Speaker 1 (00:01):
I've never been laught of waiting by the phone.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
It's the Fredshell. Hey, justin, good morning, welcome to the show.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
How are you jayone of guys?

Speaker 1 (00:09):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
How you doing well?

Speaker 2 (00:11):
You gotta see us that's going on, because I guess
you think you're being ghosted by a woman named Nora.
So how did you meet Nora? Tell us about any
dates you've been on, and then where things are now?
All right?

Speaker 1 (00:19):
So I met her on the ass. You know, we
talked for a couple of weeks. Things were pretty good.
It was a really nice vibe. After a while, I
was just like, let's just do it. Let's just meet
up in person, let's just go for it. And she
was like, all right, sure, let's give a shot. And
we go out. We're planning to go out, and she

(00:41):
just doesn't show up. And I mean, I don't know
what happened. I mean, we were we made it, we
made a plan, we were going to go out and
have dinner. And I show up and she's not there,
and I call and she's not answering my messages, and
you know, I don't know. I mean, I didn't do anything.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Wrong, Okay, So you want to know how you go
from like matching and chatting to planning a date, you
showing up and then she just doesn't come at all. Like,
you know, normally we hear stories about stuff that happened
on the date, you know, something that the person did
or said or whatever. But this is a story about
a date that really never happened, Like you got ghosted
before you even met.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
So how could you have screwed that up?

Speaker 1 (01:22):
I mean, I don't get it. I mean I didn't
even get a chance to do anything wrong.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
It's rude. I mean, that is a little puzzling. Kiki.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
We've never heard this, well I shouldn't say we've never,
but I mean all the years. But normally it's it's, well,
I don't know why she didn't call me, and it's like, well,
because you know, I don't know where do I even begin.
I don't know why because you own an elephant.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Yeah, but there's always a reason, or.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Or because you sleep in the same room with your
roommate with a sheet that separates you and you're forty.
I mean, you know, these are the kind of things
that we hear. But you never even met Nora in person,
So how could you possibly have screwed this up. I
definitely didn't. I don't know what it could be. Okay,
no clue. All right, well, let's play a song. Come
back in a couple of minutes. We're gonna call nor
get her on the phone if we can, gonna ask
these questions. You'll be on the phone at the same time.

(02:03):
And the hope is that we can straighten this whole
thing out, and then I guess sets you up on
what would be a first date and pay for it. Okay,
all right, don't let's see what's going on. Part two
of waiting at the phone. He's right after Gracie abrams
back in two minutes, no move.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
You gotta hear this. It's the Fred Show.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
So Jeff, the single dad from Siergo yesterday, he's on
the show. We found him and he's on the show
in less than ten minutes. We're gonna get to the
bottom of this. We're gonna find out who was right. Shenanigans,
No Shenanigans, Hey, justin, Hey guys, all right, hey guys, smooth,
Hey guys, let's call Nora. You guys matched on an app,
you planned a date, you went to the date, right,

(02:41):
and then she didn't show up, and you haven't heard
from her since you've reached out. Hey, where are you?
I'm sure you reached out afterwards? What happened whatever? No
response from this person whatsoever? She matches with you and
agrees to go on a date and then doesn't come.
So what could you have possibly done?

Speaker 1 (02:57):
I don't know. I mean I thought maybe something happened
to you, remember his action or something, but you know, nothing,
got a damn thing.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
All right, Well, let's call Nora now, good luck? Justin h.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Hello, Hi is this Nora. Yeah, my name is Frek. Yeah, Hi,
my name is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred's Show,
the morning radio show. I have to tell you that
we are on the radio right now. I would need
your permission to continue with the call. Can we chat
for just a second?

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Yeah, sure, Well, thank you very much. We're calling on
behalf of a dude named Justin. He says, uh, he
reached out to us. We just talked to him. He
says that he met you on one of the apps
and you guys planned a date that you then didn't
show up for. Do you remember matching with him and
all of this?

Speaker 4 (03:45):
I mean, yeah, I remember matching but I think it's
pretty obvious why my ghosted him.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Well, so he doesn't think so, because the way he
describes it to us is that you guys matched and
chatted and set up a date that he went on,
and then you didn't show up. So it's apparently not
obvious to him.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Wow, okay, so that's okay.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
So that's what he said. Okay, well i'll see you
what happened? So, uh yeah, I matched with him.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
I was excited, he was cute, he's funny.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
We're gonna go grab drinks.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
So I show up to the bar and I order
a drink. I'm waiting, Like fifteen minutes go by. I
get a text from him saying, oh, I'm going to
be a little late, but okay, whatever. Fine, So I'm
just waiting.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
I'm waiting and waiting.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
All of a sudden, he's an hour late, and so
I was like, okay, whatever.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Forget this.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
I close out, I leave, I get home, and then
I get a text from him saying where are you
and I'm my babe, I'm in my pajapas.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
I'm home. Okay, So you sat there for an hour.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
He's still texting you that for an hour and then
you went home and we're able to like change your
clothes and get in bed. And then he said, what's
all this dude was like ninety minutes late at least?

