Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show.
Hey Sam, good morning, Welcome to the program. How are you, Hey.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Good morning. I'm doing pretty good. How about you?
Speaker 1 (00:12):
We're doing great. So tell us what's going on with
this woman, Katie. We got to know how you met,
about any dates that you've been on, and then where
things are now, and how we can help sure.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Yeah, so, uh Katie, Yeah, Katie and I met at work,
and you know, I just sent her out and working
a pretty big like office setting, and like I mean,
there's hundreds of employees, so it's not like, you know,
we see each.
Speaker 1 (00:37):
Other dating and work can be you know, precarious if
things don't work out. It's kind of funny because you
say there's a bunch of people that work there. There's
a bunch of people that work here too. And the
only person I've dated who works here, I never saw
this person before we dated, and now I see this
person all the time. Now that didn't work out. It's
like I never saw this. This is a long time ago,
you get you know, it is a very long time ago.
(00:58):
But anyway, I'm not saying that's going to happen to you,
But it's kind of why you don't date where you work.
It's kind of why you don't typically date where you live.
But anyway, you did it, So what happened?
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Yeah, you're not wrong, But yeah, so I saw her
in the elevator one day and you know, I just
said hi, I introduced myself, got our number usual, and
then we went on what I mean, I thought was
an awesome dinner date. You know, we had a lot
in common and yeah, like, for instance, we both have dogs,
(01:33):
we love animals, like that stuff, and even we got
to the point where we were talking about going on
a second date and taking our dogs for a walk,
you know. So yeah, it was just really great. But
then I reached out and I haven't heard from her since.
Didn't respond, And yeah, I'm not going to like creep
on her at work, but.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Yeah, don't do that. Yeah, don't go go to her floor. Whatever.
So you wind up with a girlfriend and a job.
But okay, so it sounds like it went well. You
were talking about this cute second date with the dogs
and the whole thing, but this woman is not responding
to you. I assume you've reached out, you've texted, you've called,
you've tried to set up another date and nothing.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah no, uh, no idea what happened?
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Okay, let's call her now? Good luck? Sam Cool?
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Hello?
Speaker 1 (02:26):
Hi is this Katie? Hi? Hi Katie, good morning. My
name is Fred. I'm calling from the Fred Show, the
Morning radio Show, and I have to tell you that
we are on the radio right now, and I would
need your permission to continue with a call. Can we
chat for just a couple of minutes. You can hang
up anytime, okay.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
I'll talk to you, I'll.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Talk to see you. I mean I wouldn't be excited either, honestly,
but thank you for giving us a chance. I would
hang right up on me, frankly. But that's okay, don't
don't do it. I'll get right to it, Katie. We're
calling on behalf of a guy who says he met
you at work and you guys recently went out. Her
name is Are his name rather is Sam? Do you
remember Sam? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Sam, I do remember him?
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Okay. So he reached out to us and told us
that he, I guess you guys met at work in
passing and that he wanted to go out with you.
So he asked you out and you went on a date.
He thought it went really well and was hoping to
go out with you again, says, He's reached out and
you're not responding. So he called us and we're kind
of the you know, the middlemen here and women. We're
(03:25):
trying to figure out why you're not calling him back?
Are you ghosting? What's going on?
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Well, initially I thought that Sam was nice and good looking,
and he seemed like a gentleman. But now I'm really
not sure anymore.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Why is that what happened? Because he thought the date
went really well, talked about another date. I guess you
guys were going to go walk the dogs or something
like that, But you're not calling him back, So why.
Speaker 3 (03:52):
Yeah, well, I thought the date was going well at
first too, and we started talking about both of our dogs,
and so I got my phone out to show him
my dog. I have a German Shepherd and I really
wanted to show him. And then he got excited too
and pulled out his phone to show me his dog.
(04:14):
But then he started scrolling through the photos and before
he got to his dog, there were just all these
photos of it was just all nude women.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
You know.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Yeah, the very first pick that came up was boobs.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
He quick.
Speaker 3 (04:35):
Yeah, like it was just all nude women. He just
kept swiping on like it was probably like ten more
picks of nude women before he got to his dog.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Also, maybe not all the same women even or was
it or do we know because their faces? I mean, he.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
Scrolled through it quickly, but I could see that there
were different women, you know, like, okay.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Yeah, you're not supposed to save those in the camera role, Sam,
So what did he do though? He like quickly tried
to scroll through all of them. They get to the
picture of the dog, and then he showed you the dog.
