Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been left waiting by the phone.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
It's the Fred Show. Diego good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Hey, good morning, how are you great?

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Welcome to the show waiting by the phone. This is
where we're trying to trying to help you out investigate
while you may have been ghosted. Why don't you tell
us about Mary, how you guys met, about any dates
that you've been on, and then kind of what's going
on right now?

Speaker 4 (00:24):
Sure?

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Yeah, thanks for taking that call. I have honestly no
idea what happened. So I met Mary on Hinge and
it actually was a really good date moving out. We
chatted for like three days, didn't keep it going too long,
and just went right out, which is usually a good
sign on Hinge, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yeah, and.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
She had a great time. We went to this really
great restaurant of Love to Barrow after I got some
ice cream on her walk and we talked the whole time,
showing about a friends and family.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
I feel like we really hit it off.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
And then we were talking for I don't know a
few days every day after our date, and then all
of a sudden, she just stopped, just like completely. I
asked her a question I should never respond. I asked
her one more question. She didn't respond, and so I
just stopped. I don't know why she did not respond
to me.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
I don't know what I did.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
I feel like I didn't say anything weird. I just
I'm completely clue this year. I have no idea what happened.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
All right, Well, that's interesting because normally what happens is,
you know, things go well up until the date, and
then you don't hear anything after the date. But you're saying,
in this case, the date must have gone okay because
you talked afterwards. But it was somewhere in there that
she decided to stop talking to you.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Yeah, And I look back in the thread and I
didn't say anything weird or I don't know. I thought
maybe I assended her somehow. I can't imagine what it was.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
See.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
I hate that, Like, as you know, I'm a guy
with a little bit of anxiety. People on the show
have the same thing. And it's like, I just assume
that someone's mad at me if they stopped talking to me,
if they stopped texting me for any period of time,
and she could be busy, there could be any number
of things going on, But I just assume I did something,
and so I'm sure you're you know, you want to answers.
It's like everything went well until now, so why now?

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:04):
I just feel like if she tells me what's going on,
maybe I can explain or whatever it is I didn't,
I don't know, so I just want to know how
to fix it, you know.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Okay, Well, let's call her. I'm going to play one song.
We'll come back in a couple of minutes. We'll call her.
You'll be on the phone. We'll ask some questions. At
some point. You're welcome to come in on the call
and hopefully we can figure out what's up, straighten things out,
set you guys up on another date, and pay for it.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Okay, awesome, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Let's find out what's up. In Part two, waiting by
the phone, we shout investigate after chaperone back in two
minutes on the Freend Show. Stay here, it's chaparone. It's
a Freend Show. Good morning, thanks for having us on
the radio. And the iHeart app anytime live and later
catch up the frend Show on demand is what you
search for? Hey, diego Pagan. All right, welcome back. Let's
call Mary. You guys met on a dating app, you chatted,

(02:49):
you went on a date, you chatted after the date,
and then you were ghosted left on red.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
You want to know what's going on because it doesn't
make any sense.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
Yeah, exactly, I have no idea where we're at.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
Okay, let's call Mary now, good luck?

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Thank you?

Speaker 4 (03:12):
Hello?

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Hi is this Mary?

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:16):
This is hi Mary, Good morning. My name is Fred.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
I'm called from the Fred Show and the whole crew
is here, and I'm sorry to bother, but I do
have to tell you that we are on the radio
right now. I would neet your permission to continue. Is
it okay if we talk for a second?

Speaker 4 (03:29):
Yeah, sure, Hi, I know.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
Yeah, it's a little bit awkward, and I appreciate that
we're calling on behalf of a guy who says he
met you on a dating app and says he went
out with you on a date.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
His name is Diego.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Hi. Yeah, yeah, Diego, you remember Diego.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Great, So he describes to us or kind of fill
this in on what was going on. He said that
you guys chatted on the dating app after you matched,
that you went on a date. He chatted some more afterwards,
and then he says that you've disappeared, and he wants
to know why because he likes you. Can you kind
of maybe indulgess or phillis in on what's going on?

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah, I mean that's all sounds that sounds correct. We
did have fun on the date, like I had a
good time on the date, and actually did want to
see him again actually until something happened, and now I
don't want to see him anymore.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Okay, Well, what's that something? Because you know, he might
like to know what that is, and since we're in
contact with him, we can tell him.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Okay, So while we were texting after the date, I
sent him a selfie from my work and he replied
with a selfie like a photo from his like work
from home set up, and the photo looked normal, But

(04:48):
when I zoomed in, like I noticed on his computer
he had a ton of corn tabs open, like a lot, yeah, like.

Speaker 5 (04:59):
Fifteen yeah, even worse though I could actually see like
some of what they were.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Let's let's go into Mary.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
One thing I remember it said something like stepmom teaches
Horny's daughter how it's.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Done the step category of course, what else?

