Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show. Yes,
good morning, welcome to the program.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
How are you hey, Thanks for having me doing well?
Thank you?
Speaker 1 (00:13):
All right, Well, hey, it's our pleasure. Maybe remains to
be seen. I'll tell you in ten minutes. But what's
going on with this woman?
Speaker 2 (00:20):
Sierra?
Speaker 1 (00:21):
Tell us how you met, about any dates you've been on,
and then what's going on now.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
And how we can help. Yeah, so we met on Hinge.
She was smoking hot. We yeah, once we matched, you know,
conversation was amazing. We have the same interest, same humor.
She just like super flirty. Right off of that, everything
(00:45):
was great. So yeah, got her number, asked her out,
and she said, yeah, just got some drinks. She was
like even more beautiful in person. I guess she was
a little shy. Maybe she was nervous. I'm not sure,
(01:06):
but yeah, that was I mean, that was.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Like I said.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Other than that, I thought we had a great date. Afterwards,
I asked her if she got home. Okay, she told
me she did, thanked me for drinks, but after that
that's not heard back from her, Like, yeah, I don't
know what's going on.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
So now we're here, all.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Right, So I mean, there was some communication directly after
the date, like same day, but then like next day
and beyond that nothing.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
She started to go see it that yeah, oh yeah,
pretty much.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
All right, Well, let's call Sierra. You're gonna be on
the phone, Jesse at the same time. Let's see we
can get you some info before you jump in. But
at some point you're welcome to jump in, and the
hope is that we can set you guys up on
another date and pay for it. All right, cool, thank you,
Let's see what's going on?
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Part two of.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Waiting metaphone after Gaga, Rene Mars back you two minutes.
Spread show Idiot is the Fred Show on the radio
and the iHeart app. You can listen live at any time,
search put a Fred's show on demand, and make us
a preset.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
Hey, Jesse, Hey, what's up? All right, It's called Sierra.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
You guys recently went on a date and you thought
everything went really well, except you have not heard from
her since the date. I mean, like you did mention
she was a little bit shy on the date, and
but you thought it went well, and then you texted
her to make sure she get home and she responded,
and you know, whatever, but then since then you haven't
heard a single word and you have no idea?
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Why?
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Nothing, Yeah, no idea?
Speaker 2 (02:32):
What's called Sierra?
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Now?
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Good luck? Jesse? Thank you? Hello? Hi is this Sierra? Yeah? Hey,
good morning.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
My name is Fredam calling from the Fred Show, the
Morning radio Show, and I have to tell you that
we are on the radio right now, and I would
need your permission to continue with the call. Can which
hat for a couple of minutes on the radio? Would
you mind?
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Fuck?
Speaker 1 (03:00):
I guess I know it's a little bit strange. I
do understand that party, but thank you. We're calling on
behalf of someone who reached out to us. His name
is Jesse. I guess you met him on hands the
dating app and you went out.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Okay, okay, good joke. Yeah, I mean I don't know,
it's no.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
I mean he reached out to us and he said
he liked you a lot after your date and uh,
and it's surprised he hasn't heard from you since then.
He wanted to go out with you again. So he's
asked us to kind of figure out what's going on.
Why are you not reaching out to him anymore?
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Oh, it's pretty simple.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
I mean he showed up to the date in a
full face of makeup, like blush, fake lashes, lipstick, eyeshadow,
the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
I don't judge, but like, it.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
Was just kind of shocking because he had no pictures,
like zero of him with makeup all over you know,
his dating profile or socials, and honestly, he seemed very
masculine on the you know apps, and he he did
on the date too, just with tons and tons of
makeup on.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
So wow, full face speed for the you are you
are a special lady? I mean he really he did
his big one just for you?
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Now? Was he was?
Speaker 4 (04:08):
He?
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Did he look nice? Did you like? Did you like
to look?
Speaker 4 (04:11):
It was?
Speaker 2 (04:12):
It was just shocking more than anything he did.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
He did a good job at his makeup, that's what
you're saying, But I'm not. I just was like, what,
I feel like there should be some kind of heads up.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Or something now when you look at like when you
were looking at him on the dating apps and stuff,
he didn't have any of this then, Like maybe you
couldn't tell. I guess if it was you know, a
good good anyway, you wouldn't know.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
No, I mean he did not, he did not look
he looked again. He looked very masculine on the dating apps,
just like I like them.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
And so that to you, the makeup is feminine. I'm
just trying to make sure I understand your position here
and then you you don't want to be the guy
who wears as much or more makeup than you do.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yeah, that's a sentence. I didn't think that would say today.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
I feel like every day I say a sentence I
didn't think I would say. But let me bring in
in Jesse, Jesse full face of makeup?
Speaker 2 (04:56):
Right? Is that is that correct? Did she? Did she
observe properly?
Speaker 3 (04:59):
I mean, yeah, I was wearing makeup, but it wasn't
like that much making me off to sound like I
was a clown or something.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Thick glasses all out.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
I just know, I'm just mean, you know, I'm just
making sure I understand what I'm setting the scene. I'm
painting the picture. I'm making a picture Paulina building. Oh
you're right, I'm building it.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
Yeah, what like what am I supposed to do? Like
I text you before, like to tell you I'm a
lot makeup like it's twenty twenty five.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
Yeah, and twenty twenty five like communications like really into
you know what I mean, like some form of communication
about it.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
How long have you worn a shot? How long have
you worn this much makeup?
