Speaker 1 (00:02):

Speaker 2 (00:06):
It's the Fred show. Mark. Hey you doing Mark? How
are you very well?

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome to our show. It's waiting by the phone. Tell
us about I have your email here, but tell us
about your day with Amber and tell us everything and
where you guys stand as well?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
All right?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Cool? So I met her at a bar. We were
just hanging out with I was hanging out with my friends,
she was hanging out with hers, but we ended up talking.
We ended up exchanging numbers. We're supposed to meet up
for drinks, and she didn't show.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Up, didn't show them at all, didn't even.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Show up at all. Now she won't respond to my
calls or my text or anything. And you know, I
thought she was great. She was attractive, she was personable,
she seemed interesting. But now the no show, I don't
get it.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
You know.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
So we're not even talking about getting ghosted after a date.
Like you guys met and talked and planned a date,
You show up and then she doesn't.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
Yeah, just gooded me up. But now you know, now
I'm worried. I'm like wondering if she's okay, or is
she married? Is she in the this protection program?

Speaker 2 (01:01):
You know, I assume you've reached out.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Oh yeah, plenty of times. It's just nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Mark wants to know. In fact, there was never even
a date. He met a woman and then she never
showed up for the date, So what's the deal. Hello, Hi,
sus Hamber, Good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling
for the Fred's Show, the morning radio show. The whole
crew is here, and I do have to tell you
that we are on the radio right now, and I
would need your permission to continue with the call.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Is it okay if we chat for just a second?

Speaker 4 (01:31):
I guess, I mean, what is this in regards.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
To I'll take I guess is a yes? Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
We're calling about a guy who reached out to us
named Mark. He says, you guys met at a bar
and planned a date that you never showed up for.
Do you remember this guy?

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Oh yeah, So what happened?

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Oh yeah, this got to be a story here what happened?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Because he says you met and he says that you
had a date and then he went to the date
and you didn't show up and he can't get a
hold of you now, and you want to and he
wants to know why.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
So can you tell us why. I mean, I mean I.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Liked him at first, you know, I was interested at first,
but he lied about his profession to me.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
He lied about his profession. What did he say and
what does he do? Well?

Speaker 4 (02:20):
He said, he's in beverage distribution, beverage distribution, and like, look,
he's good looking, you know, like I thought he had
a nice job. Whatever.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
So you're talking to the bar and you're attracted to him,
and he's you know, he looks I don't know, put together.
And he said, I'm in beverage distribution, okay, and you
don't know what that means, but it sounds good.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
And so how did you find out that? What that matter?
What does that mean?

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Okay? So you know two days later, I actually walked
into Starbucks to get a coffee during a break at work,
and oh no, the bark was standing there behind the
taking coffee. He was a barista.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Like that's.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
I mean, yeah, but like you made up a fancy title,
it's pretty good.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Let me say, I forgot to mention. I forgot to
mention that Mark. Uh, Mark's on the phone. Mark, Come on, man,
it is.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Fine, and you just won't date it. Barisa. That's all
there is to it. You're too good for it.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Why don't you just say you're a bliss?

Speaker 1 (03:30):
I mean, look, you didn't lie, but come on, I
kind of see where she's coming from here. You you
did make the gig seem a little more a corporate seeming,
and I agree with you. She doesn't want to date
to Barisa, and we can talk about that.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
No one wants to date a liar.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Let me explain something. Poppy is a beverage that a
long distribute beverages. I'm in beverage distribute.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
But when you say that, now, let's on the flip side.
When you say that mark to a woman, that's a
nice way of concealing that you're a barrista, which I
think I'm guessing you think sounds less impressive.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Yeah, well, I mean I didn't want to scare her away.
But what's wrong with day and a barrista?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
In the first there's nothing. There's nothing wrong with Danny.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
And you really feel that way, then why can't you
just be up front? It's like, how would you feel
if I was like, I'm a dancer and then you
go to a strip club and there I am on
the pole brou.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
All right, so you felt lied to, then you felt deceived.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Yeah, I mean, if you're gonna lie about that, what
the hell else are you gonna lie about?

Speaker 2 (04:33):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (04:34):
Like, just tell a girls straight up what you do
and maybe it'll be benefit you because she'll like you.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
For exactly that.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
And this guy Marcus clever as hell, Yeah, because he
sounds like he's full of crap and I kind of
like it.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
You know what you did, Mark, you know what you did.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
I was just trying to so I was just trying
to solve the impact a little bit here.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
But here's the interesting thing.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
You would if you had not walked through the Starbucks
that day, that particular Starbucks and seen him making drinks
behind the thing that you would have gone out with did.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Yeah, but you're right, Like if I had lost in
and he hit on me behind, you know, when he's
making the coffees, I wouldn't have, you know, I deterred
from a date. But the fact that I waltz in
and he's just behind the thing making coffee and meanwhile
he's telling me he's.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Very good. That's pretty good.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
If you would have, if you would date me not
knowing what I do for a living, then why did
it matter?

Speaker 2 (05:24):
He didn't lie?

Speaker 4 (05:24):
He and you know what, like, listen to the women here,
like a what even a little white lies starting off
the rel like what do you do every time you
want to date? You tell girls this?

Speaker 2 (05:35):
And then when did they find out? All right?

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Look, so is there any way the amber you would
consider going out with barista Mark? Now that you know
that his distribution beverage distribution means that he's a barista,
would you consider dating him?

Speaker 4 (05:49):
No, I'm sorry, I'm a tough cookie. It's just not
the lie.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
It's just not worth this gold digger.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
My god that you still don't get it.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Hey, you got piles of tips, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Oh my god, I'm not even gonna get that.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
I love you, Mark, I love you, I really do.
I mean you.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
I almost said it myself. I don't think you lied.
You deceived and you got caught. But I think that's clever.
You're you're not this one. I recommend I recommend just
saying you're Barissa man Ain't nothing wrong with that?

Speaker 2 (06:20):
All right?

Speaker 3 (06:21):
