Never been left waiting by the phone.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
It's the Fread Show. Hey John, good morning, Welcome to
the program. How are you.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
I'm doing all right?

Speaker 1 (00:39):
I guess wow, Okay, you sound dejected, John, Like this
makes me sad, you know, because sometimes people call up
here and I'm like, you know, they think they've been ghosted,
and we're like, how you doing, I'm fantastic? Like, well,
how are you? How are you fantastic if you think
that the love of your life ghosted you? But but
you don't sound that way. So what's going on with
this woman? Hallie? And tell us how you met about
any dates you've on and then where things are now.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
Well, we went out for drinks a while back. I
met her on inch and we were very flirty with
each other, and I asked her if she wanted to
go back to my place after we got a big
tipsy and she said yes, and it was pretty cool.
It was fun time, I mean, But the next day

(01:22):
she never responded. I don't know what happened.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
The date went well enough that you guys wind up
hanging out after the fact, and you know, some stuff
went down or whatever, so that's usually a good sign.
And then she left and you reached out what the
next day, a couple days later to say hey, what's
up and plan something else, and you haven't heard from
her since then, exactly. That's frustrating because I would have
thought that was a successful date, and I would have
thought that person wanted to see me again. But let's

(01:46):
see if we can get Hallie on the phone. We're
going to play a song, come back call her. You'll
be on the phone at the same time. John, I
don't want you to say anything right at first, but
at some point, you're of course welcome to jump in.
And the hope here is that we can straighten this
out and then set you guys up on another date
that we paid for. So hey, John, all right, welcome back.
Let's call Hallie. You guys met on Hinge, the dating app,
and you went on a date that went really well.

(02:08):
You had a few drinks, you went back to her place.
Things were going really well, except you have not heard
from this woman since the date and the drinks and
the hookup, and you want to know why. Yep, that's
very squirt. Okay, let's call her now. Good luck, John.

(02:31):
Hi is this Hallie Halle? Good morning. My name is Fred.
I'm calling from the Fred Show, the morning radio show,
and I have to tell you that we are on
the radio right now and I would need your permission
to continue with the call. Can wit chat for just
a second on the show, would you mind?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, I know it's weird to get a call from
the radio on the spot. I totally understand. But we're
calling on behalf of a guy named John who says
he matched with you on a dating app and you
guys went out and had a good date what he
thought was a good day. Do you remember him?

Speaker 3 (03:02):
I do?

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Okay, So what happened because we know, we talked to
him for a minute. He called us and said that
he was excited to match with you and he thought
the date went well and it was flirty. Says he
went back to your place afterwards, and he says that
he hasn't been able to get ahold of you since then.
You haven't responded to him at all, and he kind
of wants to know where the disconnect is.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Uh right, Yeah, I don't. I don't know about talking
about that kind of thing like on the radio though.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
I okay, I don't want to make you uncomfortable, but
you know, you can tell us whatever you want to
tell us, and then we'll kind of decide, you know,
if we can do that or if we can do
that on the show or not.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I mean, what happened, okay, I mean, so we had
a nice date, you know, we we were.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Talking having fun.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
But unfortunately this guy he vapes, which is whatever. Like
I don't, I don't really have a problem with it.
You know, it smells like handy every once in a while,
that's fine, but he I really feel like this dude
is like addicted to his vape because he had it
in the restaurant, like up his sleeve, so or so

(04:25):
he would like take up puffs every once in a
while and then like blow it up his sleeve so
that like the other people at the restaurant wouldn't notice wow,
which yeah, yeah yeah, And I mean like because like
there's no smoke or anything if you just like blow
it up your sleeve and it's like no one said anything.
So it just kind of was what it was. But

(04:45):
like we we had fun chatting and like things got
pretty flirty.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Yeah, whatever this was wasn't enough. You weren't so offended
that you didn't want to keep it out with him
and then invite him back to your house. I mean
it's it's a little lock word, right, a little weird
in case you get caught and get kicked out. But yeah,
I get it.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Yeah, it wasn't something that I loved, but I mean
it was certainly something that wasn't like a deal breaker.
But we did, uh, we did go back to my place,
and you know, like we we we I don't know
what I can say on the radio, Yes, okay, we did.

