How are you?

Speaker 1 (00:11):
You know what we're doing? Okay, hanging in there? What's
going on with this guy, Adam? Why don't you kind
of explain, you know, how you guys are mad about
any dates you've been on and where things are now?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Yeah. So I actually met him at Soho house. A
friend took me there for a party that she had,
and he was so handsome, he just so well and
we talked all night and I actually got his number
and we went on a pretty amazing date. And then
I went back to his place and it was beautiful.

(00:42):
We had such a great time. We've been hooked up
and I even flipped over and we've been talking of
the whole week. We were talking the whole week NonStop,
and we planned a date and then he literally just
ghosted me.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Wow, Okay, So, I mean there's a vibe everything is
going well, well enough that you know he asked you
on a date that leads to hooking up. I mean,
this is all good stuff. And you met in the
wild too. They met in the jungle in the wild,
like actually saw each other so they could vibe in person.
And then because you know, again we talked about all
the time. The dating apps, you don't really know what's
going to happen. You might vibe on the phone or

buy text or whatever, but then when you meet in
person it could be different. But in this case, you
knew what you were getting. He knew what he was getting,
and the follow up was so good. Now you're surprised
that you're being ghosted.

I even stayed over his house. That really happened.

It's like a sea book, not even like a drive by,
like the whole night, like you slept next to each
so that's very intimate.

Yeah, exactly. And breakfast, you know what I mean.

Like breakfast now and then the guy ghess to you,
because you know, I feel like if a date's not
going well and then maybe you hook up and stuff,
like if you sense it, I don't think this is
going anywhere, then it might be like ooh, that whole like, oh,
I'm yawning. I got to get up in the morning,
I got to wake up early tomorrow, I got stuff,
and then you'll get out kind of thing, right, But no,
I mean, this guy wanted you to and so this

Adam, good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling for
the Fred Show of the morning radio show, and the
whole crew is here, and I have to tell you
that we are on the radio right now, and I
would need your permission to continue with the call. Said, okay,
if we chat for just a second.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
I guess what is this about.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
I'll take that as a yes and thank You. Can
hang up anytime if you want. But we're calling on
behalf of a woman who says she met you at
a party and you guys went out recently. Her name
is Margaret. Do you remember meeting Margaret? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:44):
I remember meeting Margaret.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Okay, So what happened? Because she called us and told
us about meeting you and said you were very handsome
and was excited to go out with you, and told
us about the date and did say that she went
home with you and all of that, but says she
can't get a hold of you now. She feels like
she's being ghosted, so what's going on?

Speaker 3 (03:00):
I was, well, you guys aren't going to believe this,
and I'm definitely okay to talk about this. I just
want to say, okay, well thank you. After our first date,
I noticed one of my credit cards was hacked and
there was a bunch of charges on it that I
didn't make. Okay, all right, So I canceled the card
right away. But luckily one of the stores where it

was charged is actually owned by a friend of mine,
and so I went there and they checked this security
footage she showed me, and it was Margaret.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Okay, took my card and coach so like in the
middle of the night or something, while you're sleeping or
whatever you think she said.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, she paid with her phone, so
that means she grabbed my card added it to her
Apple pave.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Wow. Okay. And then the only way you really can
prove this is because you were able to go and
I don't know, look at the security footage, she said,
and talked to the guy who owned the store, and
so it just so happened that you, like, you have
actual proof that she did this. Oh yeah, did you
call it? Pey? Her pay like, why didn't you call

the police?

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Oh I did.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
She'll be hearing from my lawyer. Oh now what llawy,
I forgot to mention that Margaret is here. Let me
bring Margaret in. Margaret, girl, what are you doing? You're
a thief? Margaret? Hey, Margaret, Margaret, are you there?

Speaker 3 (04:22):
And Margaret just expect to call from my lawyer.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Okay, well you don't have to yell. But she's not
across the room. But actually she's no longer here.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Come on, everyone knows you. Just say cash.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Margaret looks you want me to speak who? Margaret's gone?
She hung up? So this woman stole from you. She
just we just talked to her. She's like, why won't
this guy go out with me again? Everything went so well.
She knew that she stole from you and still called
the radio and still wanted us to find out what.
So I guess she was hoping that you didn't know

that much.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
She's a trying to get another car exactly right now.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
She's like the.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Card, Oh my god, because this one got canceled. Let
me get another.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Like how can you not know? Like she obviously knew
that she stole. I mean, she's on tape. And she
was like trying to double dip here, like steal from
you and go out with you again. Well, she probably
didn't think she was gonna get caught because he probably
still has his card. And the way Apple will be
charging your card, you know, you just see the charges
come up and you don't look until you I mean
the back of her mind. She has to have a

guilty conscience. She has to know she stole from him.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
It's not a few a thief. No, you got no guilty.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Revio. Wow, all right, Well, she was on the phone
and she wanted to know why you wouldn't go out
with her again. I mean, I guess it doesn't really matter.
But did you like her until until she stole your
credit card? Yeah? But yeah, no it doesn't matter now
yeah I like you, of course not well, and I
definitely I hate to say that her kind of confirms

that she did something right. Oh yeah, otherwise she'd be
on here defending herself. But her disappearing, I mean, you
might want to use this to your advantage as well.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Oh absolutely, I will. I'll add that, you know, I'll
add this to the list of things where she absolutely
knew what she was doing. This is not a mistake.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
Yeah, wow, let me know if you need the audio, sir,

Yeah, for your court case. Look at this guy?

I mean, I don't want to be an accessory in
another crime. So yeah, we'll help you out have her weekend,
because I mean, what if we have set you guys
up on another date and then she steals from you again?
If she's listening, girl, I'm not part of this because
I don't know what she's capable of. That's what I'm
saying is I don't want to be an accessory to
a crime. But I mean we essentially were enabling her
to go out with him again if he didn't know
that she was a thief.

you know, good luck. I guess the good news is
it's a credit card, so you can you know, I
assume report fraud and maybe you're not on the hook
for it. But man, I'm sorry that we called it.

I just want to make sure she doesn't do this
to anybody else.
