Speaker 1 (00:01):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show. Well,
good morning, welcome to the program.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
How are you.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
I'm doing pretty well, pretty.
Speaker 1 (00:12):
Well, pretty well? Right right right, No, I got it.
So that's what we're here to help you with it.
You met a woman named Carissa. I gotta know how
you met her, and then tell us about, you know,
these dates that you've been on because or a date
or whatever, because the issue here is that you haven't
heard from this woman since you went out. So give
us the backstory. Okay, So we met him, bumble.
Speaker 4 (00:36):
She's super cute. We had good texting, we agreed to
go on a date. Everything was going well. We had
a fun date. It was awesome. She's super cute. We
had good rapport, a lot of laughs. She would ask
if we could go back to my place for a bit.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
That was her idea. She okay, all right, oh my god,
I will right here.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Okay, because you know the woman, because usually I feel
like it's not neces stereotype too much, but usually it's
the guy like, hey, you want to come over.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
In this case, he was no, no, no, christa stereotype.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
Well, you know, I'm just saying, in my experience in many,
many years of this, it's typically the guy who's trying
to get the girl to come home.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
It's just you know, I've I'm a.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Bit of a social scientist, and some people would call
me a sociologist, but some of some wouldn't. But anyway, so,
so she wanted to go to your house, and you're like, yeah, okay,
let's go exactly.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
And we went back to my place.
Speaker 4 (01:38):
I went, well, I thought, now I don't know, I mean,
I thought for sure there'd be a second day, and
she ghost to me.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
So she wants to go to your house, You go
back to your house. You guys have a great time,
and now you can't hear from her. I can see
why that's a little bit confusing. So let's call this
woman Chrissa. In just a second. We'll see if we
can get her on the phone. You'll be on the
phone as well. At some point you're welcome to jump in,
and we're always hoping that we can straighten out whatever
the situation is and set you guys up on another
date and pay for it. All right, hey will yeah,
(02:09):
all right, welcome back. Let's call Carissa. You guys you
met on bumble and you went on a date. The
day went well, Carrisa wanted to go back to your place.
It was her idea. According to you, you did all that.
Everything went great there too, But you have not been
able to get a hold of her since this date,
and you're confused, and you want to know why you're
being ghosted exactly.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
All right, let's call her now. Good luck.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Will, Hi, sus Carissa, Hey Chrissa, good morning.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
My name is Fred.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
I'm calling for the Fred's Show, the morning radio show,
and I have to tell you that we are on
the radio right now and I would need your permission
to continue with the call. Can which that for just
a second on the show. You can hang up anytime?
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Oh yeah, yeah, sure, we're perfect.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Well, thank you so much. We're calling on behalf of
a guy named Will who we just spoke with. He
reached out to us that he met you on bumble
and you guys went out recently.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
Yeah, okay, I remember it.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Well, okay, Well, he liked you and he thought the
date went well. He said, the date went well, and
then apparently you asked to go back to his place,
is what he said.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
And then he thought that went well.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
He didn't really get into details about that, but he
says that he's reached out to you since then, hoping
to hear back from you, and he hasn't, and he
wants to know why. So can you, you know, can
you kind of tell us what's going on?
Speaker 6 (03:24):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (03:24):
Yeah, sure. Well we did go out to drink and
we did have fun on the date, and I did
go back to his place and all.
Speaker 6 (03:39):
Was fine until I grabbed a handful of candy. He
had a bowl of candy sitting on his bar in
his house, and I grabbed a handful and ate it
because the candy was left out.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Yeah, well they were therese originals, Like what do we right?
Speaker 2 (04:03):
All right?
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Anyway, so he grabbed you grabbed a handful of loose candy,
and then what happened?
Speaker 6 (04:11):
I ate it and he looks at me while laughing
and says, oh, you're gonna have fun later.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Okay. I asked him why are you why? What?
Speaker 3 (04:22):
What is that?
Speaker 6 (04:23):
What is that supposed to mean? He said that it
was a bowl of edibles.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
It was it was THHG laced or not laced but infused,
which is legal in many places. But okay, yeah, so
so he just leaves that stuff just out like he's
just sort of there for the taking, apparently, would be
nice to know. I assume that's what your issue is,
is like, well, now I'm going to get super stoned
and I didn't know that because you didn't tell me.
Speaker 6 (04:52):
Yeah yeah, And at first I was like, okay, you're
you're you're messing with me.