I mean, was there any reaction to he'd try and
pretend like maybe you know, you didn't see it or what.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
He tried to just like play it off and ignore
it and just like, you know, think that it wasn't
a big deal or something. But I definitely saw all
of that, So okay, it's just impossible to ignore it,
you know.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
YEA, why are we saving those? Why are there so many?
What might be the question?
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yes, to his defense, he might have they might have
got a text message and you know, g have an iPhone,
it automatically goes to your camera role.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Even I've actually learned a similar lesson. But we're not
talking about We're not talking about me right now, Rufio.
We're talking about Sam. I mean, but why are there
so many of them consecutively? No matter what they're doing there?
I mean, I'm not judging, but like, that's not great. Uh,
let me bring Sam in, Katie. I forgot to mention
(06:06):
that Sam is here. Sam, what's up with all the boobs?
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Okay? Well, first of all, there weren't that many, I mean,
and most of them were the same woman.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Most of them were. That's good. And who is that
woman by the way, like another dater? Or who is
who are we?
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Like?
Speaker 1 (06:27):
Girl minder?
Speaker 2 (06:29):
I'm single, I'm on dating apps. That'd be like, of
course people are going to send me those kind of pictures,
you know, Like, well why are.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
They all save on your phone and so accessible?
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Once I have them in my camera, like I can
do with them what I want, you know, so I
just keep them to the side just in case, you.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Know, so you save the old ones like you hang
on to the you have a little collection, little menagerie
of a little folder of well no, you know, he
needs he needs.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
You can delete the ones that you get texted from
your camera role.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Yeah, I know. I just what we've all learned the
hard way is that they just automatically appear there and
I didn't intend for them to stay there, but they
sometimes do. But nothing like this, Sam. So you had
a series of them, a bunch of them consecutively. So
it's fair to say that you're talking to a number
of women and they're all sending you pictures.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Yeah, I mean, like, listen, once, once I find the
person that you know, I want to kind of settle
down with, like I've get married or something, like, I'm
going to take them off with my phone. But yeah,
maybe just put them on a hard drive or whatever.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
They're coming off the phone. But he's gonna save that.
I'm not getting rid of that. He's gonna save a
hard hard drive, right, series was just cruising by. That's why,
I mean, oh my god. You're not supposed to keep
(08:01):
these things once the person's out of your life. It's
it's uncouth.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, the life of a bad Flor's.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
Okay, But you just admitted that you're going to keep
all of them even when you're with someone. Let me
tell you what I'm going to do when I get
married Someday I'm going to change my phone number. I'm
destroying all digital evidence. We're starting, We're stopping by the
Apple store, and we're starting from scratch, new computer, new phone,
new iPad, new phone number. I might even change my name.
But here you are saying that you're going to hang
(08:31):
on to all of them, and I can see why
Katie might have a problem. So Katie, look, he is singing.
In fairness, he is single. You guys are not together.
You know, it's it's fair to assume that when you're
dating that the people are dating other people as well.
So you know, it's unfortunate that we've learned a little
a little more about what he plans to do with
(08:52):
these pictures and that he saves them all, which I'm
sure inspires you to send pictures, right, I mean, what
are you going to do? You just not interested? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (09:02):
I think this is super gross and weird that he's
cataloging nudes from random women and meanwhile he's going out
with me, Like that's just it's it's so just gross.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
You had me until the part about keeping them all forever, right,
like to pass on to future iterations or something. I mean,
hard drive, I'm scared Okay, Look, so Katie, you want
to give another shot?
Speaker 3 (09:29):
Do you want?
Speaker 1 (09:29):
I mean, I'll just ask the question. But you know,
what if he erases all the nudes? What if he
agrees to erase all the nudes?
Speaker 3 (09:35):
No, well, clearly he's planning on putting them on a
hard drive just in case. So yeah, no, this is
going to be a no for me. I'm not interested
in going out with him again.
Speaker 1 (09:47):
All right, Sam, Well, look it sounds like you've got,
you know, a bit of an inventory, is some selections,
so I think he'll be okay, but it's not going
to work out with Katie.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Yeah. Thanks, I mean send me a nude like you remember,
I'm sure. Oh my god, work is gonna be fun now?
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Hr yeah, yeah, you might get some visitor seven right?
Oh boy? All right, guys, thank you for your time.
Best to pluck to both of you. I'm a little
creeped I'm a lot creeped out actually, which which takes
a lot. Best of luck to both of you.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
Thanks.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Thanks,