Speaker 4 (05:31):
And then and another one which was particularly concerning I
don't know it just was like awkward. It was. It
was like titled Hoti stuck in car window gets a
nice beside.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
Yeah, I might have seen that one.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yeah, actually that's a pretty good one.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
He is.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Yeah, Well, I want to know why all the tabs?
Why are there so many tabs?

Speaker 4 (05:56):
What?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
I want to know?

Speaker 1 (05:57):
I know that's how I felt.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
You know, it was an accident, obviously, but the problem is,
like now I just know what kind of adults that
hes into, and like I just don't think I can
forget all of them.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
So let me.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
I forgot you mentioned that Diego is here. I gotta
I gotta bring Diego in on this. I'm sorry. I always, uh,
I always leave that part out. Diego, you dirty dog?
Why are you leaving the tabs open like you can't
just enjoy? I mean, what are you like going through
and picking out a playlist for later or something. I mean,
I don't know why you gotta have them all open?

Speaker 3 (06:35):
First of all, why she.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Zoom in on the photos?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
There's there's nothing I don't understand.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
I would have done the same thing that I would
have done the same thing if you take a selfie
help and your computer. Well, I'm sorry, I'm not helpful.
But if you take a selfie and your computer screen
is in the background and I can zoom in and
see what's on it, especially if it looks like it
might be, you know, something unsavory or savory for that matter,

(07:00):
I would look.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Who wouldn't.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
I don't think she knows you saw.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
She's just saying this.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Honestly, it's no one's business.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
I don't know why.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
You shared the photo. And seriously, he's right, anyone would
do that. It's human nature for people as new men.
I mean, you shared the photo and it was on your.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
This is the exact reason why Steve John's invented that
pincy thing. This is the exact purpose so we can
do the pincy thing on the phone and like make
it all big and see what people are doing in
the background. I mean, if you're going to take a selfie,
you're not at all conscious about what's in the background
when you take the selfie.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
It was it's just my screen saver. There's no I
can't imagine why she looked that close anyway. I think
it's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
You are you have a screen saver of porn tabs,
you know.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
I don't think she ever knows what she saw why,
So she knows, dude, why you got so many tabs
of porn?

Speaker 4 (08:00):
Right?

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Hey, I do that too, multi yeah? No whoaa whoa hold?
So so what do you?

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Okay, so Kiki does too, So what do you Why
are you saving it for later? Like, don't you like
when the time is, when there's a need, you open
up the browser and take a look.

Speaker 6 (08:19):
Oh, I mean I just thought maybe he hadn't closed
out yet, But I do like a lot of tabs
open in case I get bored with one video and
need to quickly go to a next one.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Oh in case, yeah, why only browse on my phone?
Because you guys hold your phone and that's so inconvenient.
I don't I need my It's quite convenient. It's quite
convenient for us. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Even even worse is when you like, if you're watching
I'm trying to trying to like do this because you're
if you're watching something, and then when you're done watching it,
if you like put your phone down. But you know
how if you don't close out the windows on the
I phone, and so then you and then when you're
in public, you go to look for something and you
open the browser and it's.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Like yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Yeah, but in this case, okay, And I also like
to know why in the middle of the work day.
But you know what, way, the time is right. You know,
when the time is right, you do what you gotta do.
But I also I also got to say, we're all
grown ups here, Mary. I mean, the guy looks at
adult stuff, so be it. I would be surprised if
you didn't. You know, it was kind of a lapse
in judgment momentarily. But at the same time, what does

(09:25):
that have to do with whether you like the guy
or not?

Speaker 4 (09:28):
Well, okay, so I get that that's okay. First of all,
I don't like that he is thinking that I'm weird
for zooming in that kind of bothers, right, But it's
just really more that, like now I kind of know
what type of stuff he's into, and that's I don't
know in the fact that there was so many tabs open,
and that it was just it was a little much

(09:49):
for me all together. It's it was just too much.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Okay, all right, Hey, look, dieg, nothing to be ashamed of.
You don't have to deny that that's what it is.
It is what it is not, and it's all good.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
You know sometimes you just click something and pop ups
come up.

Speaker 6 (10:03):
Maybe no, come on, now, all right, I was I'm
saying to you, it's no one judges you for looking
at that stuff.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
I mean research.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
I didn't do anything.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Well, but did that woman get out from being stuck
in the car window? Yeah, she's still stuck. I just
I'm worried about it. Someone was someone able to rescue her.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Well, they got a big vout of Crisco, and I
think that helped.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
Okay, I've never seen that care Yeah right and.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Google.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Now all right, guys, like he's going to deny it. Mary,
You're not interested anymore anyway, so it's not going to
be a match.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Guys.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
I'm sorry, but thank you so much for your time.
Best of lucks at both of you. Cay Loo's back
for VAK. The Entertainment Report is next, Trending Stories and
The Fun Fact all coming up.