Speaker 3 (05:07):
Yes, okay, so and he expected you to sit there
away for him. I guess I.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Don't why, Well, let's ask him, because I forgot to
mention the justice here. I'm very forgetful. I get caught up,
and I'm just I forgot justin you did not mention
to us. See here, I was trying to defend you, like,
what could you have possibly done? Well, I know, showed
up ninety minutes late to a date. How can you
expect someone to sit there? Then?

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Well, first off, I told her I was gonna be late.
And second I think it was like forty two minutes,
fifty fifty fifty seven minutes tough, like, it wasn't that bad.
And I told her I was going to be late.
I had a lot of other stuff going on. I
had a close up meeting to have someone, the stuff
I had to do. I was really excited about the day.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
And then she just told me she didn't even sat down, honey.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
Just because you warned that you're going to be late.
Doesn't give you unlimited time.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
That is, I cannot expect someone to sit there later.

Speaker 4 (05:59):
What do you mean you had a lot of stuff
to do. I had a lot of stuck to do.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
You can't expect someone to sit there for ninety minutes,
justin like, that's the length of the first day.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
It wasn't. It wasn't ninety minutes. It wasn't ninety minutes.
Maybe sixty maybe like sixty four minutes, maybe something.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Well, sixty four, Well, if it had been sixty three,
I would be You can't make someone wait an hour.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
That's so rude. You're trying to make a first impression.
You can't. You can't do that.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
I wish I had a lot of.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
This is I'm not wrong.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
I'm not wrong.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Oh no, you are right wrong, dude.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
I told her I was going to be late.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Yeah, I mean it feel like I.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Just didn't say it.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
But you could of like push it back or even reschedule.
I know it sucks sometimes right to get hit with
the hey can we do another day?

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Thing?

Speaker 5 (06:43):
But if you know that you're busy, and trust me,
I'm miss busy to be okay, I'm the girl who
pretends to be busy.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
All the time.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
I just literally like scheduling my own stuff on my
own calendar, but I will make time to make sure
that I have enough time to travel, get there, sit down,
and then personally, yeah, the damn it.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
You cannot. Okay, Paulina, you do it. You're famous for this.

Speaker 2 (07:03):
Actually, Okay, so you got Kiki, Hey, Kaylen, you cannot
on it. Especially in a first date. You cannot show
up an hour late. You need to plan your day
justin around the fact this is a first date of
first impression. If you're five minutes late even, I think
that's you need to be as close to on time
as you can. And I'll also tell you this, if
you cancel a date within an hour or two of

(07:24):
a beginning, you can pretty much count on unless you
unless you get a really good reason and you're extremely
proactive about planning a second date. I think you can
also expect to not hear from the person again, because
you can't be like that, especially early on.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
You can't waste people's time like that.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
It's not my normal thing, Like it's not I don't
do this. You don't know that she didn't give me
a chance, so like she didn't give me a chance
for her to know me, to know that that's not
the Normala gave.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
You sixty minutes, she gave you ninety minutes.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
Do you know you have ninety minutes again again?

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Sixty four minute stops.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
Oh, I don't think that that bet that's a long time.
Even I would say, the fact.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
That you're not apologetic shows that you do do this
all the time.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Yeah, you're you're not backing off this, like you could
just easily say, you know, I screwed up, I screwed up,
I don't know, my day got away from me, traffic
was terrible, my car broke down. You could say a
lot of things, and you could you could ask for
forgiveness and maybe you got a shot. But you're sitting
here saying like, ah, I oh over an hour late?
Oh well no, No.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
I didn't say, oh well, I said, and first of all,
I said it was sixty four minutes. And then also
I said that it's not my normal thing. And also
I told her I'm not wrong.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
Okay, I'm there, right, are you?

Speaker 5 (08:36):
Even if someone I knew had me waiting for an hour,
like I'm pissed off, but I'm not waiting for that.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Long late means five ten minutes late does not mean
over an hour. And she's saying, and look, she's saying,
she sat there for an hour at least, and then
she went home and changed before you got it in
her bed, before you even texted. And this is I
don't look, Nora. I'll ask the question. I know the answer.
Would you like to go out with Justin? If he
shows up on time? We'll pay for it?

Speaker 4 (09:00):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (09:01):
There you go. What do you mean whatever? You're in
the wrong here, dude.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
I don't know why you're bragging about sixty ft, why
you're bragging about me? Can you see you're saying it
over and over again. You were over an hour late
for a date. That's a terrible first impression. I don't
know why you think you expected or why you think
you deserve another one, but you're not going to get it,
so it doesn't matter. Nora. Thank you for answering it
for your time. Justin, Good luck out there, show up
on time.
