Trying to figure out why you may have been ghosted?
Why do you think he's avoiding you? You know, I

We matched and he got my number, asked me for drinks.
It was nice and we had a good time with fun.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
We actually ended up going back as place after.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
So now I'm confused because that all happened and he
hasn't reached out at all, Like even when I reached
out to him, he didn't answer, So I need your help.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Okay, all right, Yeah, I mean it's one thing to
meet someone from the dating apps because you never really
know what the chemistry is going to be like in person.
But it was good enough that you guys hooked up,
so I mean it's probably pretty safe to assume he
was into it, except then why wouldn't he call you
for another day?

a good sign. The problem is you haven't heard from
Clayton since then, and you want to know why he's

thank you. Hello. Hi is this Clayton. Yeah, Hey Clayton,

good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling for the
Fred's Show, the morning radio show, and I have to
tell you that we are on the radio right now,
and I would need your permission to continue with the call.
Can we chat for just a second on the air.
Oh yeah, that's cool, Thank you very much. We're calling
on behalf of a woman who I guess you matched
with and went on a date with recently. Her name
is Katie. Do you remember Katie?

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
I do, Okay, so yeah, I do. Just that it
was already kind of low energy, and then it's like,
oh god, so what happened? Because she called us, dude,
and she was really describing what she thought was a
successful date and she thought she'd hear from you again
and says that you haven't reached out, So what's going on? Okay? Interesting?

Speaker 4 (02:39):
Yeah, no, I haven't really been calling her back because on.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Our date she was pretty aggressive, okay in what way?
Like uh okay?

Speaker 5 (02:53):
So like it started out fine, everything was going okay,
but then she's sort of invited herself back to my place,
which I'm not really used to. I'm usually tak things slow,
but things were going all right and it was cool,
so we did and then after hanging out for a
little bit.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
She sort of got set off.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
And was going in on me for for not making
a move on her, and she kept saying that, oh,
I must not think she's attractive and I haven't tried
anything on her, and any other guy would would do
that in this situation.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
And I don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
That really just turned me off and it was just
a bit a bit much.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
You know, So what did you, like, you like, hooked
up with her? At a guilt that happened? She said,
she said, you guys hooked up? So like what did
she talk you into it? Then? Is that what had
to happen? That's what happened?

Speaker 4 (03:43):
I mean, I guess so, I guess it's it's just
something I wasn't really used to.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
I guess, you know, like along with it, well please me,
like damn it get naked? I mean, like did she
have to force you? I wouldn't pay force obviously. It's
like long is it?

Speaker 4 (04:05):
But that's sort of forwardness And that's sort of like
I said, like that it felt kind of aggressive to me.
It's just like you can retrospect them, Mike, that's just
not something I want.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
To I mean, hey, look in fairness, you're allowed to
have your boundaries, you're allowed to have your comfort level
and what you do and don't want to do, and
it sounds like you know, and again I hate these
sorts of arguments. But if this were the other way around,
then this guy's the biggest scumbag of all time, There's
no doubt about it. But now we're laughing because he's
a guy. But I'm not sure that, you know, nobody

(04:35):
should be laughing because he has every right to say
I don't want to do it too, but you did
do it. So I'm kind of wondering, like, did you
guys ar'm wrestle it out or like what, you know,
what happened? How did she finally convince you that it
was a good idea?

Speaker 4 (04:47):
I mean, it's I mean, it's not that hard to
be convinced when you know she's pretty.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Okay, Well, let me bring her in. I forgot to
mention that Katie is here. Katie. Uh so you guilted
him then, according to him when you went back to
his place.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Because yeah, I'm still not understanding, like when you go
out with someone, the things could possibly happen. There's potential,
you know, anything could could go so I didn't think
there was anything out of the ordinary, Like why would
you ask me out if you weren't attracted me?

Speaker 4 (05:20):
You know, Yeah, but it's not that I was definitely attracted.
It's just it's, you know, I just like to take
things slow personally.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Normally, which he has every right to do. I mean,
I guess if you know, if you said, where's the
sex and you're like, and he says, so I want
to take things more slowly, you might not be used
to that. But I mean, I think we have to
respect that the same way that we would respect it
if you said it, right, I mean, wouldn't you expect
him just to back off if you said the same thing? Well, yeah,
I guess.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I just you know, I didn't think anything was strange
of it. So the fact that like you couldn't even
say anything about it, the fact that we have to
be on air and now to talk about that, that
strange to me. So, like, I don't I just don't understand.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
I don't know, but he hit it. I just want
to make sure I'm clear. Well, yeah, but it sounds
like it sounds like she had to convince.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Him it was a pity hit it right, But he
did hit it, you know what I'm saying, Like I do.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
That's why the message is a little mixed for me.
But you were attracted to her, Clayton. You just you
would have rather waited a little bit longer, is all
you said. I don't do these kinds of Well, that's
what I'm trying to figure out, Like, is this just
an incredible strategy? Like is this just should I be
doing this? Should I be like, yeah, you know what,
I don't normally do this? And then the girl's like,

(06:32):
what do you mean? And then all of a sudden,
the script is flipped, right, I mean, are you Are
you one of the smartest people we've ever met, Clayton,
or are you actually like trying to lay down some boundaries.
I can't figure out which one it is because you
did do it, that's true, I mean, but it wasn't
like I was going and thinking I would. I think
it was this might just be brilliant strategy, honestly, Yeah,

(06:55):
that's what I mean. I don't know. I have to
say though, if this was the other way around, if dude,
it is like, what do you mean you won't put out?
I mean, we have a real problem for sure, And
and so the fact, I'm I'm torn here between whether
he was trying to be boundaried and you just talked
him into it, or if this guy was playing hard
to get and it worked. I don't want to have
to talk you into it, but you did, and he

did him laying on a man cover his eye. Except now,
but here's the other thing. So he did do it, Okay,
it already happened, So then why not call her again?
I don't think this is the real reason. I don't think, Clayton,
this isn't the real reason. Is it's Jesus. I think
it's just sort of it was just sort of the

attitude of it all.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
Even going to the radio to to solve this seems
like I don't.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Know the move that I would have done. No, I mean, Clayton,
this this movie is going in the old noggin for
future years. But I just can't figure out because you
did do it, okay, So you did cross that line
and you say she's pretty and you had a good
time on the date. So I guess I'm curious now
why the ghosting? I mean, did you wake up and

feel guilty about it? Is it some kind of a
moral thing? Like, I guess, I just don't know why
after it did you know? Okay, so you you crossed
the line, but then why not continue to go out
with her if you like her? I was just sort
of thinking that if it was that sort of.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
You know, if she was I keep coming back with
work aggressive. But I feel like if she was that
sort of aggressive about it initially, then it's just like like.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
What's next, Like before long she's peer pressing you into
a colt or something like what I mean, too much?

Speaker 2 (08:35):
This, this all seems a little ridiculous now, and now
that I'm thinking about it, so I think it's way
too confusing. It's I take it back, no second date
for me.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
I don't know, though, Clayton. I think she's going to
think about this for a while, and I think this
is potentially brilliant. But all right, look Katy does now
Kati doesn't want to go out anymore. We called on
her behalf, Clayton, but now she's not interested. So Clayton,
I guess not another day in this case. Alright, dude,
this guy is just like whatever either way, and Katy's

all fired up. She wants to me. I think we're
watching the picture. I think this is what true mastery
looks like. I've been doing it wrong. Exactly right, honestly exactly.
