I try to do when we have days off or

And I went by my sister's.

House just to Dillyan Daly, just to see what she's
up to, go bother her, stress her out about wedding stuff.
And I'm pull up and my nephew before I can
even get in the house. He's at my car and
I'm like, what do you want? And he's like, can
you take me and my girlfriend to the racing place?

Sixteen? Yes, i'd get some driver's license.

Was like okay, and he was like, I'm like, so,
y'all going on like a date? And he's like, yeah,
like can you take us to the racing place? So
I'm like, okay, you know sure? Now is that you
pick up, drop off pay for? Also, so here's the thing,
ok how crafty is this? Yeah? I didn't know how
it was going to go. So first of all, the
girlfriend came out of the house, which I was like, oh, okay,

she's hanging out. Okay, So they came and they got
in the car. She's very polite, very beautiful little girl.
And they get in the back and so I was wondering, like,
is he going to sit in the front or is
she going to sit in the front, or how does
that work? Like a true gentleman, He's sat in the
back with her. So now I'm there show for you're
an uber driver.

Now you're an Uber driver. Yeah.

So I'm like, okay, where would you like to go?

So he gives me the address and I'm like driving,
but I'm just wondering how is this gonna work? So
I pull up to the place and they got out
and she both said thank you.

I watch him he rushes to the door.

I was so proud, like that's my boy. He opened
the door for you know.

They walk in, and so I'm like, okay, I'm gonna
sit here for a minute just to see because I'm like,
he didn't ask for money, he didn't try to text
me on a loa.

I'm like, he must have his own money, Okay. So
I sit there.

And then I pull off and I get a call
and he's like, Auntie, can you come back because we
need a eight somebody eighteen to sign the waiver so
we can do the rest.

So I'm like, oh my god, he still needs me.
So I turn around.

I'm so excited to go in and you know, get
them all situated, and I'm just waiting, like, please ask
me for some money because I need you to need
me because I don't like that you don't need me,
and sure enough the late the total was like one
hundred something bucks. He pulled out his little money. He
had two fifty dollars bills.

Sixteen years old, take one hundred dollars days. Where to
get the money from?
Speaker 3 (03:05):
He worked with his uncle a few days.

Before the job. He won't let him have Well, I love.

I don't want him to work at the local restaurant
because I know what happens at the local restaurant on

So he busted out one hundred bucks to pay for this.

So then I'm like, okay, I'll go get my nails
done and then maybe they'll be ready for me to
pick them up. So I go and getting my nails on.
He calls, He's like, okay, we're ready. So I go
back and get them and I'm like, okay, cool. It's
about six o'clock in the evening. That's I think that's
time to go home and everybody go back and get
ready for school. This man gets in the car and
he's like, oh, next stop, please, can you take us
to Buffalo Wildwind?

He had more money, had more money? What is paying?
What is it? What is the landscaping place or whatever?

It's the Honey company, you know, my brother, Honey company.

Yeah, I get out there with the bees.

I gotta put a bee suit on. How much money?

This kid is flush?

He is, And so I took them to Buffalo Wild
Wings and sure enough they got out and they were
on their way.

That would have been an extra step right for the driver.

Yes, But I just I can't believe it, just seeing
him at this stage and like he's maturing and he's
he's just so responsible. And you know, the girlfriend, like
it's just it's so weird, but it's so, I don't know,
you like her.

Yeah, she's a good girl. I like her a lot.

So I didn't have a hundred bucks for anything when
I was sixteen, I know, one hundred dollars days.

I was splitting dates with me and we were going
to like the problem you were, Yeah, we'd go to
like a park, like I don't know what we would do,
like the entertainment was just like going anywhere we could
to make out like that was it.

And honestly we got like corner of the mall and
walk it right exactly there is Yeah, there is no
money like that. I might have had twenty bucks maybe
you know, to go like fir's a date though, what
was the first date you took a girl on? Were
you twenty?

I don't know. I'd have to think about it.

But my parents wanted me to have girlfriends and stuff,
like they were like, we'll pay for your dates if
you'll go on them, because they were yeah, you know,
well because they don't want to have any money like
in college. They were like you can take it, take
it to dinner, like we'll get it. Because they didn't
want me to have a job. So it was so
I'm like, well, what do you want me to do
about this, you know, and they're like, well, we want
you to have a girlfriend, so like, well, by the way,
you can see investment in the future because twenty five

years later it didn't work.

I would do the same thing for my kids though,
like because I get it. You know, something like that
is you don't have a hundred bucks to do that, right,
I mean unless you're working, which is awesome, but like,
I don't know, I guess i'd probably i'd probably kick
my kids some money to do that stuff, especially if
I wasn't gonna let them work, right yeah, it, I
wasn't making that blockbuster money for another year or so,
and then that was when I was just rolling.