(05:26):
But like the specific thing that he was doing, let's see,
he was like taking care of me, I guess we
could say. And while he was doing that. He reached
over and grabbed his vape and took a puff of
it and then went back to it. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
I was like, oh my god, oh yeah, I couldn't
even get through like an act exactly.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Exactly like that, right, I mean, like, I know it
can't sing. I was like, am I going to get
some sort of like residual? We're not We should not
be blowing smoke up there. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
It's not meant for that. Wow. No, no, no, no,
no nicotine or addicted to weed or I'm not not addicted,
but you know where they use it constantly. I've heard
of this. But I mean, oh no, he is.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
He is addicted to this vape.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
I think we can put it down long enough to
do what we gotta do. Wow, I mean.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
It's not like we were at it for hours, like.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Well, I don't think you had the stamina to go
for hours if he's addicted. Let me bring up John in.
This is all starting to make a little bit of
sense to me. Now, John, I forgot to mention that
John is here. Hally, I'm John. We we really can't
set the vape down long enough to do that.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
I mean, she was clearly enjoying her soul, said, I
don't see what this issue is.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
You don't see me? Oh like, I mean you can't
seem to get through any activity in your life, including
that without without vaping. I mean, you got a problem, bro,
It's not.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Really a problem. I mean I was having fun. She
was having fun. It's not really something that's so big
of an issue.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Oh my god, you are in so much denial, my friend.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
I've really never heard of this. I've heard people who,
you know, they they have to use different products before
and after, you know, whether it's nicotine or whatever else.
But like you know, smoke breaks, I got to go outside,
take you know whatever. But I've never heard of anybody
who couldn't put it down long enough to do that.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
I mean, it's not like it's a life changing issue.
I can stop whenever I want.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
I really not. It does not sound like that at all.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Well, I don't I don't know what to say. I
just I'm just chilling. I was, I was, You're ing's
going on? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah, no, no, No, to make matters worse when you know
it came time to return the favor, he vaped the
whole time.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
I'm yeah, dude, and you're saying youre trying to tell
me John that you don't have a problem.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
I think it's the natural things to want to vape
when you're doing something.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
When you do, you know nothing about that as natural. Like, no,
the vapor is inherently not natural. Can you do anything
in your life without vaping? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (08:24):
I mean are you bringing into the bathround dad?

Speaker 1 (08:27):
Right? I mean, is there ever a time where you're
not vaping?

Speaker 3 (08:30):
I mean, sometimes I just want to leap. I don't,
and I guess I eat when I I depe when
I eat sometimes. I mean it's sometimes it's so if.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
You're not sleeping, then you're vaping, or you figured out
a way to do that too.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
I mean sometimes I wake up and I just you know,
thake fuff. It's not like it's an issue.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
Do you have a.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Job, right? How many raps are you going through? Bro?

Speaker 1 (08:58):
For your health? I'm very worried about.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Your You're longer Swiss cheese.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
I mean I think I'll be fine, Okay.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
All right, Well, look, we've heard a lot of things.
I've never heard of that. But would you Halle? I
think I know the answer, But would you like to
go out with him again. What if, Hey, do you
think it's possible John, if we set you up on
another date that you don't bring the vape? Is that
is that possible?

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Yeah, that's no. Wish I go out with him again.
No vape.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
I don't know, No, I don't. I don't want to
put him through that torture of having to be away
from his purchase little vape for hours. So you know
this is a favorite to him. I'm going to pass.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Well, Hallie, thank you for your time. I wish you
to pass. John. Seriously, John, I think you have a problem.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
I don't think so. I mean it's for a lost
take hit right now.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
I mean he keeps tucking on that battery. Was gonna
something tells me you didn't stop taking hits before, during,
and after this call?

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Yeah well yeah, yeah, well yeah, all right.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Yeah we done here. I'm such a right sorry here, right,
I don't even know what to say about this. I'm like,
maybe I need to hit the vabe. But both of
you guys, all right,
