Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been less waiting by the phone. It's the Fred
Shell Andy. Good morning, welcome to the show.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
How are you, good morning, Thanks for having me. I'm
pretty good.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
I'm pretty good, okay, but pretty good? So why just
pretty good? I mean, I know the purpose of this
is to find out if you've been ghosted, and you
feel like maybe you have been. So what happened with
this woman? Claire tell us everything?
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Yeah, okay, So I met Claire on Hinge. I was
pretty excited when we matched, you know, I asked for
her number, did the whole usual situation when you're trying
to meet up on those things. We agreed to go
out for a drink. She was like, she seemed pretty
into it. We had We had a great time, Like,
the conversation was easy, good sense of humor.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
We definitely connected. And you know, the bonus was, we
went back to my place in a nice little makeout session,
and I can't think of a single thing that went wrong.
And now she's just not responding to me at all.
So I'm a little confused.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Right, So you're about this, You were hoping to hear
from her again after the date. You're pretty sure when
you reached out she'd say, yeah, sure, let's go out
another time. Except you did, and she hasn't responded to
you at.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
All at all. Like actually, honestly, I thought maybe she
would reach out first, Like I was definitely like, I
waited a couple of days, you know, did that whole
thing and nothing.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Yeah, I mean we've discussed this before, the waiting thing.
It depends on the person that you're waiting on or
thinking you should wait for. Sometimes people want to hear
from you sooner some people. Sometimes people don't. But whatever
the case may be, you didn't wait for her entirely.
You did reach out, she's just not responding.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
Yeah, yeah, you know.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
A couple of days later, I was like, okay, well whatever,
maybe she's busier. I don't know. So sent her text message,
didn't get a response, send her follow up tech message.
I didn't want to be pushy, and you know that's
sort of where it ended.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Okay, well, let's we're gonna call Claire. You'll be on
the phone, we'll ask some questions. At some point you're
welcome to jump in on the call, and hopefully we
can figure out what's going on, straighten things out, and
set you guys up on another date that we pay for.
All right, Andy, that sounds great. I'm gonna play one song.
We'll be back in two minutes. Okay, perfect, Let's see
what happens next efter the weekend. Back in three minutes.
The Fred Show is commercial free.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
It's the weekend. The Fread Show is on.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Good morning, Thank you for waking up with us, Andy, Yep,
welcome back. Let's call Claire. You guys, you went on
a date. You thought everything went really well. You made
out at the end of the date, even and you
waited for her to reach out to you, which may
have been a mistake. But just after a couple of
days you're like, no, I'll reach out and ask her
out again. Except she has not responded to you, and
you want to know why.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Absolutely there. I can't think of a single reason why
she wouldn't be responding.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
All right, We're gonna call her now and find out.
Good luck, Andy. Thanks, Hello, Hi is this Claire?
Speaker 5 (02:46):
This is she?
Speaker 4 (02:47):
Hey Claire, good morning.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
My name is Fredam calling from the Fred's Show, the
radio program, and I do have to tell you that
we are on the radio right now and I would
need your permission to continue with the call.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
Can we ch out for a second.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
Yeah, I guess. I mean if I went something, well.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
Maybe you may have won something and I'll explain. But
we're calling on behalf of a dude named Andy who
says he recently went on a date with you that
he thought went pretty well.
Speaker 4 (03:11):
Do you remember, Andy, Yeah, the date.
Speaker 5 (03:15):
Did go well. Yeah, it was fun. We made out.
Speaker 6 (03:22):
And honestly, when when after we made out, we were
at his place and at his house, I just I
swear to about it.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
I just saw the biggest red flag in the world.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
Okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 6 (03:41):
I went into the kitchen to get a glass of water,
and I noticed he had one of those like dryer
rates board calendars and I love those things.
Speaker 5 (03:49):
So I went to like touch it, you know, I
love them.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
And as I wait, A hold on, so I was
gonna be clear on this. Like in his kitchen he
had like one of those office max like I don't.
Speaker 5 (03:58):
Know, calendar on it.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
You could like write on it, like you know, practice
for the kids or whatever at three or you know,
I don't know whatever.
Speaker 6 (04:07):
Yeah, but like this one he kept us his own
calendar and like you have to refill it at the
beginning of each month. Because you have to put in
the right dates and everything.
Speaker 5 (04:16):
So it's just.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Sure, okay, yeah, all right, so what what was.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
On with it?
Speaker 6 (04:22):
Well, okay, so keep that in mind that like at
the beginning of each month you have to write it
in and I was looking at it and all of
a sudden, I see, like for one full week it
says Amanda's period.
Speaker 5 (04:39):
I don't even know if I'm allowed to say that,
Like you're but I don't know who the hell Amanda is.