Speaker 5 (04:57):
You're screwing with me, right.
Speaker 6 (04:58):
And once I realized he wasn't joking, I got my
ass so fast.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Well, yeah, because you just consume a thousand milligrams, you're
about to be comotos.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
Yeah yeah, yeah, you need to get there and set
up camp.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
For the next right, yeah, yeah, right, you need to yeah,
like get under ash and stock up, you know, four
to five, you got to get the right surprise.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Sorry we're laughing.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
It's not funny, no, I mean, but I would be
annoyed too because you don't just I mean, I get it.
Maybe he doesn't have kids, and maybe you know, the
guy likes likes his gummies, and that's fine, and if
it's legal wherever you are, that's fine, but you know
that's not something you did.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
I think you got to tell people, like, hey.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
In what world do you just leave that out right?
Speaker 1 (05:45):
I mean, yeah, I think. I think if I saw
a bunch of candy, then I might say, I'm gonna
take this and enjoy it, and and I wouldn't necessarily
think I need to only take one because I'm going
to be one to you know, really high. Later, I
forgot to mention that will is your will. I mean,
you you watched it. Would be one thing if she
did it and you weren't there, you know, like if
(06:05):
she saw it and grabbed it, Oh my gosh, I'm
so sorry, like that you weren't supposed to grab those
like that was it whatever, But you watched her do it,
and then you were like, oh, it's gonna be fun.
Like it's almost like you knew what she was doing.
Let it.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
Well, I thought she knew first and foremost.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
How would I know that? I mean, how would I
know that?
Speaker 1 (06:25):
It looks like it look like a lot of things. Yeah,
it comes in many forms. I don't know if you're familiar.
It wasn't like she ate a bunch of joints like.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Fair. Yeah, if you're right, it is fair. Yeah, one
will zero.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
I mean I don't who has like actual gummies out,
you know what I mean, Like obviously they're weak gummies
obviously what.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
I don't think that's no, I don't think that's obvious
at all. I think I think I might. I look,
I could understand and maybe this day and age, you ask,
but I also she was you were standing right there,
like you could have been like, oh, just so you know,
those have THHC in them and you might get a
little high. Maybe don't eat forty of them or whatever.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
I don't know. I think they I think it's pretty
obvious these days. And why would you just eat random
stuff off someone's counter?
Speaker 2 (07:23):
I mean, okay, but you were standing there.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
But again, if you weren't there, for like, if someone
was at my house and I had something sitting out
that was mine and I forgot to tell them that
it was there and they ate all of it without
asking me, or like they found it brownie and they
ate it and they were like I can't believe that.
Then maybe, but like, if I'm standing there, I'm not
going to let you consume all of that.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
You would assume that you don't.
Speaker 5 (07:45):
Wann a person, right, And.
Speaker 6 (07:49):
So I was uncomfortable obviously at that point. So I
hadn't set in yet, but I was focused on getting
home because like I was, like, I spent the entire
night laying on the carpet feeling like the ground was.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Moving, right, like, that's you probably got pretty high? Yeah
I was.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
I don't even smoke, Okay, Like I don't.
Speaker 6 (08:09):
Have a problem with people that too.
Speaker 5 (08:11):
I don't, but I.
Speaker 6 (08:12):
Personally I have never enjoyed it, So I would have
liked to know I am.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Yeah, no, I that's messed up. Come on, man, like,
all right, well ask the question. So somehow he let
you do this, He watched you do this and didn't
warn you until after the fact that which is really uncool.
But would you like to go out with him again?
We'll pay for it? And now you know what the
big bowl of candy really is.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
You know, I'm good.
Speaker 6 (08:41):
I'm good because I don't feel like I can trust
this guy.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Yeah, it gives you that into that like some people
don't want to they don't want to be high at all,
and not anyway.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Some people don't want to be high, right.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
Right, all right, look, Will, it's not going to work out, CHRISA,
thank you for answering the phone. If you're talking with Will, dude,
Not only that, but is that kind of expensive? Like
you probably she probably ate fifty bucks for their coming. Like,
what are you doing like today?
Speaker 3 (09:09):
I'm not about like halloween candy. It's not like.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
I mean, that's a good decorative bowl on your counter,
right that looks like halloween candy.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Crystal bowl.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
I mean okay, all right, thank you, Christa Will good
luck to you as well.
Speaker 5 (09:23):
Thanks, thank you,
