So we met on hinge and we've only been on
one date. We talked for a bit, we planned a
date and I took her out for drinks and I

over a week since our date and she hasn't texted

was flowing. Like you left this date. I need you
to have a moment of self awareness here. But you

Yeah, one hundred percent. Like I left it. I walked
out going this is great, like I'm going to see
her again. I can't wait to see her again. And
then nothing.

but it's okay. We're calling on behalf of a guy
named Miles who reached out to us, and he he

shared that he had met you and you guys went
on a date recently.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Yeah, we did.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
So what happened with him? Because you know the way
that he describes things is that he liked you and
I guess you guys had drinks and he felt the
conversation was good and at least good enough that you know,
there would be a second date. But he says that
you haven't responded to him at all. So what happened?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Well, I don't know exactly what you know he told
you about this date, but.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
He said we were going out for.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
D set like his spot. You know, he said, bring
a bathing suit. You know, I got really excited. I
didn't know what a spot was, you know, a swimsuit. Like,
I got very excited. I didn't know what I was
getting into. He just gave me an address, you know,
didn't say exactly where to meet, just the address.

For drinks and gave you an address and told you
to bring a swimsuit.

Yes, so so big. I'm like, I'm very excited. I thought,
I think, like it's going to be some like super
snazzy hotel or something. Yeah, like it's I don't know,
I don't know what I thought. I thought like maybe
a speak easy something.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Something I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Okay, all right, all right, so a swimsuit date at
a random address. Okay, so you would have been an
apartment complex pool. Now where did you wind up?

Speaker 3 (03:58):
I mean it could have been that. Yeah, but I
get there, I pull up and it's it's his gym,
a gym, so it's then, I mean it was a
bougie gym, but like drinks were like a smoothie.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
The swimsuit so we could go in.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
The hot tub. Like I showed up in dress and heels.
I thought this was it was going to be a
S fifty like hotel or something.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
I don't know. So homeboy had you in a Planet
Fitness on one no adjudgtment zone though it was just cool, wow,
all right, and so you proceeded, I mean going there
and get in the hot sub and have a banana
smoothie or something. I mean, what was that? What the
day was? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yeah, I mean it was cute, but just not at
all what I expected, and like, just say, we're going
to the gym.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
You know, there are some like gyms that are kind
of country club issue depends where you live. But you know,
some cities have really fancy ones, but I guess a
little warning about that, and some I have actual bars
in them too, so that would be some thing. But
like this, this wasn't that. This was a gym but elevated. Yeah, okay,
let me miles. Miles, you didn't tell us about the

fact that you asked her to show up at Planet Fitness.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Plan. But it's not a it's not a Planet Fitness.
I feel like, like my gym is fancy. Like I'm
just saying, like, I don't know that you could even
afford a tour there.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
I didn't have any money. Yeah, okay, well, way to
do some charity work then miles nice and.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Look, I'm just saying, like you could have ordered food
there too, Like you didn't have to stick to a smoothie, like,
like there were a lot of other options.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Do they have a kale salad there? That is unbelievable
at this place? You've never had anything like it.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
He didn't specify, and he didn't order food. I was
just going with the flow. It was my first gym date.
I guess you know, I didn't.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
I mean, at least he didn't like, try and get
you on the treadmill or something. I mean, you're trying
to get you to do some aerobics or something. I mean,
it's it's a strange venue and he should have given
you a heads up to what to expect. But he
says it's a fancy place though, so there, yeah, so fancy.

I can't afford it.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
So yeah, yeah, don't take me to a gym ever.
Yeah again on a date. Yeah, speak to yourself, right,
you'd be down for this. I've had a lot of
first dates that steam works. Okay, well that's not a
gym on the third floor. There's some there's some working
out that takes place there. If you know, you know,
but that's a very different experience. Yet, even if it

were like a nice kind of thing like a club
or something, I would still want to heads up as
to what we're doing exactly, because you know, she got
all dressed up thinking that. You know, I don't know
what she thought, but that's weird. It's a weird place
to take someone. Miles. Have we done this before?

Speaker 2 (06:50):
You know, it was my first time.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Yeah, maybe it's the last, you know, maybe we don't.

Do that again. Taking a shot. I was just trying
to bring her into a part of my world, you
know what I mean, like stuff that I enjoy, things
like that.

I mean, you guys could have played like pickleball or
something and maybe that takes place there and then you know,
but I don't know that can activity involved. There's a
lot of ways to set this up, and I don't
really think you did that. It's a little strange to
go hang out in the in the public gym hot
tub on the first day. Jason doesn't think that's strange
at all, strange at all?

Been there?

Yeah, okay, Well, sometimes romance blossoms there, I don't Yeah,
sometimes something blossoms okay, all right, Well, look, would you
like to go out with Miles again, Jessica? What if
we What if we choose a neutral location that doesn't
require any kind of membership and we'll pay for it
dinner drinks is traditional.

No, I'm not interested. He doesn't need a free, free meal.