Speaker 6 (04:47):
But like, if he's concerned about this woman's period each month,
then like I probably should not be involved.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
That's the truly.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
In the kitchen on the I've heard of tracker, and
I've heard of you know, I don't know code words.
Speaker 6 (05:03):
I'm a woman, and I don't even I mean, I
track it with an appy, That's what I mean.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
I don't mean, like, yeah, they.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
Don't put like an eye tagging or whatever those things
are called. Let me bring Andy in because I'm really curious, Andy,
who the hell is Amanda and why are we tracking that?
Speaker 4 (05:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (05:26):
I don't actually I don't know what she's talking about.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
You don't know what she's talking about.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
I mean, that was like if that was an honestly,
I don't really pay much attention to that dry rate
for it.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
So like I don't know each month.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
But I had this current month and you have to
write the days in. It sounds like so you somebody
would have filled it out this month.
Speaker 4 (05:48):
Do you know anyone named No?
Speaker 2 (05:50):
I think, what do you know anyone named Amanda?
Speaker 3 (05:54):
No?
Speaker 4 (05:55):
No, well, I mean.
Speaker 5 (05:57):
It's a lot you wouldn't know.
Speaker 7 (05:59):
I mean I I dated a girl named Amanda like
a while, so you know, because that would be that
would be a yes, I do know someone and who
is you know, private health information you have access to
and you're tracking for your personal knowledge.
Speaker 4 (06:15):
And you're saying this that you haven't seen a Samanda
in how long?
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Oh, like a really long time, like really.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
Like a week or two.
Speaker 6 (06:23):
She's literally she's opulating right now.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
And I know that because it was.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Yeah, no, no, you know that that that No.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
I I I forget sometimes about like filling that in.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
So that's got to be from like months ago, like
a long time.
Speaker 5 (06:43):
Ago, killed in already it had our.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
Explain that.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
I think, you know, like she she went on like
when we were dating and like filled it in and
like put it on and it was kind of a joke,
like it was something we'd kind of laugh about, you know,
like I'm gonna.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Put it up there so you know, and you could
play on ahead, you.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Know, I know, Yeah, this is this is definitely sus
I mean, this is not adding up. Like why you
say you don't pay attention to the calendar, but you
put their date on it. You say you don't know
this woman, but you do you know?
Speaker 8 (07:21):
Yeah, man that he doesn't know put it on the calendar.
Speaker 6 (07:25):
Yea, even if she did, when was the last time
she was there that she felt comfortable enough to add
her period to yours?
Speaker 4 (07:34):
I mean it would have been this month. Calendar might
be on there. Yeah, dude, yeah, I don't want you
to own this.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
Why don't you just say, like I don't know, you
still dabble with her or something doing something.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
I mean listen, like I don't know, fine, sure whatever,
we're like not exclusive, we're hanging out.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
We've come a long way in the last three or
four minutes.
Speaker 8 (07:56):
Someone you don't even know exactly, not a dabble, non exclusively,
and he knows when to and when not to, so
he schedules his dates.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Okay, alright, I'm sorry, but you come off like a
big ass loser now or not a loser as well?
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Losing was that was Freudian slip.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
You come off like a big ass liar, is what
I meant to say, because you just completely changed the story.
So you could have just said that from the beginning
and she might have understood. But now I don't know
what I believe about you.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Yeah, I mean, I don't know. I guess I forget
that I'm not I mean, You're just I mean, I'm
going now because I'm kind of caught.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
You think, you know, you could have just said wait,
but he literally.
Speaker 6 (08:44):
Just admitted that he's only copping to it because he
was cost So if he wasn't caught, then he would
just continue lying.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
Right, this is not what I wouldn't even admit that.
Speaker 5 (08:53):
You're a bad liar.
Speaker 6 (08:54):
Though you realized like you might have gotten away with this,
it's not even good at what you try to.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
You might have gotten away with this because Andy, you
could have just been like, yeah, I broke up with
her while ago. Sometimes I don't know why she'd put
that whatever, but I'm single and i'm you know, maybe
this woman would have said, Okay, I'll give you another shot,
but no, not now. I guarantee Claire you don't want
to go out with him again.
Speaker 5 (09:14):
No, definitely, definitely not.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
Okay, Well, we'll look clear.
Speaker 5 (09:19):
Okay, thank you, thank.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
You for your time and for the explanation. And Andy,
I don't know, man, I might. I might take that
old dry erase board down one work things out with
what's your face?
Speaker 4 (09:30):
So one of the next weeks she'll be good. Yeah, Jesus, Oh.
Speaker 1 (09:37):
My god, guys, I'm sorry it's not going to work out.
Best of luck to both of you.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
Oh, I'm very much okay, but thank you.
