weekend? I said it was great?
Beyonce was there. He says, oh my god, we're talking
about this the tour. He's asking me questions as we
go off the floors, but the entire time I'm not
focused on what he's saying so much. He has a
really big black eye, like like a really big black eye,
and I'm I'm like, I don't know what to do
(01:48):
in this situation. So I don't know if I asked like, well,
how was your weekend or what happened or you know.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Do you what happens? I don't know. I was like,
maybe help, like you know you need yes. So so
it's like, yetle fit in the room is that you
got this black eye and you can't help but you
have to look at it because it's on a guy's
face and you're communicating with him. But you're also like,
(02:14):
you know, you're not sure. I can't say anything about
it because it's rude, right, But I feel like my business.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
As the person with the black eye, you should just
tell me what happened.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
You know what I'm trying. You have a black guy,
then you have an obligation as you walk up to
people like hey, yeah, yeah, yeah, I take a number
four and yeah, I got a punch of the face
of my girlfriend this weekend, so yeah, yes, I shouldn't
have said what I said.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
You know, if you're gonna ask me how was my weekend,
you have to tell me what happened to your eye?
Because now I can't stop this. All I've been thinking
about all morning is is he okay? What happened? And Kaylin,
I know you have been down this road before. You
had a black guy, Ken had a black guy.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
For a while. How did you get the black eye again?
I was in your closet.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
Yeah, I was clumsy and got up too fast and
nicked my face. It was the worst black eye because
I've had more than one.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
And then you thought it was hilarious when we went
out when you had this pronounced black eye. And then
you and I went out to eat or something, and
you told everybody around that I did it to you,
and people like were looking at me. They believed you.
They were like looking at me, and I'm going, she's kidding.
I didn't do it. And then I started to look
aggressive defending myself, and that people are like, you see,
(03:25):
I'm telling you you're aggressive, and then she has a
black guy. You did it right.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Yeah, as a person who has had multiple black eyes,
I wanted people to ask me about it because I
can feel you looking at me. I'm looking at you,
and I did start to get ahead of it because
I was annoyed. I was like, I don't want to
keep talking about this, but I couldn't cover it up.
I wore sunglasses in here because I was like, this
is awful, but stop.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
But you always wore sunglasses, you know, you one walks
around with sunglasses everywhere.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
They were just darker at that time. But no, I
would have appreciated if you were like, oh my gosh,
are you good? What happened?
Speaker 1 (03:56):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (03:56):
So when I see him again in the hallway. I'm
just gonna go ahead and break because I need I
can't rest. I need to know what happened. But I'm
just like, bro, you're talking to me and you know
you have a black eye. Just tell me.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
But one rule about black eyes, and this was covered
on my favorite show, I Love Lucy, is that no
one ever believes the real story of that black guy,
So you have to lie about how you got the
black eyes so people will believe it. Because I had
people everywhere being like, listen, you're good. You're really good,
taking me off to the side. Are coworkers at GC.
I'm like, you, guys, it is true. I am clumsy.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
I am said you guys, Fred did it. But we've
all been there before. We're like there's something on somebody's face,
or like it's Zi or we all we've all had it,
and it's like once you see it, you can't unsee it.
Then you're trying so hard to look around it, which
probably looks more obvious. The Entertainmer report in two minutes