Speaker 1 (05:39):
I mean you have like a and I'm being honestly,
I'm asking the questions you have like a skin condition
or are you trying to cover something up? I mean
I've heard, I mean I have I have a little
concealer at the crib man. Yeah, I have some man
sealor I've been known to put a little drop or two,
you know, to cover like an ingrown hair, like yeah, okay,
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Look, hey, go up, Frederick. I have you never heard
that before? I think I think men do that sometimes.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
They do.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Different guys.
Speaker 1 (06:04):
I don't have eyelashes right now, I'm not I don't
have them on now. You know, lipstick might be a
little extreme and like you know, like foundation and things
like that. I don't think i'd go that for manly
because I'm too lazy. I'd probably look better. But I
hate I hate to say that, you know, it's masculine, feminine.
I hate to get into all that. But at the
same time, I mean, I think you know, some women
(06:26):
like men to be what they consider men to be.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
More traditional.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
I don't know, like carrying an axe and cutting trees
down and stuff. I don't know, Is that is that
kind of what you're saying, Sierra is, Hey, you want
to wear makeup?
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Fine, that's just not what you're into.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Yeah, and also maybe give a heads up to the
next woman you've got on a date with.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
That's weird.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
I mean, how's he's supposed to say that? Like, hey,
you're not going to believe the beat I just got
on my face.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
He doesn't put it on his social media photo?
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Is different than person right that you nailed it?
Speaker 4 (06:57):
No different than being like, I'm six foot something and
then then you show up in her five foot eight right.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Now, how would you be able to tell if he
didn't have makeup on in the pictures? I mean you
could tell if he didn't have eyelashes, But how would
you really know a in a profile.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Picture lavender eyeshadow and lipstick.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
Yeah, yeah, you would know that that's true.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
And Jesse, this is something that you just started doing
or you tried it out for this stage, or like,
if it's not happening in the pictures, when did you
decide the full face of makeup was the move.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
I mean, I've been doing this for a while, but
it's like it's not I don't know whatever that's it's
not that much like it's not like she's making you
sound like I'm wearing like a ton of makeup. I mean, yeah,
I like do my face up like it looks nice.
I don't understand what the problem is.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Yeah, I don't want you to know that about it,
And you could do whatever you want, right like, but you,
I think you probably also have to understand that. True,
it's well good, but you have to know. Hey, you
do you and with the sas too, But you. I
just think anytime you're doing something that's vastly different from
how you represented yourself on the profile, aren't you kind
of asking for You're kind of asking for some some questions, right,
(08:13):
I mean you want to you want to show up
the way you look, the way that that someone you
know swiped right on you, wouldn't you think?
Speaker 2 (08:19):
I mean I was wearing makeup.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
In some of my pictures, just like I wasn't wearing
maybe as much, or I was wearing something different, But like,
I don't know what it's all right, Well, I mean jealous,
like because my bee was better than hers.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
That's right. I mean, I look, you do you.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
I just think you know, whatever it is that you do,
you'd have to understand that it may not look I
have a beard, right like I have a I have
a I don't know, it's more than stuble. I think
that that is something that people are attracted and I
realize it's different than wearing makeup.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
I'm not being that softer piec.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
But I'm saying I have a beard, right, so, and
I think women are attracted to that, or some are
so that if I show up without a beard, I
look like a different person. And you might say, like,
I wouldn't take it personally if you were like I
like the beard. I've had people say to me, I
like the beard better, and so I can't really I
mean it's superficial, yes, but I mean I don't know.
(09:13):
We've had people on the show before who they matched
with a blonde and then the person shows up and
they have black hair. You know, we're like dark, dark,
dark hair, and that's not what they matched with, and
so it wasn't disappealing to them.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
So you kind of have to understand that, right.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Yeah, for sure, you know, maybe I'll like maybe I'll
get some more pictures with like kind of my more
like updated look.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
But I guess we got a girl, Zoe Rain. We
got and we'll get your face beat too. What's your name?
I mean, Laura. We'll hook you up. We'll hook you
up body By Lauren. You know photos By's an amazing photographer. Yeah,
we'll get you spray tanned up, man wax if you
I don't know, maybe you're not if you want to
(09:57):
get wax or whatever we possible. Oh that was okay,
all right, we've found the limit, Kaitlin. All right, Sierra,
I'll ask the question he wants to I mean, I
guess we don't know how he's going to show up
to the date because he wants to do what he
wants to do.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
What would you like to go out with him? Again?
We'll pay for it, Coy, No, thank you?
Speaker 1 (10:18):
All right, Hey, Jesse, good luck to you, and you
know you'll find somebody who's not jealous of your beat
and and Sierra, thank you for your time as well.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
I will. That's right.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
The entertainment report is next. You have two minutes after
the weekend five hundred and fifty bucks Makiki in the showdown.
Right after that, it's the friend show back in too
